For question 1, I'd say to look at the walkthroughs for help. For question 2, I would recommend the house in skingrad as it is big and you can buy a servant. Also, I'll tell you a secret, if you go into the bedroom upstairs, and look on top of the wooden block around the corner from the stairs, there will be a scroll. It's quite hard to reach, but jump from the bed to the small ledge left of it,(you'll have to be facing towards the block, then turn left), and quickly pick it up as you jump off the ledge. When you eventually do this, the scroll will contain a riddle. You have to solve it but don't worry because I'll tell you the answer, which is: an hourglass. Now, go downstairs and into the basement, and look up at the posts and in between the small support and the ceiling there will be, an hourglass! But this is no ordinary hourglass, because if you search it, you will find a magic ring and an assortment of gems. (The hourglass will only appear once you've picked up the scroll.

Phew, that was quite long!

I hope I've helped you!
