If ANY cheats are enabled, you can not save. :( At first I was pretty dissapointed, but you get used to it, hahaa.

With the saving thing, right after you go to a bed and press "sleep"(?), or "save"(?), then the screen should go black and you'll be able to pick which save spot to save in. But if that doesn't work, set up a campsite and try to save there. If that doesn't work, then I'm out of ideas at the moment :/ sorry, but I hope this helps a little, lol Smile

CMBF answered:

The game saves automatically when you properly exit to the menu. Using cheats disables Achievements and you have to reset the game to re-enable them.

KingofCorn answered:

Cheats disable the ability to get achievements and save your game
