I just wanna know has anyone figured out how to unlock the rest of the city, and if you have, how?

Once you progress through the main storyline, you will unlock the new areas/islands.

When I done the bank mission with Packie it unlocked the third island. I think it's the last mission with him and it will pay 250,000. He appears about 40% of the way through and is located on the first island. As for unlocking the second island I'm usure of the specific mission but doesn't take long.
