3. INTRODUCTION
*******************************

There isn't really a story line, but here's what it says in the manual that
comes with the game.

"Hey there all you twisted sickos! Welcome to the show! The object of this
crazy game is to compete against a group of bloodthirsty contestants in a
series of lighthearted and (hopefully) lethal battles. The battles are fought
over a series of four increasingly strange and challenging stages. You'll have
to successfully complete all the battles on a stage before you can advance to
the next. Whether it's another outlandish battle arena, sophisticated weapon,
or oddball contestant, you'll unlock something new everytime you win a battle!"
"The lucky devil who survives all four deadly stages of fun will win the game
and find out what's behind the door of our vault. That's right, it's...THE
PRIZE! Now, I can't tell you what The Prize is exactly, but what I can tell
you is that it's everything your little heart desires...if you're ruthless
enough to claim it!"
"Can't wait to get your greedy little mitts on the fabulous goodies in store
for you? Well, settle down, you drooling maniac! You'll get your chance soon
enough."

As for an introduction to this FAQ, I've tried to list all the information
that could possibly be known about the game. And I written it in the most
logical order, I think. Here's my contact information, but it will also be
down in the credits section and up at the top of this FAQ. My email is:
[email protected]. I believe that the more you know about the game,
the better advantage you have against your opponents. Here's all the knowlege
you need. Anyway, here we go!

4. CONTROLS
*******************************

-------------------------------
4.1. CHARACTER CONTROLS
-------------------------------

Left Stick or D-Pad	Move, turn
A or Y Buttons Jump
B or X Buttons Attack
L Trigger Sidestep left
R Trigger Sidestep right
White Change camera angle
Start Pauses game

-------------------------------
4.2. ON-SCREEN INFORMATION
-------------------------------
There are several different things that give you information in this game.
You can see this information, with pictures, in the manual. Keep an eye on
this information, and also peek at the information on the screen of your
opponents (if you're playing against another person, split-screen).

CLOCK
Indicates the amount of time remaining (in Fragfest) or accrued (in King of
the Hill).

STAR
Indicates the number of stars you've picked up (in Combat).

HEART
Indicates the number of lives you have remaining (in Dodgeball).

SKULL
Indicates the number of kills you've accrued (in Fragfest).

LEADERBEAM
Sometimes a beam of light shines down on the leading character.

HEALTH BAR
This falls after hits, but rises again after time. Obviously, if it runs out,
you die.

RANK
This is really simple. It tells you if you're in 1st, 3rd, or whatever. It
can change often and quickly, so keep an eye on it and your opponents (if
you're playing split-screen). I usually try to go after the guy in 1st (or 2nd
if I'm in first). The rank is on the screen regardless of what mode you're
playing.

*******************************
5. CHARACTERS
*******************************
At the beginning of the game, there are only 4 characters available. You can
unlock 4 more by beating certain battles. The characters are pretty much the
same in skills and controls, they just look different and say different things.
Although, it does appear at times that Toof runs just slightly faster than
other characters.

factory, and he just can't seem to stop grumbling about it!"

6. LEVELS
*******************************
There are 13 different levels in the game. Each have their own pros and cons.
In this section, I will describe each level, along with it's hiding places,
strategic points, where the exclamation points generate, etc. We will also
give each level a rating (1-10) and a rank (1st - 13th). It's kind of hard to
describe the levels, but you'll know what I'm talking about after playing it a
couple of times. In the Levels sections you'll also find a piece of
information not to be found anywhere else, what I call the Missile Time. This
is how long it took a Missile to travel from one character to it's locked
character from one corner of the level to the farthest point. This can give
you a little idea of how big a level is. I also attempted to list all of the
location that the Trophy can generate, but it appears that there are either
lots and lots of places, or it can appear anywhere.

-------------------------------
6.1. CAR CRASH
-------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
The first level of the game, and it's probably the most basic of them all.
The whole level is one big room, that is pretty much flat, with the exception
of the tire in the middle. This tire has two ramps, on which one can get on
top of the tire. A fair amount of stars will drop from the sky and land on the
tire, so it's not a bad idea to check it out every now and then. You may be
able to use the tire to shield yourself from oncoming Missles. There are also
3 shelf-like places along the outside that you can reach from the ground. And,
of course, there is the bumper of a car that can only be reached from on top of
the tire. I don't recommend spending too much time on top of the tire, because
you tend to be seen as a target if you're up there.

MISSILE TIME
 5.23 seconds (10th largest)

HIDING PLACES AND STRATEGIC POINTS
No real hiding places in this level, but you may be able to get away with
staying on the bumper of the car, if your opponents aren't too skilled.
Otherwise, you could be a sitting duck for projectiles.

MOVING PARTS
 None

INTERACTIVE PARTS
 None

WEAPON PLACEMENT
The better weapons will usually appear on the bumper of the car.

EXCLAMATION POINT
The exclamation point appears on the bumper of the car.

KING OF THE HILL LOCATIONS
 1) On one of the three lower side platforms
 2) On another one of the side platforms
 3) A circle on the ground near the tire

INTERESTING NOTES
1) That's not blood all over the level, it's ketchup. Take a look at the
vehicles involved in the accident; one's a ketchup truck.

MICHAEL'S RATING	MICHAEL' RANK
1 out of 10 13th of 13

ZACH'S RATING ZACH'S RANK
1 out of 10 13th of 13

-------------------------------
6.2. CLUB BANO
-------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
You are now fighting upside-down on the ceiling of a bathroom. This level is
still pretty basic, but it definetly has some features not seen in Car Crash.
It is also made up of only one room, but has more places to go, besides the
floor. In the middle of the room is a giant, spinning fan. There are 4 raised
platforms along the side, and three higher up platforms that can only be
reached from the lower platforms or from the fan.

MISSILE TIME
 7.14 seconds (2nd largest)

HIDING PLACES AND STRATEGIC POINTS
Again, you can't really hide in this level. A good strategic point is up on
any of the higher platforms. You can try to hide right next to the ramps along
the side, but it's not a real great place.

MOVING PARTS
 1) The Fan

The fan constantly rotates in the middle of the level.

INTERACTIVE PARTS
 1) The Switch

There is a switch on one of the 4 lower platforms. Jump near it to flip it
and it will cause the fan to spin much faster. All of the stars will fly off
the fan and any character who was on it will soar into the air. Don't get hit
by the edge of the quick-moving fan or you will die instantly.

WEAPON PLACEMENT
The better weapons appear on the 3 high platforms.

EXCLAMATION POINT
The exclamation point appears on one of the high platforms.

KING OF THE HILL LOCATIONS
 1) A circle on the ground near the fan
 2) One of the three higher platforms
 3) On top of the fan, in the center

INTERESTING NOTES
1) Try reading the graffiti scribbled on the walls, it's upside-down so it's
hard to read, but it's interesting.

MICHAEL'S RATING	MICHAEL'S RANK
2 out of 10 12th of 13

ZACH'S RATING ZACH'S RANK
2 out of 10 12th of 13

-------------------------------
6.3. CAN CAN
-------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
This level is still pretty basic, but it has two rooms. There is the big,
main room, which has a stream dividing it in half and a bridge over the stream.
You can cross using the bridge, or just walk through the shallow water. The
other room is really small and you can easily be trapped in there by another
player. On the side opposite the small room, there is a small, heart-shaped
lake.

MISSILE TIME
5.59 seconds (9th largest)

HIDING PLACES AND STRATEGIC POINTS
You could try hiding under the bridge and shoot weapons out at opponents that
pass. I don't recommend staying on top of the bridge too long. You could also
try to use the bridge to block any Missles chasing you.

MOVING PARTS
 1) The Leg

There is a moving leg that kicks back and forth in front of the door to the
small room. Don't get hit by it or it is instant death. Be sure to time your
entrance/exit of the small room. Exiting is trickier to time because you can't
see the leg, but it's not too hard.

INTERACTIVE PARTS
 None

WEAPON PLACEMENT
The best weapons appear inside the small room.

EXCLAMATION POINT
The exclamation point appears inside the small room.

KING OF THE HILL LOCATIONS
 1) Inside the small room
 2) On the heart-shaped lake
 3) Under the bridge
 4) A circle to the left side of the small room
 5) A circle to the right side of the small room

INTERESTING NOTES
1) If you and another character both have the Stick of Reason, go into the
little room and fight in there. There'll be stars going everywhere.

MICHAEL'S RATING	MICHAEL'S RANK
5 out of 10 8th of 13

ZACH'S RATING ZACH'S RANK
5 out of 10 9th of 13

-------------------------------
6.4. NO TRESPASSING
-------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
This level fairly complex, as it is broken up into three parts. There are two
fences seperating the three parts from each other. Each of the fences has only
one gate, and both have a deadly force guarding them. One of the side parts is
pretty dark, one is a road, and the other is grassy. The gate between the road
section and dark part is a dropping floor, which will fall down and come back
up, alternately exposing spikes; the other gate is a swing axe.

MISSILE TIME
6.47 seconds (4th largest)

HIDING PLACES AND STRATEGIC POINTS
Try hanging around just inside the grassy section where you can hide behind
the fence and kill opponents as they enter. You can do a similar thing on the
other side just beyond the gate to the dark area.

MOVING PARTS
 1) Swinging Axe

Time your passage of the Swinging Axe, so you don't get hit. If the axe gets
you, you'll die instantly. You can get hit by the backside of the axe, when
it's swinging away from the center, and get sent flying; the blunt side of the
axe won't kill you.

 2) Dropping Floor

You can cross on the Dropping Floor when it up, or you can try to jump over
the spikes when it's down. Falling into the spikes will kill you, no questions
asked.

INTERACTIVE PARTS
 None

WEAPON PLACEMENT
The better weapons can appear just about anywhere in this level. Try in the
dark section, the grassy section, or the back end of the road (the part without
the fancy-looking gate).

EXCLAMATION POINT
The exclamation point appears in the grassy section, in the back.

KING OF THE HILL LOCATIONS
 1) On the Dropping Floor
 2) A circle with the swinging axe in the middle
 3) A circle on the front side of the road section
 4) A circle on the back side of the road section
 5) A Circle in the dark area

INTERESTING NOTES
 None

ZACH'S RATING ZACH'S RANK

-------------------------------
6.5. CHRISTMAS TREE
-------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
This level is the first of the really complex ones. There is one main room,
and another semi-secret hallway. The main room has a christmas tree in the
middle with a train that constantly goes in circles around it. If you jump
over one of the blocks on the ground, you will find another small room with a
ramp that leads 'upstairs.' There are lots of things to climb on in this level.

MISSILE TIME
4.73 seconds (11th largest)

HIDING PLACES AND STRATEGIC POINTS
If you want to just hide, stay in the hidden room behind the block, or climb
the ramp to the upstairs part. You may be able to fire weapons at opponents
below from up there.

MOVING PARTS
 1) The train

This train goes counter-clockwise around the tree. You can stand on it, but
be sure not to touch the front, you will die instantly. An interesting way to
kill people is to get them stuck on the Pitchfork and hold them out above the
tracks and wait for the train to come and kill them. This is fun to do in
Combat, but don't do it in Fragfest, as you don't get credit for the kill.

INTERACTIVE PARTS
 1) The Spank Tank

This is one of the important questions. Do I go for the tank or not? On the
opposite side of the level from the tank is a battery. If you grab it and
carry it across the level to the tank and press the Attack button, you'll gain
control of the tank. Shoot it as rapidly as possible. This is usually a
pretty good idea in Fragfest, but not in Combat, because somebody could beat
you to the stars.
If somebody else gets the Spank Tank, you do several things. You could attack
them and they will lose control of the tank and you can take control. You can
only take control if you are not holding a weapon. Or you could try to hide
behind the christmas tree in the middle. And, don't forget, you could stay
behind the train and just keep moving with it to keep it between you and the
guy shooting the tank.

WEAPON PLACEMENT
The best weapons appear up on top of the upstairs part. The tank is a pretty
good weapon,too.

EXCLAMATION POINT
The exclamation point appears upstairs. You'll have to jump over the gap to
reach the far side where it appears.

KING OF THE HILL LOCATIONS
 1) On top of the train
 2) On top of one of the presents along the wall
 3) On top of the present on which the battery appears

INTERESTING NOTES
1) Take a look at the presents around the level. Some are from the
commercials, such as My First Chainsaw.

6.6. DEATH WALL
-------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
This is probably the smallest level. It is only one rectagular room. But
it's more complicated than that. The walls have spikes that come in and out,
killing anyone who touches them.

MISSILE TIME
4.24 seconds (12th largest)

HIDING PLACES AND STRATEGIC POINTS
There is nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. The only thing I can say here is
the obvious, stay away from the walls.

MOVING PARTS
 1) The walls

Like I said before, the walls have spikes that come in and out. They will
kill you instantly. Which is a good reason to make your opponents touch them.

INTERACTIVE PARTS
 None

WEAPON PLACEMENT
Not really any one place that is guaranteed to give you a good weapon. The
level is so small you can see all your choices at once, so just pick the best
one you can get to.

EXCLAMATION POINT
The exclamation point appears in the very middle of the level.

KING OF THE HILL LOCATIONS
 1) A circle in the center
 2) The section on one end of the level
 3) The section on the other end of the level

INTERESTING NOTES
1) If you are carrying the Trophy and run into the spikes, the Trophy will
bounce away from the wall a little ways.

6.7. ARTIC PIPELINE
-------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
This is one of the more complex levels. There is a main room, which is
separated into two halves by a ravine filled with burning oil. If you fall in
the ravine, you may catch on fire, so be careful. The ravine will not have
fire if you're playing Dodgeball. There are also two other parts. One is the
control room. It's a small room with a backdoor that leads to the last portion
of the level, a hallway. This hallway leads from the control room to an
opening above the ravine.

MISSILE TIME
6.93 seconds (3rd largest)

HIDING PLACES AND STRATEGIC POINTS
A very good place is inside the hallway. It's difficult for missiles to hit
you, if you go in there. There are two ways to get to you when you're in
there, so it may be difficult to watch your back, but you can watch your
opponents screen (if playing multi-player with a split-screen), to know where
they are coming from.
Another great place is just under the switch, inside the pipe. You can see
the little spot from the side of the level with the control room. It's just a
small indent and fairly hard to time your jump just right to get in there, but
it's a great place to hide if somebody has an exclamation point. Sometimes a
weapon will generate in there as well.

MOVING PARTS
 None

INTERACTIVE PARTS
 1) The control room switch

This switch is in the main room, on the side opposite the control room. It's
up on top of a snow-covered pipe-like thing. Hit this switch and the doors
will close to the control room. Then a fire will start in the control room.
If you are in the control room when the doors start closing, there is a small
gap in the spiked front door you may be able to sneak out from before the fire
starts. Or try the door in the back. Once the switch is flipped, you only
have a second or two to evacuate.

WEAPON PLACEMENT
A pretty good weapon will sometimes generate inside the hallway, or on the
side of the main room opposite the control room. There also could be a good
one in the very back of the control room.

EXCLAMATION POINT
The exclamation point appears inside the control room.

KING OF THE HILL LOCATIONS
 1) Inside the hallway
 2) Inside the control room
 3) Along the snowbank on the side of the main room with the switch
 4) A circle on the ground on the side of the main room with the switch

INTERESTING NOTES
 1) You'll notice that the burning oil came from Asson Oil.

6.8. JOYRIDE
-------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
This is one of the bigger levels, if not the biggest. It it composed of two
main sections. These sections are the truck and the police car. On the back
of the truck, you can go up onto the ledges along the side or on top of a tool
box. On the police car, the only place you can go besides the hood is on the
front bumper. We have spotted some glitches in this level. When the truck
swerves, you may go right through the wall, especially near the back of the
truck.

MISSILE TIME
11.65 seconds (1st largest)

HIDING PLACES AND STRATEGIC POINTS
There's only one out-of-the-way place in this level, and that's behind the
toolbox. Also, in a majority of the games I've played, most people stay on the
truck rather than the police car, so if you want some privacy, it might be
vacant over there.

MOVING PARTS
 1) The truck itself

The truck swerves often, sending the players to either the left or the right.
This isn't too much of a hassle except in Chicken, in which all the chickens
are blown right up to you. Unfortunately, this is where there is a major bug
in the game. If the truck swerves, you may go right through the wall to your
death. I've also gone through the floor and died.

INTERACTIVE PARTS
 1) Blow torch

You can grab the matches from the hood of the police car and bring them on top
of the toolbox on the truck. Press the attack button to use the blow torch.
It has a lot of range, and it is pretty powerful. On the down-side, it leaves
you wide open for somebody to whack you in the back.

WEAPON PLACEMENT
There are sometimes good weapons on the window sill behind the toolbox, or on
the police car. Be sure to check the bumper for weapons. Also try the very
corner parts of the tailgate. There's a little lower square on each corner and
they will often have a good weapon like a dodgeball.

EXCLAMATION POINT
The exclamation point appears on the center of the hood of the police car.

KING OF THE HILL LOCATIONS
 1) The left side ledge of the truck
 2) The right side ledge of the truck
 3) The police symbol on the police car
 4) The window sill of the truck
 5) A circle in the center of the back of the truck

INTERESTING NOTES
1) Read the words written on the hood of the police car, it says "Middle of
Nowhere Police".

6.9. JEFFREY'S KITCHEN
-------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
This level is on a kitchen counter. Like any kitchen counter, there is a sink
in the middle. This kitchen also has plenty of various food items (including a
box of Nate O's) and a book scattered about. One side of the level is a
complete drop off, as a kitchen counter should be, but you can't forget about
the small cutting board and the drawer, which extend the counter a little
further. There is a thin ledge between the sink and edge of the counter, which
you can use if you have nimble thumbs, but be especially careful there.

MISSILE TIME
5.64 seconds (8th largest)

HIDING PLACES AND STRATEGIC POINTS
An excellent hiding place is inside the drawer, especially if somebody has the
Freeze Gun. Another strategic spot is on top of the high tower of stuff in the
one corner.

MOVING PARTS
 None

INTERACTIVE PARTS
 1) Switch/Drain

There is a switch above a row of stuff on the side of the level with the book.
Flip this switch and the sink's drain will go for about 10 seconds. Anybody
near it will be sucked down, costing them a life, or lots of stars. If you are
in the sink when somebody flips the switch, you might not die, if you are
fairly far from the drain and have a fast thumb.

WEAPON PLACEMENT
The better weapons may show up on top of the tall stack of stuff in the
corner, on top of the box of Nate O's, or on the ledge between the sink and the
edge of the counter. You can often find a Stick of Reason on the cutting board.

EXCLAMATION POINT
The exclamation point appears on top of a jar near the box of Nate O's.

KING OF THE HILL LOCATIONS
 1) The book
2) The small package of meat (or whatever it is) in the very corner, near the
edge
 3) In the center of the sink
 4) On top of the tall stack of stuff in the corner
 5) On the row of stuff by the switch

INTERESTING NOTES
1) Try to read the labels on the different things on the counter, one's a box
of Nate O's.

6.10. HIGH RISE
-------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
One of the more complex levels. It has 4 main platforms. There's the roof of
the main building (with the incredibly thin ramp and the air vents), the roof
of the other building, and the 2 tiered platforms with the elevator things on
the side. It's pretty easy to fall off in this level, so be careful.

MISSILE TIME
6.00 seconds (6th largest, tied)

HIDING PLACES AND STRATEGIC POINTS
There is a hidden ledge on the side of the main building, the one with the
blowing vents, that you can jump down to. You can use this spot to avoid the
girder or to sneak attack your opponents.

MOVING PARTS
 None

INTERACTIVE PARTS
 1) The elevators

There are two elevators in this level. They are the only way to get back up
from the lowest platform. It's easy to get knocked off these, so be careful
there. When you are riding the elevator up you can also jump at the exact
right time and go flying really high. This will surprise your opponent.

 2) The girder

There is also a girder that swings by and knocks people off the roof of the
main building. This girder can be activated by using a
green-button-weapon-thing found on the roof of the second building. It has now
been found that it is possible to actually jump on top of the girder and ride
it.

 3) The vents

There are two vents on the roof of the big building that will blow you to the
roof of the green building.

WEAPON PLACEMENT
Good weapons can be sometimes found on a little ledge down near the lowest
platform, or on the ledge by the screen that shows a commercial for "Bouncy
Cheese." Also try the ledge where the exclamation point appears.

EXCLAMATION POINT
The exclamation point appears on a ledge on the second building.

KING OF THE HILL LOCATIONS
 1) Under the "Bouncy Cheese" screen
 2) On the very thin ramp on the main building
 3) A circle on the main building
 4) The entire roof of the second building

INTERESTING NOTES
 1) Bouncy cheese sounds pretty appetizing to me, too.

6.11. SPACE WALK
-------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
This level is one of the biggest ones. There's a few main platforms with lots
of narrow paths connecting them together. There's also a small, indoor part.
And there's a tower on the roof of the indoor part. You may also notice a
large, rotating Van Tastic head. This is the easiest level to fall off of the
edge.

MISSILE TIME
6.45 seconds (5th largest)

HIDING PLACES AND STRATEGIC POINTS
Can't really hide anywhere in this level, but it may be a good idea to climb
the tower or head over towards the platform with rotating "Van head".

MOVING PARTS
 1) Rotating platform

Between the main platform and the big platform with a spring, there is a
rotating platform. This has almost zero effect on the game, it can just be
annoying when you're trying to jump on it from the lower platform and can't get
on it because it's high side is nearest you and you can't get up, so you fall
to your death.

INTERACTIVE PARTS
 1) Thrusters

There is the thruster, which can be activated by flipping a switch on the
pillar inside the indoor part. This will cause a burst of wind to push against
everybody. If you're in a good position, this will be no problem, but in some
places, you'll fall off no matter what you do.

 2) Springs

And there's the two springs, you can use them to escape, or for quick travel,
etc.  One will bounce you from one corner of the level to the opposite corner;
the other will just send you from a lower platform to a higher one just above
it.

WEAPON PLACEMENT
The good weapons will probably appear on top of the roof of the inside part,
on the top of the tower, or on the part with a big, spinning Van Tastic head.

EXCLAMATION POINT
The exclamation point appears up on the part with Van Tastic's head.

KING OF THE HILL LOCATIONS
 1) The small circular thing in the very center of the level
 2) The entire platform on which Van Tastic's head spins
3) One of the round platforms on the opposite side of the level as the indoor
part
4) On the other round platform on the opposite side of the level as the indoor
part

6.12. PIRATE SHIP
-------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
You're now on a toy boat floating in a bathtub. Careful observation will lead
you to realize that a TV fell into the bathtub, causing the water to be
electrified. Both tips of the boat have a cannon that can shoot you up into
the sails. There are several rafters up among the sails that you can fight on.
There's also a small bowl-shaped platform at the very top of the mast. There
are also two cannons on the sides of the boat, one can shoot you to the rubber
ducky, but there's not much of a reason to be there. And I can't leave out the
small room on one side of the boat and there's also a plank.

MISSILE TIME
Sorry, this test was impossible in this level because all the sails blocked
the missile, even if it was locked on another character on the other side of
the ship.

HIDING PLACES AND STRATEGIC POINTS
If you really want to be alone, use one of the cannons that shoot you into the
sails and try to fly up onto the platform on top of the mast. It seems like
it's harder to get up to the top when the Exclamation Point is there. Or maybe
it's just psychological.

MOVING PARTS
 1) The water

The water raises and lowers, covering the bottom of the boat every now and
then. So if you hear the sound of the water, get to higher ground, pronto.

2) The duck

Occasionally a rubber ducky comes floating by and you can jump onto it's bill
or on it's back. You can jump there from the sails or use one of the side
cannons. Usually a cannon will appear on the duck's bill, but it's difficult
to jump back to the ship with the cannon in hand. Another interesting note,
any stars on the duck's back bounce up and down wildly.

INTERACTIVE PARTS
 1) The button
 2) The cannons
 3) The treasure chest

There is a button in the very middle of the boat that control the two cannons
on the sides. It will cause the left one to go to the right and vice versa.
Use this to kill oncoming opponents. Be careful when doing this so you don't
kill yourself by mistake.

There are 4 cannons on the level, one on each side of the ship. The two on
the front and back of the ship will fire you up to the sails (or right over
them); the two on the sides of the ship should not be used, they'll fire you
out into the water (or onto the rubber ducky if you're lucky).

There is also a treasure chest underneath one of the cannons in a small room.
If you jump on top of it, the water will rise.

WEAPON PLACEMENT
A good weapon might appear up in the sails

EXCLAMATION POINT
The exclamation point appears on the platform on top of the mast. Use a
cannon to get there.

KING OF THE HILL LOCATIONS
 1) The lower portion of one of the sails
 2) One of the rafters among the sails
 3) Inside the room
 4) A circle around the button in the middle of the boat

INTERESTING NOTES
 1) Any stars that appear on the duck's back will bounce up and down.

6.13. HELL
-------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
This level is a bunch of interconnected parts, like Spacewalk. All of the
large platforms have thinner paths leading to each other. One of the center
parts has a chicken cage, on which you will have to climb a couple of nearby
steps and jump to, if you want to get on top of it. But, when somebody is up
there, two claws will come together and kill anybody standing on the front half
of the chicken cage. And there are two other chicken cages that lower into the
lava. There a couple of 'lava falls' that will catch you on fire if you touch
them.

MISSILE TIME
 6.00 seconds (6th largest, tied)

HIDING PLACES AND STRATEGIC POINTS
Not many places in which to run and hide, nor is there any platform that's
high above the rest to use as a vantage point. Sorry.

MOVING PARTS
 1) Chicken cages

There are two chicken cages that lower into the lava. They will hover above
the lava for while before dropping into the lava for a second or two.

INTERACTIVE PARTS
 1) The bouncers

No, not the kind you find in dances, but similar to the ones you find in
Spacewalk. There are three of them in this level.

WEAPON PLACEMENT
A good weapon might appear on top of the chicken cage in the center of the
level.

EXCLAMATION POINT
The exclamation point appears on top of the chicken cage in the center of the
level.

KING OF THE HILL LOCATIONS
 1) On the chicken cage in the center of the level
 2) On one of the chicken cages that lower into lava
 3) On the other chicken cage that lowers into lava
 4) A circle in the center of the level
 5) A rectangle on one side of the level

INTERESTING NOTES
1) My brother once got shish-ka-bobbed when he was standing on one of the
platforms that drops into the lava and he just stuck to the wall while the
platform sank and came back up. It worked out pretty well for him.

**************************
7. WEAPONS
**************************
There are 20 weapons in the game. They are rated in 3 categories: Damage, Star
Loss, and Rate of Fire. These are on a scale of 0 to 5, with 5 being the
highest. I will also include what weapon groups they appear in (there's
Annnoy, Basic, Explosives, Melee, and Batter Up), what levels the weapon is
most useful in, and some notes about how to use (or avoid) them the best. The
weapons are arranged by how you use them, then alphabetically. If you are
carrying a weapon and would like to switch, just stand by the weapon you want
for a couple seconds and it will replace the one you have.

-------------------------
7.1. HOMING WEAPONS
-------------------------

***BEE-HIVE***
Damage: 4
Star Loss: 3
Rate of Fire: 1
Most useful in:	Smaller levels
Groups: Projectiles, Annoy, Mega Damage
Michael's Rating: 8/10
Notes:

The Bees have preet good homing capabilities. If the bees start swarming
around you, hold still! If you keep running around, you will be guaranteed
death, but if you hold still, there's a chance the bees won't attack you. It's
best to use it in smaller levels, because you can send the bees to someone and
then be able to attack them while they're standing still. Also, you'll have a
really hard time standing still if you're standing in the snow of Artic
Pipeline.

***GOODBYE DOGGIE***
Damage: 5
Star Loss: 4
Rate of Fire:	1
Most useful in:	Simpler levels
Groups: Explosives, Annoy, Mega Damage
Michael's Rating: 9/10
Notes:

The Doggie has really good following capabitlies. It always goes after the
leader of the 3 characters besides the guy who started it going. You know it's
following you if you get an orange bone symbol on your character. It's kind of
slow, so if you use a lot of jumping or sidestepping around, you may be able to
juke it. Ideally, you'd get it to hit another player instead of yourself. One
hit from the Goodbye Doggie will kill you. Another trick is to get it off you
is to, well, fall to 2nd place, and the Doggie's target will change to the
character who is now in the lead. It's better to use the Goodbye Doggie in
simple levels because there's less things for it to run into and accidentally
explode early.

***MISSILE***
Damage: 5
Star Loss: 4
Rate of Fire:	1
Most useful in:	Simpler levels
Groups: Basic, Explosives, Projectiles, Mega Damage
Michael's Rating: 9/10
Notes:

This weapon has excellent homing skills, but it's really slow. You'll know one
is on your tail if an icon of the missile appears on your character. If one is
after you, try to get it to collide with the floor, a wall, or an opponent;
anything but yourself. The Missile will kill you in one hit. Again, this one
is better to use in simple levels so it doesn't run into anything but your
opponent.

***PLUNGER MISSLE***
Damage: 3
Star Loss: 2
Rate of Fire:	3
Most useful in:	Simpler levels
Groups: Basic, Explosives, Projectiles
Michael's Rating: 6/10
Notes:

The Plunger Missile doesn't have nearly as good of tracking capabilites as the
regular Missile, but it will still do a pretty good job. You'll know one is
coming for you if the red plunger missile icon appears on your character. You
can try all the same tricks as the regular Missile to juke it. It's better in
simple levels because of the same reasons as the other homing weapons.

------------------------
7.2. THROWING WEAPONS
------------------------

***CANNON***
Damage: 4
Star Loss: 4
Rate of Fire:	1
Most useful in:	Levels with high platforms
Groups: Explosives, Projectiles, Mega Damage
Michael's Rating: 9/10
Notes:

The most powerful of the throwing weapons, but fires really slowly. Don't use
the Cannon during close-quarters combat, as the cannon blast will hurt you,
too. This is an excellent weapon if used from a high location. Don't use it
if you are standing on an edge or thin area because the recoil sends you
backwards a little and you may fall off the edge.

***CLEAVER***
Damage: 2
Star Loss: 1
Rate of Fire:	3
Most useful in:	Chicken
Groups: Basic, Projectiles, Annoy
Michael's Rating: 3/10
Notes:

The Cleaver is just your regular throwing axe. It can be throw pretty quickly,
but if you only throw it one at a time, you might get a it to use its slight
tracking power. Doesn't do much damage nor make the opponent drop a lot of
stars, so I'd go for almost anything else if possible. The only exception is
when playing Chicken, it'll kill more chickens in less time than any other
weapon, except maybe the Yolk-A-Matic.

***CLUSTER DUCK***
Damage: 3
Star Loss: 2
Rate of Fire:	2
Most useful in:	Can be used anywhere equally.
Groups: Basic, Explosives, Projectiles
Michael's Rating: 4/10
Notes:

The Cluster Duck is basically a bouncy grenade that's shaped like a duck. You
can either release them one at a time, or release all 5 at once by holding down
the attack button and waiting until the counter over your head counts down to
zero. Once it's at zero, you will toss 5 Cluster Ducks in front of you when
you release the attack button. I recommend firing off all five at once. If
you happen to get the Cluster Ducks when you have the Plague, the Ducks carry
the Plague along with them. I've only seen it happen once, though.

***DODGEBALL***
Damage: 0
Star Loss: 5
Rate of Fire:	1
Most useful in:	Deathwall, Spacewalk, High Rise
Groups: Projectiles
Michael's Rating: 6/10
Notes:

These balls bounce all over the level. Grab one and throw it at an opponent.
If an oppenent throws one at you, you can press the Attack button at just the
right moment and you can catch it right out of the air. If you don't want to
do that, just sidestep or jump out of the way. The Dodgeball does not cause
any damage, but it will release a ton of stars from anybody unfortunate enough
to get hit. This weapon can be especially destructive when playing Dodgeball
in Deathwall. If you get hit by the ball and it knocks you into the spiked
wall, you lose 2 lives. You'll also lose two if you get hit by a Dodgeball and
it knocks you off the level.

***SHISH-KA-BOB***
Damage: 2
Star Loss: 4
Rate of Fire:	2
Most useful in:	Deathwall, Spacewalk, High Rise
Groups: Projectiles, Target Practice
Michael's Rating: 7/10
Notes:

You get 5 Shish-Ka-Bobs to fire at opponents. This is pretty much a giant
needle that will stick your opponent to the nearest wall. It's especially good
in Spacewalk and High Rise because they will get stuck to an invisible wall way
out in the middle of nowhere and will fall to certain doom. It's also nice in
Deathwall, because they'll stick to the wall and will most likely get killed by
the spikes. You can also pound them with another weapon while they're hanging
on the wall.

***YOLK-O-MATIC***
Damage: 2
Star Loss: 2
Rate of Fire:	5
Most useful in:	Anywhere
Groups: Projectiles, Mega Damage
Michael's Rating: 10/10
Notes:

This weapon is awesome. It has a super-fast fire rate and can kill opponents
very quickly. It shoots out eggs so fast they blur together. I'd grab it
without question if I saw it. You can see it in action during one of the
commercials. If your opponent gets one, I'd just avoid him.

-----------------------
7.3. MELEE WEAPONS
-----------------------

***CACTUS***
Damage: 2
Star Loss: 1
Rate of Fire:	3
Most useful in:	Anywhere
Groups: Melee, Annoy
Michael's Rating: 6/10
Notes:

The cactus is pretty quick, especially in the hands of a computer player on
Whacked difficulty. It can kill a guy without taking too much time. Again, I
prefer to avoid players with cactus' unless I also have a pretty good weapon.

***FREEZE GUN***
Damage: 0
Star Loss: 0
Rate of Fire:	5
Most useful in:	Deathwall, Spacewalk, High Rise
Groups: Target Practice
Michael's Rating: 10/10
Notes:

This is one of my favorite weapons. You shoot out a freezing cold blast that
can freeze opponents into a solid block of ice. Frozen characters may slide
into the deathwall, or off a ledge. After you've been frozen and then thawed,
you'll be invincible to Freeze Guns for about 10 seconds (you'll be blue during
this time). Use this time to attack the carrier of the Freeze Gun.

***MALLET***
Damage: 2
Star Loss: 3
Rate of Fire:	3
Most useful in:	Bigger levels
Groups: Melee
Michael's Rating: 5/10
Notes:

You'll grab this hammer that can smash people pretty good and you'll move
faster than usual, too. Unfortunately, you lose some control of your character
and you can't move backwards at all. You also can't jump very well. I usually
avoid this weapon, unless it's a last resort.

***PITCHFORK***
Damage: 3
Star LOss: 3
Rate of Fire:	2
Most useful in:	Anywhere
Groups: Melee
Michael's Rating: 4/10
Notes:

Once you've got an opponent on your pitchfork, you can either hold them on it
for a few seconds, or you can send them flying over your head. Or you can hold
them and put them in the path of danger, like the deathwall or the train.

***STAPLER***
Damage: 2
Star Loss: 3
Rate of Fire:	2
Most useful in:	Anywhere
Groups: Basic, Melee
Michael's Rating: 2/10
Notes:

It acts just like you'd expect a Stapler to; it staples opponents to the
ground. This is the best melee weapon to use in Chicken because you might be
able to kill more than one chicken at a time. I don't prefer to use this
weapon in regular combat though, unless I can't find anything better.

***STICK OF REASON***
Damage: 2
Star Loss: 4
Rate of Fire:	2
Most useful in:	Deathwall, Pirateship, High Rise, Spacewalk
Groups: Basic, Melee, Batter Up, Target Practice
Michael's Rating: 7/10
Notes:

This is just a baseball bat. It is pretty darn powerful, sending opponents
flying a long, long way. They'll drop a lot of stars as well. You can avoid
it by sending a homing weapon at the guy who weilds the Stick of Reason.

***THE SHOCKER***
Damage: 2
Star Loss: 2
Rate of Fire:	5
Most useful in:	Bigger levels
Groups: Basic, Melee, Annoy
Michael's Rating: 3/10
Notes:

You lose all control of yourself as you shock your opponent. It hurts them
fairly bad, but it makes you quite vulnerable. They could try to slam you into
the deathwall or something while you're shocking them. I hardly ever use this
weapon.

***URP!***
Damage: 0
Star Loss: 0
Rate of Fire:	2
Most useful in:	Artic Pipeline, Deathwall
Groups: Annoy
Michael's Rating: 3/10
Notes:

If you have the Urp can and you catch fire, you can blow firey burps towards
opponents. That's why it's good to have in Artic Pipeline, just jump down into
the fire there you go. It's also good in Deathwall because you can burp them
into the spikes. You can also charge it up for a bigger burp.

------------------------
7.4. TRICK WEAPONS
------------------------

***STAR MINES***
Damage: 3
Star Loss: 2
Rate of Fire:	4
Most useful in:	Anywhere
Groups: Explosives
Michael's Rating: 4/10
Notes:

You can place 5 of these little exploding stars anywhere you want. They look
similar to real stars, but if you look closely, you'll see that they are
actually upside-down. If you placed them, you can just run right through them,
but they'll cause serious damage to opponents. If you place them while you're
invisible, they'll be practically invisible too. I recommend you either put
the Star Mines where the Exclamation Point generates, or right by an
interactive item, like a switch, spring, cannon, or something.

***STICKY BOMB***
Damage: 3
Star Loss: 3
Rate of Fire:	3
Most useful in:	Anywhere
Groups: Annoy
Michael's Rating: 1/10
Notes:

This is, in my opinion, the worst weapon in the game. If you get them, you
have 5 Sticky Bombs to place on your opponents. You have to be close by them
to do it. If a player with a Sticky Bomb on him gets hit (by anything), he'll
explode. If you have a Sicky Bomb (or several), you can get them off you by
Jump Attacking another character. The bombs will then be transferred from you
to them. The only way to really use it is to get a couple Sticky Bombs on an
opponent, search for another weapon, and hit them with it. They'll explode,
giving you lots of stars, unless somebody already saw them with Sticky Bombs on
them and killed them while you were searching for another weapon. That's why I
consider this the worst weapon in the game.

8. GAME MODES
*********************

On the main menu, there are 5 different selections, Gameshow Mode, Battle
Mode, Rehearsal, Theater, and Settings. Here's some information on each of
those.

---------------------
8.1. GAMESHOW MODE
---------------------
This is the single-player part of the game. So if you don't have any buddies
around, it would be a good time to try this part out. The gameshow is made up
of 4 stages, composed of 3 studios with 3 battles each. So each stage has 9
battles, for 27 total battles to beat all four stages. You can play any of the
studios on the stage in any order, but you must beat the first battle of that
studio before proceeding to the second.
Every time you win one of the battles, something will be unlocked. You can
either unlock a weapon, a character, a question mark power, a commercial, or a
character movie. Once a weapon or question mark power has been unlocked, it
can randomly generate during Battle Mode games.
Once you've beaten the 4th stage, it will unlock the Hell level, and if you
beat it, it will unlock an ending for the character in which you used. I
recommend beating Hell with all the characters just to see the endings and
prizes.

---------------------
8.2. BATTLE MODE
---------------------

Due to the fact that we don't have XBox Live, I'm not sure what happens when
that option is selected. We always just use Single XBox. There are some
setting to select before playing. You must choose which map to play on, the
difficulty of computer players (if any), game type, game limit, and weapon
types.
There are six different types of games in Battle Mode. Five of them, Combat,
Dodgeball, Grab 'N' Run, Fragfest, and King of the Hill, can be played with
more than one human player. The sixth game, Chicken, is only available if it
will be one human vs. 3 computer players.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
8.2.1. COMBAT
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In Combat, you will be trying to collect either 50, 100, 150, or 200 stars,
whichever the game was set for. There will be white stars on the ground; they
fall from the sky. Collect these as fast as possible. You can also attack an
opponent, either with your fist or a weapon, and make them drop stars of their
color. When you are attacked, you'll also drop stars. The number of stars a
character drops depends on what weapon they were attacked with.
You can't collect stars of your own color, but if they sit uncollected for
about 5 seconds, they'll turn white and you can collect them. You will also
lose stars when you fall off an edge and they will fall from the sky as white
stars.
You will lose more stars when killed if you are in 1st place, than any other
player would when killed with the same weapon.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
8.2.2. DODGEBALL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In Dodgeball, there's only one weapon: the Dodgeball. Each player will start
with a pre-chosen amount of "lives." You can choose from 4, 6, 8, or 12 lives.
Every time you get hit by a Dodgeball, you lose one of these lives. When you
hit somebody, you may get a life back. It seems that if you want to increase
the odds of getting a life back, alternate on who you hit. Getting hit by a
Dodgeball can be especially frusturating in Deathwall, when a Dodgeball could
hit you and knock you into the spikes (this costs you two lives).
When somebody throws a Dodgeball at you, and you facing them and are not
holding a Dodgeball yourself, you can press the attack button at the exact
right moment and catch the ball out of the air.
Also, watch out for richoceting Dodgeballs. Being hit by one will cost you a
life, even if it was thrown by you. I've even been hit by a ball that bounced
off of an opponent.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
8.2.3. GRAB 'N' RUN
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In Grab 'N' Run, there is a yellow Trophy (that says YAY on the side). You
must try to hold onto the Trophy as long as you can. You accumulate time as
you hold it. The first character to have held the trophy for the chosen time
(one through four minutes) wins. If you die, your time stays where it was
until you get the Trophy again.
You can get the Trophy by killing the character with it. Once the person with
trophy dies, it will fall right there and you can grab it. There are a few
exceptions to it falling right where the guy died. If he died by running into
the Deathwall, the trophy will bounce a bit toward the center of the level. If
he died by falling off an edge, the trophy will randomly appear somewhere in
the level. I tried to make a list of the possible regeneration points, but it
seems that it can regenerate pretty much anywhere.
While you hold the Trophy, you run much slower and can barely jump at all.
Try to keep running away from everybody, and use the springs in Spacewalk, the
air vents in Highrise, or any other surroundings you can find to try to escape
from the other players.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
8.2.4. FRAGFEST
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This type of Battle Mode gives the game it's first-person shooter type of
touch. All you have to do in Fragfest is kill your opponents more times than
anybody else did. You don't have to collect stars or trophies after killing
them, so don't worry about that. Use high-powered weapons, like Yolk-o-matic
or something, if you can find them. If not, the Cleaver is usually a pretty
good weapon.
If you accidently commit suicide while playing Fragfest, your kill count will
be subtracted by one. The only exception to this rule is if you were already
at zero kills. You can't go into the negative numbers. My brother, Zach,
currently holds the family record for highest kill count in a 3 minute
Fragfest, 22. But usually somebody will win if they get 11 or 12 kills, at
least in 3 minute games.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
8.2.5. KING OF THE HILL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The last of the games that can be played with more than one human player. In
this one, killing an opponent doesn't count for anything, it just gets them out
of the way for a moment. Your objective in King of the Hill is to stand on a
green, swirly area of the level. This green area varies in size, but it's
usually pretty small. I've tried to list all the possible green, swirly areas
up in the Levels section, but I might have missed some. Some levels have more
Hill locations than others.
Just stay on it for the set amount of time first to win. While you're on the
green area, try to smash your opponents using the Mallet or the Jump Attack,
because if you are smashed, you don't accumulate time. You do, however,
accumulate time if you are frozen or if you are stuck to the wall with a
Shish-Ka-Bob as long as you stay on/above the green area. Your time will also
increase if you are in the air above the green area as you're jumping.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
8.2.6. CHICKEN
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This one can only be done if it's just you, with no other players. It's
pretty good practice, though. It will be you versus a lot of chickens and you
must kill them and collect their stars. You will win if you can collect the
pre-determined amount of stars. It's a lot like Combat, except it's just you
and a bunch of chickens.

-----------------------
How to Walk with a Rock
-----------------------
A guy is shown carrying large rock and the narrator says, "Hello children.
Have you ever wondered how to walk with a rock? Here are some ways you can

Holds it with one hand and one foot as he walks on his other hand and foot
 Balances it on one finger
Drags it behind him with his hands while scooching along

fish???"

--------
Scrapple
--------
This commercial alternates between three scenes, a pig on a conveyerbelt, a
bunch of pink goop falling into a jar, and several pigs dancing. All the
while, a song is being sung, "Grind up a pig, put it in a can...Scrapple!
Grind up a pig, put it in a can...Scrapple! Yes I am, a Scrapple man, think
I'll have another can. Grind up a pig, put it in a can. Scrapple."

----------
Spank Tank
----------
This one shows a kid sitting on the floor with his back against the wall, when
a voice from out of the scene says, "Hey, Billy, want a battery?" Billy has
just enough time to say, "All right" when a huge battery come flying and
smashes him into the wall. He pries the battery off himself then says, "I will
crush you!" He puts the battery into the tank and starts blasting.

------------
Yolk-o-matic
------------
The scene is a kitchen. Be sure to notice that the picture hanging on the wall
says "FART." The narrator says, "Tired of feeding your family one egg at a
time?" Then one guy at the table gets a Yolk-o-matic and starts firing it at
the other family members. Oh, and by the way, it's not available in Iowa.

9. GAMEPLAY TIPS
**************************
1) The only time you should stand comletely still is if the Bees are on you.
Otherwise, keep moving around, even during Upside-Down Cam, or while standing
on the Hill.

2) In some situations, it might be better to leap off an edge than take a hit,
like to keep an opponent from grabbing the Trophy you were holding or from
immediately grabbing the stars you would've dropped.

**************************
10. QUESTION MARKS
**************************
The Question Marks will usually have something good for you to get, but
sometimes you'll regret grabbing it. There are a few bad effects that may come
from the Question Mark, but they're pretty rare. On Fire is the most common of
the bad ones.

-----
Armor
-----
Your character turns gold-plated and nobody can hurt him. You can still fall
off the edge, get killed by Death, get kicked by the Can Can Leg, or killed by
the Death Wall, though.

-------
Da Bomb
-------
This one is guaranteed death. There'll be a ticking bomb above your head. It
lasts 10 seconds. The only thing you can do is try to stay next to somebody,
so when the bomb goes off, it takes them out as well. Actually, death is not
100% guarenteed. You can lose the bomb if somebody hits a Big Red Button and
it causes you to be It (a red arrow replaces the bomb). I've only seen it
happen once.

---------
Double Up
---------
A crown will appear on your head. Every star you collect will count as if you
had collected two stars. The only down-side is that if you hit a Starmine,
you'll lose a lot of extra stars. But aside from that, this one's awesome.

----------
El Vampiro
----------
You'll know somebody has activated this one because of the music. The player
who has activated it will have a hat on their head and they suck stars out of
opponents they go near. The sucked-out stars will not go direcetly to you,
they must still be picked up.

--------------
Feeding Frenzy
--------------
Lots of stars will appear for you to collect. When this is activated, be
prepared for all opponents to come running to help you collect the stars.
Listen carefully when it's announced whether it was a Feeding Frenzy or a
Freeding Fenzy (described below).

--------------
Freeding Fenzy
--------------
This is just like Feeding Frenzy, except that all the stars that pop out are
Starmines. Be careful to listen to what exactly is announced as they fall. If
it's a Freeding Fenzy, the Starmines will not explode for the character that
activated the Freeding Fenzy, just the other characters. If other characters
die because of your Freeding Frenzy, you get the kill (in Fragfest).

------------
Invisibility
------------
One of the more helpful ones is Invisibility. Nobody can see you or the weapon
you're holding. If you are holding the Trophy, it will still be visible, so
that's too bad. If you drop Starmines while invisible, they will be almost
invisible as well. Opponents can still see the Leaderbeam, if it's on you.

-------
On Fire
-------
One of the few bad things that can happen to you when getting a Question Mark,
is On Fire. You start on fire, and there's only two ways to get rid of it.
Either touch another player, passing the fire to them, or you could get in some
water (which is only available in Can Can or Jeffrey's Kitchen). If you can't
get rid of it in under a few seconds, you'll die.

----------
The Plague
----------
This one is one of the rarest. You start getting some kind of bubbles or
something above you and your stars will drop one at a time. If you get The
Plague, the only thing you can do is to try to spread it by touching other
players.

------
Vacuum
------
All stars within a small radius of yourself will be sucked up. Again, the
down-side is that the Vacuum sucks up Starmines as well.

**************************
11. BIG RED BUTTONS
**************************
My personal recommendation regarding Big Red Buttons is that you don't push
them when you're in first place. Three of the twelve different effects are
horrible for the leader. But, I still always push it, even when I'm leading
because of curiosity and the other 9 effects are pretty cool.

-----
Death
-----
The entire level gets almost pitch black. You have very little line of sight.
A skeleton hand will walk around the level killing anybody it comes in contact
with. It moves pretty fast, so if it's chasing you, don't look back behind you
to see if it's still following you, it will probably catch up to you in the
second you turn around. Try jumping around to avoid it.

--------------
Fish Eye Lense
--------------
This one kind of stretches the camera, giving it an elongated look. It appears
that you are moving faster than you really are and gauging your jumps could be
difficult. I'd recommend not jumping over gaps when the Fish Eye is on.

------
Magnet
------
A bad one for the leader. All of the players, aside from the leader, get 3
Plunger Missiles. And they are all going to track you down as long as the
magnet is floating above your head. If the magnet is above your head, don't
shoot off missiles of your own, or they'll come back and hit you.

---------
Minefield
---------
Tons and tons of Starmines drop from the sky. Not only that, but all the stars
that were already on the ground turn into Starmines. Touching any will cause
them to explode. It's much easier to just not move, but if you have to, move
very carefully. Also, a short time after the Starmines fall, they will just
all spontaneously explode and that can kill you, too, so watch out for that,
too.

-----------
Missilefest
-----------
Everybody gets three missiles. This is the only time during the game that you
can hold more than one missile. When this is pushed, I recommened that you
hide somewhere so none of the computer-controlled opponents can lock on to you
and save the missiles for a short time after everyone else has used theirs,
because nobody expects you to have them at that point.

---------
Play Ball
---------
Everyone gets a Stick of Reason. Try not to let anybody get behind you, and
keep swinging that bat over and over again.

-------
Screwed
-------
If Screwed occurs, all stars turn the color of the leader, so he can't collect
them. If all the stars turn your color, you can still hit your opponents and
make them drop stars of their own color.

-----------
Simmer Down
-----------
All weapons on the ground, in somebody's hand, or flying through the air will
disappear and there will be 10 or 15 seconds of a fist fight. You can only
attack by squashing an opponent or knocking them off an edge.

----
Swap
----
Now this one is fun. For 10 seconds you control an opponent. Sure, you could
collect stars for them, but that wouldn't do you any good. Take him and leap
off the nearest edge. Try to get him killed at least twice in the 10 seconds.
Of course, there is one other thing you can do during Swap. If you now control
a computer player that is on an easy difficulty that makes them a non-threat to
you, I recommend using their character to attack your biggest threat when he is
being controlled by an easy computer. Since that isn't very clearly worded,
here's an example: if I'm playing Lucky and brother is playing Toof and the
Swap gives me control of Lance, who is a computer on Very Easy, I would attack
Toof with Lance. Toof would be just wandering around like a Very Easy computer
because my brother would have Swapped with either Lucky (me) or the other
computer player.
But, if the computer players were on Whacked difficulty, then they are a
threat and I would just proceed to drop them off an edge two or three times.

---------------
Upside-Down Cam
---------------
This one sure makes it interesting. The camera flips upside-down, so when you
try to go left, you actually go right, and vice versa. Forward is still
forward and back is still backward. Jumping over gaps becomes pretty
difficult, so I wouldn't recommend it. It's okay to keep running around in
levels like Can Can, Car Crash, Club Bano, etc that don't have lots of places
to fall off of and die, but I'd avoid too much fast movement in Hell,
Spacewalk, and Highrise.

---------
You're It
---------
This is one of the terrible ones for the leader. Whoever is in first place
will get an arrow above them and they will lose lots of extra stars when hit.
If you're It, I'd try to keep moving as fast as you possibly can and jump
around a lot to reduce the number of hits you take.

------------
Zombie Stars
------------
This one is kind of weird. The sky turns green and a bunch of living Zombie
Stars will come after you. You can hit them with weapons, or just avoid them.
If you hit the Zombie stars with a weapon, they'll turn into a real star.

12. EXCLAMATION POINTS
**************************
Getting an exclamation point is the best thing you can do for yourself in the
game. Grab it all costs. Below I have listed each character's exclamation
point powers and how to use them well. Here's a general tip, though: if
somebody else has the exclamation point and they are close to winning and they
are about to kill you, commit suicide. Just jump off an edge. It'll keep them
from getting your stars.

-----
Lucky
-----
Turns into a tornado and sucks up all the stars within a large radius of
himself. He can also suck up opponents and send them flying, costing them lots
of stars.

If you're Lucky: Run around quickly, but be careful not to fall off an edge
or something. It's safer not to suck up opponents, but if there aren't very
many stars, go for it.

If you're Lucky's opponent: Avoid him at all costs. Try to fire Missiles,
Good-Bye Doggies, or any other range weapon at him. If he sucks you up, try to
use your weapon while you're spinning around him, you might get a lucky hit.

------
Eugene
------
Starts flying around and whacks opponents with his spinning hat.

If you're Eugene: You have no other option than to try to hit your opponents.
You have the speed advantage, but it's a little more difficult to control
yourself. Especially go for unarmed opponents.

If you're Euguen's opponent: Just hide. Keep a good weapon nearby in case he
comes along. If he comes try to hit him with a range weapon, and keep moving
erratically and jump a lot.

----
Toof
----
Puts on a chef's hat and all opponents become hamburgers. Toof can then chase
down these slow moving hamburgers and knock out a lot of stars from threm.

If you're Toof: Again, no choice but to go after opponents. The hamburgers
can't move fast, so try to chase them quickly. Don't waste too much time on
trying to get a certain hamburger because Toof's exclamation point doesn't last
that long.

If you're Toof's opponent: If Toof comes along, here's the trick. Keep
jumping! Jump around in weird, unexpected ways to throw him off.

----
Lucy
----
The Kiss of Death. She can run up to opponents and the Kiss of Death will send
them flying.

If you're Lucy: Like most characters, you'll have to go after your
opponents. Hit them and they'll drop lots of stars.

If you're Lucy's opponent: Send range weapons her way. It's the only
option, aside from running away, of course.

-----
Lance
-----
All characters besides Lance wear purple hats. Hit them and they'll drop lots
of stars.

If you're Lance: Again, try to hit your opponents. You can do it yourself,
or use a weapon. Either way, they'll lose a lot of stars.

If you're Lance's opponent: Projectiles, projectiles, projectiles. It's
pretty much the only useful weapon set during exclamation points.  And run;
keep on the move.

-------
Charity
-------
Tons of yellow stars with green dots on them appear and only Charity can
collect them. For everyone else, they act as Starmines.

If you're Charity: I wouldn't waste much time trying to get opponents,
because they don't seem to die any easier or drop much extra stars. Just
collect the yellow and green stars that fell.

If you're Charity's opponent: I'd just hold pretty much still. If you must
move, move very carefully. You can try to hit Charity with a projectile if she
coms near.

----
Otto
----
Starts using Z's as weapons, as they shoot out of his body when close to an
opponent. The Z's wil knock out lots of stars.

If you're Otto: You're going to have to run up next to opponents. This is
why Otto's exclamation point isn't very good.

If you're Otto's opponent: Just stay away from him. Keep on the move and
use projectiles.

---
Van
---
Two of Van's minions will appear to help him.

If you're Van: I'd just keep collecting stars. Let your minions do your
dirty work for you. They'll go after your opponents and knock stars out of
them.

If you're Van's opponent: Van will drop more stars than his minions when
killed, so go for Van instead. Of course, try to kill the minions if they
bother you.

-------------------------
EXCLAMATION POINT RANKING
-------------------------
This part was pretty difficult to decide. I ranked everyone's special powers
from best to worst and gave the reasons why I think it is so. You may have a
different opinion, and if you do, e-mail me and let me know why.

1. LUCKY
Lucky gets the #1 spot, hands down. If you get his exclamation point powers,
you can aquire a least 100 stars and can take out opponents while doing it.
There is a weakness, however. He is still suseptible to range weapons and even
the bat. When I had this exclamation point, I have still been hit by Missiles,
and I have been hit once by a Stick of Reason by my brother as I sucked him up.
But Lucky is still a notch or two above the rest.

2. TOOF
I gave Toof the second spot. Here's my reasoning for this. When Toof has
his exclamation point, the other characters can't carry weapons. It is still
somewhat difficult to collect stars, especially if your opponents are skilled,
but practically impossible for you to die. My brother once played as Toof and
got killed by a computer hamburger on Whacked difficulty. He was knocked off
the edge in Hell.

3. CHARITY
Charity is on the same tier as Toof, but I gave Toof the edge because his
opponents can't carry weapons. Charity can be killed by opponents, but you can
easily collect 50 or 60 stars while you have time.

4. VAN
I gave Van the fourth spot, but he's another level down from Toof and
Charity. The only reason he has the advantage over the rest is because he has
some helpers, it's not just him.

These last four have exclamation points that don't give them very many extra
stars and can all still easily be killed. I won't even talk about them
individually here because they're practically the same.
If you are one of these characters and get an exclamation point, try to run up
and kill opponents as fast as possible. If you're playing against these guys
with exclamation points, send projectiles their way.
5. LANCE
6. LUCY
7. EUGENE
8. OTTO

14.2. CHEAT CODES
--------------------------
Enter these cheat codes as a profile name in Gameshow Mode to unlock the cheat.
It is kind of fun to use the FOODFIGHT one and play as food products, but
unlocking all levels, movies, weapons, and characters is so easy, just do it
the regular way.
AROUNDDAWORLD	All Levels, Movies, and Weapons
FOODFIGHT All Characters and Food Products
TIMEFORCHAOS All weapons and movies
UBERHUNGARIAN Uber Mode (400 stars)
DOUBLEDOUBLE All Characters and Movies

Okay, the UBERHUNGARIAN cheat is different than the rest. You have to enter
the cheatcode then you have to follow these steps:
1) Go to Battle Mode
2) Select your characters
3) Select any level
4) Select Combat and 200 stars
5) Press the White Button
6) You should now have to get 400 stars to win

--------------------------
14.3. SECRETS
--------------------------
Audition Video Clips (let game idle for a minute on Main Menu)

Toof - Eats a cannonball; picked because of talent (has an appetite for
destruction)

Lucy - Gets dressed, then clothes burst

Lance - Flexes and lifts weights, producer tries to get rid of him

Charity - Starts gathering stuff and tries to break through the prize door

Otto - Just sleeps on his chair, but gets knocked around all over the place

Lucky - Shoots a chicken, tries to get his feet back from the producer;
picked because of rage

Eugene - Producer asks if he can use weapons of mass destruction, Eugene
isn't sure, so they fire a bunch of missiles at him. Picked because he
survived the missiles.

--------------------------
14.4. MINI-GAMES
--------------------------
There are some "mini-games" you can play if you get bored of playing Whacked!
the normal way. I have thought of two, and will list them here, but if you
know of any others, send me an e-mail.

GAME MODE LEVEL WEAPONS	OBJECTIVE
Zero Stars Combat Any Any Lose all your stars. First to zero wins.

Bat Cave Combat Can Can Batter Up Take your bats into the small room and
smash each other.

Block Party	Dodgeball Artic Pipeline	Dodgeball Only fight inside the hole in
the middle.

--------------------------
14.5. POLL
--------------------------
I just want to see what everyone's opinion is on different things about the
game. E-mail me your answers to the poll questions at
[email protected]. I'll post the newest results as well, every now
and then.

1) What character do you usually play as?
2) What is your favorite level? How about least favorite level?
3) What is your favorite weapon and why?
4) What is the worst weapon in the game?
5) What is your favorite Big Red Button/Question Mark?
6) Can you think of any other "mini-games"?

15. CONCLUSION
**************************
You now have all the knowledge you need. Now you just need to apply it. So,
practice, practice, practice, and maybe someday, you'll be able to compete with
me and my brother. But probably not.
