This is an FAQ on how to get all the achievements on this game. I've done a few other FAQs, but this is my first on Dead or Alive 4, so I'm kind of new... so I'm sorry if this guide doesn't help you. Well anyway, I'm sure there are lots of nice people out there to tell me what I've done wrong. Well I think I have said enough... ( technically typed but hey ) So I hope you enjoy this FAQ and that you find it useful. ******************************************************************************* 3. Character Achievements: ---------------------- Okay, below I am going to explain what achievements you get by unlocking characters... Story Mode Characters: --------------------- Unlock Leon - Complete Story Mode with Zack ( Worth 10G ) Unlock Gen Fu - Complete Story Mode with Elliot ( Worth 10G ) Unlock Ein - Complete Story Mode with Hitomi ( Worth 10G ) Unlock Helena - Complete Story Mode with everyone ( Worth 20G ) Unlock Spartan-458 - Complete Story Mode with Helena ( Worth 20G ) Time Attack Mode Characters: ----------------------------- Unlock Tengu - Complete Time Attack Mode with everyone ( Worth 20G ) ******************************************************************************* 4. Costume Achievement: --------------------- This achievement is easy to get, it just takes a long time... Unlock All Costumes - Basically all you have to do is unlock every costume in the game. ( Worth 50G ) Basically, everyone who can do Story Mode, gets their costumes out of Story Mode, everyone who can't do Story Mode, gets their costumes on Time Attack Mode... Now I am going to tell you how many costumes each character has got... Time Achievements: -------------------- Now I am going to list the Time Achievements and how much time must elapse before you get them... Here you go: ------------ Play Dead or Alive 4 for 5 hours ( Worth 10G ) Play Dead or Alive 4 for 10 hours ( Worth 20G ) Play Dead or Alive 4 for 100 hours ( Worth 40G ) Just play the game once every so often, with your friends online or offline, and you'll get the achievements in no time. ******************************************************************************* 6. Story Mode Achievements: -------------------------- Okay, now I am going to tell you the Story Mode Achievements, and how to get them... Here you go: ----------- Complete Story Mode with any Character - All you have to do to get this achievement is complete Story Mode with any character. ( Worth 10G ) Complete every characters Story Mode - All you have to do to get this achievement is complete every characters Story Mode, and this does include Helena. ( Worth 30G ) These achievements are not hard, all you have to do is go through Story Mode, if you die you can always try again from where you got up to so there is absolutely no pressure! ******************************************************************************* 7.a ) Time Attack Mode Achievements: -------------------------------------- Okay, below I am going to explain what achievements you get in Time Attack Mode, and the sections underneath will explain on how to go about doing that... Time Attack Mode Single Achievements: -------------------------------------- Time Attack Mode Single ( Bronze ) - Complete this mode within 6 minutes. ( Worth 10G ) Time Attack Mode Single ( Silver ) - Complete this mode within 5 minutes. ( Worth 20G ) Time Attack Mode Single ( Gold ) - Complete this mode within 4 minutes and 30 seconds. ( Worth 40G ) Time Attack Mode Tag Achievements: --------------------------------- Time Attack Mode Tag ( Bronze ) - Complete this mode within 3 minutes and 30 seconds. ( Worth 10G ) Time Attack Mode Tag ( Silver ) - Complete this mode within 3 minutes. ( Worth 20G ) Time Attack Mode Tag ( Gold ) - Complete this mode within 2 minutes and 30 seconds. ( Worth 40G ) Thats them all! ******************************************************************************* 7.b) Hints and Tips ---------------- Here I am going to give you some tips on how to get the Time Attack Achievements... Firstly, you are going to need to sort out the settings, Make sure... The Life Gauge is on Smallest. The Match Point is on 1. The game is set on Normal Mode. Time Attack Single Hints and Tips: --------------------------------- Done? Okay, make sure you use a powerful but quick character for the single mode achievements... I recommend Hayate... Now just kill the enemies as quickly as possible. The fight against Alpha-152 can be hard sometimes, so below I'll list some basics on how to defeat her. Here you go: ------------ Make sure you do not attack her when she is getting up, otherwise she will teleport and hit you. Backflips and charges up attacks are good against Alpha-152, so make sure you take advantage of Hayate's powerful and quick moves. Don't worry about her countering, she rarely does that, so always be on the offence. Thats about it! Time Attack Tag Hints and Tips: --------------------------- Make sure the settings are the same as listed above... the characters you should choose are Hayate and Ayane or Hayabusa... I recommend Ayane because she is quicker. Just focus on killing the enemies as quickly as possible. If you don't get the gold first, then keep trying and you will eventually get it. Good Luck! ******************************************************************************* 8.a) Survival Mode Achievements: -------------------------------- Okay, below I am going to explain what achievements you get in Survival Mode, and the sections underneath will explain on how to go about doing that... Survival Mode Single Achievements: ------------------------------- Survival Mode Single ( Bronze ) - Get 20 or more wins in Survival Mode Single. ( Worth 10G ) Survival Mode Single ( Silver ) - Get 50 or more wins in Survival Mode Single. ( Worth 25G ) Survival Mode Single ( Gold ) - Get 80 or more wins in Survival Mode Single. ( Worth 40 G ) 100 Wins in Survival Mode Single - Get 100 wins in Survival Mode Single. ( Worth 50G ) Survival Mode Tag Achievements: ------------------------------- Survival Mode Tag ( Bronze ) - Get 20 or more wins in Survival Mode Tag. ( Worth 25G ) That's them all! ******************************************************************************* 8.b) Characters Used: --------------------- Okay, here I am going to tell you the characters you should use, to get your 100 wins... Single Survival: -------------- You should use Hayate... Tag Survival: --------------- You should use Hayate and Hayabusa... ******************************************************************************* 8.c) Moves needed: ----------------- Okay, here I am going to tell you the moves that you will need to do in order to get the achievement... 789 456 123 P = Punch K = Kick RT = Right Trigger Kick ( Remember to press the right trigger for this one ) Examples: ----------- 8 = Jump 6 = Move forwards 4 = Move backwards 2 = Crouch 6P = Forward Punch 2P = Low Punch 2K = Low Kick 2RT = Low Kick I hope you've got the hang of it because this is how I'll be explaining the moves... Hayate's Moves: ----------------- PP2KP, 66KKK, 9KKK, 3RTKP, 236P, 7K, 2RT, 4RT, 8PK, 8P8K, 46PK, 46PP... They should be the only moves you need to learn! Hayabusa's Moves: ----------------- 7P6P, RTRTRT, PPKKK, 2RTKP, 2RTKK, 7K They should be the only moves you need to learn! If you know more than I've listed, or want to do more, then thats fine, but I got my achievement by just doing those moves! ******************************************************************************* 8.d) The Survival System: ----------------------- Okay, this is pretty simple stuff, but it really does help a lot, especially if you want to reassure yourself... See as you kill people in survival mode, they are different levels... I'll explain in greater detail below Level 1: --------- Level 1 are the following number of kills, 1-6, 11-16, 21-26, 31-36. 41-46, 51-56, 61-66, 71-76, 81-86 and 91-96... these are the easiest enemies to beat, these are the enemies you want to be spamming just one or two moves on... they hardly ever counter, and their defence is awful... if you give them a chance to attack, they will do quite a lot of damage... so make sure you are always offensive against these characters... What I am saying is that the difficulty doesn't change whether your fighting 1 or 91! Level 2: --------- Level 2 are the following number of kills, 7-8, 17-18, 27-28,37-38, 47-48, 57-58, 67-68, 77-78, 87-88 and 97-98... these are harder than level 1, but they are not that hard, keep your cool and you'll be able to defeat these with ease... Keep doing the moves you did for level 1, but add one or two new moves to keep them on their toes... Again, I am saying that the difficulty doesn't change whether your fighting 8 or 98! Level 3: --------- Level 3 are the following number of kills, 9, 19, 29,39,49,59,69, 79, 89 and 99... these enemies are tough, but can be dealt with easily with a few new moves, and maybe a couple of low attacks... Again I am saying that the difficulty doesn't change whether your fighting 9 or 99! Level 4: --------- Level 4 are the following number of kills, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100... these enemies are the toughest you will face, but if you mess them up with low attacks, and a variety of other attacks, then you should have no problem with them... Again I am saying that the difficulty doesn't change whether your fighting 10 or 100! ******************************************************************************* 8.e) Survival Single: ----------------- Okay, I'm going to give you a few tips and hints to get you to your 100 wins, first off... Have the setting on Hard Mode, I know what you're thinking, but seriously I could not get 100 on normal mode, then I did it on hard mode and got the 100! Just trust me... if it doesn't work, then try it on normal... Also make sure the life is on smallest... Now begin... Remember, choose Hayate... Everytime someone enters the ring, do 236P, if they are in the right position they will hit the ring and then bouce off it, do this move again and this will have knocked over half their health down! You should mainly do 236P, 66KKK and 2RT on Level 1 enemies... On Level 2 enemies you should continue doing this, but also do 7K... On Level 3 enemies you should change your moves, do 2RT still, but also do 3RTKP and 9KKK... On Level 4 enemies, really mix up your attacks, do 236P as soon as they come in, then PP2KP and also 4RT followed by 2K, Also 8PK and 8P8K come in handy for these enemies... Good Luck! A side note... Keep to the guide, and pause it every so often to let yourself have a break, if you feel shaky towards the end, take a break and pause it, you have all the time in the world! Also, only counter if your 99% sure of what the computer is going to do, if you keep countering, you'll get killed! ******************************************************************************* 8.f) Survival Tag: ----------------- Okay, this is the easier one to do... I'm going to give you some tips and hints to get your 100 wins, firstly... Have the difficulty either on Normal or Hard, Normal is recommended for this one... Once again, have the life setting on smallest... Now begin... Remember, choose Hayate and Hayabusa or instead of Hayabusa, your best character... Use the same technique as before with Hayate... if either one of your tag members get hurt, tag them out and play with the other character for a while, while the character who is hurt is inactive, his/her life will regenerate... Good Luck! A side note... Keep to the guide, and pause it every so often to let yourself have a break, if you feel shaky towards the end, take a break and pause it, you have all the time in the world! Also, only counter if your 99% sure of what the computer is going to do, if you keep countering, you'll get killed! ******************************************************************************* 8.g) Items: ----------- Okay, below I am going to list the Items in Survival Mode, this is going to be in a list so you can see more clearly. Here you go: ------------ Candy Crown Doughnut Hot Dog Hourglass Ring Slots x3 Treasure Xbox Xbox 360 Unfortunately there is no way on the game to check and see which Items you have or haven't got, so make a list and then cross them out when you have got them... On a side note, the slot machines look the same, but listen to the sound they make, they are all different and that is how you will know if you have them... ( Worth 20G ) Win 100 times in Dead or Alive Online - Just win 100 matches online, they don't have to be in a row either. ( Worth 30G ) Ranks: ------- Achieve Rank E on Dead or Alive Online - Just get to a rank E. ( Worth 0G ) Achieve Rank D on Dead or Alive Online - Just get to a rank D. ( Worth 0G Thats them all, Good Luck! ******************************************************************************* 9.b) Ranks ----------- In this section I am going to tell you about the Ranks on Dead or Alive Online, and how to get the certain rank you are looking for... Here you go: ----------- Ranking System: ---------------- The Ranking System works in Grade Points, if you win then you gain Grade Points, and if you lose then you lose Grade Points... Also if you beat somebody who has a higher rank than you, you will gain extra Grade Points, but if you lose to someone who's rank is lower than yours, then you will lose extra Grade Points. Pretty Simple huh? How to achieve Ranks F, E and D: ---------------------------- To achieve these ranks, go online and lose... a lot, you could also ask your friends to help you get these achievements by having them beat you all the time. How to achieve Ranks B, A, S and SS: ------------------------------ Okay, these achievements can be tough... if you want an easy way, ask your friends to let you win, if you keep winning you'll get them eventually... having a high winning streak as well helps, because you get extra Grade Points for having a higher streak. Good Luck! ******************************************************************************* 9.c) Stars: ----------- In this section I'm going to tell you how to get the stars... These achievements seem quite tricky, but they are not... you can have your friends help you, have them beat you the correct number of times, and then let you win... or there is another way. It's not a cheat, you need to have a second controller, with a second account... it doesn't necessarily have to be an online account... Now have the account you do not want the achievement for, ( Your offline account ) beat the account you do want the achievement for, ( Your online account ) the correct ammount of times. Then beat the account with the winning streak and go online. Enter a games room where people are fighting and join in the session... make sure that there are more than two people in the room, so you don't have to fight. Now when someone has won a game while you are in the room, you will get the achievement... pretty simple huh? ******************************************************************************* 9.d) Winning/Losing Streaks: ------------------------ These achievements are very easy to get, all you have to do is have your friends let you win or let them win... another way is that you can just go against lower grades to get the wins, and go against higher grades to get the losses! It really is that simple! ******************************************************************************* 10. FAQ: --------- Okay here we go... Nobody has asked me any questions about this...
