This game is BEAST! I was a huge BioShock fanatic, and when I heard about this
I was like, "Drop everything! I NEED that game!" I give Single Player and easy
10/10. However, Multiplayer was a slight disappointment. After playing Call of
Duty for a while and getting completely pissed off at the amount of "cheapness"
I expected this game to take that burden off my shoulders. However, when I
began my journey, I realized this IS Call of Duty with Plasmids. But forget my
negative opinion. Single Player is amazing, and covers the $60 price easily!
SPOILER ALERT!
Now I'll give you a little story catch-up. The game is set 10 years after the
original BioShock event, in 1968. You are Subject Delta, one of the original
Big Daddy models with were Alpha Series. After being hypnotized to shoot
yourself in the head by Sofia Lamb (Rapture's present leader) you are revived
at a Vita Chamber by Eleanor, your original Little Sister. She is trapped in
Fontaine Futuristics and it is your goal to rescue her. The game is about your
struggle to get there, but you encounter many new foes along the way: Brute
Splicers (Hulk SMASH!), Big Sisters (The effect of a severe diet on a Big
Daddy), and Rumbler Big Daddies (They shoot ROCKETS and have funny faces!).

1-4 1. Bought a Slot (5G)
Buy one Plasmid or Tonic Slot at a Gatherer's Garden.
This Achievement can be unlocked as SOON as you run into your FIRST Gatherer's
Garden, which is located in "Ryan Amusements" when you buy Incinerate! ONLY buy
Incinerate! and then walk out of the room, after killing the Splicer that was
posing to the LEFT. Keep walking, looking at the wall to the left, and you
should see ICE on the wall that can be MELTED. Melt it (I have NO idea how!
Not?) and you should see ANOTHER Gatherer's Garden, this time with MORE
purchasable crap. Buy a Tonic Slot for 25 ADAM and BAM!

1-5 2. Max Plasmid Slots (10G)
Fully upgrade to the maximum number of Plasmid Slots.
OK, so this one is weird. What you want to do is buy ALL but ONE Plasmid Slot
by the END of the "Fontaine Futuristics" level and you're SET. In the next
level, "Persephone", Eleanor will give you the "Summon Eleanor" Plasmid (It's
BEAST!) and the LAST Plasmid Slot. BAM!

1-6 3. Upgraded a Weapon (10G)
Upgrade any weapon at a Power to the People Station.
The first Power to the People Station CANNOT be missed! It's in the "Ryan
Amusements" level and you ABSOLUTELY can't miss it. Why not? Because you RUN
across it WHILE getting to your main objective. BAM!

1-7 4. Fully Upgraded a Weapon (10G)
Install the third and final upgrade to any of your weapons.
Honestly, you SHOULD get this without trying. But this is an Achievement Guide
and I'm here to help you, blah blah blah. When you run into the first THREE
Power to the People Stations put them all into ONE weapon! The first TWO are on
"Ryan Amusements" and you can't miss them! On the level after that, "Pauper's
Drop" there are 3 Power to the People Stations so just find ONE! BAM!

1-8 5. All Weapon Upgrades (20G)
Find all 14 Power to the People weapon upgrades in the game.
This can actually be SOMEWHAT tough, as some of the Power to the People
Stations are hidden in PLAIN sight and you'll miss them EASILY. So, until I get

1-9 6. Prolific Hacker (20G)
Successfully hack at least one of every type of machine.
To get this Achievement you MUST hack every ONE of each of the following in ONE
Campaign run at least ONCE:

Hack 30 machines at a distance with the Hack Tool.
Hacking "at a distance" means you MUST hack via your Hack Tool. Of course, most
of you probably haven't realized you can actually walk up close to the target
and hack it. But IGNORE what I said! Hack a machine with your Hack Tool 30
times and BAM!

2-2 8. First Research (5G)
Research a Splicer with the Research Camera.
When you get the camera, which IS required to finish the "Pauper's Drop" level,
you will be REQUIRED by Sinclair to research a splicer. BAM!

2-3 9. One Research Track (20G)
Max out one Research Track.
Try and MAX out a slot in "Pauper's Drop" because there are an INSANE amount of
both Thuggish and Leadhead Splicers. However, Thuggish Splicers (believe it or
not) are EXTREMELY rare after this level so there's a chance you won't get ANY
more research sessions on them. If you haven't ALREADY figured it out, to check
up on how far you are at researching do the following:

2-4 10. Research Master (20G)
Max out research on all 9 research subjects.
Yes, that's RIGHT. MAX out research on all NINE subjects. First off, make sure
you MAX out Thuggish Splicer BEFORE you leave "Pauper's Drop." Now, below are
the NINE subjects you want to max out.

Once you max out research on all nine, BAM!

Defeat 3 Big Daddies without dying during the fight.
This is a LOT easier than you think. If you're playing on Easy or Normal this
should be almost EFFORTLESS. In my opinion Bouncers are the easiest (so you
shouldn't die fighting them!), Rosies are next (TRY not to die!), Rumblers are
third (Watch OUT for their turrets!), and Alpha Series are the hardest (They
appear out of NOWHERE!). Hopefully you won't be fighting Alpha Series to get
this Achievement. But after you kill 3 without dying...
BAM!

2-6 12. Master Gatherer (30G)
Gather 600 ADAM with Little Sisters.
I can't really tell you how to get this because, if you let the sister gather
ADAM from TWO corpses then SAVE or HARVEST her, you should easily rack up 600
ADAM over time. And no, you don't have to have 600 ADAM to spend (Like to buy
Plasmids with).

2-7 13. Fully Upgraded a Plasmid (10G)
Fully upgrade one of your Plasmids to the level 3 version at a Gatherer's
Garden.
One the "Dionysus Park" level you should be able to buy Cyclone Trap 3. Save up
enough ADAM to get it and... BAM!

2-8 14. All Plasmids (20G)
Find or purchase all 11 basic Plasmid types.
To get this Achievement, you'll need ABOUT 600 ADAM. Some Plasmids are gifts
from Eleanor and OTHERS need to be bought at a Gatherer's Garden. Now you don't
need to buy the final upgrade for the Plasmid, just the first version. Below is
a list of ALL 11 Plasmids you need to obtain and in order of when you can
obtain them starting from FIRST to LAST.
}} Electro Bolt (Receive as gift in "Adonis Luxury Resort")
}} Telekinesis (Receive as gift in "Atlantic Express Depot")
}} Incinerate! (Buy as objective in "Ryan Amusements")

2-9 15. Trap Master (15G)
Kill 30 enemies using only Traps.
You can use Cyclone Trap, Trap Rivets, AND Trap Spears to get this Achievement.
If you're having trouble, use only Cyclone Trap. When you see an enemy, plant
the trap right under their feet. Rinse and repeat, then BAM!

3-1 16. Master Protector (15G)
Get through a Gather with no damage and no one getting to the Little Sister.
This Achievement is a TOUGH one. I can think of TWO spots to get it, one at
"Ryan Amusements" and the other at "Fontaine Futuristics." The area in "Ryan
Amusements" is in the same room as a turret AND El Ammo Bandito (Ammo Vending
Machine). Just plant SEVERAL Trap Rivets and use your PLAIN Rivets to headshot
enemies. The area in "Fontaine Futuristics" is in the room with Drill Power 2.
It's HARD to explain so if you don't know what I'm talking about, go with the
"Ryan Amusements" area. Right BEFORE you start the gather, SAVE so if you get
hurt or a Splicer gets to the Little Sister you can reload the save.

3-2 17. Big Spender (15G)
Spend 2,000 dollars at Vending Machines.
If you LIKE to spend money on unnecessary items at Vending Machines, this
Achievement is for YOU. When you get money, SPEND it at a Vending Machine.

3-3 18. Dealt with Every Little Sister (50G)
Either Harvest or Save every Little Sister in the game.
This isn't HARD. Simply find all Little Sisters and SAVE or HARVEST them. To
find a Little Sisters, listen for Big Daddies! Find all of 'em and BAM!

3-4 19. Against All Odds (30G)
Finish the game on the hardest difficulty level.
They're obviously talking about the HARD difficulty. Start a NEW game on hard
and beat it. Easy? Actually, NO. Don't fight in the open and be CAREFUL of your
surroundings. Oh, and beware of those BIG Sisters! As SOON as the final
cutscene rolls in, BAM!

3-5 20. Big Brass Balls (25G)
Finish the game without using Vita-Chambers.
To prevent from SCREWING up, press START, go to OPTIONS, and turn Vita-Chambers
OFF. Whenever you die you will need to RELOAD from a previous save so save
OFTEN! You don't HAVE to play on Hard, so work around THAT. BAM!

3-6 21. Rapture Historian (40G)
Find 100 audio diaries.
The game actually has ABOUT 138 diaries so you can miss 38. However, if you

Score your first kill in a non-private match.
Obviously you NEED the skills to search for a match. Find one, kill an unlucky
gamer, AND BAM!

Complete your first non-private match.
Search for a Multiplayer match and play through and ENTIRE one. BAM!

Become a Big Daddy for the first time in a non-private match.

means it's close to you so start looking for IT! Once you pick it up you're
rewarded with 50 ADAM and this Achievement. BAM!

Take down your first Big Daddy in a non-private match.
Search for a match that ALLOWS somebody to be Big Daddy. When they become him,
open fire on him with EVERYTHING you've got! When you see "Big Daddy Takedown
+50 ADAM", you'll also hear a distinct bleep-bloop sound. BAM!

Save your first Little Sister in a non-private match.
This Achievement can only be unlocked in the "Capture the Sister" gametype.

Trials are like challenges. I can't REALLY help you get them because I haven't

This will take a while to get to, but persistence and hard work will get you
there. Almost everything gives you ADAM, and I'll list the tasks that do:

}} Killstreaks: 50 ADAMS, for every 3 kills in a ROW
}} Assists: 5 ADAM, even on Big Daddies!
}} Big Daddy Takedowns: 100 ADAM
}} Capturing a Little Sister: 50 ADAM
}} Capturing a point: 30 ADAM
}} Holding the sister: 3 ADAM per second

Killed 50 enemies using only hacked Security.

Adopted a new Little Sister for the first time.

Saved every Little Sister and spared Grace, Stanley, and Gil.
UPDATE:
(I've recently been E-Mailed on this Achievement where people think I am wrong
about getting this Achievement, and quite frankly it's pissing me off)
To get THIS Achievement, you must SPARE Grace Holloway (Pauper's Drop) and
Stanley Poole (Dionysus Park). You must also SAVE all Little Sisters in the
game.
Lastly, we have Gil Alexander (Fontaine Futuristics). There is a very arguable
issue concerning him. Throughout the level you see recordings of him (before he
went insane) talking to you, where in some recordings he tells you to kill him.
When you get to the part where you have the option to take the key and kill
him, it's actually your choice. He really has NO affliction with the
Achievement. If you don't get the Achievement right away then finish the level,
or maybe you forgot to SAVE a Little Sister?

6-8 50. Counterattack (5G)
Killed an enemy with its own projectile.
There are a COUPLE ways to get this. Number one, kill a Rumbler Big Daddy with
his own Heat-Seeking MISSILE. Number two, when a Leadhead Splicer throws a
grenade at you catch it and throw it back.
