How do you merge households? I want to get my young adult to move into someone else's house. Explain?

To merge households, go to edit town by clicking the three dots you use to save the game and select edit town, then save or just continue it doesnt matter. Click your household and evict them, then select your household and click the family you want them to move in with. Now choose which sims you want in the new household by either double-clickin on them or clicking the sim and clicking the arrow. After you have pressed the tick, click your new household and click the button that has a hollow house and a shaded house.

i almost forgot to add that you have to move any other sims you might have in your previous household back into a household. To do this simply select the household and the house you want, then click tick.

On ps3 how do I get a saved game into the neighborhood that I play in? I want these two sims to live seperately, but in the same neighborhood.

Basically to merge new sims with your family go to edit town, select the new sims you created to merge with your family and place copy on the old sims house and select merge
