The cheats section for this game says that there is a thing called "DLC" what is that? And how do you get it?

DLC stands for Downloadable Content. You have to download it from whatever the Xbox 360's online store is called. As for what it is, it's basically extensive content for the game. There are a few new side chapters (some where you play as different characters to Chris and Sheva), and a larger number of characters will be made available in The Mercenaries. Also, you can download more online gaming options.
