Question for Divinity 2: Ego Draconis

What is the password to open amdusias chest and how do I get it? I can't find the blood but I hear that the scale is in the alter. Is the blood in the chest? Please help me out here.

You can get the password for the chest by reading amdusias' mind. The blood is next to his bed on the bedside stand. Also in the chest is his armour which will keep him from attacking you as you aproach the alter. Pic up the scales and us the book you get from the librarian to change him to human. When you do this attack him up close, he will destroy you with explosive arrows if you attack from a ranged position.
