# 1. Introduction #

Hello there, and welcome to the song lyrics guide for Fantasia: Music Evolved.
As you may know, this game is an interactive successor to Walt Disney's 1940
animated film "Fantasia" and its 1999 sequel "Fantasia 2000", both upon which
the game is based. What I'm about to show you are the song lyrics in this
guide, which are based off of the real, original versions of the actual songs,
not the F:ME mixes. You will also see some factoids and tidbits about each
song, though you should be warned that this game is rated E10+ for lyrics
(i.e., "Mild references to profanity, sexuality, violence, alcohol or drug use
in music") that may be suggestive or inappropriate for children under 10 years
old in some of the songs that I will point out to you. In any case, I hope you
have fun reading this guide, as without further ado, I present to you... the
song lyrics!

+-----------------+----------------------------------------+
| TRIVIA | This song was written by Lady Gaga |
| | while she was touring for her Born |
| | This Way Ball, and almost left out of |
| | the album. Lyrically, the song deals |
| | with how she is dependent on her fans' |
| | adoration, while her vocals have been |
| | compared by music critics to those of |
| | Annie Lennox and David Bowie. P.S. |
| | BTW, when the guys at Disney |
| | Interactive Studios wanted to put the |
| | album cover the song is in, there was |
| | a problem: the cover image, created by |
| | Jeff Koons, features a nude sculpture |
| | of Gaga with a blue gazing ball in |
| | front of her, with the background |
| | consisting of art works including "The |
| | Birth of Venus" by Sandro Botticelli, |
| | which inspired Gaga's image through |
| | creation of Artpop. Since the guys |
| | didn't want to raise the ESRB rating |
| | to a "T" by placing the "naked" album |
| | cover next to the song, they instead |
| | had to go with the cover art for the |
| | song that had been released as a |
| | single on August 12, 2013, which felt |
| | a little weird, but so much better. |
| | Lady Gaga can be such a weirdo, IMO. |
| | :P |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

[Verse 1:]
I stand here waiting for you to bang the gong
To crash the critic saying, "Is it right or is it wrong?"
If only fame had an I.V., baby could I bear
Being away from you, I found the vein, put it in here

I live for the applause, applause, applause
I live for the applause-plause
Live for the applause-plause
Live for the way that you cheer and scream for me
The applause, applause, applause

Give me that thing that I love (I'll turn the lights out)
Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch (make it real loud)
Give me that thing that I love (I'll turn the lights out)
Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch (make it real loud)

(A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E) Make it real loud
(A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E) Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch
(A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E) Make it real loud
(A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E) Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch

[Verse 2:]
I've overheard your theory "nostalgia's for geeks"
I guess sir, if you say so, some of us just like to read
One second I'm a Koons, then suddenly the Koons is me
Pop culture was in art, now art's in pop culture in me

I live for the applause, applause, applause
I live for the applause-plause
Live for the applause-plause
Live for the way that you cheer and scream for me
The applause, applause, applause

Give me that thing that I love (I'll turn the lights out)
Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch (make it real loud)
Give me that thing that I love (I'll turn the lights out)
Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch (make it real loud)

(A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E) Make it real loud
(A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E) Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch
(A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E) Make it real loud
(A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E) Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch

[Bridge:]
Touch, touch
Touch, touch now
Ooh-ooh-ooh-hoo
Ooh-ooh-ooh-hoo
Ooh-ooh-ooh-hoo
Ooh-ooh

I live for the applause, applause, applause
I live for the applause-plause
Live for the applause-plause
Live for the way that you cheer and scream for me
The applause, applause, applause

Give me that thing that I love (I'll turn the lights out)
Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch (make it real loud)
Give me that thing that I love (I'll turn the lights out)
Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch (make it real loud)

(A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E) Make it real loud
(A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E) Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch (make it real loud)
(A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E) Make it real loud
(A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E) Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch

+-----------------+----------------------------------------+
| TRIVIA | In case you didn't know, "Blue Monday" |
| | is a song by British synthpop band New |
| | Order, which was first released in |
| | 1983, then later remixed in 1988 and |
| | 1995. At nearly seven-and-a-half |
| | minutes, the song is one of the |
| | longest tracks ever to chart on the UK |
| | singles chart, and the biggest-selling |
| | 12" single of all time. It later |
| | became a popular anthem in the dance |
| | club scene, and has since been covered |
| | by other artists, among them the U.S. |
| | alternative metal band Orgy (who |
| | released the cover as a second single |
| | for the album "Candyass" on December |
| | 14, 1998). A pretty cool successor, |
| | if I say so myself. :) |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

How does it feel
To treat me like you do
When you've laid your hands upon me
And told me who you are

I thought I was mistaken
I thought I heard your words
Tell me how do I feel
Tell me now how do I feel

Those who came before me
Lived through their vocations
From the past until completion
They will turn away no more

And I still find it so hard
To say what I need to say
But I'm quite sure that you'll tell me
Just how I should feel today

I see a ship in the harbor
I can and shall obey
But if it wasn't for your misfortunes
I'd be a heavenly person today

And I thought I was mistaken
And I thought I heard you speak
Tell me how do I feel
Tell me now how should I feel

Now I stand here waiting

I thought I told you to leave me
While I walked down to the beach
Tell me how does it feel
When your heart grows cold
(grows cold, grows cold, grows cold)

| TRIVIA | This song was written by Freddie |
| | Mercury while he was at his home at |
| | Holland Road, Kensington, in West |
| | London. The song consists of several |
| | sections: a ballad segment ending with |
| | a guitar solo, an operatic passage, |
| | and a hard rock section. At the time, |
| | it was the most expensive single ever |
| | made, having become a commercial |
| | success and selling more than a |
| | million copies by the end of January |
| | 1976. Following Mercury's death 15 |
| | years later, the song became number 1 |
| | for five weeks. In the U.S., it |
| | originally peaked at #9 in 1976, and |
| | returned to the chart at #2 in 1992 |
| | following the song's appearance in the |
| | film "Wayne's World", which revived |
| | its American popularity and earned the |
| | song an MTV Video Music Award for |
| | "Best Video from a Film". It also |
| | appeared in another Harmonix game, |
| | 2010's "Rock Band 3". Nice! |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide,
No escape from reality.

Open your eyes,
Look up to the skies and see.
I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy,
Because I'm easy come, easy go,
Little high, little low.
Any way the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me, to me.

Mama, just killed a man,
Put a gun against his head,
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead.
Mama, life had just begun,
But now I've gone and thrown it all away.

Mama, ooh,
Didn't mean to make you cry,
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow,
Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters.

Too late, my time has come,
Sends shivers down my spine,
Body's aching all the time.
Goodbye, everybody, I've got to go,
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth.

Mama, ooh (any way the wind blows),
I don't wanna die,
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all.

[Guitar solo]

I see a little silhouetto of a man,
Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the fandango?
Thunderbolt and lightning,
Very, very frightening me.
(Galileo) Galileo,
(Galileo) Galileo,
Galileo, Figaro,
Magnifico. (-co, -co, -co)

I'm just a poor boy, nobody loves me.
He's just a poor boy from a poor family,
Spare him his life from this monstrosity.

Easy come, easy go, will you let me go?
Bismillah! (No!) We will not let you go. (Let him go!)
Bismillah! We will not let you go. (Let him go!)
Bismillah! We will not let you go. (Let me go!)
Will not let you go. (Let me go!)
Will not let you go. Let me go! (Oh, oh, oh)
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Oh, mamma mia, mamma mia (Mamma mia, let me go.)
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for me.

[Guitar interlude]

So you think you can stone me and spit in my eyes?
So you think you can love me and leave me to die?
Oh, baby, can't do this to me, baby,
Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta here.

[Guitar interlude and solo]

(Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh-yeah, ooh-yeah.)

Nothing really matters,
Anyone can see,
Nothing really matters,
Nothing really matters to me.

Any way the wind blows.

| TRIVIA | "Enjoy the Silence" was written by |
| | British pop band Depeche Mode in late |
| | 1989. The song was certified Gold in |
| | the U.S. and Germany, and won Best |
| | British Single at the 1991 BRIT |
| | Awards. There are two music videos |
| | for the song. The first video |
| | references the themes and storyline of |
| | the philosophical children's book by |
| | Antoine de Saint-Exupry, "The Little |
| | Prince", with brief flashes of a |
| | single rose (which is also on the |
| | album cover) appearing throughout the |
| | video. The second video is a |
| | promotional one, shot by French TV, |
| | with the band lip-syncing the song |
| | while standing atop the World Trade |
| | Center at the WTC rooftop World |
| | observatory. Pretty ironic that the |
| | WTC would stand for another eleven |
| | years until the 9/11 attacks. Oh |
| | well. |

Words like violence
Break the silence
Come crashing in
Into my little world
Painful to me
Pierce right through me
Can't you understand
Oh my little girl

All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm

Vows are spoken
To be broken
Feelings are intense
Words are trivial
Pleasures remain
So does the pain
Words are meaningless
And forgettable

All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm

All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm

All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm

[Enjoy the silence]

| TRIVIA | Believe it or not, "Feel Good Inc." is |
| | a song written by Damon Albarn and his |
| | virtual band Gorillaz in 2005. In one |
| | interview from the iTunes session in |
| | 2010, band member 2D stated that the |
| | inspiration for the song came from the |
| | time that he was passing a huge field |
| | of wind turbines at the San Gorgonio |
| | Pass Wind Farm while believing that he |
| | was "going to the Coachella Festival |
| | or something", so he really started |
| | with the chorus section and then built |
| | it up from there. In addition, the |
| | song features rap verses by De La Soul |
| | and its themes revolve around |
| | isolation and escapism. The song went |
| | on to win the MTV Video Music Awards |
| | for "Breakthough Video" and "Best |
| | Special Effects in a Video", and the |
| | 2006 Grammy Award for "Best Pop |
| | Collaboration with Vocals". Not bad |
| | for a cartoon band with real-life |
| | fame. P.S. BTW, in case you didn't |
| | know, this song is the edited version, |
| | because the original had strong |
| | language that was inappropriate for |
| | children, so the guys at Disney |
| | Interactive Studios had to tone down |
| | the language in the song in order to |
| | fit the E10+ rating. |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

Hahahahahahahahaha,
Feel good,
Feel good,
Feel good,
Feel good,
Feel good,
Feel good,
Feel good,
Feel good,
Feel good...

City's breaking down on a camel's back.
They just have to go 'cause they don't know wack
So all you fill the streets it's appealing to see
You won't get out the county, 'cause you're bad and free
You've got a new horizon it's ephemeral style.
A melancholy town where we never smile.
And all I wanna hear is the message beep.
My dreams, they've got to kiss me 'cause I don't get sleep, no

Windmill, windmill for the land.
Turned forever hand in hand
Take it all in on your stride
It is ticking, falling down
Love forever love is free
Let's turn forever you and me
Windmill, windmill for the land
Is everybody in?

[De La Soul:]
Laughing gas these hazmats, fast cats,
Lining them up like, like that
Lay these ponies at the track
It's my chocolate attack.
I'm stepping in the heart of this here
Care bear reppin' it harder this year
Watch me as I gravitate
Hahahahahahaa.

Yo, we gonna go ghost town,
This motown,
With your sound
You're in the blink
Gonna bite the dust
Can't fight with us
With your sound
You kill the INC.
So don't stop, get it, get it
Until you jet ahead.
Yo, watch the way I navigate
Hahahahahhaa.

Feel good, ahhhhahahahah
Feel good, ahhhhahahahah
Feel good, ahhhhahahahah
Feel good, ahhhhahahahah

Windmill, windmill for the land.
Turned forever hand in hand
Take it all in on your stride
It is ticking, falling down
Love forever love is free
Let's turn forever you and me
Windmill, windmill for the land
Is everybody in?

[De La Soul:]
Don't stop, get it, get it
We are your captains in it
Steady,
Watch me navigate,
Ahahahahahhaa.
Don't stop, get it, get it
We are your captains in it
Steady,
Watch me navigate,
Ahahahahahhaa.

Feel good, ahhhhahahahaha
Feel good,

| TRIVIA | This song was written by Jimi Hendrix |
| | and recorded by his band, The Jimi |
| | Hendrix Experience, in early 1967. |
| | The song was described as "an exercise |
| | in soul, psychedelic rock, and |
| | polyrhythmic jazz-inspired drumming" |
| | by AllMusic critic Matthew Greenwald. |
| | The song became so popular, it was |
| | even covered by The Red Hot Chili |
| | Peppers on their 1989 album, "Mother's |
| | Milk". Despite its sexual overtones, |
| | the origin of the song came when bass |
| | player Noel Redding invited Hendrix to |
| | his mother's house on New Year's Eve |
| | in Folkestone, England, after a gig. |
| | Once they arrived at Redding's house, |
| | Hendrix asked Redding's mom if he |
| | could stand next to her fireplace to |
| | warm himself. She agreed, but her |
| | Great Dane was in the way, so Hendrix |
| | called out, "Move over, Rover, and let |
| | Jimi take over!" What a pretty weird |
| | origin for a song, if you ask me! :P |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

Alright,
now dig this, baby

You don't care for me
I don'-a care about that
You gotta new fool, ha!
I like it like that

I have only one burning desire
Let me stand next to your fire

Let me stand next to your fire (Hey, let me stand next to your fire)
Let me stand next to your fire (Oh, let me stand, baby)
Let me stand next to your fire (Let me stand)
Let me stand next to your fire (Yeah, baby)

Listen here, baby
and stop acting so crazy

You say your mum ain't home,
it ain't my concern,
Just don't play with me and you won't get burned

I have only one itching desire
Let me stand next to your fire

Let me stand next to your fire (Yeah! Let me stand, baby)
Let me stand next to your fire (Let me stand)
Let me stand next to your fire (Oh, let me stand)
Let me stand next to your fire (OW!)

Aww, move over, Rover
and let Jimi take over
Yeah, you know what I'm talking 'bout
Yeah, get on with it, baby

Oh!
Yeah.

That's what I'm talking 'bout
Now dig this!
Ha!
Now listen, baby

You try to gimme your money
you better save it, babe
Save it for your rainy day

I have only one burning desire
Let me stand next to your fire, ha

Let me stand next to your fire (Ow, let me stand)
Let me stand next to your fire (Oh, let me stand, baby)
Let me stand next to your fire (I ain't gonna do you no harm)
Let me stand next to your fire (Ow!)

Yeah!
You'd better move it, baby...
I ain't gonna hurt you, baby...
I ain't calling your name...
Ow!
Ah, yes, that's Jimi talking, baby!
Yeah, baby
Ooooh!

| TRIVIA | This is a tricky song title to work |
| | with, as the title is the censored |
| | version of "the other f-word" that is |
| | very offensive to children. Anyway, |
| | the song was written by CeeLo Green, |
| | The Smeezingtons and Brody Brown in |
| | 2010 as a "take that" to Atlantic |
| | Records itself, as CeeLo explained in |
| | an NME interview. The song gained so |
| | much popularity, it was remixed in |
| | "The Colbert Report" as "F*** You (Fox |
| | News", with the first full verse as a |
| | satirical parody of the Fox News |
| | Channel Controversies. Another |
| | version of the song, entitled "Thank |
| | You", was rewritten as a tribute to |
| | firefighters (the lyrics mention |
| | CeeLo's mom as one of them) and |
| | released on May 9, 2011. The song was |
| | even performed by Gwyneth Paltrow in |
| | the "Glee" episode "The Substitute" on |
| | November 16, 2010. It's kind of |
| | amazing how one little song with |
| | lyrics that could have been offensive |
| | for children, and could have gotten |
| | CeeLo written out of the contract with |
| | Altantic Records for their |
| | constraining his sense of creativity, |
| | could have so much talent for |
| | everything. |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

[Chorus]
I see you driving 'round town
With the girl I love and I'm like,
Forget you!
Oo, oo, ooo
I guess the change in my pocket
Wasn't enough I'm like,
Forget you!
And forget her too!
Said, if I was richer, I'd still be with ya
Ha, now ain't that some shh? (ain't that some shh?)
And although there's pain in my chest
I still wish you the best with a...
Forget you!
Oo, oo, ooo

Yeah I'm sorry, I can't afford a Ferrari,
But that don't mean I can't get you there.
I guess she's an Xbox and I'm more Atari,
But the way you play your game ain't fair.

I pity the fool that falls in love with you
(Oh she's a gold digger)
Well
(Just thought you should know better)
Ooooooh
I've got some news for you oh
Go ahead and tell your little boyfriend

[Chorus]
I see you driving 'round town
With the girl I love and I'm like,
Forget you!
Oo, oo, ooo
I guess the change in my pocket
Wasn't enough I'm like,
Forget you!
And forget her too!
Said, if I was richer, I'd still be with ya
Ha, now ain't that some shh? (ain't that some shh?)
And although there's pain in my chest
I still wish you the best with a...
Forget you!
Oo, oo, ooo

Now I know, that I had to borrow,
Beg and steal and lie and cheat, yeah.
Trying to keep ya, trying to please ya.
'Cause being in love with you ain't cheap yah.

I pity the fool that falls in love with you
(Oh she's a gold digger)
Well
(Just thought you should know better)
Ooooooh
I've got some news for you
Ooh, I really hate you right now

[Chorus]
I see you driving 'round town
With the girl I love and I'm like,
Forget you!
Oo, oo, ooo
I guess the change in my pocket
Wasn't enough and I'm like,
Forget you!
And forget her too!
Said, if I was richer, I'd still be with ya
Ha, now ain't that some shh? (ain't that some shh?)
And although there's pain in my chest
I still wish you the best with a...
Forget you!
Oo, oo, ooo

Now baby, baby, baby
Why d'you wanna wanna hurt me so bad?
(So bad) (So bad) (So bad)
I tried to tell my momma but she told me
"This is one for your dad"
(Your dad)
Yes she did
And I was like
NO! Whhhy? NO! Whhhy? NO!
Whhhy lady? Oh! I love you oh!
I still love you. Oooh!

[Chorus]
I see you driving 'round town
With the girl I love and I'm like,
Forget you!
Oo, oo, ooo
I guess the change in my pocket
Wasn't enough I'm like,
Forget you!
And forget her too!
Said, if I was richer, I'd still be with ya
Ha, now ain't that some shh? (ain't that some shh?)
And although there's pain in my chest
I still wish you the best with a...
Forget you!

| | song's title itself comes from the |
| | Jamaican patois slang word for "go |
| | on", and the song itself comments on a |
| | weed-smoking young character in Iraq |
| | War/post 9/11-period London, caught in |
| | street battles, paranoid, and chased |
| | by the police while looking for a job |
| | in the city. "Galang" was a major |
| | critical success among contemporary |
| | and older critics, who frequently hail |
| | its sound and lyrics as novel, |
| | reflective, and ahead of their time. |
| | What a pretty sweet time of success! |

| TRIVIA | "Get Ur Freak On" is a rap song |
| | written and produced by Missy |
| | "Misdemeanor" Elliot and Timbaland in |
| | 2000. The song is based on heavy |
| | bhangra elements, a popular music and |
| | dance form from the Punjab state of |
| | India, and features a six-note base |
| | that is a Punjabi melody played on a |
| | tumbi, a stringed Indian instrument. |
| | The song became so popular, it |
| | appeared in the soundtrack and |
| | background of the Angelina Jolie film |
| | "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" (2001, as a |
| | remix with Nelly Furtado); in the 2003 |
| | film "The Rundown" with Dwayne "The |
| | Rock" Johnson (remixed with AC/DC's |
| | "Back in Black"); and in the 2005 film |
| | "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" starring |
| | Steve Carrell. This is kinda weird |
| | how a rap song got featured in a game |
| | like this one, and yet it feels so... |
| | addictive. :S |

| TRIVIA | "In Your Eyes" is a song written by |
| | British musician Peter Gabriel in 1985 |
| | and released as a third single in |
| | 1986, with Youssou N'Dour singing some |
| | choruses translated into his native |
| | Wolof (a language native to Senegal, |
| | Gambia and Mauritania in Africa). The |
| | song became used as a theme for the |
| | 1989 film "Say Anything...", directed |
| | by Cameron Crowe, which features Ione |
| | Skye and John Cusack. Repopularized |
| | by its usage in the film, the song |
| | re-entered the U.S. charts but failed |
| | to crack the top 40 in its second run, |
| | reaching as high as #41. At least the |
| | song had its popularity for the media. |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

Love, I get so lost, sometimes
Days pass and this emptiness fills my heart
When I want to run away
I drive off in my car
But whichever way I go
I come back to the place you are

All my instincts, they return
And the grand facade, so soon will burn
Without a noise, without my pride
I reach out from the inside

In your eyes
The light, the heat
(Your eyes)
I am complete
(Your eyes)
I see the doorway
(Your eyes)
To a thousand churches
(Your eyes)
The resolution
(Your eyes)
Of all the fruitless searches
(Your eyes)
(Your eyes)
Oh, I see the light and the heat
(Your eyes)
Oh
(Your eyes)
I want to be that complete
(Your eyes)
I want to touch the light
(Your eyes)
The heat I see in your eyes

Love, I don't like to see so much pain
So much wasted and this moment keeps slipping away
I get so tired of working so hard for our survival
I look to the time with you to keep me awake and alive

And all my instincts, they return
And the grand facade, so soon will burn
Without a noise, without my pride
I reach out from the inside

In your eyes
(Your eyes)
(Your eyes)
In your eyes
(Your eyes)
The light, the heat
(Your eyes)
I am complete
(Your eyes)
I see the doorway
(Your eyes)
To a thousand churches
(Your eyes)
The resolution

(Your eyes)
Oh, I see the light and the heat
(Your eyes)
Oh
(Your eyes)
I want to be that complete
(Your eyes)
I want to touch the light
(Your eyes)
The heat I see in your eyes
Your eyes, your eyes

| TRIVIA | "Locked Out of Heaven" is a song that |
| | was written by Bruno Mars, Philip |
| | Lawrence, and Ari Levine of The |
| | Smeezingtons (the same band who |
| | co-wrote the CeeLo Green 2010 song |
| | known as "Forget You") in 2012. The |
| | song is a reggae-rock song influenced |
| | by new wave and funk, and its lyrics |
| | are about the rapturous feelings |
| | brought about by a relationship |
| | infused with positive emotion as well |
| | as euphoria from sexual intercourse. |
| | While the song is said by some critics |
| | to have the influences from various |
| | bands, namely, The Police, Mars |
| | himself has stated that he did not set |
| | out to write anything inspired by the |
| | band; instead, it came to him out of |
| | the blue one night during the studio |
| | sessions prior to recording the album, |
| | when he started playing the opening |
| | chords on his guitar, and the next |
| | thing he knew, he "was up there in |
| | Sting-ville". Now that I think about |
| | it, it's kinda odd how a song about |
| | sex got into an E10+-rated game like |
| | F:ME, which is kinda beyond us, IMO. |

One, two, one, two, three

Oh, yeah, yeah,
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
Ooh!
Oh, yeah, yeah,
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
Ooh!

Never had much faith in love or miracles
Ooh!
Never wanna put my heart on the line
Ooh!
But swimming in your water is something spiritual
Ooh!
I'm born again every time you spend the night
Ooh!

'Cause your sex takes me to paradise
Yeah, your sex takes me to paradise
And it shows, yeah, yeah, yeah

'Cause you make me feel like I've been locked out of heaven
For too long, for too long
Yeah, you make me feel like I've been locked out of heaven
For too long, for too long

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
Ooh!
Oh, yeah, yeah,
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
Ooh!

You bring me to my knees, you make me testify
You can make a sinner change his ways
Open up your gates 'cause I can't wait to see the light
And right there is where I wanna stay

'Cause your sex takes me to paradise
Yeah, your sex takes me to paradise
And it shows, yeah, yeah, yeah

'Cause you make me feel like I've been locked out of heaven
For too long, for too long
Yeah, you make me feel like I've been locked out of heaven
For too long, for too long

Oh, oh, oh, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah
Can I just stay here?
Spend the rest of my days here?
Oh, oh, oh, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah
Can't I just stay here?
Spend the rest of my days here?

'Cause you make me feel like I've been locked out of heaven
For too long, for too long
Yeah, you make me feel like I've been locked out of heaven
For too long, for too long

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
Ooh!
Oh, yeah, yeah,
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,

| TRIVIA | "Message in a Bottle" is a song |
| | written by band member Sting in 1979. |
| | According to guitarist Andy Summers, |
| | the guitar riff that the song centered |
| | around was originally used for a |
| | different song. During the band's |
| | first American tour, however, he |
| | reworked the song and slightly altered |
| | the riff, becoming the final version |
| | of the song. In addition to the core |
| | riff, Summers came up with what Sting |
| | described as a "lovely arpeggiated |
| | shiver" during the break prior to the |
| | third verse. Stewart Copeland's drum |
| | track was overdubbed from about six |
| | different parts. The song itself is |
| | about a castaway on an island, who |
| | sends out a message in a bottle in an |
| | effort to seek love; a year later, he |
| | hasn't gotten any response and |
| | despairs, thinking that he is destined |
| | to be alone. The next morning, he |
| | wakes up to find a hundred billion |
| | bottles on the shore and realizes that |
| | there are many people like him out |
| | there. It's amazing that the song is |
| | one of the inspirations for the |
| | aforementioned song by Bruno Mars, |
| | "Locked Out of Heaven" (see above); in |
| | addition, "Message in a Bottle" was |
| | also featured in "Guitar Hero II", |
| | which was also developed by Harmonix |
| | Music Systems. Coincidence? I think |
| | not! :D |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

Just a castaway, an island lost at sea, oh!
Another lonely day, no one here but me, oh.
More loneliness than any man could bear,
Rescue me before I fall into despair, oh.

I'll send an S.O.S. to the world,
I'll send an S.O.S. to the world,
I hope that someone gets my...
I hope that someone gets my...
I hope that someone gets my...
Message in a bottle, yeah.
Message in a bottle, yeah.

A year has passed since I wrote my note,
I should have known this right from the start.
Only hope can keep me together.
Love can mend your life but love can break your heart.

I'll send an S.O.S. to the world,
I'll send an S.O.S. to the world,
I hope that someone gets my...
I hope that someone gets my...
I hope that someone gets my...
Message in a bottle, yeah.
Message in a bottle, yeah.
Message in a bottle, yeah.
Message in a bottle, yeah.

Walked out this morning, don't believe what I saw:
A hundred billion bottles washed up on the shore.
Seems I'm not alone at being alone.
A hundred billion castaways, looking for a home.

Sending out an S.O.S., Sending out an S.O.S.,
I'm sending out an S.O.S., I'm sending out an S.O.S.,
I'm sending out an S.O.S., I'm sending out an S.O.S.,
I'm sending out an S.O.S., I'm sending out an S.O.S.,
I'm sending out an S.O.S., I'm sending out an S.O.S.,
I'm sending out an S.O.S., I'm sending out an S.O.S.,
I'm sending out an S.O.S., I'm sending out an S.O.S.,

| TRIVIA | Believe it or not, "Radioactive" is a |
| | song written and recorded by Imagine |
| | Dragons from 2011-2012. The song |
| | first appeared on their debut EP, |
| | "Continued Silence", where it was |
| | released as a single on April 2, 2012; |
| | and again in their debut studio album, |
| | "Night Visions", where it was heard |
| | again on radio stations on October 29. |
| | Musically, "Radioactive" is an |
| | alt-rock song with elements of |
| | electronic rock and dubstep, and it |
| | contains lyrics of apocalyptic and |
| | revolutionist themes. The song |
| | received acclaim from critics, who |
| | praised the production, lyrics, and |
| | vocals, calling it a highlight on the |
| | album. The song was nominated for the |
| | Grammy Awards for "Record of the Year" |
| | and "Best Rock Performance", winning |
| | only the latter. For a song that made |
| | it onto F:ME, this one is |
| | definitely... how shall I put this... |
| | "radioactive"! :D P.S., I forgot to |
| | tell you that "Weird Al" Yankovic made |
| | a parody of this song called |
| | "Inactive", which is included on his |
| | 2014 album "Mandatory Fun". This is a |
| | bit crazy, if you ask me. :P |

Whoa, oh, oh
Whoa, oh, oh
Whoa, oh, oh
Whoa

I'm waking up to ash and dust
I wipe my brow and I sweat my rust
I'm breathing in the chemicals

I'm breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse
Whoa

I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I'm radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I'm radioactive, radioactive

I raise my flags, don my clothes
It's a revolution, I suppose
We'll paint it red to fit right in
Whoa

I'm breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse
Whoa

I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I'm radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I'm radioactive, radioactive

All systems go, the sun hasn't died
Deep in my bones, straight from inside

I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I'm radioactive, radioactive

| TRIVIA | "The Real Me" is a song written by |
| | Pete Townshend of The Who in 1972 and |
| | included on their second full-scale |
| | rock opera, "Quadrophenia", in 1973. |
| | The song is about a boy named Jimmy, a |
| | British mod with four distinct |
| | personalities, and describes how he |
| | angrily deals with several individuals |
| | to identify the real person in him, |
| | thus the question, "Can you see the |
| | real me?" The song features a |
| | virtuoso bass performance by John |
| | Entwistle; according to a 1996 |
| | interview by Goldmine Magazine, the |
| | bass part was recorded on the first |
| | take, and Entwistle claimed he was |
| | "joking around" when he played the |
| | part, but the band loved it and used |
| | it in the final version. Like "Fire" |
| | by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, "The |
| | Real Me" is an extremely difficult |
| | song to play in F:ME, and I have yet |
| | see both songs in the 100% streak. If |
| | anyone has a video about it, please |
| | let me know, okay? |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

I went back to the doctor
To get another shrink.
I sit and tell him about my weekend,
But he never betrays what he thinks.
Whooo!

Can you see the real me, doctor?
Doctor???
Can you see the real me, doctor?
Ohhhh, doctor!

I went back to my mother.
I said, "I'm crazy, ma, help me."
She said, "I know how it feels, son,
'Cause it runs in the family."

Can you see the real me, mother?
Mother???
Can you see the real me, mother?
Ohh, mother!!!

Can you see...
Can you see...
Can you see the real me?
Can you see...
Can you see the real me, the real me, the real me?

The cracks between the paving stones
Look like rivers of flowing veins.
Strange people who know me
Peeping from behind every window pane.
The girl I used to love
Lives in this yellow house.
Yesterday she passed me by,
She doesn't want to know me now.
Whoa!

Can you see the real me, can ya?
Can ya???
Can you see the real me, can ya?
Whoooa yeah!

I ended up with the preacher,
Full of lies and hate,
I seemed to scare him a little
So he showed me to the golden gate.

Can you see the real me, preacher?
Preacher?
Can you see the real me, preacher?

Can you see...
Can you see...
Can you see...
Whoa!

Can you see the real me, doctor?
Can you see the real me, mother?
Can you see the real me?

| TRIVIA | "Rocket Man" is a song composed by |
| | Elton John and Bernie Taupin and |
| | recocrded at the Chteau d'Hrouville |
| | in Hrouville, France, in January |
| | 1972. The song echoes the theme of |
| | David Bowie's 1969 song "Space Oddity" |
| | (as both recordings were produced by |
| | Gus Dudgeon), but according to an |
| | account in Elizabeth Rosenthal's book |
| | "His Song: The Musical Journey of |
| | Elton John", the song was inspired by |
| | Taupin's sighting of either a shooting |
| | star or a distant airplane; the |
| | account goes on to relate that the |
| | notion of astronauts no longer being |
| | perceived as heroes but in fact an |
| | "everyday occupation" led him to the |
| | song's opening lyrics (shown below). |
| | The song first appeared in the album |
| | "Honky Chteau" and became a hit |
| | single, rising to #2 in the UK and #6 |
| | in the U.S. Not bad for a song about |
| | an astronaut, if I say so myself. |

She packed my bags last night, pre-flight
Zero hour: 9 a.m.
And I'm gonna be high as a kite by then
I miss the earth so much, I miss my wife
It's lonely out in space
On such a timeless flight

And I think it's gonna be a long, long time
Till touchdown brings me 'round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh, no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man, burning out his fuse up here alone

And I think it's gonna be a long, long time
Till touchdown brings me 'round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh, no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man, burning out his fuse up here alone

Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids
In fact, it's cold as hell
And there's no one there to raise them if you did
And all this science I don't understand
It's just my job five days a week
A rocket man, a rocket man

And I think it's gonna be a long, long time
Till touchdown brings me 'round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh, no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man, burning out his fuse up here alone

And I think it's gonna be a long, long time
Till touchdown brings me 'round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh, no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man, burning out his fuse up here alone

And I think it's gonna be a long, long time...
And I think it's gonna be a long, long time...
And I think it's gonna be a long, long time...
And I think it's gonna be a long, long time...
And I think it's gonna be a long, long time...

| | following year. The song lyrically |
| | disapproves of the luxurious lifestyle |
| | of contemporary artists; it was |
| | released as a single on June 3, 2013, |
| | and received acclaim from music |
| | critics, who praised its minimal |
| | production and lyrics. The song also |
| | achieved international success, and |
| | spent nine weeks atop the Billboard |
| | Top 100; in doing so, Lorde became the |
| | first New Zealand solo act to top the |
| | Hot 100, as well as the youngest |
| | artist to achieve a number one single |
| | since 1987. Pretty cool for a song |
| | that should be... how shall I say |
| | it... "royal"! :D P.S., also forgot |
| | to tell you that "Weird Al" Yankovic |
| | made a parody of this song called |
| | "Foil", which, like his "Radioactive" |
| | parody "Inactive", is included on his |
| | 2014 album "Mandatory Fun". Which is |
| | also a bit crazy, if you ask me. :P |

[Verse 1]
I've never seen a diamond in the flesh
I cut my teeth on wedding rings in the movies
And I'm not proud of my address,
In a torn-up town, no postcode envy

But every song's like gold teeth, grey goose, trippin' in the bathroom,
Blood stains, ball gowns, trashin' the hotel room,
We don't care, we're driving Cadillacs in our dreams.
But everybody's like Cristal, Maybach, diamonds on your timepiece,
Jet planes, islands, tigers on a gold leash.
We don't care, we aren't caught up in your love affair.

And we'll never be royals (royals).
It don't run in our blood,
That kind of luxe just ain't for us.
We crave a different kind of buzz.
Let me be your ruler (ruler),
You can call me Queen Bee
And baby I'll rule. (I'll rule, I'll rule, I'll rule.)
Let me live that fantasy.

[Verse 2]
My friends and Iwe've cracked the code.
We count our dollars on the train to the party.
And everyone who knows us knows that we're fine with this,
We didn't come from money.

Ooh ooh oh
We're bigger than we ever dreamed,
And I'm in love with being queen.
Ooh ooh oh
Life is great without a care
We aren't caught up in your love affair.

And we'll never be royals (royals).
It don't run in our blood,
That kind of luxe just ain't for us.
We crave a different kind of buzz.
Let me be your ruler (ruler),
You can call me Queen Bee
And baby I'll rule. (I'll rule, I'll rule, I'll rule.)
Let me live that fantasy.

| TRIVIA | "Settle Down" is a song that was |
| | written and recorded in 2010 by New |
| | Zealand singer/guitarist Kimbra for |
| | her debut 2011 album "Vows". The song |
| | borrows some lyrics from the late 19th |
| | century nursery tune "Star Light, Star |
| | Bright". It was released in New |
| | Zealand on June 6, 2010 as a lead |
| | single from the album, and re-released |
| | on November 1, 2011; it peaked at #37 |

| | on May 22, 2012. As for the song, all |
| | I can say is that there are no words |
| | to describe how good "Settle Down" |
| | truly is. |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

I wanna settle down
I wanna settle down
Won't you settle down with me?
Settle down

We can settle at a table
A table for two
Won't you wine and dine with me?
Settle down

I wanna raise a child
I wanna raise a child
Won't you raise a child with me?
Raise a child

We'll call her Nebraska
Nebraska Jones
She'll have your nose
Just so you know

I wanna settle down
I wanna settle down
Won't you settle down with me?
Settle down

Run from Angela Vickers
I saw her with you
Monday morning small talking on the avenue
She's got a fancy car
She wants to take you far
From the city lights and sounds deep into the dark

Star so light and star so bright
First star I see tonight!
Star so light and star so bright
Keep him by side!

I wanna settle down
I wanna settle down
Baby there's no need to run
I'll love you well
I wanna settle down
It's time to bring you down
On just one knee for now
Let's make our vows

Star so light and star so bright
First star I see tonight!
Star so light and star so bright
Keep him by side!

| TRIVIA | "Seven Nation Army" is a song written |
| | and produced by Jack White of The |
| | White Stripes in 2002. The song's |
| | title comes from the name that Jack |
| | used to call The Salvation Army as a |
| | child. (For those not in the know, The |
| | Salvation Army is a Christian |
| | denominational church and an |
| | international charitable organization |
| | structured in a quasi-military fashion |
| | and founded in 1865 in London by one- |
| | time Methodist circuit-preacher |
| | William Booth.) The song is known for |
| | its underlying riff; although it |
| | sounds like a bass guitar, the sound |
| | is actually created by running Jack |
| | White's semi-acoustic, 1950s-style Kay |
| | Hollowbody guitar through a DigiTech |
| | Whammy pedal set down an octave. A |
| | combination of the song's popularity, |
| | recognizable riff, and military lyrics |
| | led to it becoming the band's |
| | signature song, which has been used |
| | widely at sporting events and |
| | political protests internationally. |
| | For a song that was well-received and |
| | won a 2004 Grammy Award for "Best Rock |
| | Song", "Seven Nation Army" is a |
| | powerful song indeed, and one not to |
| | be taken lightly in F:ME. |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

I'm gonna fight 'em off
A seven nation army couldn't hold me back
They're gonna rip it off
Taking their time right behind my back
And I'm talkin' to myself at night
Because I can't forget
Back and forth through my mind
Behind a cigarette

And the message comin' from my eyes says, "Leave it alone."

Don't wanna hear about it
Every single one's got a story to tell
Everyone knows about it
From the Queen of England to the hounds of hell
And if I catch it comin' back my way
I'm gonna serve it to you
And that ain't what you want to hear
But that's what I'll do

And the feeling comin' from my bones says, "Find a home."

I'm going to Wichita
Far from this opera for evermore
I'm gonna work the straw
Make the sweat drip out of every pore
And I'm bleeding, and I'm bleeding, and I'm bleeding
Right before the Lord
All the words are gonna bleed from me
And I will think no more

And the stains comin' from my blood tell me, "Go back home."

+-----------------+----------------------------------------+
| TRIVIA | "Some Nights" is a song written by |
| | U.S. indie rock band Fun. and recorded |
| | in 2011. Musically, the song has |
| | strong, festive elements of power pop |
| | and afrobeat and influences from folk |
| | rock. A line in the lyrics, "this is |
| | it, boys, this is war," recalls the |
| | English version of Nena's 1983 hit "99 |
| | Luftballons". "Some Nights" lyrically |
| | expresses the existential angst of a |
| | young protagonist who is far away from |
| | home. The song has received acclaim |
| | from music critics, who have noted |
| | significant similarities between this |
| | and Simon & Garfunkel's 1970 song |
| | "Cecilia". What a pretty odd song to |
| | make it onto the game, if I say so |
| | myself. |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

Some nights I stay up cashing in my bad luck
Some nights I call it a draw
Some nights I wish that my lips could build a castle
Some nights I wish they'd just fall off

But I still wake up, I still see your ghost
Oh, Lord, I'm still not sure what I stand for, oh
Whoa oh oh (What do I stand for?)
Whoa oh oh (What do I stand for?)
Most nights I don't know anymore...
Oh, whoa, oh, whoa, oh, whoa, oh, oh,
Oh, whoa, oh, whoa, oh, whoa, oh, oh

This is it, boys, this is war - what are we waiting for?
Why don't we break the rules already?
I was never one to believe the hype
Save that for the black and white
I try twice as hard and I'm half as liked,
But here they come again to jack my style

That's alright (that's alright)
I found a martyr in my bed tonight
She stops my bones from wondering just who I am, who I am, who I am
Oh, who am I? Mmm... Mmm...

Well, some nights I wish that this all would end
'Cause I could use some friends for a change.
And some nights I'm scared you'll forget me again
Some nights I always win, I always win...

But I still wake up, I still see your ghost
Oh, Lord, I'm still not sure what I stand for, oh
Whoa oh oh (What do I stand for?)
Whoa oh oh (What do I stand for?)
Most nights I don't know... (oh, come on)

So this is it. I sold my soul for this?
Washed my hands of that for this?
I miss my mom and dad for this?

(Come on)

No. When I see stars, when I see, when I see stars, that's all they are
When I hear songs, they sound like a swan, so come on.
Oh, come on. Oh, come on. Oh, come on!

Well, that is it, guys, that is all - five minutes in and I'm bored again
Ten years of this, I'm not sure if anybody understands
This one is not for the folks at home;
Sorry to leave, mom, I had to go
Who the heck wants to die alone all dried up in the desert sun?

My heart is breaking for my sister and the con that she called "love"
When I look into my nephew's eyes...
Man, you wouldn't believe the most amazing things that can come from...
Some terrible nights... ah...

Oh, whoa, oh, whoa, oh, whoa, oh, oh,
Oh, whoa, oh, whoa, oh, whoa, oh, oh

The other night you wouldn't believe the dream I just had about you and me
I called you up but we'd both agree

It's for the best you didn't listen
It's for the best we get our distance... Oh...
It's for the best you didn't listen
It's for the best we get our distance... Oh...

| TRIVIA | "Super Bass" is a song that is |
| | co-written by Nicki Minaj, Ester Dean, |
| | Roahn Hylton, and Daniel "Kane Beatz" |
| | Johnson, who produced the song |
| | alongside JMIKE between 2009 and 2010. |
| | According to Minaj, the song describes |
| | a story of playful romance between a |
| | male and a female. "Super Bass" |
| | utilizes electronic music and pop in |
| | its composition and infuses elements |
| | of J-pop combines with an upbeat hook, |
| | while Minaj raps over a hip hop beat |
| | in a vocal that has been described as |
| | "breathy"; the song also uses a busy |
| | beat that is interspersed with digital |
| | raindrop sound effects and strong |
| | bass. How a song so suggestive and |

This one is for the boys with the booming system
Top down, AC with the cooling system

He pop bottles and he got the right kind of bill
He cold, he dope, he might sell coke
He always in the air, but he never fly coach

Can't you hear that boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass?
You got that super bass
Boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass
Yeah, that's the super bass
(Boom) [x15]
(You got that super bass)
Boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass
He got that super bass
Boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass
He got that super bass

[Bridge]
See I need you in my life for me to stay
No, no, no, no, no, I know you'll stay
No, no, no, no, no, don't go away (ay-ay)
Boy, you got my heartbeat runnin' away
Don't you hear that heartbeat comin' your way?
Oh, it be like, boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass
Can't you hear that boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass?

[Chorus Ester Dean & Nicki Minaj:]
Boy, you got my heartbeat runnin' away
Beating like a drum and it's coming your way
Can't you hear that boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass?
You got that super bass
Boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass
Yeah, that's the super bass

| TRIVIA | "Take Care" is a song written by |
| | Canadian rapper Drake, Noah Shebib, |
| | Anthony Palman and Jamie xx in 2011. |
| | The song features guest vocals from |
| | Barbadian recording artist Rihanna and |
| | samples Jamie xx's remix of Gil Scott- |
| | Heron's cover song "I'll Take Care of |
| | You", written by Brook Benton and |
| | recorded by Bobby Bland in 1959; |
| | permission and license granted by XL |
| | Recordings. The song is about a |
| | couple in a relationship acknowledging |
| | they have been hurt in their past but |
| | will look after one another. "Take |
| | Care" was met with critical acclaim |
| | from music critics, many of whom |
| | praised Rihanna's inclusion in the |
| | song, as well as her vocal |
| | performance; the song was also a |
| | successful commercial hit, reaching #7 |
| | on the Billboard Hot 100. It's no |
| | wonder that the song made it into a |
| | video game like this one, if I say so |
| | myself. :) |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

[Rihanna]
I know youve been hurt by someone else
I can tell by the way you carry yourself
If you let me, heres what Ill do
Ill take care of you
Ive loved and Ive lost

[Drake: Verse 1]
Ive asked about you and they told me things
But my mind didnt change
And I still feel the same
What's a life with no fun? Please dont be so ashamed
Ive had mine, youve had yours, we both know
We know, they dont get you like I will
My only wish is I die real
Cause that truth hurts, and those lies heal
And you cant sleep thinking that he lies still
So you cry still, tears all in the pillow case
Big girls all get a little taste, ah
Pushing me away so I give her space, ah
Dealing with a heart that I didnt break
Ill be there for you, I will care for you
I keep thinking you just dont know
Trying to run from that, say youre done with that
On your face girl, it just dont show
When youre ready, just say youre ready
When all the baggage just aint as heavy
And the party's over, just dont forget me
Well change the pace and we'll just go slow

You wont ever have to worry,
You wont ever have to hide
You've seen all my mistakes
So look me in my eyes

[Rihanna]
Cause if you let me, heres what Ill do
Ill take care of you
Ive loved and Ive lost

[Drake: Verse 2]
Yeah
Its my birthday, Ill get high if I want to
Cant deny that I want you, but Ill lie if I have to
Cause you dont say you love me
To your friends when they ask you
Even though we both know that you do (you do)
One time, been in love one time
You and all your girls in the club one time
All so convinced that youre following your heart
Cause your mind dont control what it does sometimes
We all have our nights though, dont be so ashamed
Ive had mine, youve had yours, we both know
We know, you hate being alone
You aint the only one
You hate the fact that you bought the dream
And they sold you one
You love your friends but somebody shoulda told you somethin to save you
Instead they say,
Dont tell me, I dont care
If you hurt, I dont tell you
You dont care, if youre true

Dont tell me, I dont care
If you hurt, I dont tell you
You dont care, if youre true

[Rihanna]
I know youve been hurt by someone else
I can tell by the way you carry yourself
If you let me, heres what Ill do
Ill take care of you
Ive loved and Ive lost

| TRIVIA | "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, Pt. |
| | 1" is a song written by The Flaming |
| | Lips and recorded from 2000-2002. |
| | Believe it or not, the song is a part |
| | of a 2002 album called "Yoshimi |
| | Battles the Pink Robots", in which the |
| | lyrics concern a diverse array of |
| | subject matter, mostly melancholy |
| | ponderings about love, mortality, |
| | artificial emotion, pacifism, and |
| | deception, while telling the story of |
| | Yoshimi's battle. The title character |
| | is believed to be an allusion to |
| | Boredoms/OOIOO member Yoshimi P-We, |
| | who also performs on the album. |
| | Despite the story-type title and |
| | sci-fi themes of the album, frontman |
| | Wayne Coyman has made it clear that |
| | "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" is |
| | not intended to be a concept album. |
| | The album was made into a musical ten |
| | years later; as for the song itself, |
| | it was featured, along with "Bohemian |
| | Rhapsody", in the 2010 video game |
| | "Rock Band 3", also developed by |
| | Harmonix Music Systems, the same team |
| | that also developed F:ME and "Guitar |
| | Hero II". This is really crazy! |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

Her name is Yoshimi - she's a black belt in karate
Working for the city - she has to discipline her body
'Cause she knows that it's demanding
To defeat those evil machines
I know she can beat them

Oh Yoshimi
They don't believe me
But you won't let those
Robots eat me
Yoshimi
They don't believe me
But you won't let those
Robots defeat me

Those evil-natured robots - they're programmed to destroy us
She's gotta be strong to fight them - so she's taking lots of vitamins
'Cause she knows that it'd be tragic
If those evil robots win
I know she can beat them

Oh Yoshimi
They don't believe me
But you won't let those
Robots defeat me
Yoshimi
They don't believe me
But you won't let those
Robots eat me
Yoshimi

'Cause she knows that it'd be tragic
If those evil robots win, yeah
I know she can beat them

Oh Yoshimi
They don't believe me
But you won't let those
Robots defeat me
Yoshimi
They don't believe me
But you won't let those
Robots defeat me

Yoshimi
They don't believe me
But you won't let those
Robots eat me
Yoshimi
They don't believe me
But you won't let those
Robots eat me

| TRIVIA | "Ziggy Stardust" is a song written and |
| | recorded by David Bowie in 1971. The |
| | title of the song is derived from the |
| | name of "Stardust", which was inspired |

| | Greatest Songs of All Time". It has |
| | become one of Ziggy Marley's favorite |
| | songs as a boy, which is why he got |
| | the name from the song. "Ziggy |

| | developed by Harmonix and released in |
| | 2005. So many Harmonix games! Maybe |
| | we are as crazy as Ziggy Stardust! :D |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

Ziggy played guitar, jamming good with Weird and Gilly,
And The Spiders from Mars.
He played it left hand, but made it too far,
Became the special man,
Then we were Ziggy's Band.

Ziggy really sang, screwed up eyes and screwed down hairdo
Like some cat from Japan, he could lick 'em by smiling
He could leave 'em to hang
Here came on so loaded man, well hung and snow white tan.

So where were the spiders while the fly tried to break [...]?
Just the beer light to guide us.
So we [...] about his fans and should we crush his sweet hands?

Ziggy played for time, jiving us that we were Voodoo
The kids were just crass,
He was the naz
With God given [...]
He took it all too far
But boy could he play guitar.

Making love with his ego Ziggy sucked up into his mind
Like a leper messiah
When the kids had killed the man
I had to break up the band

Ziggy played guitar

| TRIVIA | "As Long as You Love Me" is a song |
| | written by Canadian recording artist |
| | Justin Bieber and U.S. rapper Big Sean |
| | with Nasri Atweh, and produced by |
| | Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins and Andre |
| | Lindal. The song was first released |
| | on June 11, 2012, as a promotional |
| | single from the album "Believe", and |
| | then one month later as its second |
| | single. The song lyrically tells |
| | listeners that true love can defy all |
| | circumstances and the obstacles it can |
| | overcome, while Big Sean's rap verse |
| | also exalts a lady love. The song was |
| | met with mixed reception, with some |
| | critics calling it "a dubstep love |
| | song", "plaintive and still |
| | unmistakably teenage", "a massive yet |
| | somehow intimate dance track", and "a |
| | gauche mishmash of All Around the |

| | spewing that should probably never be |
| | uttered by an 18-year-old with his own |
| | Batmobile". Well, it doesn't matter |
| | what these critics say, as long as we |
| | still love the song. :) |

As long as you love me
As long as you love me
As long as you love me

We're under pressure,
Seven billion people in the world trying to fit in
Keep it together,
Smile on your face even though your heart is frowning (frowning)
But hey now (hey now), you know, girl (know girl),
We both know it's a cruel world
But I will take my chances

As long as you love me
We could be starving, we could be homeless, we could be broke
As long as you love me
I'll be your platinum, I'll be your silver, I'll be your gold
As long as you lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-love me (love me)
As long as you lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-love me (love me)

I'll be your soldier,
Fighting every second of the day for your dreams, girl
I'll be your Hova
You could be my Destiny's Child on the scene, girl
So don't stress (don't stress), don't cry (don't cry),
We don't need no wings to fly
Just take my hand

As long as you love me
We could be starving, we could be homeless, we could be broke
As long as you love me
I'll be your platinum, I'll be your silver, I'll be your gold
As long as you lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-love me (love me)
As long as you lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-love me (love me)

[Big Sean]
Yo, B-I-G
I don't know if this makes sense, but you're my hallelujah
Give me a time and place, and I'll rendezvous it, I'll fly you to it,
I'll beat you there
Girl you know I got you
Us, trust...
A couple of things I can't spell without 'U'
Now we are on top of the world, 'cause that's just how we do (do it)
Used to tell me, "Sky's the limit", now the sky's our point of view (view)
Man now we stepping out like, "Whoa" (Oh God)
Cameras point and shoot (shoot)
Ask me what's my best side, I stand back and point at you
You, you the one that I argue with,
I feel like I need a new girl to be bothered with,
But the grass ain't always greener on the other side,
It's green where you water it
So I know we got issues baby true, true, true,
But I'd rather work on this with you
Than to go ahead and start with someone new
As long as you love me

As long as you love me (love me yeah yeah yeah)
We could be starving, we could be homeless, we could be broke
As long as you love me
I'll be your platinum (platinum), I'll be your silver, I'll be your gold
As long as you lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-love me
As long as you lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-love me
As long as you lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-love me
(I'll be your silver, I'll be your gold)
As long as you lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-love
As long as you love, love, love, love me
As long as you love me (that's all I want baby)
As long as you love, love, love, love me
As long as you love, love, love, love me (please don't go)
As long as you love me

| | that was written by British recording |
| | artist Leona Lewis and co-written by |
| | fellow British recording artist Ellie |
| | Goulding, Ryan Tedder, Greg Kurstin, |
| | Noel Zancanella, and Brent Kutzle in |
| | 2012. The song was originally |
| | recorded for Lewis' 2012 studio album, |
| | "Glassheart", but ultimately scrapped |
| | from the final track listing when the |
| | album was redesigned to include more |
| | ballads. The song ended up on |
| | Goulding's 2013 album, "Halcyon Days", |
| | which is a reissue of her 2012 studio |
| | album, "Halcyon". The song was met |
| | with mixed reception by music critics, |
| | some of whom praised it as "catchy", |
| | while others felt that it was not |
| | memorable. Jacques Peterson of |
| | Popdust has stated, "While Ellie's |
| | 'Burn' is a little more indie-pop |
| | sounding, Leona's breaks into |
| | derivative tropical synths on the |
| | second verse in an obvious attempt to |
| | match the Stargate sound that was such |
| | a popular radio staple a few years |
| | ago." "Burn" was nominated for |
| | British Single of the Year and British |
| | Video of the Year at the 2014 Brit |
| | Awards. Well, I couldn't have said |
| | anything better of the song myself. |

We, we don't have to worry 'bout nothing
'Cause we got the fire, and we're burning one hell of a something
They, they gonna see us from outer space, outer space
Light it up, like we're the stars of the human race, human race

When the light started out they dont know what they heard
Strike the match, play it loud, giving love to the world
We'll be raising our hands, shining up to the sky
'Cause we got the fire, fire, fire
Yeah we got the fire, fire, fire

And we gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn
We gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn
Gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn
We gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn

We don't wanna leave, no. We just wanna be right now (right), r-r-right now
And what we see is everybody's on the floor acting crazy,
Getting loco 'til the lights out
Music's on, I'm waking up, we fight the fire, then we burn it up
And it's over now, we got the love,
There's no sleeping now, no sleeping now (no sleeping)

When the light started out they dont know what they heard
Strike the match, play it loud, giving love to the world
We'll be raising our hands, shining up to the sky
'Cause we got the fire, fire, fire
Yeah we got the fire, fire, fire

And we gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn
We gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn
Gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn
We gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn

When the light started out they dont know what they heard
Strike the match, play it loud, giving love to the world

We gonna let it burn burn burn burn (burn burn)
Burn burn burn burn (burn burn)

We can light it up, up, up
So they can't put it out, out, out
We can light it up, up, up
So they can't put it out, out, out
We can light it up, up, up
So they can't put it out, out, out
We can light it up, up, up
So they can't put it out, out, out

When the light started out they dont know what they heard
Strike the match, play it loud, giving love to the world
We'll be raising our hands, shining up to the sky
'Cause we got the fire, fire, fire
Yeah we got the fire, fire, fire

Strike the match, play it loud, giving love to the world
We'll be raising our hands, shining up to the sky

| TRIVIA | "Burning Down the House" is a song |
| | written by Talking Heads and recorded |
| | in 1982. According to bassist Tina |
| | Weyworth, drummer Chris Frantz had |
| | just been to see Parliament-Funkadelic |
| | in its full glory at Madison Square |
| | Garden, and he was so hyped that |
| | during the jam he kept yelling, |
| | "Burning down the house!", which was a |
| | P-Funk audience chant, and David Byrne |
| | liked the line, changing it to the |
| | finished version. The initial lyrics |
| | were considerably different, however, |
| | as in an interview on NPR's "All |
| | Things Considered" (which aired on |
| | December 2, 1984), Byrne played |
| | excerpts of early worktapes showing |
| | how the song had evolved from an |
| | instrumental jam by Weymouth and |
| | Frantz; once the whole band had |
| | reworked the groove into something |
| | resembling the final recording, Byrne |
| | began chanting nonsense syllables over |
| | the music until he arrived at the |
| | phrasing that fit with the rhythms, a |
| | technique influenced by former |
| | producer Brian Eno. "Burning Down the |
| | House" was later put on Clear |
| | Channel's list of possibly |
| | inappropriate songs after the attacks |
| | of September 11, 2001. Well, you know |
| | what they say: "Fight fire with fire", |
| | I suppose. |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

Watch out, you might get what you're after
Cool, babies, strange but not a stranger
I'm an ordinary guy
Burning down the house

Hold tight, wait till the party's over
Hold tight, we're in for nasty weather
There has got to be a way
Burning down the house

Here's your ticket, pack your bag: time for jumpin' overboard
The transportation is here
Close enough but not too far, maybe you know where you are
Fightin' fire with fire

All wet, hey, you might need a raincoat
Shakedown, dreams walking in broad daylight
Three hundred sixty five degrees
Burning down the house

It was once upon a place sometimes I listen to myself
Gonna come in first place
People on their way to work, baby, what did you expect
Gonna burst into flame

Burning down the house

My house is out of the ordinary
That's right, don't want to hurt nobody
Some things sure can sweep me off my feet
Burning down the house

No visible means of support and you have not seen nothin' yet
Everything's stuck together
I don't know what you expect staring into the TV set
Fighting fire with fire

| TRIVIA | "Closer" is a song written and |
| | produced by Ne-Yo and Stargate in |
| | 2008. According to Ne-Yo, the song |
| | was "very much inspired by just the |
| | vibe of some of these house and techno |
| | clubs we went to while we were in |
| | London. You know, kinda smoky, kinda |
| | dark and mysterious... With just that |
| | constant, four-on-the-floor house beat |
| | that just relly gets bashed into your |
| | skull the whole time you're there, by |
| | the way the music makes you feel." |
| | The song lyrically describes a man who |
| | has an urging attraction to a woman he |
| | sees, having the desire to "come |
| | closer" to her, and the attraction |
| | becomes stronger and almost hypnotic. |
| | "Closer" was used in a commercial for |
| | Overstock.com in early 2008, and also |
| | featured in episodes of "Gossip Girl" |
| | and "90210"; it also reached #1 in the |
| | UK Pop Charts. Not a bad song at all, |
| | if I say so myself. |

Closer
Closer
Closer
Closer

Turn the lights off in this place
And she shines just like a star
And I swear I know her face
I just don't know who you are
Turn the music up in here
I still hear her loud and clear
Like she's right there in my ear
Telling me that she wants to own me
To control me
Come closer
(Come closer)
Come closer

And I just can't pull myself away
Under her spell I can't break
I just can't stop
I just can't stop
I just can't stop
I just can't stop
And I just can't bring myself, no way
But I don't want to escape
I just can't stop
I just can't stop
I just can't stop
I just can't stop

I can feel her on my skin
I can taste her on my tongue
She's the sweetest taste of sin
The more I get the more I want
She wants to own me
"Come closer"
She says "Come closer"

And I just can't pull myself away
Under her spell I can't break
I just can't stop
I just can't stop
I just can't stop
I just can't stop
And I just can't bring myself, no way
But I don't want to escape
I just can't stop
I just can't stop
I just can't stop
I just can't stop

Come closer
Come closer
Come closer
Come closer
Come closer
Come closer
Come closer

I just can't stop, no
I just can't stop, no
I just can't stop, no
I just can't stop, no

And I just can't pull myself away
Under her spell I can't break
I just can't stop
I just can't stop
I just can't stop
I just can't stop
And I just can't bring myself, no way
But I don't want to escape
I just can't stop
I just can't stop
I just can't stop
I just can't stop

And I just can't pull myself away
Under her spell I can't break

| TRIVIA | "Counting Stars" is a song written by |
| | OneRepublic's lead singer Ryan Tedder |
| | and produced by Tedder and Noel |
| | Zancanella in 2012. Tedder started |
| | writing the song while waiting for |
| | Beyonc Knowles to turn up for a |
| | studio session, about a month after |
| | starting to write "Love Runs Out". He |
| | debated playing the song for Beyonc |
| | and putting it forward for her album, |
| | but it didn't feel like a song that |
| | she would record, so he immediately |
| | came up with the chorus idea, came |
| | home and finished the song. "Counting |
| | Stars" has been one of the band's most |
| | successful singles, reaching #1 in |
| | many countries including Canada and |
| | the UK, #2 in the U.S., and the top |
| | ten in 20 countries. It feels like |
| | the song has been counting blessings, |
| | doesn't it? |

Lately I've been, I've been losing sleep
Dreaming about the things that we could be
But, baby I've been, I've been praying hard
Said no more counting dollars, we'll be counting stars
Yeah, we'll be counting stars

[Verse 1:]
I see this life like a swinging vine,
Swing my heart across the line
In my face is flashing signs,
Seek it out and ye shall find.

Old but I'm not that old
Young but I'm not that bold
And I don't think the world is sold
I'm just doing what we're told

And I feel something so right by doing the wrong thing
And I feel something so wrong by doing the right thing

I could lie, couldn't I, couldn't I?
Every thing that kills me makes me feel alive.

[Chorus:]
Lately I've been, I've been losing sleep
Dreaming about the things that we could be
But, baby I've been, I've been praying hard
Said no more counting dollars, we'll be counting stars
Lately I've been, I've been losing sleep
Dreaming about the things that we could be
But, baby I've been, I've been praying hard
Said no more counting dollars, we'll bewe'll be counting stars

[Verse 2:]
Baby.
I feel her love and
And I feel it burn down this river every time
Hope is our four-letter word, make that money watch it burn

Old but I'm not that old
Young but I'm not that bold
And I don't think the world is sold
I'm just doing what we're told

And I feel something so wrong by doing the right thing
I could lie, couldn't I, couldn't I?
Everything that drowns me makes me wanna fly

Oh, take that money watch it burn,
Sing in the river the lessons I learned
Take that money watch it burn,
Sing in the river the lessons I learned
Take that money watch it burn,
Sing in the river the lessons I learned
Take that money watch it burn,
Sing in the river the lessons I learned

Everything that kills me makes me feel alive

[Chorus:]
Lately I've been, I've been losing sleep

| TRIVIA | In case you didn't know, "DONE." is a |
| | song written and recorded by country |
| | music group The Band Perry. It is |

| | wrote the song with John Davidson and |
| | Jacob Bryant; the song lyrically tells |

| | former lover, stating that she is done |

| | in 'uptempo' while Kimberly Perry |
| | delivers a vocal that's all attitude |
| | and sass." The song was nominated for |
| | "Choice Music: Break-Up Song" at the |
| | 2013 Teen Choice Awards, though it |
| | lost to "Come and Get It" by Selena |
| | Gomez. I don't mind saying this, but |
| | seeing that "DONE." is the only |
| | country song featured as a DLC on |
| | F:ME, who could ask for more? :) |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

You've been wearing that crown and tearing me down
It's been a while since you've treated me right
You strung me along for far too long 'cause I never gave up the fight
Until now

It's gonna hit you hard 'til you see stars
It's gonna put you through a world of hurt
Oh, I don't believe in getting even but giving what you deserve
Oh my, oh my, huh.

Mama always told me that I should play nice
She didn't know you when she gave me that advice
I'm through with you
You're one bridge I'd like to burn
Bottle up the ashes, smash the urn
I'm through with you, la dee da

I don't wanna be your "just for fun",
Don't wanna be under your thumb
All I wanna be is done
Done

You crossed the line too many times,
I'm gonna put you in your place
You play with dynamite, don't be surprised
When I blow up in your face
Oh my, oh my, huh.

Mama always told me that I should play nice
But she didn't know you when she gave me that advice
I'm through with you
You're one bridge I'd like to burn
Bottle up the ashes, smash the urn
I'm through with you, la dee da

I don't wanna be part of your fun,
Don't wanna be under your thumb
All I wanna be is done

(Done) with your selfish ways
(Done) and all the games you play
I'm through with you and everything you say

Ta!

Mama told me that I should play nice
She didn't know you when she gave me that advice

Mama always told me that I should play nice
But she didn't know you when she gave me that advice
I'm through with you
You're one bridge I'd like to burn
Scatter the ashes, smash the urn
I'm through with you, la dee da

I don't wanna be your "just for fun",
Don't wanna be under your thumb
All I wanna be is done
All I wanna be is done
Ugh!

Hey, hey, hey, hey ooh,
I wanna be done (so done)
So done (so done)
So done

| TRIVIA | "The Edge of Glory" is a song written |
| | by Lady Gaga, Fernando Garibay, and |
| | Paul Blair, and produced by Gaga and |
| | Garibay in 2010. According to Gaga, |
| | the song's lyrical inspiration came |
| | the death of her grandfather in |
| | September 2010; the lyrics themselves |
| | describe a story about a person living |
| | their final moments on earth and |
| | wanting to feel their love for one |
| | another once more before they pass on |
| | to the next life, and they are looking |
| | at life directly with the feeling that |
| | they are a champion, like the emotion |
| | displayed by Rocky Balboa in the 1976 |
| | Sylvester Stallone film "Rocky", which |
| | the song also inspires. Alongside a |
| | saxophone solo played by Clarence |
| | Clemons, the song's melody resembles |
| | that of Bruce Springsteen's musical |
| | works and contains several qualities |
| | similar to that of 1980s adult |
| | contemporary musical works. A music |
| | video for the song, filmed in late May |
| | 2011, shows Gaga dancing on a fire |
| | escape and walking down a lonely |
| | street. Many music critics praised |
| | both the song and the video: the song, |
| | because of the chorus and musical |
| | production and because of her lyrics, |
| | which have been described as |
| | "soulful"; and the video, because it |
| | is similar to the works of Madonna, |
| | Janet Jackson, and her brother, the |
| | late Michael Jackson. What a |
| | beautiful, heartbreaking song that |
| | should be treated as an homage to our |
| | departed loved ones whose lives are |
| | lived to the full, especially in a |
| | game like F:ME. *sniff* |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

There ain't no reason you and me should be alone
Tonight, yeah, baby! Tonight, yeah, baby!
I've got a reason that you're who should take me home tonight
I need a man that thinks it's right when it's so wrong
Tonight, yeah, baby! Tonight, yeah, baby!
Right on the limits where we know we both belong tonight

[Bridge:]
It's hard to feel the rush, to brush the dangerous
I'm gonna run right to, to the edge with you
Where we can both fall far in love

[Chorus:]
I'm on the edge of glory, and I'm hanging on a moment of truth
Out on the edge of glory, and I'm hanging on a moment with you
I'm on the edge, the edge, the edge, the edge, the edge, the edge, the edge,
I'm on the edge of glory, and I'm hanging on a moment with you
I'm on the edge with you.

Another shot before we kiss the other side
Tonight, yeah, baby! Tonight, yeah, baby!
I'm on the edge of something final we call life tonight
(Alright! Alright!)
Put on your shades, 'cause I'll be dancing in the flames
Tonight, yeah, baby! Tonight, yeah, baby!
It isn't hell if everybody knows my name tonight
(Alright! Alright!)

[Saxophone solo starts playing]

I'm on the edge with you.
I'm on the edge with you.

[Saxophone solo continues]

I'm on the edge with you (with you, with you, with you, with you, with you)
I'm on the edge with you (with you, with you, with you, with you, with you)
I'm on the edge with you (with you, with you, with you, with you, with you)
I'm on the edge with you (with you, with you, with you, with you, with you)

| TRIVIA | "I Cry" is a song that was written by |
| | hip hop artist Flo Rida, The |
| | Futuristics, Scott Cutler, Jeffrey |
| | Hull, Brenda Russell, and French |
| | production duo soFLY & Nius in 2012. |
| | The song is based on Bingo Players' |
| | "Cry (Just a Little)", which samples |
| | "Piano in the Dark" by Brenda Russell. |
| | "I Cry" was met with mixed reception, |
| | with The Independent calling it a |
| | "galloping groove", AbsolutePunk |
| | calling it a "decent dance cut", |
| | Entertainment Weekly saying that "it |
| | has all the emotional heft of an LMFAO |
| | track", and Digital Spy calling it |
| | "sheer laziness", with Flo "wax[ing] |
| | the usual lyrical nonsense about |
| | champagne buckets and his tattoo of |
| | Jimi Hendrix." Well, we don't care |
| | how negative the song may look, but |
| | seeing that it is listed in F:ME as a |
| | DLC, that's just good enough for us. |

I know
Caught up in the middle
I cry just a little
When I think of letting go
Oh no
Gave up on the riddle
I cry just a little
When I think of letting go

I know you wanna get behind the wheel but only one Rida
Eyes shut still got me swimming like a diver
Can't let go I got fans in Okinawa
My heart to Japan quake losers and survivors
Norway, no, you didn't get my flowers
No way to say it better but the killer was a coward
Face just showered, the minute in a hour
Heard about the news all day went sour
Bitter moments got me feeling like a lemon here
Put you in the box just as poisonous as a cigarette
Send my regards or regardless I get arrested
Ain't worried about the killers just the young and restless
Get mad 'cause the quarter million on my necklace
DUI never said I was driving reckless
You and I know that jealously is not oppressive
Oh no I can't stop I was destined

I know
Caught in the middle
I cry just a little
When I think of letting go
Oh no
Gave up on the riddle
I cry just a little
When I think of letting go, go, go, go

I know
Caught in the middle
I cry just a little
When I think of letting go
Oh no
Gave up on the riddle
I cry just a little
When I think of letting go

Champagne buckets still got two tears in it
And I put that on my tattoo of Jimi Hendrix
Get depressed leather outfit all in it
'Cause the press tell it all get a meal ticket
Clean next get in the car just a little visit
Sacrifice just to make a hit still vivid
Rihanna kiss you blessed just kill critics
Bugatti never mean I'm rich, just God fearing
Look at me steering, got no boss staring
Got a good feeling
Mr. Mike Caren, tell his Billie Jeans
I'm on another planet
Thank E-Class, Big Chuck or Lee Prince Perries
Buy my momma chandeliers on my tears dammit
Thirty years you had thought these emotions vanish
Tryna live, tryna figure how your sister vanish
No cheers, I know you wouldn't panic

I know
Caught up in the middle
I cry just a little
When I think of letting go
Oh no
Gave up on the riddle
I cry just a little
When I think of letting go, go, go, go

I know
Caught in the middle
I cry just a little
When I think of letting go
Oh no
Gave up on the riddle
I cry just a little
When I think of letting go

When I need a healing
I just look up to the ceiling
I see the sun coming down
I know it's all better now [x4]

I know, I know, I know, I know, I, I, I, I think of letting go, go, go, go

I know
Caught in the middle
I cry just a little
When I think of letting go
Oh no
Gave up on the riddle
I cry just a little
When I think of letting go

I know
Caught in the middle
I cry just a little
When I think of letting go
Oh no
Gave up on the riddle
I cry just a little
When I think of letting go

| TRIVIA | "It's the End of the World as We Know |
| | It (And I Feel Fine)" is a song |
| | written by R.E.M. and recorded in |
| | 1987. The song originated from a |
| | previously unreleased song called |
| | "PSA" (or "Public Service |
| | Announcement"), whose song is similar |
| | in melody and tempo as the former; |
| | "PSA" was later released as a single |
| | in 2003 under the title "Bad Day". |
| | "ItEotWaWKIAIFF" itself is in the |
| | tradition of Bob Dylan's song |
| | "Subterranean Homesick Blues", and is |
| | known for its quick-flying, seemingly |
| | stream-of-consciousness rant with a |
| | number of diverse references, |
| | including a quartet of indviduals with |
| | the initials "L.B.": Leonard |
| | Bernstein, Leonid Brezhnev, Lenny |
| | Bruce, and Lester Bangs (the "L.B." |
| | references were claimed by singer |
| | Michael Stipe to be from a dream he |
| | had in which he found himself at a |
| | party surrounded by famous people who |
| | all shared these initials). The song |
| | reached #69 in the U.S. Billboard Hot |
| | 100, and later #39 in the UK singles |
| | chart when it was rereleased in |
| | December 1991. This is pretty odd for |
| | a DLC to be included in a rhythm game |
| | like this one. :S |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

That's great, it starts with an earthquake
Birds and snakes, an aeroplane, and Lenny Bruce is not afraid

Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn
World serves its own needs, don't misserve your own needs
Feed it up a knock, speed, grunt, no, strength
The ladder starts to clatter with a fear of height, down, height
Wire in a fire, represent the seven games
And a government for hire and a combat site
Left her, wasn't coming in a hurry with the Furies breathing down your neck

Team by team, reporters baffled, trumped, tethered, cropped
Look at that low plane, fine, then
Uh-oh, overflow, population, common group
But it'll do, save yourself, serve yourself
World serves its own needs, listen to your heart bleed
Tell me with the Rapture and the reverent in the right, right
You vitriolic, patriotic, slam fight, bright light
Feeling pretty psyched

It's the end of the world as we know it
It's the end of the world as we know it
It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine

Six o'clock, TV hour, don't get caught in foreign tower
Slash and burn, return, listen to yourself churn
Lock him in uniform, book burning, bloodletting
Every motive escalate, automotive incinerate
Light a candle, light a motive, step down, step down
Watch your heel crush, crush, uh-oh
This means no fear, cavalier, renegade and steering clear
A tournament, a tournament, a tournament of lies
Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives, and I decline

It's the end of the world as we know it
(I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it
(I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine
(It's time I had some time alone)
I feel fine (I feel fine)

It's the end of the world as we know it
(It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it
(It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine
(It's time I had some time alone)

The other night I dreamt a nice continental drift divide
Mountains sit in a line, Leonard Bernstein
Leonid Brezhnev, Lenny Bruce, and Lester Bangs
Birthday party, cheesecake, jellybean, boom
You symbiotic, patriotic, slam but neck, right? Right

It's the end of the world as we know it
(It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it
(It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine
(It's time I had some time alone)

It's the end of the world as we know it
It's the end of the world as we know it
It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine
(It's time I had some time alone)

It's the end of the world as we know it
(It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it
(It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine
(It's time I had some time alone)

It's the end of the world as we know it
(It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it
(It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine

| TRIVIA | "Just Like Heaven" is a song written |
| | by British alt-rock band The Cure and |
| | recorded in Studio Miraval, France, in |
| | 1987. The lyrics were written by |
| | frontman Robert Smith, who drew |
| | inspiration from a past trip to the |
| | seashore in Beachy Head in southern |
| | England with future wife Mary Poole; |
| | according to Smith, the song is about |
| | "hyperventilating - kissing and |
| | fainting to the floor." Before the |
| | lyrics were completed, Smith was given |
| | an offer to use an instrumental |
| | version of the song for the French TV |
| | show, "Les Enfants du Rock", and he |
| | accepted the offer gladly. The song |
| | was praised by music critics and has |
| | been covered by artists such as |
| | Dinosaur Jr., Alvin and the Chipmunks, |
| | and Katie Melua. It was also featured |
| | along with "Bohemian Rhapsody" and |
| | "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, Pt. |
| | 1" in "Rock Band 3", also developed by |
| | Harmonix. What a pretty sweet song, |
| | if I say so myself. :) |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

"Show me, show me, show me how you do that trick
The one that makes me scream" she said
"The one that makes me laugh" she said
And threw her arms around my neck
"Show me how you do it
And I promise you I promise that
I'll run away with you
I'll run away with you"

Spinning on that dizzy edge
I kissed her face and kissed her head
And dreamed of all the different ways I had
To make her glow
"Why are you so far away?" she said
"Why won't you ever know that I'm in love with you
That I'm in love with you?"

You
Soft and only
You
Lost and lonely
You
Strange as angels
Dancing in the deepest oceans
Twisting in the water
You're just like a dream

Just like a dream

Daylight licked me into shape
I must have been asleep for days
And moving lips to breathe her name
I opened up my eyes
And found myself alone alone
Alone above a raging sea
That stole the only girl I loved
And drowned her deep inside of me

You
Soft and only
You
Lost and lonely
You
Just like heaven

Lay me, La-La Lay me
La-La Lay me
La-La Lay me down
Lay me, La-La Lay me
La-La Lay me
La-La, Lay me down
Lay me, La-La Lay me
La-La Lay me
La-La, Lay me down

I feel weak, things get tough
Sometimes my knees can barely hold me up
I'm no fool, but it's said
You gotta walk a mile 'til you're outta my head

Come within, taste it up
Take a little bit and baby don't you give up
Cast your light, give a damn
You gotta make a move and show me where we can stand

Lay me down in darkness
Tell me what you see
Love is where the heart is
Show me I'm the one, tell me I'm the one that you need
(Come on)

Lay me down in darkness
Tell me what you see
Love is where the heart is
Show me I'm the one, tell me I'm the one that you need
(Come on)

Show me I'm the one, tell me I'm the one that you need
Show me I'm the one, tell me I'm the one that you need

[Nile:]
I got the time, it'll be alright, yeah, I got the time
that you need (yeah)

We all weep, bleed the same
If you get the picture, leave it outta the frame, yeah
In the now, take a chance
Make a mess, and don't forget that life is a dance

Come within, taste it up
Take a little bit and baby don't you give up
Cast your light, give a damn
You gotta make a move and show me where we can stand

Lay me down in darkness
Tell me what you see
Love is where the heart is
Show me I'm the one, tell me I'm the one that you need
(Come on)

Lay me down in darkness (yeah)
Tell me what you see
Love is where the heart is
Show me I'm the one, tell me I'm the one that you need

[Nile Riff:]

| TRIVIA | "Let It Go" is a song written by the |
| | husband-and-wife songwriting team, |
| | Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert |
| | Lopez, in 2012, and recorded in |
| | 2012-13 for Disney's film, "Frozen", |
| | which was released on November 27, |
| | 2013. For those of you who haven't |
| | seen the film, let me tell you this: |
| | the song is about Queen Elsa (sister |
| | of the good-natured Anna) who abandons |
| | her kingdom when her magical ability |
| | to create and control winter's ice and |
| | snow is discovered by the public. Up |
| | in the mountains, away from confused |
| | and suspicious onlookers, Elsa |
| | realizes that she no longer needs to |
| | hide her abilities, and so declares |
| | herself free from the restrictions she |
| | has had to endure since childhood; in |
| | doing so, she rejoices in being able |
| | to use her power without fear or |
| | limit, to let the past go, and to |
| | manipulate the snow to create a living |
| | snowman and a magnificent ice castle |
| | for herself. There are two versions |
| | of the song: the original showtune |
| | version by Idina Menzel in her Elsa |
| | role, and a simplified pop version by |
| | actress and singer Demi Lovato over |
| | the film's closing credits (albeit |
| | with shorter lyrics and background |
| | chorus). "Let It Go" reached the top |
| | 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and |
| | won both the Academy Award for Best |
| | Original Song in 2014 and the Grammy |
| | Award for Best Song Written for Visual |
| | Media in 2015, which is the year we're |
| | in now by the time this guide is |
| | written. It's no wonder that Lovato's |
| | version is chosen as a DLC for F:ME: |
| | according to Anderson-Lopez, Lovato |
| | "had a past that she's pretty open |
| | about that is similar to Elsa's |
| | journey of letting a dark past and |
| | fear behind and moving forward with |
| | your power". Anyway, no matter what |
| | version you have, Menzel or Lovato, |
| | this one is a song we definitely can't |
| | let go of for years to come! :) |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn my back and slam the door

The snow glows white on the mountain tonight,
Not a footprint to be seen.
A kingdom of isolation and it looks like I'm the queen.
The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside.
Couldn't keep it in, Heaven knows I tried.

Don't let them in, don't let them see,
Be the good girl you always have to be.
Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know.
Well, now they know.

Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn my back and slam the door
And here I stand, and here I'll stay
Let it go, let it go
The cold never bothered me anyway

It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small
And the fears that once controlled me can't get to me at all.
Up here in the cold thin air I finally can breathe.
I know I left a life behind but I'm too relieved to grieve.

Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn my back and slam the door
And here I stand, and here I'll stay
Let it go, let it go
The cold never bothered me anyway

Standing frozen
In the life I've chosen.
You won't find me.
The past is all behind me
Buried in the snow.

Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn my back and slam the door
And here I stand, and here I'll stay
Let it go, let it go
The cold never bothered me anyway, yeah, whoa
(Na na, na na, na na na na na) [x4]
Let it go, yeah
Na, na.
Here I stand.
Let it go, let it go, ooh
Let it go.

| | soul rock influences, and lyrically |

| | who labeled it as catchy and one of |
| | the best tracks. Following the |
| | album's release, due to strong digital |
| | downloads, the song peaked at #2 on |

| | #9 on the U.S. Bubbling Under Hot 100 |

You're such a motivator, gotta get your way
So sick of saying "yes, sir, yes, sir"
You're such an instigator, you wanna play the game
Take it or leave it, that's her, that's her

And I can't wait another minute
I can't take the look she's giving
Your body rocking, keep me up all night
One in a million
My lucky strike

Got me so high, and then she dropped me
But she got me, she got me, she got me bad
Took me inside and then she rocked me
She keep me up all night, this is what it sounds like

Oh oh oh my lucky strike
Oh oh oh my lucky strike
Your body rocking, keep me up all night
One in a million, my lucky strike

Stuck in her elevator, she take me to the sky
And I don't wanna go down, go down
She said "I'll feel you later, go ahead and fantasize"
She make me want her right now, right now

And I can't wait another minute
I can't take the look she's giving
Your body rocking, keep me up all night
One in a million
My lucky strike

Got me so high, and then she dropped me
But she got me, she got me, she got me bad
Took me inside and then she rocked me
She keep me up all night, this is what it sounds like

Oh oh oh my lucky strike
Oh oh oh my lucky strike
Your body rocking, keep me up all night
One in a million, my lucky strike

Hey, you're taking all my pain away
You're shaking like an earthquake
Hey, you're taking all my pain away
You're shaking like an earthquake

Got me so high, and then she dropped me
But she got me, she got me, she got me bad
Took me inside and then she rocked me
She keep me up all night, this is what it sounds like

Oh oh oh my lucky strike
Oh oh oh my lucky strike

| | positive reviews from the majority of |
| | music critics, with Billboard Magazine |
| | calling it "another slice of hug-warm |

| | dreaming of! |
+-----------------+----------------------------------------+

When she was just a girl
She expected the world
But it flew away from her reach
So she ran away in her sleep
Dreamed of para- para- paradise
Para- para- paradise
Para- para- paradise
Every time she closed her eyes
Whoa-oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh

When she was just a girl
She expected the world
But it flew away from her reach
And the bullets catch in her teeth

Life goes on
It gets so heavy
The wheel breaks the butterfly
Every tear, a waterfall
In the night, the stormy night
She closed her eyes
In the night, the stormy night
Away she'd fly

And dreamed of para- para- paradise
Para- para- paradise
Para- para- paradise
Whoa-oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh.

She dreamed of para- para- paradise
Para- para- paradise
Para- para- paradise
Whoa-oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh.

La la la La
La la la La
La la la La
La la la

So lying underneath those stormy skies
She said, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
"I know the sun must set to rise"

This could be para- para- paradise
Para- para- paradise
Could be para- para- paradise
Whoa-oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh.

This could be para- para- paradise
Para- para- paradise
Could be para- para- paradise
Whoa-oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh.

This could be para- para- paradise
Para- para- paradise
Could be para- para- paradise
Whoa-oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh.

Oo-oo-oo, oo-oo-oo, oo-oo-oo
Oo-oo-oo, oo-oo-oo, oo-oo-oo

| TRIVIA | "Spoonman" is a song that was |
| | originally written by Soundgarden |
| | frontman Chris Cornell for the 1992 |
| | film, "Singles". At the time the band |
| | was working for the film, Pearl Jam |
| | bassist Jeff Ament had been put in |
| | charge of creating the name for a |
| | fictional band that would appear in |
| | the film. Before finally choosing |
| | Citizen Dick for its name, Ament had |
| | compiled a list of potential names |
| | that included the name "Spoonman"; the |
| | name was inspired by Artis the |
| | Spoonman, a street performer from |
| | Santa Cruz, California, and later |
| | Seattle, Washington, who plays music |
| | with a set of spoons. Cornell |
| | eventually used the names on the list |
| | to create songs for the film, and an |
| | acoustic version of "Spoonman" was |
| | created from it; this version can be |
| | heard in the background in one scene |
| | from the film. Then, Soundgarden |
| | decided to work on the electric |
| | version of the song, whose |
| | inspiration, Artis the Spoonman, |
| | played a prominent role in the song |
| | itself; he is heard playing his spoons |
| | as part of the song's bridge, while |
| | drummer Matt Cameron also plays pots |
| | and pans on the song. The song was |
| | met with positive reception and won |
| | the award for "Best Metal Performance" |
| | at the 1995 Grammy Awards. "Spoonman" |
| | appeared in other video games, |
| | including the "Rock Band" video games |
| | and "Guitar Heroes: Warriors of Rock", |
| | which were also developed by Harmonix! |
| | That's a crazy song to work with, and |
| | it's a really difficult song right |
| | next to "Fire", "The Real Me", and |
| | "Lay Me Down". Again, if you do have |
| | a video of a 100% streak on any of |
| | these songs, let me know, okay? |

I know that we are upside down
So hold your tongue and hear me out
I know that we were made to break
So what? I don't mind

You kill the lights, I'll draw the blinds
Don't dull the sparkle in your eyes
I know that we were made to break
So what? I don't mind

Are you gonna stay the night?
Are you gonna stay the night?
Oh oh oh oh, are you gonna stay the night?

Are you gonna stay the night?
Doesn't mean we're bound for life
So oh oh oh, are you gonna stay the night?

[Beat break]

Are you gonna stay the night?
Doesn't mean we're bound for life
So oh oh oh, are you gonna stay the night?

I am a fire, you're gasoline,
Come pour yourself all over me
We'll let this place go down in flames only one more time

You kill the lights, I'll draw the blinds
Don't dull the sparkle in your eyes
I know that we were made to break
So what? I don't mind

Are you gonna stay the night?
Are you gonna stay the night?
Oh oh oh oh, are you gonna stay the night?

Are you gonna stay the night? (We get burned!)
Doesn't mean we're bound for life (We never learn!)
So oh oh oh, are you gonna stay the night?
Night night night night night...

[Beat break]

ARE YOU GONNA STAY THE NIGHT?!

[Beat break]

Are you gonna stay the night?
Doesn't mean we're bound for life
So oh oh oh, are you gonna stay the night?

[Zedd:]
Are you gonna stay the night?
Are you gonna stay the night?
Oh oh oh oh.
Are you gonna stay the night?

| | it's often more literally but less |
| | accurately as "a little night music". |
| | The work is written for an ensemble of |
| | two violins, viola, and cello with |
| | optional double bass, but is often |
| | performed by string orchestras. This |
| | serenade was completed on August 10, |
| | 1787, while Mozart was working on the |
| | second act of his opera "Don Giovanni"; |
| | it is not known why it was composed, but |
| | the work was not published until about |
| | 1827, long after Mozart's death, by |
| | Johann Andr in Offenbach am Main. It |
| | had been sold to this publisher in 1799 |
| | by Mozart's widow Constanze, a part of a |
| | large bundle of her husband's |
| | compositions. Today, the serenade is |
| | widely performed and recorded, and is |
| | regarded as the most popular of all |
| | Mozart's works, especially with the |
| | "Allegro" part; Wolfgang Hildesheimer |
| | writes of the music, "Even if we hear it |
| | on every street corner, its high quality |
| | is undisputed, an occasional piece from |
| | a light but happy pen." |

| TRIVIA | "The Four Seasons" (or "Le quattro |
| | stagioni") is a set of four violin |
| | concertos by Antonio Vivaldi, regarded |
| | as Vivaldi's best-known work among the |
| | most popular pieces in the Baroque music |
| | repertoire. The texture of each |
| | concerto is varied, with each resembling |
| | its respective season (examples: |
| | "Winter" is peppered with silvery |
| | pizzicato notes from the high strings, |
| | while "Summer" evokes a thunderstorm in |
| | its final movement, which is why the |
| | movement is often called "Storm"). The |
| | concertos were first published in 1725 |
| | as a part of a set of twelve concerti, |
| | Vivaldi's Op. 8, entitled "The Contest |
| | Between Harmony and Invention"; he |
| | dedicated their publication to a |
| | Bohemian patron, Count Vclav Morzin of |
| | Vrchlab, and so mentioned the count's |
| | longstanding regard for these four, in |
| | particular (which had apparently been |
| | performed with the nobleman's orchestra, |
| | in Prague's Morzin Palace)although his |
| | dedication may have been closely related |
| | to the completion of an Augustinian |
| | monastery that year, where Vivaldi, a |
| | priest himself, refers to Morzin, the |
| | church's dedicator, as "Chamberlain and |
| | Counsellor to His Majesty, the Catholic |
| | Emperor"while as Maestro di Musica in |
| | Italy Vivaldi presents them anew, with |
| | sonnets or enhancements for clear |
| | interpretation. At the time of writing |
| | "The Four Seasons", the modern solo form |
| | of the concerto had not yet been defined |
| | (typically a solo instrument and |
| | accompanying orchestra). Vivaldi's |
| | original arrangement for solo violin |
| | with string quartet and basso continuo |
| | helped to define the form of the |
| | concerto. "The Four Seasons" still |
| | continues to be performed widespread and |
| | used in media, with movements of |
| | "Spring" and "Winter" used in TV shows |
| | and The Weather Channel in the mid-90s. |
| | Of course, how the guys at Harmonix |
| | chose the first movement of "Winter" |
| | instead of the first movement of |
| | "Spring", or why, is beyond us. :S |

| TRIVIA | "Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2, S.244/2" is |
| | the second set of the 19 Hungarian |
| | Rhapsodies by Hungarian-born composer |
| | and pianist Franz Liszt, who was |
| | strongly influenced by the music in his |
| | youth, particularly Hungarian folk |
| | music, with its unique gypsy scale, |
| | rhythmic spontaneity and direct, |
| | seductive expression. These elements |
| | would eventually play a significant role |
| | in his compositions. Although his works |
| | are highly varied in style, a relatively |
| | large part of his output is |
| | nationalistic in character, the |
| | "Hungarian Rhapsodies" being an ideal |
| | example. "Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2" was |
| | composed in 1847 and dedicated to Count |
| | Lszl Teleki; it was first published as |
| | a piano solo in 1851 by Senff and |
| | Ricordi, and its immediate success and |
| | popularity on the concert stage soon led |
| | to an orchestrated version arranged by |
| | the composer in collaboration with Franz |
| | Doppler and published by Schuberth. In |
| | addition to the orchestral version, |
| | Liszt arranged a piano duet version in |
| | 1874, published by Schuberth the |
| | following year. The piece consists of |
| | two distinct sections: the lassan (a |
| | slow section) and the friska (a fast |
| | section). "Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2" |
| | became widely popular and is used in |
| | many forms of media, including Friz |
| | Freleng's "Rhapsody in Rivets" and |
| | "Rhapsody Rabbit" (featuring Bugs |
| | Bunny), followed quickly by the |
| | controversial release of Hanna-Barbera's |
| | Tom and Jerry cartoon, "The Cat |
| | Concerto" (which won the 1946 Academy |
| | Award for "Best Short Subject: |
| | Cartoons"); the Woody Woodpecker cartoon |
| | "Convict Concerto"; the Trans-Siberian |
| | Orchestra piece "Wish Liszt (Toy Shop |
| | Madness)" (which the rhapsody was |

| | Poirot's 2013 adaptation of "The Labours |

| TRIVIA | Believe it or not, "Night on Bald |
| | Mountain" refers to a series of |
| | compositions by Modest Mussorgsky. |
| | Inspired by Russian literary works and |
| | legends, Mussorgsky worked on some opera |
| | projects, including "St. John's Eve" |
| | (dated on Christmas 1858, based on |
| | Gogol's short story about witchcraft on |
| | St. John's Eve), "The Witch" (dated on |
| | September 26, 1860, based on Baron |
| | Georgiy Mengden's play about a witches' |
| | sabbath on Bald Mountain), and one work |
| | for piano and orchestra before listening |
| | to Franz Liszt's "Totentanz" in 1866; it |
| | was by that time that Mussorgsky began |
| | composing the orchestral version of the |
| | tone poem "St. John's Eve on Bald |
| | Mountain" on June 12, 1867, which was |
| | then completed eleven days later on St. |
| | John's Eve. He then tried to get his |
| | mentor, Mily Balakirev, to perform the |
| | work, but Balakirev refused to perform |
| | it, and it was set aside until the 20th |
| | century, when it was finally performed |
| | in the 1930s. Mussorgsky then remodeled |
| | the tone poem into an opera project in |
| | 1872 under the title "Glorification of |
| | Chernobog" from the collaborative opera- |
| | ballet "Mlada", in an attempt to form |
| | the basis of the "Night on Mt. Triglav" |
| | scene. However, the project, too, was |
| | doomed to failure and languished along |
| | with the first (unlike the 1867 tone |
| | poem, the score was never published or |
| | performed due to the project not |
| | surviving). Finally, Mussorgsky worked |
| | on composing a third version, this time |
| | entitled "Dream Vision of the Peasant |
| | Lad", to function as a "dream |
| | intermezzo" in his then unfinished opera |
| | "The Fair at Sorochyntsi", dated May 10, |
| | 1880. That, too, was not produced until |
| | 1930, when Vissarion Shebalin reworked |
| | both the opera and the piano-vocal score |
| | and premiered it in 1931-1934. In the |
| | years that followed Mussorgsky's death, |
| | his friends prepared his manuscripts for |
| | publication and created performing |
| | editions of his unfinished works, |
| | enabling them to enter the repertoire. |
| | It was then in 1886 that Nikolai Rimsky- |
| | Korsakov produced a redacted edition of |
| | "Night on Bald Mountain" (described as a |
| | "fantasy orchestra") from the "Dream |
| | Vision of the Peasant Lad" vocal score; |
| | it received its premiere on October 15, |
| | 1886, in St. Petersburg's Kononov Hall, |
| | performed by the orchestra of the |
| | Russian Symphony concerts, with Rimsky- |
| | Korsakov conducting the performance |
| | himself. This time, it gained moderate |
| | success and achieved lasting fame, |
| | obtaining its exposure through Disney's |
| | 1940 film "Fantasia" (one of which this |
| | game is an interactive successor to, the |
| | other being the 1999 film "Fantasia |
| | 2000"), featuring an arrangement by |
| | Leopold Stowkowski. Even in death, |
| | Mussorgsky has gained quite an |
| | achievement that still lasts to the |
| | present day. |

| | originally choreographed by Marius |
| | Petipa and Lev Ivanov with a score (Op. |
| | 71) by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky; the |
| | libretto is adapted E. T. A. Hoffmann's |
| | 1818 story "The Nutcracker and the Mouse |
| | King". The ballet was given its |
| | premiere in the Mariinsky Theatre on a |
| | Sunday, December 18, 1892; although the |
| | original production was not a success, |
| | the 20-minute suite Tchaikovsky |
| | extracted from the ballet was. By the |
| | late 1960s, however, the complete ballet |
| | grew to enormous popularity and is now |
| | performed in countless ballet companies, |
| | primarily during the Christmas season |
| | and especially across the U.S. Although |
| | Tchaikovsky had created the ballet, he |
| | felt less satisfied with it than with |
| | the other ballet, "The Sleeping Beauty"; |
| | in fact, according to commentator Deems |
| | Taylor in "Fantasia" (which also |
| | included the suite), Tchaikovsky truly |
| | detested his score. Although he had |
| | accepted the commission from Ivan |
| | Vsevolozhsky, the director of the |
| | Imperial Theatres, he didn't want to |
| | write the ballet in particular but |
| | became more and more attuned to his task |
| | of writing it. As for the suite itself, |
| | it was first performed on March 19, |
| | 1892, months before its December |
| | premiere, and soon became widespread, |
| | making its appearance in "Fantasia" |
| | (albeit without the "Miniature Overture" |
| | and "Marche") and being adapted in other |
| | forms of media, including the 1990 |
| | animated film "The Nutcracker Prince", |
| | the 1962 boogie piano arrangement of |
| | "Marche" called "Nut Rocker", and the |
| | Trans-Siberian Orchestra adaptation of |
| | the ballet called "A Mad Russian's |
| | Christmas". Now this suite is a real |
| | winner, no matter what time of year you |
| | are in! :) P.S. This arrangement, |
| | which is made for the game, consists of |
| | the "Marche", the "Dance of the Sugar |
| | Plum Fairies", and the "Trepak". |
| | Otherwise, not too bad for a ballet that |
| | is gaining popularity for so many years! |

| TRIVIA | "Symphony No. 9: From the New World" is |
| | a song written by Czech composer Antonn |
| | Dvork (pronounced "di-VOR-zhak") in |
| | 1893 while he was the director of the |
| | National Conservatory of Music of |
| | America from 1892 to 1895. Dvork was |
| | interested in the Native American music |
| | and the African-American spirituals he |
| | heard in the U.S. As director, he |
| | encountered a Black American student, |
| | Harry T. Burleigh, later a composer |
| | himself, who sang traditional spirituals |
| | to him and said that Dvork had absorbed |
| | their "spirit" before writing his own |
| | melodies. Dvork believed that the |
| | future music of the U.S. "must be |
| | founded on what are called Negro |
| | melodies", which are "the product of the |
| | soil" and the "folk songs of America". |
| | This "New World Symphony" was |
| | commissioned by the New York |
| | Philharmonic and premiered on December |
| | 16, 1893, at Carnegie Hall. The |
| | symphony became one of the greatest |
| | triumphs of Dvork's career, and became |
| | so popular that the theme from its |
| | "Largo" was adapted into a spiritual- |
| | song, "Goin' Home", by Dvork's pupil |
| | William Arms Fisher, who wrote the |
| | lyrics in 1922. Several themes of the |
| | symphony have been used in pop culture |
| | media, including "Allegro con fuoco", |
| | which is used in F:ME and can be a bit |
| | tricky to play sometimes. Otherwise, |
| | this song is good enough for us. :) |

| TRIVIA | The Tocatta and Fugue in D minor, BWV |
| | 565, is a piece of organ music |
| | attributed to Johann Sebastian Bach. As |
| | with other Bach organ works, no |
| | autograph manuscript of BWV 565 |
| | survives, though the only near- |
| | contemporary source is an undated copy |
| | by Johannes Ringk, a pupil of Johann |
| | Peter Kellner. Several compositions by |
| | him survive, and he is also notable |
| | today for his copies of numerous |
| | keyboard works by Georg Bhm, Johann |
| | Pachelbel, Johann Heinrich Buttstett, |
| | Dieterich Buxtehude, and other important |
| | masters. BWV 565 exhibits a typical |
| | simplified north German structure with a |
| | free opening (toccata), a fugal section |
| | (fugue), and a short free closing |
| | section. The work was first published |
| | by Breitkopf & Hrtel in late 1833 as |
| | part of a collection of Bach's organ |
| | works; the edition was conceived and |
| | partly prepared by Felix Mendelssohn, |
| | who had BWV in his repertoire already by |
| | 1830. The first major public |
| | performance was also by Mendelssohn, on |
| | August 6, 1840 in Leipzig. The concert |
| | was well received by critics, among them |
| | Robert Schumann. In the 20th century, |
| | an orchestral version of the piece, |
| | created by Leopold Stokowski, |
| | popularized the work further when it was |
| | included in Disney's "Fantasia", |
| | released in 1940. This orchestral piece |
| | is also included in F:ME, albeit in the |
| | shortened version of the "tocatta" part; |
| | however, you can substitute the organ |
| | mix for the orchestral one, and it will |
| | sound more original just as it is played |
| | long ago. There is also the synthesizer |
| | mix that you can try out. Anyway, in my |
| | mind, the "Toccata and Fugue in D minor" |
| | is a cool and popular song to play, no |
| | matter what piece you are in. :) |

So in total, we have 5 one-star songs (4 in-game, 1 DLC); 10 two-star songs (8
in-game, 2 DLC); 24 three-star songs (15 in-game, 9 DLC); 8 four-star songs (4
in-game, 4 DLC); and 4 whopping five-star songs (2 in-game, 2 DLC)! This is no
easy task to accomplish if you plan on doing five-star songs at once, so I
suggest you start with the easy ones first before you advance, as you're gonna
need it! :)

And here's also the list of the years the songs were released, from the oldest

loading it onto YouTube in clips: Boomie DCI (for the difficulty levels on "As
Long as You Love Me", "Burn", "Closer", "The Edge of Glory", "Let It Go", and
"Lucky Strike"), Prism Eagle (for the difficulty levels on "Counting Stars",
"DONE.", "I Cry", "Lay Me Down", "Paradise", "Stay the Night", and "Try It
Out"), Herman Miller (for the difficulty levels on "Buring Down the House",

- My thanks go also to all the artists for the awesome songs; all songs are
written/performed by the artists listed in this guide.

Finally, my thanks go to GameFAQs for hosting the guides and being a great
resource on the Internet; and finally, to tectactoe and all the other
walkthrough writers for a good deal of inspiration! You guys are the best!
