rosethorn cache quest

I bought rosethorn manner in skingrad then I found this note in the bed room and it has a riddle on it and I suck at riddles, so if anybody has done this n can help all help is appreciated

Ah...you hit the jackpot. Go to the basement and look up at the pillars. You know the two extra diagonal to the main pillars that stick out? Well look for a hourglass that is wedged in one of those. You will get some jewels and a nice ring that is very useful.

Goto the basement and look at he pillars and in one of the openings at the ceiling is an hourglass, that is what the riddle is talking about

Go to the basement, look in the rafters, it's tucked in. You get lots of valuables.

The treasure should be in a hourglass in the basement. You get a few flawless gems and also the ring of the gray which is good for sneaking types.
