As you take damage this meter will decrase. To regenerate your health you must gain experience by fighting enemies or solving Riddles. When your health is depleted you will "die" and must restart from the previous checkpoint. Experience is gained by fighting and solving Riddles. Experience can be significantly greater if you are able to create combos during combat. For example, if you have a 5X combo you will gain more experience than you would with a 2X combo. Your experience gained can be used to purchased new abilities and upgrades. __________________________________________________ [BMCBT] Combat __________________________________________________ As you all should know, Batman is a martial arts expert and is very well trained in relaying that to his enemies. Combat in Arkham Asylum is most done by two buttons, the strike and counter buttons. Using the counter button while enemies have bolts over their heads will avoid damage to yourself by countering the enemies attack. A ground takedown will incapacitate downed enemies and can be done by pressing the crouch and counter buttons simultaneously. To disarm an enemy you can use the cape stun command, this will not knock down your adversary but will simply stun them and give you an opportunity to unleash a more powerful attack. Using you Batarang ideal for stunning larger enemies. You can also use silent takedowns to eliminate your enemies, while behind an enemy use the counter command to take out an enemy without causing a disturbance. You're Batman, not at all restricted to sitting on the ground! You can use gargoyles to gain an advantage on enemies. While on the high ground you can glide kick to knock down an enemy or do an interverted takedown with the counter button on enemies below. Combos are gained when you attack enemies without yielding, you can also tap the run button to use as a buffer in between enemies. When you achieve certain combos you will temporarily unlock new moves as long as you hold the combo, these combos will be shown on the bottom of your screen. __________________________________________________ [BMDET] Detective __________________________________________________ Using detective mode will highlight the area around you and will help you identify enemies and clues. Using detective mode towards an hostile will show you whether or not they are armed by showing them as blue or red and will give you their information on the right side of your screen. There are parts of the game where you must search for clues, you can use detective mode to follow the clues and complete objectives. Areas that require gadgets, such as destructible walls, can also be seen clearly in detective mode. Press the | Interview Tapes 2 | action button (run) and tap it to open the vent, | Chronicles 1 | crawl through to collect your very first Riddler | Riddles 3 | Trophy! |_________________________| Move towards the stairs where the Joker went, when you are able to leave the area do so. To your left is a mini tutorial for the Batarang where you can throw it at the Joker Teeth on the ground. These teeth are challenges so make sure you get them all, always keep an eye out for them. Continue down the halls and you will encounter two enemies, use the abilities that you practiced earlier to defeat them and go down the hallway to the right. Talk to Zach and you'll find out that Zsasz is holding a guard hostage and is threatening to kill him if he sees you. Go up the stairs ahead and up to the ledge. Enter detective mode and look up where you will see gargoyles on either side, use your grapple to get on the gargoyle and move over so you are looking at Zasz from either the left or right side. Perform a glide kick to knock down Zsasz, while he is down do a ground takedown. After the cutscene, move forward and to the right where you will find another vent, inside is a Riddler Tropy. Notice that there is also a destructible wall here (use detective mode to see) that you can come back to later on. Turn around and you will spot another vent, approach it and go down the air duct to pickup another Riddler Trophy. To your right is the vent exit, kick it out and drop down and Eddie will open the door and run. Make sure you get the Joker Teeth on the ground here. Around you corner you will witness a truely horrifying scene. Grapple up and open the vent. Rescue the guard hanging from the ledge around the corner, then grapple to the next platform and resue Steve. There is also a Blackgate prisoner that you can glide to on the last platform, rescuing him will net you an Achievement/Trophy. Now enter Detective Mode and target the control panel and throw a Batarang at it to clear the room of gas. Drop down to the main floor and clear it of Joker Teeth. There is also a floor gate in the middle of the room in the showers, open it and enter to get a Riddler Trophy. Follow the green arrows on the floor to the next door, next to the control panel you destroyed. Keep following the green arrows through the hall and you will run into a couple of thugs, go all the way down to the painted door to initiate a cutscene. When you fight the mutant throw Batarangs at it and stand in front of walls and dodge its charges. When it hits the walls it is your chance to unleash combo attacks, repeat until the enemy falls. Enter the control room to the left and speak the the guard in here. Use the map to navigate yourself back to the Holding Cells, when you are prompted to quickly throw a Batarang there will be two inmates standing over a deceased guard, take them out and go through the door on the right. In the room to your left enter Detective Mode and you fill find evidence. Approch the alcohol and analyze it. Follow the evidence trail down another hallway, when you hear a hpone ring there are Joker Teeth in the area. Go through the next door to begin a cutscene. On the other side of the fallen elevator are stairs, go up them and walk up to a desk with a computer and pickup and Interview Tape. Return to the elevator and grapple on to the platform on the left side of the area. Run across and jump over a gap and shimmy until you can crawl up. At the vent exit grapple higher and jump over another gap. Grapple once more and jump over the obstacles. There is a vent to your left but don't worry about it yet. Grapple on the higher ledge and jump on to the wall and shimmy across to the other side. You will eventually walk up on a beetle carved in the wall. Scan this in Detective Mode for a Spririt of Arkham Deciphered Message. If you are still in Detective Mode you may notice that tere are five unarmed henchmen nearby. Grapple on to the ledge and encounter them. Since they are not armed you shouldn't have any problems with them. Unleash strikes to raise your combo and gain more experience. There is a vent on the right side of this area, it will be your exit. At the end of the vent you will witness a murder, three armed enemies are waiting at the corridor for you. Since the direct approach is suicide, grapple to the gargoyle above. Swing to the last gargoyle and drop down, hold crouch to silently move towards the armed hostiles and press the counter button to silently take them down. Continue through the hall, if you are still in Detective Mode you'll notice that there is another armed thug in a room. Silently sneak up on him and knock him down as well. Open the vent cover in this room and crawl through, at the end you will see an enemy standing over two deceased guards. Take him out silently then grapple on the the walkway ledge behind another henchman. Do not perform a ledge takedown, instead wait for him to start walking into the office and do another silent takedown. From there grapple your way to the gargoyle at the end of the room and do an inverted takedown on the third hostile. If you haven't unlocked inverted takedown yet you can do a glide kick. When these three have been eliminated Joker will call in three more enemies to take you out. Stick to the gargoyles and stay out of site, taking them out one at a time. When all enemies are defeated go to the hall at the end and you will encounter The Riddler and his first challenge. Walk to the ladder and scan the portrait of Warden Sharp to solve the riddle. Before exiting the area go back to the center office where you took out your second enemy and look towards the half compelted question mark on the window. Line it up with a dot underneath a vent and scan it to solve the riddle. Now go speak with William North. Go down the stairs and open the door, when you do another riddle will appear. Walk ahead and you will hear a radio, it is sitting on a table across from lockers. Zoom in on "Jack Ryder" and scan to solve the riddle. Continue down the hall and through another door, open the vent and crawl through to the other side. once outside, move forward and grapple on the ledge once you reach a dead end. Make your way to the next ledge overlooking Arkham Mansion and a cutscene will begin. /\_____________________/\ /\______________________________________________/\ | || | | .-. .-. || [2ARKI] Arkham Island | | ,' . . From there look at |_________________________| Arkham Mansion, all the way across from you will be a courtyard with a high wall. Glide to it and grapple over the wall. Move forward and there will be a dead end, grapple up over the ledge and look behind a pillar for yet another Riddler Trophy. On the mansion is a clocktower, make your way to the top and right in front of the clock is a Riddler Trophy. Go to the western part of the tower and look down, you should see a Riddler Trophy on the roof, leap down and pick it up. From here run across the roof to your right until you get to a fence, look down and you will see a lighted path leading to a shack. Glide down to it and inside you will find a Riddler Trophy. Now that all of the trophies have been collected, use your map and make your way to the Batmobile. Behind the doors you will see an ambulance and behind it are two armed henchmen. Use the ambulance as cover and grapple on the wall, drop down on the other side and silently take them both out. Through the next door you will see five enemies attacking the Batmobile, none of them are armed. Run up and engage them, once all have them have been incapacitated open the trunk of the Batmobile and get the Explosive Gel. You will need to scan the area near the Batmobile for evidence, Gordon's pipe will be close by. The tobacco will guide you to an explosive wall, before following the trail jump on the roof of the building behind the Batmobile and use the explosive gel on the destructible spot. Inside the building is a secret map, pick it up and exit the building. Next to the Batmobile and between the two small buildings is a weakness spot in the ground, use your explosive gel here and pickup the Riddler Trophy underneath. Follow this road North to the gates and you will see a see-saw, scan it to solve the riddle in this area. Make your way towards the destroyed building next to the see-saw and you will se a question mark on the arch in the entrace. Line the question mark up using the dot on the ceiling and scan it. There is also a Riddler Trophy on the ground floor of this building. Move to the second guard tower and inside you will find another Interview Tape, then on the very top you will find another Riddler Trophy. Now follow the tobacco trail and blow up the wall. Go through the door and follow the path down, once you exit out the other side turn around and grapple on top of the ledge that shows "Arkham North" and grab the Riddler Trophy. There are two thugs ahead, take them out silently and move forward towards the Penitentiary. Grapple on the balcony and look out and you should see a large question mark below. Line it up with the dot on the railing to complete another Riddle. Drop down and to your right near the water is a building, enter and inside to the left you will find a crate is an Interview Tape on it (Tape 3/ ). Look to the guard tower ahead, underneath the tower is a Riddler Trophy hidden in the bushes (Trophy 10/ ). There is also a waterfall if you are looking towards Arkham North with a Riddler Trophy near it. There are five unarmed henchmen outside of the Medical Facility, take them out and keep an eye out for the teeth in front of the door. Grapple on the roof of the Medical Facility and go to your left and you should spot a destructible wall. Use explosives on the wall and drop down to enter the facility. /\_____________________/\ /\______________________________________________/\ | || | | .-. .-. || [3MEDW] Medical Facility | | ,' . . Once you have | Riddles 8 | cleared the room of thugs go to the doctors and |_________________________| find out where the others are. Before pursuing the three doctors search the area for challenges, there are Joker Teeth on the ground floor and in the North East room is a vent leading to a Riddler Trophy. There is also an Interview Tape just above the area with the vent on a desk. You may come across a cage with skeletons on the opposite end of the area, scan it in Detective Mode to solve a riddle. There is a destructible spot in the floor near the skeleton cage, blow it up and enter Detective Mode and line up the question mark to solve another riddle. Once you have cleared the room of challenges exit through the doors and follow the hallway straight, once you go down the stairs look up and to your left. Grapple to the vent and get the Riddler Tropy inside, now turn around and continue ahead to the X-Ray Room. There will be three unarmed thugs in the hallway, you should have no problem with them. Go through the doors and you will see a destructible wall with several armed henchmen on the other side, paste the wall with Explosive Gel but do not detonate right away. Grapple on to the roof and pickup the Riddler Trophy and drop down on the other side of the X-Ray Room and put Explosive Gel on this wall. Blow up the wall and speak to Dr. Young. Make your way back to the vent where you picked up the trophy, on the way you'll encounter a box of Joker Teeth but no enemies. Exit the vent and follow the blue line on the floor to the Obervation Room. You will run into two groups of henchmen on your way to rescue the doctor, they should pose no threat. Once you have reached the doors to the Observation Room you'll notice that they are blocked. Grapple on to the vent above the doors and on the higher part next to it to enter the air ducts. When you enter the Observation room you will see a thug hanging from a rope, throw your Batarang and he will drop to the ground. Now move over towards the gate on the platform and you will see a control panel, throw Batarang at it to lower the gas. Now glide to the next platform on the left, do it once more and turn around and throw a Batarang at the control panel below. Now control gliding to platforms until you come up to where the thug was hanging, throw a Batarang at the final control panel to relieve the room of gas. There is an Interview Tape in the office that the two guards exit. Exit the room through the same vent that you entered, the Joker has left another box of teeth outside for you to destroy. Make your way back through the halls and start following the red line when available. Go through the doors and into the Surgery Room. Approach Dr. Chen and you will be ambushed by several unarmed henchmen. Take them out as you've done before, some of them will try to grab weapons from the wall. Once you have rescued the final doctor exit the room and yet another gift from the Joker will be left for you. In this one is an enemy armed with tasers. Use your Cape Stun command to disarm the enemy and defeat him, remember to get the teeth! Return to the three doctors to initiate a cutscene. The Joker has sent three more armed goons to attack you, use the gargoyles as before and avoid hand to hand combat. Once they are all knocked out enter the elevator down to the Morgue. Next to you is a destructible wall, after blowing it up proceed through the lower corridor until you see Gordon, there will be a vent to your left, crawl through it and approach Jim on the other side. Head left down the hallway and through the doors into the Morgue. You will hear a voice, when you do go back to the doors and exit. Walk up to the body bags and open the right and left ones, then open the furthest one last. Turn around and jump across the platforms and to Scarecrow's maze. Avoid Scarecrow's beams, if he catches you he will kill you. Use the walls as cover, and you can crouch to use lower cover as well. When you get to a destructible wall slab Explosive Gel on it and blow it up while you are covered from Scarecrow. He will come in for a closer look and look to your right. When he looks to your left sprint across the gap and jump onto the platform and towards the stairs without hesitating, if you do, you will be caught. Move to the spotlight and activate it to defeat Scarecrow. When you return to the Morgue scan the jar next to the tables near the stairs to solve the riddle. Exit the Morgue and follow the green arrows on the ground to a door. There are three inmates at the door, when they break through take care of them and proceed. Enter the Experimental Chamber though the vent system and silently take down the thug looking away from you. Move through the vents to your right and take out the next hostile. There should be another enemy going down a walkway in front of you, drop behind him and silently take him out as well. There is one more enemy on the other side on the area, sneak up on him when his back is turned and perform the final takedown. There is a stuffed bear on a table in this room, scan it to solve a riddle. Move up the stairs towards Harley and Jim and grapple up and pick up the Riddler Trophy. Walk on the glass above Harley Quinn and press the counter button to start another cutscene. Dodge Bane's charges by double tapping the run button, throw Batarangs at him while he is charging you and when he hits the wall move in closer and attack him. You will automatically jump on his back and pull out the hoses while you attack him. The most important thing is to stay out of the way of the debris he throws at you. Joker will send henchmen to aid Bane, they should never be a priority. Position the henchmen in between Bane and yourself and they will be hit with debris and knocked down when Bane charges. Move to the corner and use the Batclaw against any enemy to start the fight. Just ahead is an Interview Tape next to a body, move to the left and down the hallway. Keep an eye out for a destructible wall to your left, there is Riddler Trophy behind it. Go through the door at the end of the hall, in this area there are no enemies. Walk up and take a right, climb on the destroyed column, leap across to the platform and once more to the platform on the left. Behind the pillar here is a Riddler Trophy. Go back to the first platform and go to the other side and leap across the platforms here and take out the Joker Teeth. Walk across the fallen column and leap across, when you get the flowing water you will see a Riddler Trophy, grab it and go back. Move up the next fallen column ahead jump up on the tower and shimmy to the other side. Get the Riddler Trophy and enter Detective Mode. Look ahead and line up the question mark to solve the riddle, not shimmy back and jump across the gap on to another platform, there is another Riddler Trophy to your right but it is out of reach for now, continue to the left. Once you open the door you will notice an Interview Tape on a crate to your left, continue up the stairs a blast through the destructible wall at the top. Leap across the gap and through the door to reach the surface. You are in the destroyed building, enter Detective Mode and you will notice that there are two armed thugs in the area, they will be your priority. Grapple on to the guard tower and silently takedown the sniper when he isn't looking. Glide over to the stairs of the next tower and grapple up once more, when the sniper isn't looking climb up and perform a silent takedown. With no more armed threat glide down and confront the remaining henchman, one of them has knives so watch out. Go to Arkham East, once you go through the doors there are several unarmed henchmen waiting for you. Cape Stun the dangerous enemy and take care of the rest. In the next area are four snipers on the guard towers, begin by grappling to the ledge of the closest tower to your left. Then swing over to the next guard tower to the right and do the same with this armed prisoner. Now glide towards the cemetery and go through it, hug the walls of Arkham Mansion and go to the courtyard and grapple on the rooftop of the mansion. Move towards the snipers, throw Twin Batarangs then perform ground takedowns on both of them. If you don't have Twin Batarangs, throw a Batarang at the further sniper and drop down on the other. Drop back down to the Mansion Courtyard and look for a Chronicle of Arkham near the gate and scan it. Go over the wall and you should see a destructible spot in the ground near some benches, underneath is a Riddler Trophy. Make your way to the cemetery and enter Detective Mode, under the stairs to the Botanicle Gardens is a destructible wall. Blow it apart and scan the Chronicle of Arkham behind it. Turn around and face the shack in the cemetery, go to the left and search the area for a Riddler Trophy hidden in bushes. Now approach the entrance to Arkham Mansion, get the Joker Teeth then grapple above the doorway and turn on Detective Mode. Looking up you will see a vent cover, use your trusty Batclaw to pull it off and enter the Mansion. /\_____________________/\ /\______________________________________________/\ | || | | .-. .-. || [6ARKM] Arkham Mansion | | ,' . . Make your way through the vent next to the Chronicle and drop down into the Main Hall. Grapple on to the gargoyles and scan the room, there are ten unarmed prisoners in this area. Glide down to begin the battle, this is the perfect spot to unlock the Freeflow Achievements/Trophies. Once the henchmen have been taken care of approach the door to the East and stop half way. Look to your left and scan the portation of Commissioner Gordon to solve a riddle. Continue down the hall and remove the grate below the statue and grab the Riddler Trophy, go up the stairs. Destroy all of the teeth here, there is one in the security room, remove the grate facing the stairs to get to it. Jump on top of the security booth and look up, grapple on to the ledge and scan the Chronicle of Arkham. Now drop back down and approach the next security booth and remove the grate faving opposite to the stairs and grab the Interview tape. Now go back to where you scanned Commissioner Gordon's portrait on go through the doors. Go around and the corner and stop when you get to a display case in the middle of the hall, look to your left and scan the umbrella case to solve another riddle. Continue with Detective Mode on, there is an armed thug around the corner so take cover and throw a Batarang at him and take both henchmen out. Turn around and look up at a ventilation grate on the wall, peel it off using your Batclaw and go get the Riddler Trophy in there. Continue through the doors into the Library. There are six henchmen in the Library, the won't see you right away which gives you a chance to throw Batarangs at the ones in red jumpsuits on the left. Once all of the henchmen have been defeated look for a grate on the main floor and use the Batclaw to take it down and get the Riddler Trophy inside. Grapple the railing on the third story of the Library. You don't have much time, open the ventilation grate and enter, go straight and drop down behind the wall and go to the other side, grapple up into the ventilation system and continue to another area where you can stand up. Look up and grapple to get up to the vent and go through it, follow the vents and back on to the balcony. Throw a Batarang at the rope holding the chandelier, drop down to the main floor and rescue the hostages. Return to the top floor by grappling the railing and go to the vent grate on the wall, inside is a Riddler Trophy. Go back down to the main floor and through the passage next to the doctor and guard. Get the Joker Teeth on your way up the stairs, exit the Library to the South Corridor. Once you turn right at the first corner grapple to the air ducts about and blow down the destructible wall, scan the Chronicle of Arkham and turn around. Activate Detective Mode and you will notice a question mark below, line it up with a dot on the air ducts to solve a riddle and proceed to the Main Hall. In the Main Hall two unarmed thugs will be waiting for you. Once you have defeated them continue through the Main Hall and into the West Wing. There will be an armed thug threatening a guard and doctor, take him by using a Batarang and ground takedown. Continue through the corridor and to the Records Room. Grapple on to a gargoyle immediately after entering the room and turn on Detective Mode, there are six armed men in this room. Use the gargoyles and silently take down as many of the patrolling henchmen as you can before their bodies are discovered. Once a body has been found it will be a little bit more difficult to get them alone but if you avoid hand to hand combat you will be fine. Go to the set of stairs on the West side of the room and look for a ventilation grade, yank it off and crawl through it into the office, drop down and pickup the Interview Tape off the desk and go back. Now make your way to the opposite end of the room. Enter the North Corridor by the door near the stairs. Go down the hall and take a right, when you get to a door go through the vents on the left and you will drop down in a cell. Get the Joker Teeth and move to the next cell and scan the circles in Detective Mode to solve the riddle. Look up and you will find a vent opening, grapple up and crawl through it, walk straight and around to corner to grab a Riddler Trophy. Now walk back and go through the vent and stop when you are looking down on three henchmen. Throw Batarangs at the henchmen outside of Dr. Young's office and glide down to attack them. Go up the stairs on the right and scan the body on the open drawer in the morgue to solve a riddle. From this spot look to your left and remove the ventilation grate with the Batclaw and enter, kick out the grate at the end of the vent and drop down into Dr. Young's office. Activate Detective Mode and focus on the safe and analyze the fingerprints. Zoom in on the mask below the vent in her office and scan it to solve the riddle. Exit Dr. Young's office through the ventilation system, when you drop down into the morgue part of the room a few henchmen will greet you. After defeating the henchmen enter the room they came from and pick up the Interview Tape. Go through the door into the West Corridor and take care of the Joker Teeth at the bottom of the stairs. Follow the fingerprints through the Main Hall and South Corridor to the Library. Go across the room and down the stairs, the fingerprints will lead you to a book sticking out of the shelf. Go back up the stairs and to the door to the South Corridor, and you probably know what's going on by now. Continue down the corridor and into the streets, and finally through a door. Leap across the gap and go up the stairs, sprint to the third piece of cover and pull out your Batclaw. Pull down the crate and use it as cover while Scarecrow is looking the other way, do the same for the next crate. Sprint to the wall and clumb up, go around the corner and defeat the skeletons without entering Scarecrow's site. Jump up and leap across the gap then shimmy around to the right. Climb out then leap on the next next platform behind cover. Climb up twice and hide behind the cover, when Scarecrow's vision passes by quickly jump over the gap and shimmy behind cover. Run across and defeat another wave of skeletons without being seen by Scarecrow. Keep going to the right and grapple up to the ledge above the gears. Jump over another gap and shimmy around the corner. When Scarecrow is looking the other way, leap on to the next platform and time your next jump so you don't get hit by the swingin pendulum. Take cover and as soon as his vision passes you by jump up and sprint down the walkway and take cover quickly. Wait at the right edge of the cover and when Scarecrow passes you again run and jump over the railing and take cover behind the wall. When Scarecrow begins looking the other way climb up, leap across the gap and sprint towards the Bat-Signal and activate it. When you come to, throw a Batarang at the rope supporting the bell. Drop down after the bell and go through to door ahead to the East Wing Corridor. Around the corner is an unarmed enemy, take him out then turn around and go towards the display case, scan it to solve another riddle. Go through the door the goon was guarding and approach Zsasz and Dr. Young with caution, take corner cover and aim your Batarang as Zsasz, throw your Batarang once you get a clear shot. One of the henchmen has a taser, any head on approach is suicide. Jump over him and attack from behind to defeat him and take care of the others. Enter Detective Mode after the battle and focus in on Harley's wand. Look over at the desk in the office and get the secrets map. Nearby the map is a puppet in a glass case, scan this to solve the riddle. Exit the office following Harley's trail, break off the trail as soon as you exit the office and get the Riddler Trophy on a desk to the right. Continue following the DNA trail and when you get to the room where you first saw Zsasz look up and grapple on to the railing. Find the Joker Teeth here and go back down. Proceed through the door and around the corner where you will be greeted by a nice gift of Joker Teeth. Go through the doors back to the Main Hall, there will be three armed inmates waiting for you. It is very possible to lure the henchmen into a spot where you can use a Multi Batarang to knock them all down and finish them off. However you decide to take them out, remember to use a Sonar Batarang if available to deactivate their suicide collars. Return to the white stripe on the ground and through the doors, walk down the hallway and through the next set of doors, notice the danger signs on the floor. Grapple on to the roof of the cells and walk over to the office and destroy the Joker Teeth, grab the Interview Tape on the desk. Scan the gun case under "Mors certa, hora, incerta" next to the office to solve a riddle. Follow the DNA trail to The Green Mile, get the Riddler Trophy behind the explosive wall on the way. Move through the room after speaking with Ivy into the Security Control Room and rescue Warden Sharp. To use the Cryptographic Sequencer, move the left thumbstick until the wave is at its largest and hold it, then do the same with the right thumbstick. Go down the stairs and scan the familiar prisoner behind the glass wall. Go up the stairs next to this prisoner while in Detective Mode and get the Riddler Trophy from behind the destructible wall. Move to the stairs on the opposite side of the room and use the Cryptographic Sequencer on the Gate Control at the end to unlock a cell and another Riddler Trophy. See a cell covered in ice? Scan it to solve a riddle. Return to Main Cell Block through The Green Mile. Grapple to the roof of the cells and battle the prisoners, after the first wave has been defeated another group will be released. Watch out for the weapons lockers on the roof, the inmates will go for them while you are fighting and it can be deadly. Once the enemies have been defeated go over to the office and use the Cryptographic Sequency to disable the electric gates. Go through the door to the next cell area and you will be charged by an innmate, take him out and look to the right for a cell plastered in calendars, scan it to solve the riddle. Now turn around towards the next prisoner and take him out, earch the cells for a Riddler Trophy. Go up the stairs ahead and through the door, follow the path to straight to Harley. Use the Cryptographic Sequency on the box next to the window beside Harley, then go around the corner to the left and hack the other panel to disable the electricity. Now cut the ropes to free the guards and turn around, run to the panel next to the door and hack it within the 30 seconds to escape. Speak to the guard outside of the room and clear out the Joker Teeth. Follow the gards into the control room and get the Interview Tape on the stacks of paper. Exit the room and look for a ventilation grate high on the wall, go inside and you will find a Riddler Trophy at the end. Return to the Main Cell Block and destroy the Joker Teeth, keep going straight and through the door to the Controlled Access hallway. Keep an eye out for a cell on the right with a "Vote Dent" poster, scan it to solve a riddle. At the end of the hall will be a ventilation grate on the ceiling, peel it off and the inmate will drop down, knock him out and grapple up. Grab the Interview Tape on the desk and exit the office. Use Explosive Gel on the third destructible wall to your right and drop down to collect a Riddler Trophy. Go down the stairs and through the doors into the Extreme Incarceration Room. This next battle is a little tricky, there are three platforms all feature electrified floors. Battle the henchmen and climb to the other platforms when Harley turns on the juice. Use ground takedowns whenver possible to get rid of enemies. When enemies with tasers appear jump over them and attack from from behind. Once you have defeated te henchmen a cutscene will begin. Go through the large doors and destroy the Joker Teeth on the other side, pick up the Secrets Map on the desk and go up the stairs and to the left. Grab the Interview Tape on the desk and approach the security box labeled "5" with the Cryptographic Sequencer and unlock it. Go to the appropriate cell and collect the Riddler Trophy then apply Explosive Gel to the destructible wall and scan the Chronicle of Arkham. Grapple above and blow up the wall and return to the Main Cell Block, get your Joker Teeth gift on the way! Use the Cryptographic Sequencer on | Chronicles 2 | the security panel next to you and go through the | Riddles 9 | doors that the thugs were guarding. |_________________________| There are six armed henchmen in this room, drop into the floor grate then on to any gargoyle. They all have suicide collars which means that you wish to work silently you're going to have to use Sonar Batarangs, if they see the Batarangs they will know you are there. I suggest taking out one of the thugs with an Inverted Takedown and the others will stick together allowing you to use Multi Batarangs and gliding down for quick finishes. The only method that is sure to fail in this room is hand to hand combat. Once all of the henchmen are incapacitated drop down to the ground floor and blow up the wall behind the statue, crawl into the vent and grab the Riddle Trophy. Now go to the middle level opposite to the entrance and go into the floor ducts and pick up the other Riddler Trophy. Finally, search near the floor duct to the West and locate a tea set and scan it to solve the riddle. Follow Harley's trail to the Flooded Corridor. You cannot cross the electrified water, turn around and enter Detective Mode. Follow the power cables on the ground to the Statue Corridor, destroy any Joker Teeth you see. Scan the plaque on the bench to solve another riddle and pickup the Interview Tape on another bench next to the statue. Proceed to the Genterator Room to meet with several henchmen, they won't see you at first so use Multi Batarangs and make sure you hit the one in the red jumpsuit. Once you have defeated the goons speak with Carl Todd. Grapple on to the tower and use the Cryptographic Sequencer to gain access to a room holding a Riddler Trophy and a secrets map. Drop down and use the Cryptographic Sequencer on the control panel. You have limited time to hack this panel and its a little bit more difficult, when the bars deplete on the control panel Joker Toxin will flood the room. After you cut the electricity return to the Flooded Corridor, cross the water and tag the Joker Teeth on the other side. Remove the ventilation grate and crawl through it, you will pass over another grate with a pair of gloves below, scan it to solve the riddle. Take a right and pick up the Riddler Trophy at the end then go the other way and kick off the grate at the other end and use Explosive Gel to blow up the wall in your path. Go through the door and enter the Abandoned Chamber, take a left then leap across the gap and go down two sets of stairs. Move around clockwise on the bottom level and jump down into the sewers and under the tunnel to grab a Riddler Trophy. Go back up the stairs and to your right, once you reach the top of the second set of stairs leap to the platform on your left and to the ther platform ahead. Walk to the path and jump to the crach and shimmy over to the water and a body will drop down. Climb up and turn around then leap to the next ledge and walk to the end. Look up and throw a Batarang at the suspended catwalk and walk halway and jump on to the ledge and shimmy over. Walk on the playform and crouch underneath the debris, go into Detective Mode and line up the question mark on the platform to solve a riddle. Now climb down and back to the catwalk, walk across then leap over the gap to your left and collect the Riddler Trophy and continue to the door and exit the area. Climb up the ledge and grapple into the vent, quickly attack the two unarmed thugs and speak to Jordan Fraser. Follow Harley's trail to the rightand scan the toys on the bench to solve a riddle, turn around and follow the DNA down another path. Scan the headless statue in Harley's trail to solve another riddle then grab an Interview Tape on the bench next to it. Wait for the armed thug to turn away and move behind the cover to your right then to the floor duct to the right. Crawl through and when you exit on the other side grapple across to the ledge. Shimmy to the right and when you are at the ladder drop down and enter the vent next to you. Grapple to the top and look down the hole, when the lead henchmen is looking away silently take him out. Jump back into the hole and take out the other armed thugs when they aren't looking. Clear the control room of Joker Teeth after the cutscene. Speak to Robert Stirling then grab the Interview Tape from the bench behind him. Follow Harley's fingerprints to a metal wall, yank it off to expose the panel and Joker Toxin. Hack the panel to open a secret passageway to the Titan Production Facility. Joker has two titans for you, both of their health bars will show on the bottom right of your screen. Use Batarangs as they charge you to stun them and dodge the charges and unleash attacks as they are dazed. When they fall to their knees strike them to jump on their backs, while on their backs you can attack to other while avoiding damage yourself. When you defeat both of the titan henchmen use the Cryptographic Sequencer on the gate to unlock it. When your Line Launcher arrives approach the gap and look to the right, use your new toy to reach the Riddler Trophy and go back. Now go through the exit to the Aviary, when you get to the part where you had to sneak around using corner cover search for a vent and follow it to a ledge. Look down and to the left for a skeleton and scan it to solve a riddle then go to the Flooded Corridor. When you reach a gap use the Line Launcher to move to the other side, then destroy the Joker Teeth, grab the Riddler Trophy, then move through the door around the corner. After speaking with Ivy there will be eight unarmed henchmen waiting for you on the other side of the gap, use your Line Launcher to go back and kick some of the thugs. Defeat them using combos and counters then go through the vent and back to the Abandoned Chamber, enter Detective Mode and approach the escaped patient in the floor duct. Once you have incapacitated the patient open the grate and follow it to the other side and grab the Riddler Trophy then head out to the exiting Flooding Corridor and crawl through the vents. Defeat the two thugs taunting you then go through the doors and get the Joker Teeth, silently take out the henchmen looking the other way then grapple to one of the gargoyles. Thre are five more armed goons here. Repeat the same steps as you did before in this room to clear it of inmates. Once the henchmen have been defeated exit the room and to the Glasshouse Entrance. Destroy the Joker Teeth and make your way to the exit, your path will be blocked. Drop down into the hole and scan the Chroncle of Arham. Drop down into the Main | Interview Tapes 1 | Hall and jump to the balcony on your right. When | Chronicles 0 | you are blocked by a vine zip to the opposite side | Riddles 1 | and continue, glide down towards the fallen bell |_________________________| and speak to Aaron Cash. Return to Arkham Island the same way you entered and go to Arkham North. There appears to be eight guards through the doors, these are actually disguised inmates. Defeat the hostiles and go through the next door to Arkham North. Enter Detective Mode and keep an eye on the snipers sights. Move to the guard tower and throw Batarangs at the sniper if he sees you, when you get to the top of the stairs on the tower throw another Batarang at the sniper and zip to the balcony while he is done and take him out. Destroy the Joker Teeth and while looking out to the Island go to your left and collect the Riddler Trophy on the roof. Glide down to the guard shack and use the Cryptographic Sequencer to gain acces and take the Riddler Trophy and the Interview then scan the Harvey Dent posters on the wall to solve a riddle. Begin by dropping down on the walkway and silently taking out the first goon, then dropping down to the bottom. From here go through the tunnel and take out the thug here silently. Stay at the corner cover and wait for another thug to come check it out and do a corner takedown. The rest of the enemies are a variable and I suggest sticking to the corners and use your Batarangs to keep your advantage. Once the area is cleared of henchmen go to the center office and pick up the Interview Tape on the table. Move to the security panel and hack it with the Cryptographic Sequencer then go to the doors and into Cell Block Transfer. NOTICE: THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR CONSOLE, DISC, OR TV, ITS SCARECROW! Walk through Cell Block Transfer, when you come to as Batman walk forward up the ramp. To clear the gap you need to use the Line Launcher, time it with the swinging shield on the left to make it safely to the other side. When Scarecrow is looking the other way run and take cover behind the pump. Run to the right and around the corner to begin an encounter with skeletons, they are holding swords this time so it will be a little harder, stay out of Scarecrow's gaze while fighting. When all of the skeletons have been taken care of go around the corner and climb the ledge while Scarecrow's gaze is focusing the other way. Spring to the right and jump over the short wall and behind cover. Leap over the gap when Scarecrow is looking to the right and quickly run away from Scarecrow and take cover behind short wall. Jump over the gap and time yourself with the moving shield, the shield moves at the same pace as your sprint. Continue until you get to a part with two cages. Jump on the first cage while Scarecrow is looking away, you will drop but you cannot be seen down there while you aren't moving. As Scarecrow looks to the left grapple up to the next cage and move to the right. Get the the Bat-Signal safely. Scarecrow will summon more skeletons and one titan skeleton. Lead the titan skeleton into the walls while battling the sword carrying skeletons, after hitting the wall a few times the titan skeleton will be defeated and you will automatically shine the Bat-Signal on Scarecrow once more. Now that you are back, turn around and exit Call Block Transfer and return using the other door on the right. Approach the electric gate ahead and to your right and use the Cryptographic Sequencer to disable it and go inside to grab the Interview Tape. Then move forward and hack the panel to Cash's office, zoom in on a family photo on his desk and scan it to solve the riddle then go through the doors at the end of the hall. Destroy the Joker Teeth next to the dead guard then go up the stairs and grab the Interview Tape on the desk in the office. Face the vacant elevator shaft and glide to the platform across, follow the path to the vent and drop down. Go around and leap over the obstacles, when you get to the end climb down and shimmy around and drop on the other platform. When you have to crouch go to your right and blow up the destructible wall on the left and scan the Chronicle of Arkham. At the bottom of the elevator shaft you may notice three henchmen if you turn on Detective Mode, select Multi Batarangs and throw them at the thugs then rush in for ground takedowns. Use the Cryptographic Sequencer on the rigged control panel to open the metal hatch. Drop down and engage the six unarmed henchmen, don't let them get to the weapons lockers in the area. Croc will jump out of the |_________________________| water occassionally so have Batarangs ready for him. Your first encounter with Croc will be roughly 70m from the first spore, a single Batarang will throw him back into the water, you will see him again just before you get to the first spore. When you get to the spore cut it down using the Batrang and collect the samples. Move to the second spore, when you get to it Croc will charge again, collect the sample and he will show up one more time. On your way to the third spore Croc will interrupt you 115m away, just before the crossroad. From there he will engage you once more from the East, which is also the way you need to go to get to the spore. Go around the corner and take a right when the path opens up again, Croc will appear from behind this time. After dealing with Croc continue on your path and when you are about 30m away from the third spore he will barge through a wooden blockage towards you, collect the spore and he will do so again from the right. When the path splits ahead go straight and Croc will come for you once more, take a left and collect the fourth spore sample. Since Killer Croc has destroyed your pathway you will need to use the Line Laucher at a pipe and avoid sprinting when you land. When you are instructed to run do so and go straight, Croc will follow you so watch you back and throw Batarangs his way. Once again at 100m from the fifth spore you will need to run and scale the gate, continue straight and begin to move quietly again. Croc will come up in front of you, take him out once more and sprint straight ahead to the fifth and final spore. Don't be too quick to move ahead, Killer Croc will spring from the water in front of you, use a Batarang and he will topple. You escape involved quickly switching from the Batarang to the Line Launcher while running. When you are prompted to run grab the Line Launcher and use it whenever platforms are missing. When you climb the gate from 330m Croc will come up again but from a safe distance where you should have no problems using the Batarang, take a left at the intersection once you knock him down. Croc will come from behind ar roughly 280m, turn around and send a Batarang his way then get ready to sprint. Croc will come from behind again at 210m then you will need to sprint afterwards, go to the left while you are running. He comes up once more and you will need to sprint aroung the corner to 120m. From here it gets tricky, you will need to run to the exit without hesitating. There are no more intersections so don't worry about taking a wrong turn. When you reach the gate get out the Explosive Gel, you automatically placed it on the ground earlier. When Croc steps over it detonate the gel to take him out. Aim your Line Launcher to the right and zip over, destroy the Joker Teeth and go through the door to the Old Sewer. Activate Detective Mode and you will notice a handful of henchmen ahead, use corner cover and Multi Batarangs to stun them and move in for some takedowns. Once you've defeated the thugs look straight ahead at the Riddler Trophy and zip across to get it then exit through the vents. Once in the Batcave move to the upper platform to begin the cutscene and get a new toy! Turn on Detective Mode and look to your left, use your Batclaw on the destructible wall to take it down and grapple up. Glide straight ahead and grab the Riddler Trophy then climb the ledges to the top. Use the Line Launcher to move across the gap and into the cave. At the end of the cave grapple upwards and zip to the furthest spire and drop down on the ledge to get the Riddler Trophy, if you can't see it go into Detective Mode. Grapple back on to the ledge above and enter the cave, grapple to the top and zip across to the cave. Glide down to the walkway and grapple into the vent and back into the sewers, look to the ceiling and you should spot an area where you can use the improved Batclaw, tear the weak part away and enter to grab a Riddler Trophy. Move through the sewers and make your way to through the sewers. When you approach the second pod in the sewers look up towards a vent and grab the Riddler Trophy, continue to the Main Sewer Junction. Move through the Main Sewer Junction just as you did before, when you get to the top after the second fallen pillar look to your right. Zip across the gap and collect the Riddler Trophy. Go to the right and climb up twice, from here continue to leap and climb on the path until you get to the end. Turn around and use the Line Launcher to zip to the opposing platform and cimb up to the narrow walkway above, look down at to your right at the end and drop down and get the Riddler Trophy here. Climb back up on the pathway and return to the highest point and turn around. Above is a destructible wall that you can tear down using the Batclaw, once you do that the henchmen will see you, use Multi Batarangs to drop them then grapple over and take them down. Once the room is clear of hechmen grab the secrets map walk through the halls while keeping an eye out for an Interview Tape. Open the door at the end of the hall there are two henchmen talking, use the Batclaw to daze them then run over and preform ground takedowns. Move up the stairs and destroy any Joker Teeth you see. At the top of the stairs is a raised destructible wall, take it down with the Batclaw and grab the Riddler Trophy. Walk ahead and notice the men below you in the Pump Room. Use the Batclaw on the henchmen in the red jumpsuit and the ones beside him, then use Multi Batarangs on the armed henchmen and the surrounding thugs. Drop down and takedown the armed henchmen and battle the others. Perform ground takedowns whenever possible and don't let the other henchmen pick the gun up. Use cape stun on the other two dangerous henchmen and take them down as quickly as you can. Use the Cryptographic Sequencer on the two panels next to the screen to disable the pumps. Grapple back to the top platform and zip across to grab the Interview Tape on the barrel. Now exit the Pump Room from the door you came from and go straight across to the Control Room, destroying any Joker Teeth on the way. The Control Room is heavily guarded, fortunately the gargoyles are not rigged with explosives so you can use them. Move to the North side of the room by using the Line Launcher and enter the vent to the right. There are two destructible walls here that would make strategic places to use Explosives Gel. Return to the gargoyles in the room and wait for enemies to pass by to begin your attack. Herd the other henchmen using Batarangs and drop down for takedowns one at a time, if the remaining henchmen are all in the room to the South go under them using the ducts and pull the floor from underneath. Once the room is henchmen free enter detective mode and tear away the walls on either side, scan the Chronicle and grab the Riddler Trophy. Go to the control area and hack the rigged security panel. Go back to the Pressue Control Junction and get your Joker Teeth present. Walk ahead and Joker will trap you in this next area. A titan henchmen will blast through the walls, begin attacking it just as you've done before. When other henchmen appear try to focus on the titan as much as you can and try to drop it to its knees quickly. Once it is on its knees attack it to hop and and steer it to knock down the other henchmen in the room. Once you have defeated the titan and other henchmen enter the elevator shaft that the titan came from. Use your Batclaw against the breakable wall above and scan the Chroncile of Arkham inside, look up and you will see another wall that can be torn down. Up there you will notice a destructible object next to you, use Explosive Gel on it and the elevator will come crashing down. Throw a quick Batarang to the sniper across and get the Joker Teeth on the tower. Zip across to the other tower while the sniper is down and take him out. Move to the Botanical Gardens and destroy the Joker Teeth on the stairs. When you enter the Gardens you will notice that the path is blocked, climb to your left and look for a hidden vent in this spot. Crawl through the vent and drop down and you will see a Chronicle that you've already scanned, grapple up and watch out for the pods which now shoot three spores. Move to the Flooded Corridor and zip across to the other side. Move through the hall and up the stairs, there are two unarmed men in the area that you'll have to take out. Zip across the gap towards the vines and through the door. Stay out of Ivy's vines or you will take lots of damage, and dodge her spores left or right when she shoots them at you, don't try to throw Batarangs at them. Ivy is protected by a shield, when it opens fling Batarangs at her quickly while dodging her attacks. Once her health at the top right falls walk up to the plant and use Explosive Gel on her shield to weaken it. During the second part of the battle you will have to deal with guards, you can position them so they get hit by the vines Ivy uses against you. With her weakened shield you can damage her by throwing Batarangs at any time, but when she is exposed you will still achieve the most damage. Go through the doors ahead and there will be twenty henchmen outside the door, they won't attack so you're going to have to initiate the fight. Walk up to the henchmen and once you are told that you are the guest of honour attack them. Enter the Penitentiary and get ready to fight the rest of the thugs. Once all of the henchmen are down go through the Visitor Room and approach the Joker, once the explosion goes off walk ahead and to the right. They two titan henchmen will be released along with waves of other thugs. Lead the titans into the walls and get one on its knees. Once you are able to jump on a titan henchmen use it to attack the other titan and weaken them both in the process. Continue to fight the waves of henchmen on the ground, using quick Batarangs works really well here. Once the titans have been eliminated Joker will take the venom himself and a battle on the rooftop will begin. Start out by running around avoiding Joker, if you get close to him you will take significant damage. When he does on the top part you will have to defeat a wave of henchmen. Once Joker waves to the news chopper use your Batclaw on him and bring him down and attack. He will get back up and chase you then go back to his post. Two waves of henchmen will be brought down on you, keep an eye out on the gun lockers on the roof and do your best to stop the henchmen from reaching them. Joker will throw bombs you way that follow you, use Batarangs to destroy them or loop them around henchmen and take them out. Once you defeat the next waves Joker will turn to the news chopper again, take him down and strike him a few more times just as before. Battle the next waves of henchmen and watch out for the ones carrying stun guns. Once more Joker will face the media giving you an opportunity to use the Batclaw one last time and defeat him. Watch the credits for a scene at the end. Now that you've completed the Story Mode you have access to the Armoured Batsuit for Challenge Maps! _______________________________________________________________________________ [03.00] RIDDLER'S CHALLENGES ������������������������������������������������������������������������������� __________________________________________________ [RCINT] Intensive Treatment __________________________________________________ RIDDLER TROPHIES ================ 1. In the Holding Cells, there is a ventilation grate available after you beat your first henchmen, open it up and the trophy will be inside. 2. After knocking out Victor Zsasz search for a grate on the wall and grab the Riddler Trophy. 3. Once your exit the Patient Pacification Chamber and crawl through the ventilation ducts yu hsould find this. 4. When the clear the Decontamination Room of Joker Troxin look for a floor grate on the West part of the room. 5. Go to the empty security booth to the right in the Secure Treatment Transfer room. 6. On your second visit remove the ventilation grate in the Maintenance Access area and grab it. 7. Go upstairs in the Patient Pacification Chamber and use the Batclaw on the vent high on the wall and get the trophy inside. 8. In the Decontamination Room use the Cryptographic Sequencer to unlock the electric gate, go up the ladder and grab the trophy. 9. Go half way up the elevator shaft and use the Batclaw to remove the grate and get the trophy. 10. Move to the Utility Corridor and locate the destructible wall, blow it down using Explosive Gel and get the trophy. INTERVIEW TAPES =============== 1. Go to the recording office in Secure Transit and grab the tape from the desk. 2. Inside the office in the middle of the Intensive Treatment Lobby will be a tape on a desk. 3. Use the Cryptographic Sequencer to unlock the office in Cell Block Transfer and grab the tape near the computers. 4. Unlock the electric gate in the Decontamination Room and grab it off the desk next to the ladder. 5. Next to the doors between Secure Transit and Cell Block Transfer, the office is open on your second visit and the tap is on the desk. CHRONICLE OF ARKHAM =================== 1. At the top of the elevator shaft will be a Chronicle right in front of you. 2. There is a destructible wall halfway up the elevator shaft, blow it up and scan the Chronicle on the other side. 3. In the Transfer Loop will be a vent up the wall, use the Batclaw to yank the grate off and clumb inside. RIDDLES ======= 1. DON'T CUT YOURSELF ON THIS SHARPY OBSERVED PORTRAIT. On the platform in the lobby look for a portrait of Warden Sharp next to the ladder. 2. A PUZZLE HAS MANY SIDES, BUT ONLY SOME ARE VISIBLE. Go to the center office in the Intensive Treatment Lobby and line up the question mark on the Southern window with the dot on the wall outside. 3. YOU DON'T KNOW HACK ABOUT GOTHAM. TUNE IN TO FIND OUT. Inside the Utility Corridor is a radio, zoom in on the name "Jack Ryder" and scan it. 4. EVEN I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I SAW HOW MAXI ZEUS WAS TREATED! There is a breakable wall in the Patient Pacification Chamber, use the Explosive Gel to blow it up and scan the art on the cell walls. 5. A TOP HAT AND TAILS IS THE ONLY DRESS CODE FOR THIS PARTY IN THE NORTH. Go to hte Transfer Loop and look for an office, duck underneath the gate and scan the poster that reads "Iceberg Lounge". 6. DR. JONATHAN CRANE PLANS ON ELEVATING FEAR TO NEW DEPTHS. Stand on the destroyed elevator at the bottom of the pit in Secure Transit and look up to find a vent, crawl through it and to the right and scan the blueprints in the secret area. 7. WHERE WOULD YOU FIND MY HOME SWEET HOME? Go back to the Holding Cells and scan the cell with all of the question marks on the walls. __________________________________________________ [RCAIE] Arkham Island East __________________________________________________ RIDDLER TROPHIES ================ 1. Behind the statue next to the bench near Arkham Mansion. 2. Grapple to the very top of the guard tower next to the Botanical Gardens. 3. Inside the shack in the middle of the cemetery, you'll find this trophy on the table. 4. Next to the Botanical Gardens inside the cemetery, it's hidden in some bushes so use Detective Mode if you can't see it. 5. On the north side of the entrance to Arkham mansion is a breakable part in the ground next to the benches, underneath is a Riddler Trophy. 6. Grapple over the high wall into the courtyard of Arkham Mansion, the trophy will be on a bench. 7. After getting trophy five go to the end of the coutyard and grapple on to the balcony, the trophy will be behind the column. 8. Get on to the Arkham Mansion rooftop and jump on top the the balcony roof and get the trophy next to the gate. 9. Grapple to the clocktower on Arkham Mansion, the trophy will be just in front of the clock. 10. From the clocktower look South West and glide down to the rooftop and collect the trophy. 11. Hack the control panel on the guard shack next to the statue and get the Riddler Trophy inside. INTERVIEW TAPES =============== 1. In the guard tower East of Intensive Treatment attached to the catwalk, will be on the table. 2. Down the walkway from the guard tower is another room, disable the electric gate using the Cryptographic Sequencer and get the tape on the desk inside. CHRONICLE OF ARKHAM =================== 1. Inside the cemetery is a destructible wall on the side of the steps leading to the Botanical Gardens, blow it up and scan the Chronicle behind it. 2. Inside the courtyard of Arkham Mansion, you will find the Chronicle between a wall next to some plants. RIDDLES ======= 1. THE LEGACY OF THIS ISLAND HAS BEEN WELL AND TRULY BURIED. Go to the cemetery and look for a headstone of Amadeus Arkham and scan it. 2. GOTHAM'S GREATEST FAMILY TOWERS OVER THE CITY. Go to the rooftop of Arkham mansion and look towards Gotham City, zoom in on the "W" on the Wayne Enterprises building and scan it. 3. MY CHALLENGES APPEAR TO THOSE WITH THE CORRECT POSITION IN LIFE. Grapple to the roof of Arkham Mansion and on to the rear tower. Enter Detective Mode and look for the question mark on the roof below and line it up with the dot on the tower, scan to solve the riddle. __________________________________________________ [RCAIN] Arkham Island North __________________________________________________ RIDDLER TROPHIES ================ 1. Enter Detective Mode next to the Batmobile and look to the North, on the ground will be a spot you can use Explosives. Underneath will be a Riddler Trophy. 2. Go into the destroyed building and look on the ground floor for another Riddler Trophy. 3. From the guard tower on the East glide to the high ground to the North next to the Sewer exit and grab the trophy. 4. Grapple to the Intensive Treatment rooftop to the South East and look for a cave in the rocks, retrieve the trophy inside. 5. Move to the North and use the Cryptographic Sequencer on the electric gate on the tower next to the destroyed building, trophy is inside. 6. Move through Dead Man's Point until you get to an area will skulls, use Explosive Gel on the breakable wall in this area and grab the Riddler Trophy behind. 7. Go to the guard tower North East of the Batmobile, the trophy will be on the very top. 8. Zip to the top of Intensive Treatment where the sniper was and look West, a trophy will be on the rooftop below. INTERVIEW TAPES =============== 1.Go to the tower North West of the Batmobile, the tape will be on the table inside. 2. Disable the electric gate for the guard building next to the Batmobile and retrieve the Interview Tape on the desk inside. CHRONICLE OF ARKHAM =================== 1. Go inside of the destroyed building, the Chronicle can be found on the second floor. 2. On the way to Dead Man's Point will be a Chronicle of Arkham to the left on the ledge past the broken ladder. RIDDLES ======= 1. TEEDLE-DUM AND TWEEDLE-DEE SAW IT, CAN YOU SEE IT? Go to the North part of the island toward the gate and scan the see-saw in the playground. 2. NOW I SEE IT, NOW YOU DON'T! From the playground move to the destroyed building, stop at the entrance and enter Detective Mode. Look up at the arch of the doorway and line the question mark with the dot and scan it. 3. LET'S FACE IT, THERE ARE TWO DENTS ON THE WALL. Break into the guard building using the Cryptographic Sequencer and scan the posters of Harvey Dent on the wall. __________________________________________________ [RCAIW] Arkham Island West __________________________________________________ RIDDLER TROPHIES ================ 1. Upon entering from Arkham North turn around and grapple on the ledge above the doors. 2. Go towards the waterfall next to the doors leading the Arkham West, the trophy will be next to the falls. 3. Grapple to the roof of the shack on the dock and get the Riddler Trophy. 4. Go to the rooftop of the Medical Facility and seach for the trophy. 5. Underneath the guard tower next to the Penitentiary will be a trophy hidden in the bushes. 6. In the abandoned tunnel from Arkham East is a trophy behind a gate, grapple above the gate and use Explosive Gel on the ground to fall to the Riddler Trophy. 7. Grapple to rooftop on the North part of the Medical Facility and look South East at the rocks. Zip across to the platform and retrieve the trophy. 8. Yank off the ventilation grate using the Batclaw next to the doors of the Penitentiary and get the trophy at the end of the vent. 9. Disable the electric gate from the top balcony of the Penitentiary and grab the trophy in the room. 10. Raise the lift in front of the Medical Facility entrance using the Cryptographic Sequencer to expose a Riddler Trophy. 11. In front of the Abandoned Tunnel entrance is a breakable section in the ceiling, tear it down and grapple up to get the hidden trophy. 12. In the tunnel leading to Arkham North look for a ventilation grate high on the wall and yank it down using the Batclaw, the trophy will be inside the small vent. 13. Tear down the breakable wall in the tunnel to Arkham North and get the trophy behind it. Use Detective Mode to spot the weak spot. CHRONICLE OF ARKHAM =================== 1. Stand at the ambulance in the middle of the island and face the Penitentiary, look up while in Detective Mode and spot the breakable wall, the Chronicle is behind it. RIDDLES ======= 1. CAN YOU SEE WHAT I CAN SEE? NO? THEN MAYBE I AM IN A STRONGER POSITION. Go to the top balcony of the Penitentiary and enter Detective Mode. Unlock the electric gate with the Cryptographic Sequencer in the Surgery Room and get the trophy upstairs. 6. Use the Batclaw to remove a grate in the Patient Obervation Room and get the Riddler Trophy within. 7. Enter Detecive Mode in Secure Access and look for a breakable wall high up, tear it down and enter to grab a trophy. 8. Inside the Experimental Chamber will be a trophy in a vent to the North West of the room. 9. Your last trophy will be on the glass roof above Harley. INTERVIEW TAPES =============== 1. On a desk inside the North East office of the Sanatorium. 2. On a table in the Medical Foyer at the main entrance to the Medical Facility. 3. After clearing the Patient Observation Room of Joker Toxin enter the guard office and grab the tape off the desk. 4. Use the Cryptographic Sequencer in Secure Access to disable the security gate and get the trophy from the desk. 5. Enter the ventilation system in the elevator shaft and turn to the right to drop into Harley's office. Scan the desk to solve the riddle. __________________________________________________ [RCCVS] Caves __________________________________________________ RIDDLER TROPHIES ================ 1. Zip across the gap to the South of the Batcave and grapple up. Approach the edge of the cliff and glide straight across to the platform. Grab the Riddler Trophy. 2. Follow steps for the first trophy then climb the ledges. At the top zip to the platform across and into the tunnel. Inside the cave grapple up to the lowest possible ledge and look outside to the right. Glide down to this platform and pick up the trophy. 3. Once you enter the Old Sewer from the Batcave look to your right and zip across the fall and get the trophy. 4. Upon entering the Old Sewer from the Batcave look for a weakened spot in the ceiling, take it down using the Batclaw and retrieve the trophy inside. 5. Look for a ventilation grate in the Old Sewer and tear it down, inside will be a trophy. 6. Travel through the Old Sewer in Detective Mode and look for a destructible wall, blow it down and grab the trophy behind it. 7. Leap to a metal platform in the center of the Main Sewer Junction, the trophy will be near falling water. 8. Jump to the platforms in the Main Sewer Junction, once you land on the first stone platform on the North East section of the area look to your left. Shimmy acrosCs the column and get the trophy in the opening. 9. Across from the walkway carrying water in the Main Sewer Junction. 10. Walk to the platform via the second fallen column and shimmy around the tower on the platform, grab the trophy on the other side. 11. On the last platform in Main Sewer Junction just before the door to Surface Access look West and zip across to the next platform and grab the trophy. 12. Follow the steps for trophy eleven, turn right and climb up the ledges, follow the narrow walkway to the end. 13. Go to the Pressue Control Junction and look for a weakened spot on the wall, pull it down and get the trophy. 14. Enter the Pressure Control Junction and look for a breakable wall, tear it down and pick up the Riddler Trophy. INTERVIEW TAPES =============== 1. Walk through the Old Sewer until you spot a body at an intersection, an Interview Tape will be next to it. 2. Inside Surface Access you will see a tape on the crates in the hallway. 3. Inside the Pump Control Room zip across to a small platform with barrels, the tape is on the barrels. 4. When you first enter the Control Room from Main Sewer Junction look for an Interview Tape on the barrels. 5. On the way to Killer Croc's lair from Intensive Treatment you will see a tape on a crate in the Control Room. CHRONICLE OF ARKHAM =================== 1. When you first enter the Older Sewer from the Batcave turn around and you will see the Chronicle. 2. Tear down the destructible wall in the Control Room to expose the Chronicle. 3. Inside the elevator shaft in the Pressure Control Junction use explosives to destroy a wall and scan the Chronicle behind it. RIDDLES ======= 1. A PUZZLE HAS MANY SIDES, BUT ONLY SOME ARE VISIBLE. After climbing the second fallen column shimmy along the tower and enter Detective Mode. Line up the question mark with the dot between the missing bricks. __________________________________________________ [RCAKM] Arkham Mansion __________________________________________________ RIDDLER TROPHIES ================ 1. Look for a ventilation grate at the bottom of the stairs in the Mansion Entrance Hall. 2. In the Main Hall look for a statue at the North end, there will be a ventilation grate underneath it. 3. Go towards the end of the South Corridor and turn around, high on the wall will be a grate you can pull down with the Batclaw. 4. On the second floor of the Library, with the glass floor, look to the South East for a ventilation grate and pull it off. 5. Go to the top floor of the Library and enter the vents on the South East part of the room. 6. Enter the East Wing Corridor from the Main Hall and turn left, go into Detective Mode and look for a weakened spot in the wall. The trophy will be behind it. 7. Inside the Warden's Office you will find the trophy on a desk to your right. 8. Go to the West side of the Arkham Records Room and look for a ventilation grate at a ladder on the South. Pull off the grate and get the trophy in the room. 9. Enter the North Corridor and approach the door at the top of the stairs, enter the vents next to the stairs and into a cell. Look for a vent on the high wall of the cell room and enter. Walk to the back room once on the ceiling and pick up the Riddler Trophy. INTERVIEW TAPES =============== 1. Remove the grate from the security booth in the North East end of the Main Hall and get the tape inside. 2. Go to the South end of the Records Room near the electric gate and yank off the vent grate to the East and get the tape on a desk inside. 3. Use the Cryptographic Sequencer in the Library to disable a security gate and get the Interview Tape on the desk. 4. At the top of the stairs in the West Corridor look to your left and pull down the breakable wall and get the tape on the floor inside. 5. On the desk of Dr. Young's Office, can be reached after the henchmen go through the door. CHRONICLE OF ARKHAM =================== 1. Grapple to the room above the Mansion Entrance Hall and use the Explosive Gel on the destructible wall to expose the Chronicle. 2. Go to the North end of the Main Hall and look for a ledge above the statue. Grapple up and scan the Chronicle. 3. Enter the South Corridor and turn to the right. Grapple to the air ducts above and enter Detective Mode. Blow up the wall and scan the Chronicle behind it. RIDDLES ======= 1. WHO IS THE MAIN MAN IN THE MAIN HALL? Go towards the door to the South Corridor and look for a portrait of Commissioner Gordon on the left and scan it. 2. WHAT DOES A BIRD NEED IN THE RAIN? Enter the South Corridor and look for a display case of umbrellas, scan it once you find it. 3. THE FIENDISH PUZZLE LITERALLY APPEARS OUT OF THIN AIR. Grapple on to the air ducts in the South Corridor and enter Detective Mode, line up the question mark on the floor with the dor on the vent and scan. 4. DID AMADEUS GO MAD, OR WAS HE JUST DIZZY? Enter the vents in the North Corridor to a jail cell, go to the second cell and scan the circles on the wall. 5. IT'LL BE A COLD DAY IN HELL WHEN THIS GHOUL RISES AGAIN. Go to the morgue portion of Dr. Young's Office and scan the body in the open drawer. 6. HOW DO YOU MASK YOUR FEELING WITHOUT LOSING CONTROL? Once inside Dr. Young's Office scan the mask next to the safe. 7. A GAME OF CAT AND MOUSE CAN BE PAINFUL. Enter the East Wing Corridor and turn right, scan the display case showing Catwoman;s mask and gloves. 8. ISN'T THE WARDEN TOO OLD FOR A PUPPET SHOW? Inside the Warden's Office is a puppet in a display case, scan it to solve the riddle. 9. OUR RECORDS SHOW THAT A STRANGE TRANSFER REQUEST WAS MADE IN THIS ROOM. Disable the security gate in the South end of the Records Room. Use the Line Launcher to cross the electric floor and scan the files that read "Strange Files". __________________________________________________ [RCPEN] Penitentiary __________________________________________________ RIDDLER TROPHIES ================ 1. In the last stall in the men's room in Cells Access. 2. In the hallway leading to The Green Mile, use Detective Mode to see the breakable wall on the left. The trophy is behind the wall. 3. Enter The Green Mile from the Main Cell Block and look to the right for a trophy in a cell. 4. Go to the North stairs of the Security Control Room and use the Cryptographic Sequencer on the security panel to unlock the gate and gain access to the trophy. 5. On the South East stairs in the Security Control Room is a breakable wall, use Detective Mode to see it. 6. Search the cells on the West side of the Main Cell Block for a trophy, it is inside the third cell from the South. 7. Go into the Guard Room in the Main Cell Block and remove the ventilation grate from the wall using the Bawclaw, the trophy is inside the ducts. 8. Grapple to the second level of Controlled Access and enter Detective Mode, blow up the wall to the left and get the trophy at the bottom. 9. Go to the control area of Extreme Incarceration and use the Cryptographic Sequencer on the #5 control panel. To exit the cell grapple up and blow up the wall. 10. After clearing the Guard Room of Joker Toxin zip across and grab the trophy to the right. INTERVIEW TAPES =============== 1. The first tape is on the desk once you enter the Penitentiary. 2. Enter the Main Cell Block and grapple to the top of the cell in the middle. Go to the guard area and get the tape from the desk. 3. Enter the Guard Room and grab the Interview Tape on the desk to the South. 4. Go to Controlled Access and grapple up, go to the office and get the tape next to the T.V. 5. Go up the stairs to the left in Extreme Incarceration, you will find the tape on the desk on the left side of the room. CHRONICLE OF ARKHAM =================== 1. Unlock cell #5 in Extreme Incarceration and blow up the back wall of the cell to show the Chronicle. 2. Zip across the electrified water behind the breakable wall in the Main Cell Block and locate the Chronicle to the right. 3. Blow up the weakened wall in the Guard Room and tear down the other wall ahead. Throw Batarangs at the control panels to turn on the fans and drop down. Use Explosive Gel on the wall to the South and you will see the Chronicle. RIDDLES ======= 1. HOW DO YOU REFLECT ON YOUR SUCCESSES AND FAILURES, BATMAN? Go to the women's bathroom in Cells Access and scan the mirror at the end. 2. TWO PEOPLE, ONE VOICE, NO GUN? Grapple to the top in the Main Cell Block and go up the ramp ahead, scan the gun on the wall. 3. A CASE OF MISTAKEN IDENTITY? Scan the inmate behind the glass wall on the South side of the Security Control Room. 4. THIS ROOM IS THE END OF DAYS FOR EVEN THE MOST CELEBRATED KILLER. Go down the hallway in Controlled Access and look to the right for a cell with a "Vote Dent" poster. Scan the wall with the poster. 6. ALL ALONE IN YOUR CELL? HANG TIME ========= Perform an inverted takedown from a gargoyle. BREAK YOUR FALL =============== Glide over a henchman and let go of the glide button to drop down on the enemy then take him out. __________________________________________________ [PCIPT] Invisible Predator __________________________________________________ LOCATION: Pump Control Room HOSTILES: 8 WATCH YOUR STEP =============== Place Explosive Gel on any walkway that a henchman is partrolling and wait for them to walk over it. CROWD CONTROL ============= Use the ventilation system to get to the inside of the breakable wall in the middle of the room. Put Explosive Gel on it then lure three henchmen to the wall using Sonic Batarangs. The explosion here is fairly large so you don't have to be as strict with henchmen positioning. GRATE MOVES =========== Using the floor grates on the bottom floor, use a Sonic Batarang to lure a henchman over. Position yourself in the grate so when the enemy is destroying the Batarang his back is turned, then pop out of the grate and do a silent takedown. __________________________________________________ [XCSNK] Silent Knight Extreme __________________________________________________ LOCATION: Medical Facility HOSTILES: 6 THREE FOR THREE =============== Start by entering the ventilation grate behind you and putting Explosive Gel on the destructible wall. Then go back to the bottom floor hall and grapple on top of the office with the breakable ceiling and place Explosive Gel on there. Next, zip across the room (following the walkway) and drop down. Put explosive gel on the wall behind the henchman then go back to the office top. Now drop down to the bottom hall and enter the floor grate, and the end pop out and throw a Sonic Batarang at the first destructible wall and go back into the floor grate. Use Detective Mode to see all of the enemies and watch their positioning, when three of them are next to all of the Explosive areas detonate the Gel. BREAK THROUGH ============= Stand in the office room where you blew up the ceiling and face towards the window. Throw a Sonic Batarang to lure a henchman over and aim your Line Launcher at him when he stops. AERIAL ASSAULT ============== Either use a gargoyle or the office building and glide kick a henchman and take him down. __________________________________________________ [XCRBR] Record Breaker Extreme __________________________________________________ LOCATION: Arkham Records Room HOSTILES: 6 CHAIN REACTION ============== Take out the first enemy to your ledge then get on top of the cabinets in the middle of the room. As the other henchmen move towards their incapacitated friendly you should get a good chance at two of them by using your Line Launcher towards them. THREE IN A ROW ============== This can be done just before the first medal, take out the henchmen to the left and jump up on the cabinet. As other henchmen come by pull out your Remote Control Batarang and throw it their way. It might take a couple tries to get the steering down if you aren't experienced with it. SONIC BOOM ========== Throw a Sonic Batarang at a henchmen and detonate it. __________________________________________________ [XCSVT] Survival Tactics Extreme __________________________________________________ LOCATION: Intensive Treatment Lobby HOSTILES: 6 THE MAGIC NUMBER ================ Easy, get the Triple Batarangs out and aim it so you can hit three henchmen at once and let 'er go. KICK OFF ======== I found it easiest to use against the guy standing next to the office building in the middle. Go to the walkway on the left and zip across the room knocking him off. SHOCK TACTICS ============= Saving this one for the last guy will be really simple. Use Detective Mode and wait for the henchmans status to read "Terrified". To help get him there use Sonic Batarangs and knock him down with Batarangs but not knocking him out. When he is terrified walk in front of him. TUG OF WAR ========== This is best to do first, from the beginning throw a Sonic Batarang at the henchmen to the left and it will detonate. Jump down to the floor and look towards the walkway with the incapacitated henchman.
