1.) Introduction
===================

Howdy and welcome the XBox 360 version of my Bayonetta guide. I'll just get
straight to it. I love Bayonetta. I'm loving every minute I play it and it's
probably my favorite 360 game and one of my favorite action games ever. That's
just how good it is but that's just one man's opinion. It's an easy "pick up
and play" type of game but at the same time it's not such a pushover of a game.
This guide will cover the game and hopefully when I find everything, all of
the Broken Witch Hearts, Broken Moon Pearls and stuff like that will be
included in the walkthrough and/or in their appropriate sections.

3.) Walkthrough
===================

NOTE: All of the Alfheim Portals, Broken Witch Hearts, Broken Moon Pearls and
Umbra Chests are in the walkthrough itself. You can either use that as you play
or you can use the sections solely meant for those items if you want to.

NOTE 2: All directions are based off the camera being set behind Bayonetta.
So when I say "go right", it means that there's a path to your right when
the camera is set behind you.

Select New Game and select your difficulty. This guide will be based off the
Normal difficulty so strategies and items may differ if you're playing on Easy
or Hard.

During the intro, some narration will go on while you get used to Bayonetta's
moves and whatnot. You can't die here so don't worry.

Watch the scenes and after a bit, you'll control Bayonetta and you'll fight
your first set of enemies in the game, Affinities. They usually carry a
swinging mace, trumpet, or a staff. Their attacks are predictable and easy to
dodge so you shouldn't have any trouble here. After defeating them, another
scene will play out. Run after Enzo and do a double jump over the edge to fight
another batch of Affinities. Once they're taken care of, some more scenes play
out.

Now you'll have to kill some more Affinities but to actually beat this part of
the Prologue, you have to execute three torture attacks in a very laid back
time limit. Once you execute the third torture attack, the Prologue will end
after a few scenes.

After the scene, you'll gain control of Bayonetta. Now, instead of heading
through the gates on the other side of the area, go around the area and destroy
all the benches that you find. There's also a second level to this area so make
sure to jump up there and destroy the benches too. Once all of them are
destoryed, the train will leave so jump back down to the tracks and you'll
find your first [BROKEN MOON PEARL]. Obtaining two of these will increase your
magic meter a bit. KEEP IN MIND THIS IS NOT AVAILABLE ON VERY EASY/EASY. You
can also ride this same train and get 10,000 halos. Thanks to Seth H for
telling me this.

After grabbing your treasure, go through the gates on the other side from
where you started and follow the path until you run into a strange looking
wall or door thing. Attack it until it breaks open and go on through. Keep
going and you'll find a gap to jump across. Instead of jumping it, drop inside
and you'll find an Umbra Chest tucked away in a hole. Attack it until it breaks
open and grab the key that pops out.

Climb back to the top and you'll fight a couple of affinities. Instead of
using your fists and legs, you'll use the key as a weapon. Honestly, I don't
like using the weapons the enemies drop but if you want to, feel free to do
so. Once they're defeated, jump over the gap this time and unlock the door at
the other end. Grab the first Antonio's Document here and examine the broken
statue.

Upon doing so, some Affinities will spawn so take them out. Once they're
defeated, the statue will be magically repaired. That's just how awesome you
are. Push X near the statue and then X again to activate it. The point here is
to dodge the lightning at the last possible second so that you can run across
the water in witch time. Do so and break the wall at the end and it'll turn
into a platform. DO NOT RIDE THIS. Instead, go back to where you found the key
a few rooms back. You'll notice a portal. This is an Alfheim Portal. Going
inside this will lead you to a so called "trial" with stipulations to follow.
This one, all you have to do is defeat all enemies in witch time. It's pretty
easy so do it. There are three waves of enemies: Affinities, Affinities with
an Applaud, and then two Applauds. If you complete it, you'll obtain your
second [BROKEN MOON PEARL].

Go back to that lift now and ride it up. Before going further, I should mention
that you can destroy pretty much everything for money and whatnot. I suggest
breaking everything possible. Now then, go down the hall and you'll find the
Gates of Hell. It's pretty much the shop of the game. I'd suggest buying a
couple of healing items or if you have the money, buy a Witch Heart or a Moon
Pearl, both costing 30,000 Halos each.

When you're done here, you'll find a set of stairs going down. This is where
you're supposed to go BUT before going, move the camera so it's pointing
upwards and you should see a balcony. Jump towards it and you'll find your
first [BROKEN WITCH HEART]. Collect four of these (Zelda anyone?) to increase
your overall Vitality. Jump back down and go down the hall this time. Grab
the second Antonio's Document here and if you explore around the right side
of the central garden, you'll find another Umbra Chest. This contains your
second [BROKEN WITCH HEART]. Now try to exit this area by going straight
ahead the main path and you'll get stopped short.

You'll fight a new enemy here, an Applaud. These are pretty much like
Affinities except that they're a bit more powerful and have more health but
their attacks are easy to dodge. Once you take them out, you'll find another
new enemy, the Beloved. This guy may be big but he's also easy. He'll either
bring his axe back to swing horizontally or he'll bring it over his head and
slam it to the ground. You can see these coming a mile away so dodge them and
try to go into Witch Time to get more hits in. Make sure to keep your distance
though after you hit him because he can reach out to grab you, even if you're
behind him.

After defeating the Beloved, you'll get your first Golden LP. Bring these to
the Gates of Hell to get a new weapon. With that out of the way, continue
on and open the door you come across. Two Affinities will bust through the
windows so take them out. Jump straight up and you'll notice two ledges to your
left and right. Jump on the left one and grab your third [BROKEN WITCH HEART]
and grab anything else up here. Go back down and continue along until a scene
occurs. You'll now be in a flash back and in a mini-boss fight.

All you have to do is just run down the path while dodging the fireballs it
spews out. Once you get to your comrades, wait for the dragon to eat them and
start firing your guns. If one of the heads starts snapping its jaw and shakes
its head, it's going to try to bite you so dodge and attack it. If you see some
fire in its mouth, it's going to shoot out a fireball so dodge them from both
heads. It'll also swing its body around and try to hit you with its tail so
dodge that. It's last attack is that it'll stick both of its heads on the
platform, trying to trap you so that it can blast you with fire. All in all as
long as you can see the heads ready to lunge at you and you can dodge the
fireballs, you'll win this fight easily. It'll end once half of his health is
gone.

Once you regain control, follow the path and grab the Antonio's Document and
visit the Gates of Hell if you want to. Keep going and you'll run into another
Beloved here. It'll break apart the ground and you'll fight it on only the
platform it's holding. He'll often ram it into the wall so when this happens,
dodge before it hits the wall to avoid stumbling. Just keep attacking his hand
and dodging before you hit the wall. After about 3/4's of his health is gone,
the fight will end and you'll be prompted to do a button sequence to reach
safety.

Continue along and you'll run into the Beloved again, only this time he'll be
at half health. Run back up the stairs and wait until he gets near the top to
start attacking him. He'll bring his hand up and slam it into the ground so
make sure to dodge it and try to activate Witch Time to deal more damage.
That's all there is to this fight so just rinse and repeat until he's defeated.
And that's the end of Chapter 1.

                                                 O------------------O

After the scene, you'll have to fight Jeanne in a flashback. While this fight
isn't hard, it's still the hardest one you've had to fight so far. The thing
you'll want to keep in mind here is that she'll constantly knock you away if
you combo for too long so run in, take a few swipes and back away because
there's a good chance she'll attack you after knocking you back, leaving you
temporarily open. She only has about three or so moves. She'll try to slide
into you, she'll swing her sword around and she'll jump in the air and try
to kick you. All of these are easily avoidable and you can see when they're
coming so you shouldn't have any trouble here.

After the fight, you'll return to the present and now you'll be able to run
up walls when the time calls for it. Go ahead and start running up the wall
but before going to the next area, you should see two statues near the top.
Destroy the left one to obtain a [BROKEN WITCH HEART]. Keep going across the
wall and you'll run into a new enemy, a Dear & Decorations. These guys are
hardly dangerous because all they do is shoot a fireball at you. They'll
sometimes put up a barrier but you can break it by attacking it. You'll fight
some Affinities with them so be wary.

Follow the wall until you see a opening. Once you come to it, your witch walk
will wear off so you're left no choice but to go through the door in front of
you. Head down the hall and grab the next Antonio's Document along the way. Go
back and use the statues that you passed and open the door at the end. If you
don't use witch time, you won't be able to go through this door so make sure
to be in it when you attack it. Eventually you'll reach the center of Vigrid.
Look around the right side of the area to find a chest containing an Arcade
Bullet. Now turn around and set the camera behind you and you'll find a little
opening with an Antonio's Document in it. Grab it but before leaving, look
behind you and you'll find a [BROKEN WITCH HEART] floating in the air near the
ceiling. Grab it.

Head to the center of Vigrid and a scene will play. You'll fight a mix of
Affinities and Applauds. Once you defeat them, a Beloved will come out to play
with you. Once you take off about 3/4's of its health it'll run away so don't
worry about killing it. Head under the tunnel where the barrier broke and start
going down the hill at the other end. A train will go out of control and start
crashing towards you. Jump over it (For some reason, you get an achievement for
this) and you'll fight a new enemy, an Enchant. Once the battle start,
immediately dodge as the Enchant will hit you if you don't. All they do is
roll around and when they set themselves on fire, they'll charge at you so
just keep attacking them to prevent that.

Now, before proceeding, go back up the hill and you'll notice the gate that
the train was near is broken. Go through it and you'll find the next Alfheim
Portal. This one can be pretty nasty but overall it's not too bad. You're
restricted to using seven punches and six kicks to take out a Beloved. If
you're using your Scarborough's still, prolong your combos by holding down
the button you're pushing to shoot your guns and do the same thing after
each attack in your combo. For winning, you'll get a [BROKEN MOON PEARL].

Now go back to where the train is burning like the little bitch it is and
you'll notice a path to your left. DON'T GO THROUGH IT JUST YET. Instead jump
up to find a small bridge. This is where the next Alfheim portal is. This one
is super easy. You have no restrictions. You just have to kill all the enemies
in the time limit you're given. When you win, you'll get a [BROKEN WITCH HEART]
and you're set to go. Now continue on and you'll find some Enchants. Once you
take them out, that Beloved from earlier will come back out. Start attacking it
and once you take out about 3/4's of its health, a second Beloved will join
the battle. It's still not hard as you can see their attacks coming from a mile
away. Once they're defeated, a Gold LP will appear so grab it. If you go to
the left and right from the center of the area you're in, you'll find two
chests. Open them up. There's also an Antonio's Document up the stairs near
one of the chests.

Before advancing any further, run all the way back as far as you can and you'll
find the next Alfheim Portal. This one is tricky since you have to kill six
enemies with Torture Attacks. Put on the Scarborough's and use weak combos and
dodge attacks to activate witch time to gain more magic. For winning, you'll
get a [BROKEN MOON PEARL]. Once you're done, head back to where you were before
and follow the path that the barrier was blocking before and you'll end up in
a plaza type area. To your left is a door with two statues, one of them broken.
Head to the right then and down the stairs and you'll have to fight two
Applauds. Once they're defeated open the chest near the wall for another
[BROKEN MOON PEARL]. Before going back up the stairs and to where those two
statues are, turn look behind you and up. You'll find an area to jump up at.
Do so and jump to the top of the tree up there to find your next
[BROKEN WITCH HEART].

Now go back to those two statues and pick up the Antonio's Document near them.
Lift up one of the statues but don't activate it just yet. Instead run all the
way down to where the wall is and then activate it to enable witch time. Break
the wall so it forms into a bridge and then quickly run across it. Enter the
church on the other side and a scene will play out and you'll find a face that
you're sure to remember.

This fight is pretty simple. The dragon only has two attacks. It'll shoot a
fireball at you and it'll try to eat you. You'll know when he's going to lunge
in to attack when he snaps his jaws twice. When he does this, try to dodge him
at the last second to enable witch time and attack him. You'll know when his
fireball is coming when fire forms in his mouth. When you take off enough
health then the other head will come into play but he's there to aid so you
can't hurt it. The second head has the same attack patterns as the head you're
fighting does so watch its patterns and dodge accordingly. Once you take off
enough health it'll fly away. Pay attention because once the fight is over,
you'll have to push the button that appears on the screen, otherwise you'll
die.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

O-------------------------------O
| Chapter 3: The Burning Ground |
O-------------------------------O
(BCH3)

O-------------O------------------O------------------O------------O
| New Enemies | Broken W. Hearts | Broken M. Pearls | A. Portals |
O-------------O------------------O------------------O------------O
| Fairness | 5 | 3 | 4 |
O-------------O------------------O------------------O------------O

After the scene and you gain control of Bayonetta, head back from where you
start and some Affinities will appear, only these ones are on fire. Rushing
in to attack them won't do you any good as they'll only hurt you with the
fire alone. How do you defeat them then? Either use your guns or go into witch
time. The latter is quicker but make sure to watch out for the lava spots.
When they're gone, go to where you were heading and go up the stairs. There's
a trash can near some rubble here. Destroy the trash can. Trust me on this.
Now head to the center of the area and go to the right to find a chest that
has an Angel Bullet in it. Turn around from the chest and head up and you'll
find an Alfheim Portal here. What you have to do here is stay in the air for
20 seconds. This is way too easy. All you have to do is jump off the Dears
that are sent at you and to make it easier, just hold down X to fire your guns
as you slowly drift down to cheat a bit. You get a [BROKEN MOON PEARL] for
winning.

After that's done or if you give up, head to where the barrier was and head
under the tunnel. Turn to your right and go down hill. As you do lava will
start flowing out so you're left to run away. Ignore the Beloveds that you
come across as you run away. The lava will kill them. After the second Beloved,
jump over the gap and head down to reach safety. Head to the center of the next
area and you'll find a new enemy, a Fairness. As soon as the battle starts
it'll spew a fireball that goes pretty damn fast so dodge it. The Fairness
can be a bit annoying but overall it's not too bad. If you get close to it,
it'll lunge back and then either swipe at you or put you in its mouth and
chew you up. It'll also roar to temporarily freeze you and then it'll either
roll into you or shoot a fireball.

Once the Fairness is taken care of, grab the half Gold LP that appears. Stand
in the center of the area and you'll find a chest to your west and a chest
to your east. They just contain Halos and jewels so get them if you want. As
you start going down the main path and reach that plaza type area again,
the door to your left will blow open but don't go over there just yet. Instead
jump over the lava to your right and go down the stairs. Remember the Broken
Witch Heart that was at the top of the tree on the balcony above you? There's
an Alfheim Portal up here this time.

This one is pretty easy as well. You'll get some Angel Arms to use and you have
to use them to kill the enemies here. I recommend using the double blades as
they do a lot of damage and hit a wide area. You get a [BROKEN WITCH HEART] for
winning. Hooray! When you're done here, head back up to where that door blew
off near the two statues. Lift one of the statues and activate it to enable
witch time. Wait for the lava to subside before jumping through the door.
Ignore the Affinities that appear as they're about to die anyways. After the
small scene you'll end up on the wall, which means it's time to abuse witch
walk again.

Head along the wall and some Affinities will appear. Take them out and continue
on until you can't run across the wall anymore. Go down and drop down on the
rock that's on the lava and cross over to the next wall. Jump over the floors
that break apart and cross the next rock on the lava when you come across it
and jump on the next wall. Just keep following the main path until some lava
starts to chase you again. Drop down to the platform on the lava and cross it.
Jump on the building and run up it. Once you reach the top, you'll have to push
the button that appears on the screen. Continue on and grab the Antonio's
Document you see along the way and head to the center of the next area.

This time you'll fight two Fairnesses. They're not that bad. They'll slowly
creep up on you so run up to one and just before it lunges at you, dodge to
activate witch time and start attacking them. Rinse and repeat. After the
scene, instead of going forward, turn around and put the camera behind you to
find a small pathway. Follow it to find an Umbra Chest at the end that contains
a [BROKEN MOON PEARL]. Go back and follow the main path this time and you'll
fight a few more Affinities that apparently enjoy playing in fire. Take them
out the same way you did before and keep going until you find a Gates of Hell
sitting to your left.

Once you enter the Catacombs, head right and just follow the path, picking up
the Antonio's Document along the way and ignoring the portal to your left when
you come across it. Once you come across a big stone bridge, attempt to cross
it but some rocks will break it so run back to that portal you ran past a few
seconds ago. Take out the Affinities that appear and the portal will activate.
Enter it to find Paradiso. Head straight ahead and ignore the two statues for
now and drop down to the lower level. Now turn around and set the camera behind
you to find two paths that split. Take the right path first and follow it to
the end to find the other half of that Gold LP you got earlier. Go back to
where that split was and take the left path this time to find the next Alfheim
Portal. This one is pretty simple. You have to kill all the enemies but you
don't have witch time. Once you win, you'll get a [BROKEN MOON PEARL].

Go back to where those two statues were and activate them this time. Once in
you're in witch time, jump across the two water spouts to reach the other
side. If you go right at the split, you'll find your next [BROKEN WITCH HEART].
Keep going right and jump behind the wall until you find a Mega Green Herb
Lollipop tucked away in a small grove. Go back to the split and activate the
lever near that big stone wall. You'll obtain an hourglass but don't use it.
Go back to where the portal is and go back through it and go back to where that
stone bride broke apart. Use the hourglass here and the bridge will become
whole again.

Don't proceed across the bridge just yet, though. Start retracing your steps
and going backwards and you'll eventually find another Alfheim Portal. This
one took me forever to find and I was pissed when it was that simple to find.
Anyways, the stipulation here is that you have to use Wicked Weaves to damage
your enemies. Anything else will knock you back. Equip the Shuraba and use
the Y,B,Y combo to use a quick wicked weave to knock back the enemies. You get
a [BROKEN WITCH HEART] for winning this one. Once you're done here, go back to
where that big bridge is and cross it this time. Ignore the enemies chasing you
as they'll disappear once the rocks break the bridge again. As you run across
the bridge, it'll start to break apart so jump across the bridge parts when
you need to. At the very end, run to the top of the last bridge piece and
you'll get the option to jump. Do so.

Follow the path here and dodge the lava streams that come out of the ground.
Eventually you'll have to climb a few rocks to reach the top of an area.
Once you reach the top and the area behind you is destroyed, go left first to
find an Umbra Chest containing a [BROKEN WITCH HEART]. Go back and enter the
cave this time. At the very end you'll find a long wall leading up and out of
the catacombs. Start climbing this wall while dodging the falling rocks until
you reach the top. When you do reach the top, proceed a bit up and you'll
notice a big ass rock to your left. There's a path behind it so follow it to
find another Umbra Chest that has a [BROKEN WITCH HEART] in it. Continue on
to find an Antonio's Document on the stairs. Now just climb the stairs and the
Chapter will end.

| Chapter 4: The Cardinal Virtue of Fortitude |
O---------------------------------------------O

O-------------O
| New Enemies |
O-------------O
| Fortitudo |
O-------------O

Remember that big dragon you faced a couple of times before but never got to
kill? Yup, that's Fortitudo and this time, it's a fight to the death. This
fight has three parts to it but they're all pretty simple. The fight starts
off with Fortitudo obviously having both heads and you'll be up on a platform.
It has three main attacks while you're up here; It'll either shoot fireballs
at you, it'll try to eat you, and it'll swing around and try smacking its tail
into you.

The fireballs it spews are REALLY fast so make sure to dodge them immediately
once you see they're ready to come out. When he lunges in to attack, he'll only
do one quick snap this time before trying to hurt you. Try to enable witch
time for this to maxamize your damage. You should be able to see the tail
swing coming from a mile away so don't worry too much about that. Now, if you
happen to get caught in Fortitudo's mouth, rotate the left stick when it
appears on the screen and you'll break free and drop to the lower level. Get
back up. Hit his heads and once you do enough damage, he'll fall to the ground,
momentarily stunned. Take this time to jump down and grab him by pushing Y and
B together. Once you slam him into the ground, start attacking him before he
gets back up.

You'll now be on the lower level to fight him. He'll jump in the air and the
dragon heads will either dive straight down and get stuck in the ground or
he'll jump and both heads will take a swipe at you. If the former happens,
get in as many attacks as you can. He'll still shoot fireballs at you as well
so make sure to dodge those immediately since they're still fast. Once you
get his attack patterns down then this fight becomes too simple for you.
After taking out nearly 3/4's of his first health bar, Fortitudo will fly
up to the top of the Coliseum and spew down a huge fire beam. When he does
this, quickly find a small pile of rubble that has a hourglass on it to
prevent getting hurt by the lava that comes out of the ground. The ground will
then break apart and if you're standing on one of those small hills, you'll
be on a rock. Jump across the rocks until you reach the top and grab Fortitudo
to bring him down. Keep mashing X as you'll be slamming him three times before
tearing off the first head.

Once he goes back to the top of the Coliseum and spews out another giant lava
beam, head to one of those small hills again but this time, use the hourglass
so that the lava disappears and that the higher platform comes back. You'll
automatically be back up there. The attack pattern is the same as before except
this time, the lone head will spew out two fireballs instead of one. After you
do enough damage, it'll be momentarily stunned so jump down, grab, and attack.
Fortitudo uses the same attack pattern down here again so avoid his attacks and
when he gets ready to spew a giant lava beam, get on one of those small hills
and jump across the rocks to grab the other head. Once you tear off the other
head, it's time for the third part of the fight.

You'll have five minutes to finish Fortitudo off now but he's still easy to
take out. He'll generally ram into the side of the platform you're on. When he
does this, rush in and start attacking him. After a few seconds the ground will
light up underneath you. Start dodging since three spikes will come out of the
ground. Once the third one comes out, go back to attacking him. He'll either
pull away or shoot a huge light beam at you. If the latter happens, dodge and
go back to attacking. If you don't finish him off here, he'll either ram into
the side of the platform again, or he'll fly into the air and try to land on
you or he'll fly directly at you. Once you take off the remainder of his
health, he'll go to swing his tail but it'll go in slow motion when it gets
near you. Use Climax to finish this fight and obtain an achievement.

Once the chapter begins, grab the Antonio Document in your vision and follow
the path and jump across the bridge as it breaks apart. Take out the
Decorations that come to attack you and keep treading along and you'll reach
an area with a staircase to your left. Approach it and a new enemy will
come out to play, Grace & Glory. There are actually two enemies and these guys
are the toughest enemies you've faced so far. They're very agile and can get
their attacks off quickly so make sure you don't get pincered between them
and dodge constantly. Avoid them if they try to uppercut you in the air as
that's their most deadly attack. Just constantly dodge and you should be able
to take them out.

After you win, you'll obtain one-third of an LP. Before continuing forward,
go back all the way to the beginning of the level to find the next Alfheim
Portal. All you have to do is use witch time for this one so it's not hard.
The enemies are just a tad tougher but nothing you can't handle. You get a
[BROKEN MOON PEARL] for winning. Head back to where you fought Grace & Glory
and climb the staircase this time. Some Affinities will block your path. You
can either fight them or run past them. I'd suggest doing the latter. Continue
along and a scene will trigger.

After the scene, you'll encounter a new enemy, Fearless. He fights exactly like
Fairness, except he can use his tail as a weapon. Other than that they fight
a like so take him out. After you win, just follow the path as per usual and
some Affinities and an Applaud will appear. Take them out with the same
strategies as before. You'll eventually reach a ramp leading up to a portal
looking thing. Grab the Antonio Document here and turn the device to your left
to activate the portal. Run up the ramp and jump through. Dodge the enemies
as you soar to your next destination.

Once you land, you'll fight Grace & Glory again so use the same strategy you
used last time. After defeating Grace & Glory again, a new enemy will appear;
Harmony. You'll fight three of them. These guys for the most part are pretty
timid. When you see electricty around them, back off as they're about to
attack. They can also shoot lightning balls at you and send out three big
lightning balls that you can easily dodge. You shouldn't have too much trouble
with these guys. After defeating them you'll get the second piece of the
current LP you have. Around this area there's a chest containing a
[BROKEN WITCH HEART]. It's in plain sight so you can't honestly miss it.

Start climbing the stairs in front of you and dodge the wind currents that come
at you. You can do this by either jumping over them, dodging them or sitting
in a safe spot. You can see where they'll go by the shadow on the ground. As
you go further up the stairs, you'll eventually spot the Gates of Hell on your
right. Directly to the left of it, there's a ledge where you can drop down.
There's an Antonio Document here as well as a chest containing a [BROKEN MOON
PEARL]. Jump back to the main stairwell and climb to the top. Once you reach
the top platform, push the button that appears on your screen.

Enter the building right in front of you and start climbing the stairs. Once
you reach the top, a new enemy will appear, Ardor. There are actually two of
them that you'll have to fight. They're pretty much buffed up versions of
Applauds except they're stronger and a bit smarter but their attacks are easy
to dodge as you can pretty much see them coming before they use them. Once
they're defeated, you'll be able to use witch walk now. Climb to the top of
the stairs and jump on the wall. There should be an opening near you so enter
it and start running up the wall. Avoid the light that forms on the floor since
it damages you. Near the top you'll fight three or for Harmonies.

Once you kill the Harmonies, drop down all the way back down to the bottom
and you'll find the next Alfheim Portal. This one is a bit nasty since you have
to stay in the air for 60 seconds. A cheap way to do this is to equip your
trusty whip, Kulshedra. What you should do is jump in the air, push and hold
the Y button to pull in a nearby enemy and jump off them. Repeat this process
until the 60 seconds are up. It's cheap, yeah, but it's the best way to
accomplish it. You get a [BROKEN WITCH HEART] for completing this task. Head
back to the tunnel you were climbing earlier and get to the very top. At the
top, jump to the very top of the room and pull the lever. An opening will
appear above you so jump through it and examine the broken statue on the
other side of the room.

You'll fight Grace & Glory in here. This fight can actually be a bit more
difficult since you're fighting in such a small area rather than on a large
platform outside so make sure to pay close attention to where they're at.
Once they're defeated, lift up one of the statues and drop back down to the
lower level and activate the statue near the wall. Open it up and go through.
You'll be outside with a small platform in front of you with two ways to go.
Go right first. The path leads downwards but at the end of it is the next
Alfheim Portal.

This one is more annoying than hard due to the fact you have to fight a
Glory and Grace using a maximum of 10 punches and seven kicks. However it
becomes easier if you use Shuraba. If you charge it up and hit them with it,
it'll do a decent amount of damage so you shouldn't have to use all 10 punches
up. When the fight first starts, push Y immediately and charge until both of
them get near you and unleash it. From there on out it's recommended to go
into witch time before trying it again. You get a [BROKEN WITCH HEART] for
winning.

Start climbing up the platform now and dodge the wind currents as they come at
you. As you start getting near the top, a fountain will appear on your left.
Jump over to it when you can and you'll find an Antonio Document and a chest
behind the pillar containing the third piece of the LP for this Chapter. Jump
back to the main path and continue going up, jumping as the bridge breaks
apart. Once you reach the top, you'll fight a new enemy, Inspired. To make
this fight easy, start shooting at it with your guns as it floats around the
area. Once you do enough damage it'll crash down to where you are and it'll
be stunned so run in and get a few hits in. Now it'll start shooting fireballs
at you so try to enable witch time to get as many hits as you possibly can.
Rinse and repeat. Once its health is gone, rush in and use a Climax to finish
it off.

Follow the path and visit the Gates of Hell if you need to before climbing
the next set of stairs. Grab the Antonio Document and nearby this document
there's a chest containing a [BROKEN WITCH HEART]. Head to the top of the area
and through the door to fight another Inspired. Take him out the same way you
did before. After the fight, break the gate in front of you and continue on
for a scene and a fight.

You'll fight Jeanne here. The only real differences is that she'll use a
wicked weave this time and she has more health. Other than that her attack
patterns are the same as before so you should know how to dodge them. Her
wicked weave takes a bit of time to get used to but you'll know it's coming
when she screams "Burn!" or something along those lines. After defeating her,
you'll have 90 seconds to get to your next destination and you'll get a tiny
"tutorial" about your new powers. Push the RT twice to transform into a beast
and jump across the rocks. Once you reach the last one, a scene will play out
and the Chapter will end.

Right from the beginning, turn around and put the camera behind you to find
a chest just sitting and waiting for you to beat the living hell out of it.
Open it up to find the first of three LP pieces for this Chapter. Turn back
around and start heading down the main path, grabbing the Antonio Document
along the way. Go down the stairs and break the gate blocking your way and some
Affinities and an Ardor will appear. After taking them out, jump to the top
of the left wall to find a chest. Open it up for a [BROKEN WITCH HEART]. Jump
back down and head to where the gate was. Now turn into a beast and run across
all three switches and past the door before it shuts.

In this room, go forward a bit and drop down to the lower level of the area.
Head left and you should see a bunch of rocks that look different than the
other ones around here. Break them to reveal a chest that has the second piece
of the LP for this Chapter. Head to the center of the room now and examine the
broken statue. Doing so will activate two Inspired. Use the same strategy you
used last time to take them out. Once they're defeated, go activate the statue
and jump across the water in witch time.

Once you enter the building and turn the next corner, some Dear and Decorations
will come at you so waste them and continue on. You'll soon be in a hallway
with spike traps and a door at the end. Carefully navigate the spikes and once
you reach the end, break the rocks and pull the lever here. Affinities and an
Applaud will appear so wipe them out. Once you do that, start backtracking to
the room where you fought the two Inspireds. There's an Alfheim Portal here.
This one frustrated me to hell and back. You have to execute five Torture
Attacks. The first wave of enemies you'll face are three Applauds so this
should be easy enough. Torture Attack all three to death. The next wave of
enemies are Harmonies. Avoid getting hit here as your magic will deplete if
you get hit. Once you Torture Attack two of them, equip stronger weapons and
take the rest out. The next enemy is a Grace and Glory and finally the final
wave of enemies is a Fearless and Fairness. You can only get hit three times so
be wary of your surroundings. You get a [BROKEN MOON PEARL] for winning.

Head back to the room with the spike traps. Turn into a beast and run over all
three buttons to open the door and quickly run under it before it closes. Grab
the Antonio Document sitting over here and you'll run into a battle with two,
TWO Grace & Glory. Once you take care of them, continue on and you'll reach
a bridge. Four Affinities will appear. Take out the first two and then approach
the next two and the bridge will break and those two Affinities will fall to
their doom. Try to go back and three Applauds will block your path. Once you
take care of them, get enough running room and transform into a beast and
double jump over the big gap. Open the door on the other side for a scene.

You can get an achievement here if you manage to kill all the enemies without
the little girl taking any damage. You'll fight several waves of Affinities
with one Applaud at the end. If you want this achievement, lure the Affinities
away from her as they don't go after her. Once they're taken care of, a scene
will play out. Open the door and grab the Antonio Document. Go up the stairs
and some Affinities will appear but these ones are invisible so grab anything
you can find. Lamp posts, dumpsters, anything to hurt them as your normal
weapons won't do shit against them. Once they're taken care of, enter the
building.

A giant enemy will appear here so you have to escape while protecting Cereza.
Grab anything you can find as you run away such as dumpsters and lamp posts
and chuck them at the enemy to slow him down. Break down the gates that get
in your way and repeat this process until you get out safely. Grab the
Antonio Document sitting out in the open and enter the portal at the end of
this area. After the scene, you'll have to fight a Fearless and a Fairness.
Try to get Cereza out of the way while you're attacking these two but that's
easier said than done. Thankfully her health regenerates if she gets hit so
it's not TOO bad.

Follow the path after the fight and you'll see that giant enemy from before.
This is a Beloved but this guy is a bit different from the other ones you've
faced so far. He's more agile and has a few other attacks he can use. He can
summons fireballs from the sky and he'll often slam his axe into the ground to
damage you with a shockwave. If he summons fireballs, just stand behind him
if you can and the fireballs will hit him and hurt him instead of you. Other
than that it's the same old ordeal.

After you finish off the Beloved, it's time for a chase scene. Enter the
building in front of you and dodge the lasers as they come at you. You CANNOT
dodge them with RT so you have to run to the side of them or jump over them.
Once no more are coming, transform into a beast and run the rest of the way.
If you're too slow it'll be Game Over. Once you reach the end, a dance off
will occur and you'll have to fight yourself.

This fight is actually a bitch and a half as your clone is pretty quick and
isn't hesitant in using some damaging attacks. Most of the time she'll slide
or use some green like ribbon to hurt you so constantly dodge. After taking off
all her health, a new enemy will appear, Joy. She fights just like when she
was taking your form. She's very agile and strong so dodge whatever she tosses
at you and finish her off. After the fight you'll get the final piece of the LP
for this Chapter. Grab the Antonio Document and before using the portal to
exit, check behind it to find a chest containing a [BROKEN WITCH HEART]. Now
exit Paradiso and grab the Antonio Document out here. Continue on for a scene
and the chapter will end.

Bayonetta may be on to something when she claims she's a "fucking celebrity"
around here. After some scenes, it's time to fight the second boss in the game,
Temperantia, or a giant vacuum cleaner. Take your pick. You'll be standing on
a small platform once the battle starts. He only has a few attacks. He'll
either bring his fist pack and punch at you or he'll grab onto the platform
with one arm and either shoot projectiles directly at you or he'll shoot them
at the platform to destory it. If the latter happens, you'll get the option to
jump to another platform.

If he grabs the platform, start attacking his hand that's on it. Just keep
repeating this process and after you deal enough damage, he'll destroy the
platform you're on so push the button that appears on screen and you'll jump
and land on his arm. Run up his arm avoiding any projectiles. You're looking
for a gaint shining core on his arm. Once you reach it, some blue spikes will
form in the air so back off momentarily and dodge these and then go back and
attack the core. After dealing enough damage, use your Climax attack to tear
his arm off.

The process is the same for the second arm. Once it grabs hold of the platform,
keep attacking it while avoiding the projectiles from his head. Once you do
enough damage, again you'll get a chance to land on his arm. Repeat the same
procedure as last time until his arm snaps off. The last part of this fight
really doesn't have a time limit, but it'd be better to finish him off as
quickly as possible.

You have to find and destroy the remaining orbs on his body. You can find where
they are by following the energy source from his head. When you get near a
core, those blue spikes will form again so back off, dodge them and go back
to attacking the core. Once you destroy all of them, the shield around his head
will disperse and you can finish this fight by attacking the head. He has three
attacks now. He'll shoot several laser beams at you, followed by shooting out
a wind current around his head to protect himself which lasts for about three
seconds, and then he'll shoot a gaint beam in a circle. He'll repeat this
process until he dies. All of these attacks are easily dodgable so just keep
attacking his head and use Climax once his health is gone.

This is pretty much the "Beep Beep I'mma Jeep" level. After the scenes, you'll
be on top of a car along with some Affinities and two Applauds. The Applauds
are right in front of you at the start so take them out. The Affinities are
on different cars and will blow fireballs at you so be cautious while you're
in the air. Jump from car to car to take them out. Once they're done, you'll
have to fight three Joys on the street. Torture Attacks help out a bunch here
so use them if you have the magic capacity. After defeating them, a new enemy,
Irenic, will appear. I guess he's some evil car. I dunno.

Now it's time for the fun part of the level. You'll be riding a Motorcycle for
the majority of the level here. All you have to do is avoid any cars in front
of you and dodge any fireballs coming your way. When you enter a tunnel, work
your way around the cars in front of you and you'll notice that the gate starts
to close. Push RT to slide underneath it. You'll also run into some Beloveds
but they're easy enough to dodge since you're going too fast for them to do
anything. HOWEVER, there are two Broken Witch Hearts to get.

Verse 3: Right before the second set of Beloveds (not the second overall one),
hug along the right to find a split. Take the road going to the right and ride
the arc to find the first [BROKEN WITCH HEART].

Verse 4: After exiting the first tunnel, hug along the right and you'll find
another split in the road. Take the right split and follow it to find the
second [BROKEN WITCH HEART].

Once you reach the end, push Up+A whe it appears on screen for a scene. You'll
fight a new enemy here, Braves. No, you're not fighting the baseball team.
These guys are just smaller versions of Beloveds but they're much quicker but
they use the same attack patterns so you should know what to expect by now.
You only have five minutes to take out three of them. Once you take out one,
the remaining two will combine into a bigger Brave. It doesn't slow him down
at all so be wary. After defeating him, the chapter will end.

Once you gain control of Bayonetta, start making your way across the floating
platforms. You'll notice a light platform sitting in the middle of the air.
You can land on this and if you want to proceed, you'll have to use it as a
landing pad. Keep going until you reach an area with a fountain and grass. If
you wander around, Affinities and an Ardor will appear. Take them out and
pick up the key that the Ardor drops. Go to the statue in the center of the
area and put the key inside of the statue and some light rings will appear
above you.

Before going up, however, there are three things to get here. If you stand in
the center and put the camera behind you, head left through a little hut and
you should see a small opening along the wall. Go through it and open the
chest over here for a [BROKEN WITCH HEART]. Now on both ends of this area,
there are two doors with a sun on them. You can break these. One of these
has the first piece of the LP of this Chapter while the other door leads to an
Alfheim Portal. In this one, you have to fight "out-of-body" for this trial.
To get out of body, push X. Be warned that some of the enemies here will home
in on your body so make sure to stay close to your body so you can ward off
any intruders. You get a [BROKEN MOON PEARL] for winning.

Now head back to where the light rings are and climb them to the top. At the
the top of the sphere, some Affinities and an Applaud will come to try to
finish you off but we can't let that happen, now can we? The Applaud will drop
the key after you defeat him so pick it up and look for the statue on the
sphere. Once you put the key in, a light pathway will form. Follow the path
and you'll reach a new area. Keep going and eventually a gaint boulder will
fall behind you and start rolling towards you. Change into a beast and start
running down the platform. Jump to avoid the lightning bolts. Once you reach
the bottom, push A to jump over to safety.

Break the wall here and the last cog will magically form so head over to the
key and turn it until the light pathway connects with the other one. Now run
across it and you'll be in the city of Vigrid again. Here, the key will smash
into little pieces. In order to advance, you have to open all the chests in
this area to find all of the key pieces. As you wander through the city, the
giant boulder from before will drop in constantly but it won't fall near the
chests. Watch out as three of these chests contain one of the following
enemies; Grace, Glory, and Fairness. After getting all pieces of the key, bring
it up the stairs to the next keyhole and put it in.

Head to the next area and right in the middle of the area, there's a chest
sitting in plain view. Open it up for a [BROKEN WITCH HEART]. Run down the
path and you'll face a new enemy here, Kinship. It's pretty much like a battle
ship and there are two of them. Once the battle starts, get ready to dodge as
some missiles are coming your way. Jump on the first Kinship and start
attacking the red orb on its back until it's destroyed. Now, make sure to
destroy the next Kinship over the left side of the screen if the first one
isn't there already. There's an Alfheim Portal to get to but you need to have
the technique Crow Within. After defeating both Kinships, the second piece of
the LP will appear. Now, if there's a Kinship on the left side, jump up to it,
run off it, jump and turn into a crow to fly over to the light platform on the
other side. The next Alfheim Portal is here. All you have to do is defeat
Jeanne here so it's not too hard. You get a [BROKEN WITCH HEART] for winning.

Head to the portal now and take a left before running up it to find a chest
that has a [BROKEN MOON PEARL] in it. Now enter the portal. There are tentacles
here so you can avoid them if you want, but if you destroy them all, you'll get
an achievement for doing so, so do whatever you want here. Once you land,
you'll be thrusted into a fight again three Joys so use the same strategy as
last time to take them out. Once they're defeated, head along the path and
time the pattern of the boulder here so you can under it. You'll find a Gates
of Hell just beyond it.

Now, this was a bit tricky for me to find and I found it completely by
accident. If you run along the light platform near by and drop down in the
gap that appears in the platform, you'll fall to a lower level. The statues
come to life here so waste them. Head to the top of this area and break down
the door at the end to find a chest. Break it open to find the final piece of
the LP for this chapter. Head back to where you were before and just keep
following the main path, dodging the boulders along the way. Once you reach the
end of the main road, you'll fight a new enemy, Golem.

This enemies gimmick is that he can transform into different things and
attack you. He can either transform into a dragon and try to eat you,
transform into a bird and either fly at you or form tornados to toss at you,
or transform into a pair of hands and try to smash you with his fist or
bring his hands together to smash you. I found the easiest method is to stay
as close as possible. By doing this, there's a high chance he'll transform
into a pair of hands to try to hurt you. Just dodge the hands to enable witch
time and attack the red core. Repeat until dead.

After the fight, there are two more things to get before finishing this
Chapter. Climb the stairs to your left and open the chest at the top for a
[BROKEN WITCH HEART]. Now backtrack to where you fought the three Joys from
before. Yes, that far back. There's an Alfheim Portal waiting for you here.
You have limited kicks and punches, 13 of each to be exact and you're fighting
a Fairness and a Fearless. You can use the Shuraba and charge it up to attack
or you can use the Duraga on your hands and charge them to hurt them while in
witch time. I found the latter to be easier but still, you can only get hit
three times so be careful. For winning you get another [BROKEN WITCH HEART].
Head back to where you fought the Golem and enter the door to finish the
Chapter.

After the opening scene, you'll have to fight three Joys right off the bat.
You should know how to take care of them already so do so. After the whole
tentacle rape thing, jump down the hole and you'll be in a place you should
recognize very well. As soon as you land, you'll be assaulted by some
Affinities so take them out. Around the city there are four walls for you to
break. After breaking each one, they'll turn into cogs. After all four cogs
are in place, take care of the Grace & Glory that appears. Now turn the key
so that the city turns to the right and keep turning it until it connects to
a small, lone platform floating in the middle of nowhere. Head over to that
platform and open the chest here for a [BROKEN MOON PEARL]. As an added bonus,
there's an Alfheim Portal right next to the chest so enter it. You have to use
wicked weaves to damage the enemies so just use the YBY como with the Shuraba
equipped. You'll get a [BROKEN WITCH HEART] for winning. Now, after this, start
going back to the key but before doing so, stop right at the arch and double
jump to the top of it to find a chest up there. Drop back down.

Head back to the key and turn it so that it connects to the other platform in
the area. Jump over the gap as a beast and follow the path and you'll
eventually run into three Harmonies. Take them out and continue on. You'll
reach a huge courtyard eventually. Try to proceed and you'll find a friend
you've seen before, Fortitudo. He fights the exact same way as last time but
he has less health this time so take him out. As soon as you deliver the
finishing blow to Fortitudo, Temperantia will come out to fight. This one is
a bit more lengthy because you can only damage him when he either slams his
head to where you can reach it or you go into witch time as you avoid his
fist that slams into the ground.

Once you defeat Temperantia, follow only way to go and a giant penis monster
will come out of nowhere and hit the church, sending it in a rotating pattern.
It's not too hard to jump to the church entrance. I'd wait and watch its
pattern. That way when you know the church entrance is coming, you can jump
over to it. Once inside, you'll find three Enchants in here. Since you haven't
seen them in a good while, why not say hello by busting their faces open? Once
they're defeated, there's a cracked wall with some light coming from it in
the back. Break it open. This jump is a bit trickier to time. Your goal here is
to wait until a white platform comes into view and jump down on it. There's a
green barrier around it so you can't miss it.

Once you jump and land on so called platform, you'll have to fight three
Kinships. After you sink their battleships, jump across the Kinships and you
should notice a light platform behind the third one. Jump on it and open the
chest for a [BROKEN MOON PEARL]. Before going back, if you turn to the right,
you'll see another light platform in the distance. Double jump off the platform
you're on and fly over to the other side as a crow to find a second chest with
a [BROKEN WITCH HEART] in it. Now head back to the main path.

As you follow the path, jump across the light platforms that appear and you'll
now have to run down a passageway while dodging some tentacles. Seriously,
what is it with Japan and having tentacles and female heroes in the same game?
The tentacles are pretty simple to dodge. Once you reach the end, proceed down
the next few set of stairs and eventually Grace & Glory will break out from
their statues to attack you. This fight is a bit more difficult since it's
really hard to get into witch time for this fight so you'll want to attack and
back off.

After the fight, a scene will play out. Continue going down the stairs and
follow the path until you run into a spike trap. The pattern is easy to follow
to carefully navigate your way across and you'll find a Gate of Hell. Destroy
the wall you're facing when you reach it to break it down. Turn into a beast
and jump over to the platform across from you now. Once you approach the chest,
another Grace & Glory will break from their statues. After they're defeated,
open the chest for a [BROKEN WITCH HEART]. Now start backtracking all the way
back as far as you can, past the tentacles from earlier and you'll find another
Alfheim Portal. All you have to do is defeat the enemies with Angel Arms so
you shouldn't have too much trouble. You get another [BROKEN WITCH HEART] for
winning.

Head back all the way to the Gates of Hell and keep following the path until
you can drop down safely. Do so and you'll fight two Braves. After defeating
one, a third one will appear out of nowhere so be careful. After defeating
all of them, an Inspired will come out of the water. What I would suggest
doing is activate witch time with the statues in the middle of the area you're
in. That way you can attack the Inspired more easily. A second one will appear
after the first one is dead so repeat your same strategy for taking them out.
Use the statues again to activate witch time and run across the water. Wall
jump off the rock at the end of where you're supposed to go and then double
jump to reach the top. Enter the portal to end the chapter.

After the scene, you'll have to fight some Affinities and an Ardor at the end
but since you've fought them so many times already, you should know how to take
care of them already. Some more scenes play out once you win.

Okay, honestly, I want to say the bosses name is Justitia because of the
title of the chapter but it really does look like an I. Anyways, this boss
isn't too bad as he follows a simple pattern throughout the entire fight.
He'll have his tentacles go under the platform you're on and toss rocks at you,
slam his tentacles on the ground, slam his head at you, or have a tentacle spew
poison on the platform. From time to time he'll start breaking the platforms
so if you can, jump to a new one. If you can't, don't worry about it. While
you're falling, push Y+B when it pops up on the screen to save yourself. If
you're not quick enough it's a game over.

Now, in order to damage him you have to hit his head. Thankfully it's always
within reach if you want to run in and start smacking it. Go ahead and do so
but make sure to watch out for when the tentacles start trying to swipe at you
or when it starts to drop poison on the platform. After you take off 3/4's of
its health, the head will be temporarily stunned so jump on it. Now you have
to run across its neck while avoiding the tentacles as well as light blades
that try to cut you up as you make your way to the middle. Once you reach
the middle, you'll bust its face open which reveals it's "core" so to speak.
Attack this until Bayonetta slices it up herself.

Iustitia will start breaking platforms around him so either drop down and
get back up yourself to do some platform hopping as a beast until he stops.
From here on out the pattern is the same and you have to do this two more
times. He doesn't have any new moves or anything nasty to hide so just follow
the same procedure until you take off all of his health. Once all of it is
gone, he'll start glowing and will try to ram into you. That's when you'll want
to activate Climax to finish this fight.

We're getting closer and closer to the end of the game. Can you smell victory
yet? After the opening scene, it's time to find Cereza in this airplane. For
this first part, just head straight ahead and jump over the railing to the
lower level. Now go right and follow the small walkway over here. Watch out
for the wicked weave that comes through the ground and you'll find a chest in
the corner here that contains a [BROKEN WITCH HEART]. Follow the main path now,
dodging the wicked weaves that come through the plane. Hug along the left wall
and you'll see a couple of beaten up doors. Break these doors to find a chest
that has a Magic Flute in it. Continue along and you'll fight some Affinities.
Be careful as you're fighting them near one of those wicked weaves.

Once you win, keep going and open the next chest you see for a Red Hot Shot.
Grab the Antonio Document at the end of this area and open the door. Head up
a bit and the crates here will start falling down the hatch that opens. Jump
across them until you reach safety. Once you land on the hatch, Grace & Glory
will appear. Once you take care of them, go a bit further up the hatch and
three Applauds will come to take your head. Now, before going any further,
double jump and turn into a crow so you can fly to where the crates were at
before the hatch opened. Backtrack all the way back to the beginning. Take
care of the Affinities and two Ardors here. Once you defeat them, the next
Alfheim Portal will appear in a few seconds. For this portal, you have to fight
out of body again but this time the enemies are on fire with the execption of
the Harmonies that come in the second wave. Pelt them with your guns or go into
witch time to hurt the fire enemies. You get a [BROKEN WITCH HEART] for
winning.

Make your way back to the room where those crates fell but as soon as you enter
that room, double jump and turn into a crow. Fly forward a bit and you should
see a chest on a platform to your left. Land there and open the chest for a
[BROKEN WITCH HEART]. Jump back down to the hatch and head up to find the next
Antonio Document. There's a Gate of Hell right next to it as well. To the right
of you is a door that looks like it's going to break. Hint much? Break the door
down and jump on the platform. Turn so you're facing the plane with the camera
to your back and along the way, you'll find a propeller with an opening to your
left. Jump in there but don't kill the Affinities and Applaud that appear.
Instead enable witch time so you can run past the blades without getting hurt.
Do this until you get to the end to find another Alfheim Portal. All you have
to do is kill the Golem with witch time here. Nothing too hard. You'll get a
[BROKEN WITCH HEART] for your victory.

Head back to the moving platform outside and ride it to the other side. As you
get near the opening, a scene will play. You'll have to fight Jeanne here.
She's still easy to beat and she doesn't have any new moves for you to deal
with. However, once you take off enough health she'll start riding around on
her motorcycle. Stay close to her as much as possible and attack her while
dodging to avoid her motorcycle so she doesn't run you over. Once it explodes,
just repeat what you were doing before she got her motorcycle.

After the next scene, go through the newly opened door by the Gate of Hell.
Don't jump on the floor as it'll hurt you due to the electricity. Instead jump
over to the walkway on the right side of the room. Jump over to the left
walkway now where the next Antonio Document is. Once you reach the end of this
area, a scene will play. Head to the top of the area and drop Cereza so you
can fight the Affinities and Applaud. After the enemies stop coming, follow the
path for another scene. Like before, head to the top to place Cereza away from
the rising electrical water. Take care of the Harmonies and the barrier will
break. Pick up Cereza and go past the barrier to end the chapter.

O-------------O
| New Enemies |
O-------------O
| Sapientia |
O-------------O

This is my favorite boss fight in the game without a doubt in my mind. I dunno
why but it's just so fun. When the starts, your first target are his legs.
On each of Sapientia's four legs, there are faces on them. Hit them until his
legs are destroyed. For this part and the next part of the fight, he'll usually
dive under water and try to dive up and snack on you twice so make sure to
dodge after a huge ripple of water appears underneath you. After the second
attempt his fin will be visible and he'll jump out of the water and dive back
in. He'll then jump out and return to trying to kill you. Surf up to his legs
and destroy them one by one.

Once all four are destroyed, you'll have to do a little interactive Climax
sequence. You'll have to control Sapientia into your hair. You either have to
hold left or right and push X. It'll let you know which one. It'll change up in
the middle of it too so make sure to pay attention. Also make sure to pay
attention because every now and then during this sequence, Sapientia will try
to eat you so counter it whenever it happens.

For the second part of the fight, he has the same moves but this time you have
to get in close and attack his head. Once you get close, he'll try to slam his
claw into you or he'll try to eat you so make sure to back off for the latter
attack. Just keep attacking his head over and over again until you get the
option for a Climax. Do the same thing as before and the final part of the
fight will begin.

This part of the fight is really interesting. You'll be sucked into a whirlpool
with Sapientia waiting at the bottom. First he'll pull out four tentacles and
blow you all the way to the top of the area so start making your way back down
to him. Along the way he'll whip out his tentacles again and either shoot some
lasers around in a circle or a tentacle will go under water, pop up in front of
you and blast a laser at you. Once you get near Sapientia, he'll try to smash
you with his claw and then either shoot a giant fireball at you or just try to
eat you. Go in and attack him and after a few rounds of this attack pattern,
he'll send oyu back to the top. Repeat this entire process until he goes down
for good.

O-------------O------------------O
| New Enemies | Broken W. Hearts |
O-------------O------------------O
| Jeanne | 2 |
O-------------O------------------O

This is pretty much a straight forward level. You're flying on a rocket so
there's absolutely no way you can get lost, but as you notice there are two
Broken Witch Hearts to obtain here but we'll get to those in a second. As
you're flying on your new toy, you'll encounter several Affinities and
Decorations as well as a few other enemies. Pretty much the majority of the
enemies here will fire projectiles at you so get ready to dodge constantly if
you can't kill them fast enough.

Eventually you'll run into a blue Inspired. Wait for it to start coming your
way and then dodge the fireballs it spews to enable witch time to damage it as
much as possible. Eventually two Affinities and an Applaud will land on your
missile. It's very important to have one full magic bar here. In order to get
the first Broken Witch Heart, you MUST USE A TORTURE ATTACK on the APPLAUD
that's on the rocket, not the Affinities. It must be executed on the Applaud
when it's the last enemy remaining. Upon doing so, it'll drop the first
[BROKEN WITCH HEART].

Eventually you'll run into the first mini-boss so to speak. It's a giant
flying bird thing but he's easy to take care of. He'll fire two rounds of
those blue energy balls and then spew fireballs. Dodge the fireballs to eanble
witch time and let loose. Rinse and repeat. Eventually another set of
Affinities and an Applaud will drop down on the missile so remember to use a
torture attack on the Applaud to get the second [BROKEN WITCH HEART].
You'll run into three Inspireds and then at the very end, you'll fight another
version of Temperantia. Not too hard of a fight but watch out for the
Decorations that appear every now and then. They'll fire those blue energy
balls at you.

After it's all said and done, a scene will play out and you'll have one final
showdown with Jeanne. Yes, technically she's not a new enemy but the game
decided to make it seem like she was so I threw it in here. The first part of
the fight isn't that bad since it's exactly like the past fights with her.
After that though things start changing. She'll start spamming her blade attack
and her wicked weaves like it's no one's business so make sure to be ready to
dodge at the right moments. During one of the phases, she'll launch a missile
at you. Push Y+B to counter this. It'll be a game of catch so keep pushing
Y+B until the missile explodes in her face, damaging her a lot. She'll often
rush at you in her beast form if you stray too far and when she does this,
she'll immediately start attacking you with her blade once she comes out of it
so be wary. After that her attack pattern is pretty much the same so keep
going until you win.

Yay.

After the scene, if you try to break the statues in front of you, a Fairness
and Fearless will pop out of them. Right from the beginning, look to your right
and you should see another hallway on the other side. Transform into either a
beast or a crow and get to the other side. There's a chest over here that
contains a [BROKEN WITCH HEART]. Jump back over and continue along the main
path. Eventually you'll have to fight some Decorations and two Ardors. You
should know how to take care of them by now.

After defeating them, proceed and go through the automatic door that opens for
you. How nice. Run down this hallway to fight a few Braves. Go past the barrier
once you defeat them and you'll eventually run into a set of Grace & Glory
statues. Guess what? Yup, you're going to be fighting them. Head through the
nearby door once you dispose of them and run down the hall. At the end you'll
fight three Joys. Once they're taken care of, continue on to find some
Enchants. Once you destroy them, another Grace & Glory will come out so waste
them.

Continue along and eventually another Temperantia will start breaking the walls
down. Ignore him and run to the end of this hallway. Some Affinities will spawn
here so take them out and go past the barrier. You'll run into Temperantia
again but this time you have to take him out but you can't reach him. So how
do we do it? Well, the game spoils it for you right off the bat and zooms in on
the cannon nearby so hop in. Start shooting him and as he starts throwing rocks
at you, dodge them to jump out of the cannon. After you do enough damage he'll
bring his fist up and ready to punch you. Get out of the canning you're in
immediately as he's going to blow it up. Hop in the other cannon and finish the
job off.

Before advancing any further, head back all the way to the start and to where
you got the Broken Witch Heart. There's an Alfheim Portal here now. This one
pissed me off but after 20 tries I was able to finally beat it. Witch time is
disabled for this one but the catch here is that the enemies are on fire with
the exception of the Graces at the end. Equip the Shuraba and use the YBY combo
for the most effective way of fighting. You get another [BROKEN WITCH HEART]
for winning this one.

Head back to where you fought that Temperantia and proceed along the main
path, picking up the Antonio Document along the way. Break the door to your
left. Push the buttons that appear on your screen and start heading up the
elevator shaft. Along the way you'll have to fight Iustitia again. He's got
the same attack patterns as last time AND he has a lot less health this time
around so you should know what to do. Jump down the hole at the end of the
elevator shaft and continue along the path. You'll find a Gate of Hell along
the way.

Right past the Gates of Hell, you'll notice some floating platforms. Don't jump
on them just yet. Instead go right and head down this hall to find a chest
sitting in a corner. Break it open to find another [BROKEN WITCH HEART]. Now
go over to those floating platforms and jump on them to reach the top. Head
straight ahead and drop down the next opening you see in the ground. Once you
land, take out the Affinities. There's another chest down here so open it up.
Jump back up to the top level and grab the Antonio Document here. Look for a
giant blue cylinder looking thing and run up it. Turn the key and some
platforms will appear.

The ones you're on will disappear soon but you should be able to make it
across to safety before they all disappear so jump across them and keep going
straight ahead until you reach solid ground. Defeat the Affinities that appear
here and wait for the platforms to appear near you and go in the same
direction you were going before. You should see a lone platform once you reach
the other side so cancel witch walk on it to find a lone chest. Open it up for
the final [BROKEN MOON PEARL] of the game.

Now, rotate the camera around from where you are and you'll see two more
platforms; one with two doors and another one an Antonio Document and another
chest. Fly over to the one with the chest and open it up for the next to last
[BROKEN WITCH HEART]. Once you pick up the Antonio Document here, you should
get the achievement for picking all of them up. Now head back to the platform
where the final Broken Moon Pearl was it. To reach the platform with the two
doors, turn into a crow and fly over there. Once you get near the open door,
a Golem will appear. You should know what to do by now.

Enter the door once you defeat the Golem and start climbing the elevator shaft.
As you get near the top Sapientia will appear. All you have to do is hit the
core on his face and just dodge his claws and when he tries to bite you. Not
too hard. Once you defeat him, turn into a beast and start running up the
wall. You may be in the explosion but as long as you keep running you'll be
fine. You'll break through a window once you reach the top. Break the chains
holding the spher up and then run up the light pathway, enter the device you
come across and the chapter will end.

(BCH16)

O---------------O
| New Enemies |
O---------------O
| Father Balder |
O---------------O

After the lengthy scene, it's time for another boss fight in Father Balder.
While this fight isn't easy, it's not exactly the hardest fight in the game
either. For the first phase all Balder will do is swing his light sword at you
three times and shoot a blue orb that'll follow you around temporarily. When
he's swinging his sword, keep your distance and stop attacking and if possible,
dodge the third swing to enter witch time. Nothing too hard. Once you take off
all his health, enter Climax mode and then watch it fail.

The second phase of the fight is pretty much the same as the first phase except
that Balder will lift a building to throw at you, try to fry you with a
light beam, and will try to smash your face in by throwing a satellite at you.
When the building starts coming at you, push Y+B to toss it back at him. He
shouldn't counter it but if he does, push Y+B again until it connects. For
the light beam, all you have to do is jump over to a new platform before the
beam connects. For the satellite, this is going to be a nice game of catch so
when it gets near, push Y+B when it appears on your screen and do this about
four or five more times until it hurts him. Again, Climax mode will fail once
you take off all his health.

The third phase, as expected, is going to be the hardest but it's still not
a huge step up in difficulty. Balder will do nothing but spaz out with his
light sword now so be on constant dodging duties as he'll rarely stop
swinging his sword around. Whenever you see a small opening or if you're able
to get into witch time, take advantage of it and hit him as much as possible.
This time, your Climax will work but you have to guide the bullet Bayonetta
shoots at Balder's head to win this fight.

Perhaps Bayonetta put it best. Don't fuck with a witch.

O-------------O------------------O------------O
| Jubileus | 1 | 1 |
O-------------O------------------O------------O

This is it. It's all or nothing. After the scene, you'll be controlling Jeanne
as she rides her motorcycle. Watch out as the enemies behind you will try
anything to hit you so either shoot at them or get ready to dodge. Eventually
you'll have to start jumping across some rocks during a time limit. Once you
get off the motorcycle, go the only way possible. After a small scene, dodge
the fireballs that come your way and eventually you'll reach where the statue
is.

Start climbing the statue and once you get near the end, approach it slowly but
right before you reach the top, go all the way back down to find the final
Alfheim Portal. All you have to do here is used wicked weaves and I dunno why
but I was able to breeze through this one. After winning, you'll get the final
[BROKEN WITCH HEART] in the game. If you've been following this guide, you
should have two full health bars and gotten the achievements for finding and
completeing the Alfheim Portals as well as a full magic bar.

Once you're done, now run to the top of the statue for a scene. Here's the
final boss of the game, Jubileus. There are a handful of parts to this fight
so I'll go ahead and break it down one by one.

Phase 1: Not too bad of a phase but it might be annoying because of the
"bullets" that home in on you while you're trying to attack Jubileus herself.
Start running around the battle field and Jubileus will unleash those bullets
after you and slam some statues into the ground that will most likely shoot
fireballs at you. Run in and attack those if at all possible. Just repeat this
process until Phase 2 starts.

Phase 2: Jubileus will engulf the entire area into a volcano like area, just
like Chapter 3. The fire obviously will hurt you. You have to hunt down all
of the statues here (Okay, so maybe they're not statues but I don't know what
the hell they really are) and take them all down. The areas where you can land
tend to be a bit smaller than usual so make sure you know where you're jumping
and where you're landing. The lava that shoots out of the ground doesn't make
this any easier though. Once you get close to one of those statues, it'll spit
a couple of fireballs out so dodge and take them out. Once all of them are
taken care of, you'll have to jump across some rocks and attack Jubileus's
head. Once you do this, she'll become temporarily stunned so stake advantage
of this since it doesn't last very long.

Phase 3: This time the entire area will be covered in ice and to me, this is
the second hardest and second most annoying part of this fight. If you so much
touch the ice just slightly, you'll be frozen and you'll have to move the left
analog stick back and forth left and right until you break free. What makes
this annoying is the fact that when you unfreeze yourself, some ice might come
out of the ground, hit you, and freeze you again and it can do this over and
over and over again as much as it likes. It's pretty much the same procedure
as last time, though. Take care of all of the statues and then jump across
the rocks and smash Jubileus's face in.

Phase 4: The area will be split into many rocks this time and you have to jump
across them to take out all of the statues. The only dangerous part about this
is the fact that if you take too long on a rock, a light beam will come
crashing down towards so you make sure to jump off as fast as possible. Once
you take care of all the statues, you'll have to jump across the rocks and
start hitting Jubileus in the head yet again.

Phase 5: This is easily the most annoying and hardest part of the fight to me.
The first thing Jubileus tends to do is send out a couple of blue waves at you
that'll chase you around. If they hit you, you'll be transformed into a little,
defenseless Cereza. The best way to avoid this is to double jump and turn into
a crow until they disappear. After this Jubileus will try to smash you with
her fists. She'll strike three times so make sure to dodge the third one at the
last second to enable witch time and attack her hand. However the most annoying
part of this fight is when she puts a black hole in the middle of the battle
field. THIS WILL KILL YOU INSTANTLY SO PAY ATTENTION WHEN IT COMES OUT. When
you see this move coming, quickly turn into a beast and start running away.
It'll try to suck you in but you should be far enough away to be in a safe
zone. You'll know it's coming when a black aura forms around Jubileus and there
are a handful of statues in the ground.

Phase 6: Now that the cheap ass "insta-kill-black-hole-of-assness" is done
with, this form isn't too bad. All you're doing is taking down those statues
that come down one by one by attack them or attacking her hand whenever she
tries to punch you. After you bring her down to her final bar of health and
do enough damage, you'll get the option to climax her.

Phase 7: Run up your hair and dodge Jubileus when she brings her hand to either
swipe at you or brings her fist back and tries to punch you. If she brings
her right hand back, she's going to punch you. If she brings her left hand out,
she's going to swipe so time accordingly. Once you reach the top, you'll have
to Climax her again. To finish the fight, constantly attack the head.

Phase 8: Ha. Thought you were done? Well, not quite. You may have won the
physical portion of the fight but not the entire fight. You now have to guide
her into the sun while dodging all sorts of planets. Honestly, I can't really
give you any advice or tips here since it's self explanatory on what to do
and it honestly isn't that hard. Once she burns in the sun, then victory is
yours.

Hoorah! You've defeated Jubileus and have beaten the game! Except you haven't.
During the "credits", a small scene will play out and you have to destroy the
remaining parts of Jubileus. You have about 1:30 to do it but you should be
able to finish well ahead of the time limit.

Okay, NOW the credits will roll but during them, you'll get three bonus fights.
One against Jeanne, one against some Affinities and an Applaud and one against
the same enemies in the second fight.

And there you go, you've beaten Bayonetta. Congratulations! I hope my guide was
able to help you out.

All of the chests will be listed here so that you can get the Treasure Fanatic
achievement. All of the chests are in the walkthrough itself but I put these
in their own section just incase you wanted to print this out and use it as a
checklist, which is why I made it look like one.

Chapter 1
---------

__ #1: You're required to get this one. It's down in the sewer you come across
and contains a key to advance further.

__ #2: When you reach the garden area, explore around the right side to find
it.

Chapter 2
---------

__ #3: When you reach the city of Vigrid, look around the right side of the
area for a chest. It contains an Arcade Bullet. For reference, there's also an
Antonio's Document near it.

__ #4: In the area with two Beloveds, go to the center of town and you'll spot
a chest to your left and to your right tucked away in alleys.

__ #5: See above. Just get the other one.

__ #6: In the area where you have to defeat two Applauds in order to repair the
broken statue, it's sitting in plain view.

Chapter 3
---------

__ #7: It's in the same place as Chest #3 and it's right at the start.

__ #8: It's where the same two chests are from Chapter 2; Chests #4 and #5.

__ #9: After defeating the two Fairnesses, you'll wind up in a cave. Turn
around right from the start to find it.

__ #10: Outside of the cave in which you have to witch walk up a wall that
leads to the end of the chapter, take the left path from the entrance to find
this chest.

__ #11: After reaching the top of the wall that leads to the end of the
chapter, you'll see a huge rock as you run forward. There's a small path that
leads to the left behind this rock.

Chapter 5
---------

__ #12: After defeating the Harmonies that make their first appearance, there's
a chest to the right of the stairs leading up.

__ #13: To the left of the Gates of Hell, there's a ledge you can drop off of.
The chest is down here.

__ #14: As you make your way up the windy pathway leading to the introduction
of the Inspired, there's a fountain to your left. The chest is in this area.

__ #15: Past the second Gates of Hell, there are seveal stairwells to jump on.
The chest is near the top on a single platform all by itself.

Chapter 6
---------

__ #16: Right at the beginning of the Chapter, turn around and you'll see the
chest right behind you.

__ #17: After the very first fight of the Chapter against some Affinities and
an Ardor, wall jump off the wall to your left and double jump to the top. The
next chest is sitting up here.

__ #18: When you reach the room with the broken witch statue in the middle of
the room, drop down off the ledge and run left. Break the rocks to reveal the
next chest.

__ #19: Right before using the portal at the end to exit Paradiso, check
behind it to find the next chest.

Chapter 9
---------

__ #20: Right at the beginning of the level, jump across the light platforms
and you'll see a grassy island. There's a platform that you can land on that's
right next to the wall. Land on it and you should see the chest sitting in the
corner.

__ #21: In this same area, after defeating the first set of enemies in the
Chapter, there are two sun doors at the opposite ends of the area you're at.
One contains a chest.

__ #22: You actually have to open this one and the next four anyways but it
wouldn't be complete if I didn't put these in. In Vigrid, the Golem will break
apart the key into five different parts. Open all five chests.

__ #23: See above.

__ #24: See #22.

__ #25: See #22.

__ #26: See #22.

__ #27: After reforming the key from Chests #22-#26, go plug it into the hole
(that's what she said) and jump across the light platforms. The chest is in
plain view and very hard to miss.

__ #28: After defeating the Kinships, a portal will appear for you to take.
However, take a left right before it to find the next chest.

__ #29: Right after the Gates of Hell in the areas with the several Golems,
there's actually a lower area that you can reach. It's easier if you have
Crow Within so you can fly over to it. Run across the light platforms and drop
through the opening that comes by, turn into a crow and fly to it. At the top
of the stairs is another sun wall. Break it down.

__ #30: After defeating the Golem at the end, take the left staircase to find
the next chest.

Chapter 10
----------

__ #31: Right at the beginning, after forming the key at the center of Vigrid,
turn it so that it goes to the right until it connects with a lone platform.
The chest is on this platform.

__ #32: After getting Chest #31, start going back but before going back to
the key, stop when you reach the arch leading back to town. Double jump to the
top of it to find the next chest.

__ #33: After defeating the three Kinships, jump across them and you'll see a
light platform behind the last one. The chest is on this one.

__ #34: Right after opening Chest #33, look to your right to find another light
platform in the distance. Turn into a crow and fly over to it and open the
chest on it.

__ #35: Right near the Gates of Hell, like literally right next to it, there's
a fake wall. Break it and turn into a beast and double jump over to the
hidden platform. Defeat the Grace & Glory and then the chest is all yours.

Chapter 12
----------

__ #36: Right at the beginning, head straight head and jump over the railings
and land below. Go right and there's a chest straight ahead of you.

__ #37: If you hug along the left side of the area in the first room of the
Chapter, you'll see a pair of doors near one of the wicked weaves that try
to kill you. Destroy these doors for the chest.

__ #38: This one is also in the very first room of the Chapter. It's in plain
sight and it's where you fight the first Affinities of the Chapter.

__ #39: In the room where the crates fall through the hatch, there's a chest
sitting on a ledge high in the air to the left so turn into a crow to fly into
it. I find it's better to stand near the door that leads into the area and fly
from there.

Chapter 15
----------

__ #40: Right at the start of the level, if you look to your right you'll see
another hallway in which you can jump over to as a beast. At the end is
another chest.

__ #41: Right past the Gates of Hell you'll see some floating platforms.
Instead of jumping on them, runt to the end of the hall to the right of you to
find the next chest.

__ #42: After getting Chest #41, jump on those floating platforms and once at
the top, run straight ahead and you'll find another opening in the ground. Drop
down and run to the end to find another chest.

__ #43: After you activate those platforms after turning the key on the blue
cylinder, head straight ahead past the first safety platforms to the next set
of safety platforms. There's a lone platform nearby that has the next chest.

__ #44: Right from where you are, move the camera around and you'll spot
another chest. Fly over to it as a crow to open it. This one should net you the
Treasure Fanatic achievement.

===================
5.) Alfheim Portals
===================
(ALFP)

This will list the Alfheim Portals and their stipulations.

Chapter 1
---------

__ #1: Before riding the lift that leads to the city, go back to where you
found the key earlier on to find the first Portal. The stipulation here is to
defeat all the enemies in witch time.

Chapter 2
---------

__ #2: After jumping over the run away train, run back up the hill to find the
gate broken. The next portal is in there. The stipulation for this one is that
you have to beat a Beloved with a maximum of seven punches and six kicks.

__ #3: There's a tunnel by the burning train that just crashed. Double jump by
it to find the next portal on top of the arch. There are no stipulations for
this one and it's the only one that has no stipulations.

__ #4: After defeating the two Beloveds, backtrack as far as possible. The
stipulation this time is that you have to kill six enemies with torture
attacks.

Chapter 3
---------

__ #5: Right at the start, defeat the enemies and go backwards from where you
started and go up some stairs. Destroy the trash can up here and the next
Alfheim Portal will appear on the right side of the area, by the treasure chest
in the area. The stipulation is you have to stay in the air for 20 seconds.

__ #6: When you reach the witch statues, take the stairs going down and at the
bottom, jump up to the balcony to find the next one. You can only use Angel
Arms for this one.

__ #7: In Paradiso, drop down to the bottom level and go right to find the next
portal. You have to defeat the enemies here without witch time.

__ #8: After repairing the big bridge in the Catacombs, start backtracking
through the caves and you'll eventually reach the next portal. You have to kill
all the enemies here with wicked weaves. YBY with Shuraba will do the job here.

Chapter 5
---------

__ #9: After defeating Grace & Glory, go back to the beginning of the Chapter.
You have to defeat all the enemies with witch time.

__ #10: As you're climbing that huge tunnel that has a few Harmonies in it,
drop back down to the bottom of the area after defeating the Harmonies to find
it. You have to stay in the air for 60 seconds for this one. Just use Kulshedra
for an easy win since it'll pull enemies next to you and you can jump off of
them that way.

__ #11: Once you reach the windy pathway, take the path going down first to
find the next portal. You have to defeat Grace & Glory using only 10 punches
and 10 kicks. Shuraba is your best friend here.

Chapter 6
---------

__ #12: After defeating the enemies in the spike room, backtrack to where you
fought the two Inspired to fight this portal. You have to kill five enemies
here with torture attacks.

Chapter 9
---------

__ #13: After defeating the first set of enemies in this Chapter, destroy the
walls that have suns on them in this area. They're on opposite ends of the
island. One of them contains the portal. You have to defeat all of the enemies
while out of body. For an easy win, equip a Gaze of Despair to attract all the
attention to you rather than your body.

__ #14: After defeating the Kinships, jump on the one that's on the left and
fly over to the light platform using Crow Within to find the next portal. You
just need to defeat Jeanne here.

__ #15: After killing the Golem at the end of the Chapter, backtrack to where
you fought the three Joys from earlier. You have to defeat Fairness and
Fearless with 13 punches and kicks. Durga is your friend here when you charge
it up right in their faces.

Chapter 10
----------

__ #16: After putting all four cogs into place, rotate the key so that the
island connects to the lone platform on the right. The portal is right by the
chest. You have to use wicked weaves here.

__ #17: After reaching the Gates of Hell, start retracing your steps and you'll
run into the next Alfheim Portal along the way. You have to use Angel Arms
here.

Chapter 12
----------

__ #18: After climbing back up to the plane while jumping across the falling
crates, make your way back to the beginning of the Chapter. Defeat the enemies
that appear to make the next Alfheim Portal active. You have to defeat all of
the enemies while out of body.

__ #19: Right by the Gates of Hell is a door you need to break it down. Do so
and have your back to the camera as you ride the moving platform. Along the way
you'll notice a propeller to your left. Jump in and use the Affinities to go
into witch time so you can run past the blades. At the end is the next Alfheim
Portal. You have to defeat a Golem here while in witch time.

Chapter 15
----------

__ #20: After defeating Temperantia, run back to the beginning of the level and
look across to find another platform with the Alfheim Portal there. Use beast
mode to jump over to it. Witch time is disabled here and all of the enemies
with the exception of the two Graces at the end are on fire. Use the YBY combo
with Shuraba and push RT after each one to get some distance to use it again.
Repeat the process.

Epilogue
--------

__ #21: As Jeanne, as you start climbing the giant statue after ditching your
motorcycle, climb all the way up to the head but instead of going up there,
run back down to the bottom to find the final Alfheim Portal. You have to use
wicked weaves to damage your enemies.

again and you'll see another split in the road. Take the right path and you'll
eventually drive into it.

Chapter 9
---------

__ #21: In the first area, you have to jump across some light platforms. You'll
eventually see a grassy looking area. There's a platform that you can land on
that's right by the wall so instead of jumping onto the island itself, jump on
the platform. There's a chest in view. That's where it is.

__ #22: After putting together the key that the Golem smashes, cross the light
platforms. The chest that contains this one is in plain sight.

__ #23: Reward for beating Alfheim Portal #14.

turn right and open the chest ahead of you.

__ #31: Reward for beating Alfheim Portal #18.

__ #32: In a chest in the second room, where the crates fell through the hatch.
It's on a platform that requires you to fly to it on the left side of the room.

__ #33: Reward for beating Alfheim Portal #19.

enemy with a torture attack to get this piece.

__ #35: Same as #34.

railings as a beast and open the chest at the end.

__ #37: Reward for beating Alfheim Portal #20.

__ #38: Past the Gates of Hell, ignore the floating platforms and open the
chest at the end of the hall to your right.

__ #39: After crossing the disappearing platforms and getting near the exit,
open the chest near the Antonio Document.

Epilogue
--------

__ #40: Reward for beating Alfheim Portal #21.

===================
9.) Enemies
===================
(ENMY)

This section will list all of the enemies in the game and the order they
appear in.

Affinity
--------

This is pretty much the grunt of the entire game. They have very easy attack
patterns that you can dodge without too much of a hassle. They come in
different kinds. There's an Affinity that has a staff, an Affinity that has
a swinging mace and an Affinity that uses a tuba. The last one can shoot
fireballs from that tuba but overall, these guys shouldn't give you any
trouble at all and they hardly do any damage.

Applaud
-------

These guys are pretty much bigger versions of Affinities but they're still not
too tough. There are two versions of these guys; Blue and Red. The Blue ones
often stay on the ground and use a sword while the Red ones use a bow. They can
sometimes catapult themselves across the screen to try and hit you and it's a
pretty quick attack but in the end, their attacks are easily readable and you
should be able to handle plenty of them at once without too much trouble.

Beloved
-------

Next to the Affinity, this guy is probably the easiest enemy in the entire
game. They're big and powerful but they're slower than George Bush at a
spelling bee. They bring their weapons back, giving you plenty of time to get
ready to dodge their axe as they swing it forward. It's so easy to read that
you should have no trouble dodging them and enabling witch time. Just make sure
not to stand too close since they can reach out and behind to grab you and hurt
you.

Dear & Decorations
------------------

Another enemy that isn't threatning. All they do is try to ram into you,
albeit slowly, but they at least try. They can also shoot fireballs and the
Dear and put up a barrier around itself at times but other than that, that's
all they have. The Decorations often fall in a couple of hits from your weapon
while the Dear is easy enough by itself. Nothing too hard here.

Enchant
-------

This enemy is more annoying than hard, honestly. Basically all it does is set
itself on fire and charge at you. You can usually stop them from being on fire
by hitting them with a few bullets from your gun and then they're free game
and won't charge at you. Overall, they're still one of the low tier enemies.

Fairness
--------

It's a puppy dog but this one doesn't want a treat or a pat on the head. His
moves are very simplistic but on higher difficulty levels, he's very agile,
especially when he hacks up a fireball, so make sure to take caution as you
fight one or two of these pups. Sometimes they'll often let out a roar and if
you don't dodge, it'll freeze you temporarily and you have to get out of it
before he either charges at you or hits you with a fireball. If you get too
close, it'll pounce and either swipe at you or put you in its mouth and toss
you around for a second. However, sometimes when he charges, he'll run right
into the wall and he'll be stunned for a few seconds so take that opportunity
to damage him. On higher difficulty levels, Fairness can be a pain but if
you're playing on Normal or lower, he's not too much of a threat.

Grace & Glory
-------------

To me, these guys are the hardest non-boss enemies in the game and this holds
true for Hard and above. They're very, very agile and it's hard to combo them
if you can't hit them into the air since they'll sidestep out of your hits and
try to hit you. Their most dangerous attack is when they bring their claw
across the ground and knock you into the air to combo you. These guys hurt
A LOT on Hard and Nonstop Climax so it's in your best interest to be VERY
careful as you take on these guys. There's also a second version of them later
on that's even harder because it's very hard to enable witch time against those
versions and they seem to be quicker and stronger. Easily the most dangerous
enemy in the game.

Fearless
--------

This is just like a Fairness except instead of being a red puppy dog, he's a
blue puppy dog, meaning his element of choice is lightning. He fights exactly
like Fairness but has two different moves; He'll either shoot a stream of
electricity from his mouth or he'll try to stab you with his tail as he slowly
walks around you. Other than that, he fights just like Fairness. Fearless and
Fairness often come together though so be wary. If I had to pick which one to
take out first, I'd take out the Fearless first.

Harmony
-------

One of the few flying enemies in the game, these guys are very simplistic and
their moves are easily noticeable. Usually they just chill out, cruising
through the air. Once you start attacking them, the others around the ones
you're attacking will start turning blue. When this happens, they're about to
strike so get ready to dodge. They can also shoot out electrical orbs at you
and shoot out three blue orbs that slowly come at you and are easily dodgeable.
Not too tough but on Hard and Nonstop, they can come in large numbers.

Ardor
-----

This is pretty much an Applaud, except stronger, quickly, and it has more armor
on and it can often break you out of a combo more often. While not extremely
dangerous, they can still do quite a bit of damage since if you get too close,
they have a very quick thrust that can be hard to dodge at first which leads to
a three hit combo. They'll also bring their swords above their heads, charge,
and then lunge forward to hit you so at least that move is easily dodgeable.
I'd say they're a mid-tier enemy, maybe borderline high tier but while they
may not be extremely dangerous, it's best not to get careless around them.

Inspired
--------

Well, there has to be a dragon type enemy eventually. These guys are also easy
to read as they don't do much. They'll usually hover around the air for a bit
before diving into water if there is water or they'll try to fly into you if
you're on land. The best way to take them out is to fire your gun at them until
they're stunned. Attack them a few times and they'll get into an attack pose.
Wait for them to shoot out a fireball, dodge at the last second to enable witch
time and let loose. Rinse and repeat. Not all that challenging.

Joy
---

A unique enemy to say the least. These guys live on melee fighting for the
most part but from time to time, they'll use a whip to try to damage you from
afar. If you get too close they'll either try to ram into you with a kick or
they'll knock you into the air and slap you around with their swords for
awhile. They usually come in packs of three on Normal so if you can, try to
separate them or try to get into witch time as much as possible. It's also
worth noting that Torture Attacks take off more than 3/4's of their health so
if you have the spare magic and you're getting your ass beat, consider snapping
them in half.

Irenic
------

Honestly, I don't even know what the shit this thing is. It's like an Angelic
Car or something. Maybe it does drive bys? Either way they only appear in the
Chapter Route 666, so yeah.

Braves
------

A smaller, quicker version of the Beloved. They have the same movesets but the
nasty thing about them is that they can usually combine to form a Great Brave
and don't lose speed or power or anything but since they fight just like
Beloveds, you should be able to read their moves easily. Not too bad overall
and you shouldn't have too much trouble.

Kinship
-------

I hate, hate, HATE these asscrackers. They'll generally fire a handful of
missiles at you and if you can't dodge them, you're going to get hurt. A lot.
Especially if you're playing on Hard or Nonstop. They generally come in groups
of two or three but the good part is that they only appear a few times in the
game so you won't be seeing them consistently over the game. Even then though
when you fight them, the missiles are annoying when you're trying to hit their
backs, as well as the lasers they can shoot. And let's not forget the chains
that come out of nowhere to smack you. An annoying enemy indeed.

Golem
-----

This guy isn't that bad considering you can use a cheap tactic by staying in
close so he'll do almost nothing but turn into hands and try to smash you.
Those forms are easy methods to get into witch time. The other forms he can
take are the form of a dragon in which he snaps and tries to eat you and he can
transform into a bird and will either dive bomb you or shoot tornados at you.
The only way to damage him is to hit the red orb that appears after he
transforms and the best way to do that is to get close, make him turn into a
pair of hands, enable witch time and attack it.

10.) Bosses
===================
(BABO)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Repeat this entire process until he goes down
for good.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yay.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nice and Relaxed (5)
--------------------

Dodge 10 enemy attacks with the Moon of Mahaa-Kalaa equipped.

Nice Try (20)
-------------

Enable witch time 10 consecutive times. Not too hard to get. I'm not sure if
you can use the witch statues that are spread throughout the game to get this
achievement but there are a couple of Alfheim Portals that require you to use
witch time to damage enemies so you can get it that way as well.

Platinum! (20)
--------------

You have to earn 10 Platinum medals in 10 different battles as you proceed
through the game.

Record Collector (10)
---------------------

You have to get three complete Golden LPs in the game. Check the walkthrough
or the Golden LP section as to where to find them.

Record Fanatic (20)
-------------------

You have to get seven complete Golden LPs. There are only six in the main game.
You can get a seventh one by either beating Hard mode or completeing 100 total
chapters.

Temperantia, Manipulator of Wind (15)
-------------------------------------

Beat Temperantia on any difficulty level.

The Deepest Cut (20)
--------------------

Kill 20 enemies using the charge up attack of the Shuraba. You have to use the
second part of the charge where the blade nearly covers the entire screen.

The Ice Witch (20)
------------------

Freeze 20 enemies while wearing Odette. I found it easier to just go through
Chapter 1 all over again and just use kick attacks until the enemies freeze.

The Path to the Heavens (30)
----------------------------

DISCOVER all of the Alfheim Portals, not complete them. You just have to find
all of them.

Touch and it Will Hurt (15)
---------------------------

Counter 10 attacks by using the Moon of Mahaa-Kalaa. You just have to push the
left analog stick in the direction of the enemy right before their attacks hit
you.

Touch and it Will REALLY Hurt (25)
----------------------------------

This one is a bit tricky to get. You have to counter three consecutive attacks
by an enemy using the Moon of Mahaa-Kalaa. You have to push the left analog
stick at the right exact time to enable witch time. You have to do that three
straight times. It's kind of hard to explain the timing since the window is
very, very small so you just have to experiment. I'd recommend doing this on
the Beloved in Chapter 1 since you can see his attacks coming and they're easy
to time.

Tread Not So Softly (10)
------------------------

You get this by killing an enemy as you jump off of them. You're guaranteed to
get this one in the Alfheim Portals that require you to stay in the air for 20
or 60 seconds. If you don't want to do it that way, you can use a Decoration
in either Chapter 1 or in the Prologue to jump off of.

Treasure Collector (10)
-----------------------

Open half of the Umbra Chests in the game. Check the walkthrough or the Umbra
Chest Location section of the walkthrough.

Treasure Collector (20)
-----------------------

Open all of the Umbra Chests in the game. Check the walkthrough or the Umbra
Chest Location section of the walkthrough.

Truth in its Purest Form (30)
-----------------------------

Collect all of the Antonio Documents in the game. Check the walkthrough to see
where they're at.

Wicked Weaver (10)
------------------

You have to use a wicked weave attack by using a Dodge Offest. What's a Dodge
Offset? You have to use a dodge while charging in the middle of a combo and
then finish your combo off with a wicked weave. For example, equip the Shuraba
and do this; P -> K (charge) -> Dodge -> P. When you dodge and punch, your
wicked weave will activate.

Wicked Weave Master (20)
------------------------

Use 20 wicked weaves by using Dodge Offset.

You Want to Touch Me? (10)
--------------------------

Use witch time 10 times.
