Is it possible to put cheats on your phone when you do not have xbox live?

Question for Grand Theft Auto 4

Is it possible to put cheats on your phone when you do not have xbox live? I go to my phone, and it says multiplayer, and I can't use the numbers on my phone to dial in cheat codes, it says I need xbox live to use the dialpad. Is it possible to turn the multiplayer off so I can use the dialpad? If it is possible to use the dialpad without xbox live, or turn off the multiplayer, or enter the cheats in somewhere else, how do you do it?

Yes it's possible my Xbox live was down and it still able to work and save good luck :p

You definately don't need xbox live to do that. If you begun the game and passed a couple of romans missions, you will be able to use the dialpad. Just press up twice, and the dialpad is ready for use. (the great thing about cheats is, once you use the cheat, it savves in the cheats section of your phone, so you wont have to do it over a bunch of times!) :-D

You MUST complete the first mission you can get from roman (after the intro) to be able to enter cheats
