Getting Started [TRD2GS]

To get the game underway, press start at the first menu to enter the game.
Press X on new and press X on any of the numbers to create a new file.
Enter a name within 24 characters including spaces. Select your drivers
nationality and your nationality. When you have selected all these parameters,
Select done. Then Select you options.

To change the screen, press the Left, Right, Up and Down buttons until you are
happy with the position of the screen. Then press X to confirm.

Change the Effects, Engine and Speech with left and right buttons to your

Bonus - Read unlocking information for your bonus code. In this section you can

Press begin when you've finished. Your first race is in the Ford GT Sunshine

you can but if you don't want to do it, just crash into a wall. There will be a
cut scene saying what you have to do but I think you can skip them by pressing

Simulation Mode [TRD2SM]

Free Race:-
Have a race from the championships that you have unlocked in the game. The way
to unlock the championship is to have reached that point in the game. It has 3
difficulty levels, Normal, Hard and Custom where you can select your own
difficulty level. You can select which track you want from that championship,
the car, how many laps you want, pit stops, Qualifying and whether you want to
change the cars set-up or not. To unlock all of the cars in the championship,
choose Normal or Hard difficulty levels, select all the races and win all of
them and then all the cars in the championship will be unlocked.
Time-Trial:-
Have a session on a track and championship that you have unlocked and you can
also create a ghost car for future time-trials. The fastest time you set in
your session will be recorded in Time-Trial Records.
Multi-Player:-
Race up to eight friends in a race that you have unlocked (more than 2 players
need a multi-tap).
Network:-
If you have the network function on your Playstation 2, race players from all
around the world over the internet.
Time-Trial Records:-
View you best times from Time-Trial Mode.
Load Replay:-
Load a replay of a race that you have saved to your memory card.

These cars are tricky to drive and wheelspin a lot causing you to spin. If you
do spin, reverse back on to the track and try and block the rest of the cars to
keep your position. To not spin, gently accelerate away so that it doesn't
wheelspin.

I would do the oval series because it's easier but the other series can help
you later in the game. The super trucks are harder to drive and are very slow
so it'll be better to do that to help you.

You haven't got the best car but you can win by getting round the corners well
as your car handles well and over a lap you should be faster than the other
cars over the lap. I recommend you practice in Free Race mode before this
championship so that you know you are ready.

This should be easy when you get the hang of it. The Zandvoort race is easy
and the EuroSpeedway race should be easy enough. Don't forget to pit at
Zandvoort otherwise you will be disqualified and get 0 points and thats
probably the easiest way to lose in that race.

I would go for the Rallycross series because it's much easier than the trucks
and is less time consuming. The trucks can help you later in the game but I

These cars handle differently than they do on rally so they need time to get
used to on tarmac. They don't have much sterring lock so you have to go a bit
slower in the tight corners to get round. You should still be able to win
comfortably but take it carefully so you can be sure of winning.

Championship Objective: Beat at least 1 shark team driver.
You can at least beat 1 of the drivers that you have to beat in this
championship because 1 of them is a bit slow. You know which drivers you have
to beat because their names are above their cars.You should be able to win this
easily. The Norisring race is the only race that is a little bit hard. You
have to pit on the lap before the last lap and if you were fast enough you
should have the lead. If you come out and the others are way faster down the
straight, just block them and make them ram your back bumper and then you
should win. The Audi car is the best car in the championship because it has
shorter breaking distances and handles better.

Championship Objective: Beat Stomper in a Head-2-Head.
This is easy. Just go forward and don't look back. Don't do any silly mistakes
and don't hit the wall too much and you'll win easily.

Tips [TRD2TP]
-------------
One tip I would say is, use a PS1 Controller with analog feature because with
the PS2 dual stock controller the accelaration is how much you press the button
and most of the time you don't get any accelaration but with the PS1 controller
you get full accelaration reguardless of how much you press the button.
Another tip to succeed is to practise with the car if you cannot get though.
If you are stuck, have a few laps with the car with a track that is in the
series. After you have done that, you should succeed. If you don't, try a free
race where you can practise against other drivers to see where you need to
improve. When you feel confident enough that you can win, do the championship
and see if you can.

FAQ's [TRD2FA]

Q: Are there any endurance events? (From my Dad)
A: No but you can make some up using the free race mode. If you want a real
endurance race the Bathurst 1000 and Sandown 500 are in the V8 Supercar races.
The longest endurance races in the game are in the Supercar Cup where if you
put it up to full distance lasts 250+ laps! You can't save it though.
Q: What are bonus codes? (From
A: A code that can be obtained from the Unlocking Information section in
options. If you have the right code you can unlock cars and tracks etc but
you will need the code to unlock it. The codes can be found on most cheat
websites.
