Intro II. Version History III. Enemies IV. Bosses V. Weapons/Enemy chart VI. Copyrights *********************************************************************** I. Intro Welcome to my Enemy/Boss FAQ for Serious Sam for the Xbox, the main goal for this FAQ is to create a basic guide on how to tackle the numerous and diverse enemies that'll oppose you throughout this awesome game. Please keep in mind that most of these strategies involve the NORMAL difficulty setting of the game, but I'm sure this guide will still be very useful on any difficulty setting. *********************************************************************** II. Version History *Version 1.00 4/20/05 I collected a good amount of info after beating the game twice, more than enough for this guide *Version 1.10 8/21/05 I received a nice tip from a nice user in an E-Mail about the Scythian Witch Harpy, and fixed some typos. *********************************************************************** III. Enemies 1) Beheaded Rocketeer Endurance: Very Low Hostility: Very Low Weapons: Missile Launcher Threat: Very Low First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 1(Hatshepsut) These grunts are basically some of the enemies that'll attack you through out the game, although they attack in groups, they are very weak, and easily disposed off after 1-2 shots from the pistols. Their only weapon is a Missile Launcher which shoots energy shots, those can be easily dodged, and they do minor damage. Not a serious enemy, but the worst is yet to come. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) Gnaar Endurance: Low Hostility: Low Weapons: Tooth and Claw Threat: Low First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 1(Hatshepsut) This enemy you'll encounter frequently in the game, they are strictly melee fighters since they don't have any range attacks at all. Non- Threatening by itself, but in numbers I suggest using the Shotgun to get rid of them, one shot is all you need to put them in their place. There are some Gnaars that can actually levitate, and turn mostly invisible. This species comes in two different genders, the females are larger, green, and tougher than regular males, females can endure two Shotgun blasts before they die. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3) Beheaded Firecracker Endurance: Very Low Hostility: Very Low Weapons: Missile Launcher Threat: Low First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 1(Hatshepsut) Exactly like the Beheaded Rocketeer, but the Firecrackers can fire up to 5 energy rockets in succession. Unlike the Rocketeer, the Firecracker's energy rockets can actually travel on the ground instead of flying towards you, so make sure you keep an eye on them so you don't get sucker punched. On a very interesting note these guys are immune to their own attacks, so don't waste your time trying to get them to kill each other, instead pull out your Shotgun to make fertilizer out of them. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 4) Beheaded Bomber Endurance: Very Low Hostility: Low Weapons: Hand Grenades Threat: Low to Medium First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 1(Hatshepsut) These guys specialize in throwing grenades with good accuracy at you when you are spotted from far away, the damage from these grenades is moderate, but more than one Bomber is enough to critically damage you, and it can prove quite lethal if you don't dispose of the right away. But you can dodge their grenades with ease before they hit you, and quickly counter with the Shotgun, once you do kill them, stay away from their corpses, they'll explode 3 seconds later after death. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 5) Kleer Skeleton Endurance: Low Hostility: Medium to High Weapons: Two ball projectiles, and claws Threat: Medium to High First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 1(Hatshepsut) This undead skeleton has two different attacks, first if they spot you from far away they fire some type of two ball projectile which you can dodge with ease, and if they get close to you they'll attempt to slash your pretty face with their claws. By itself this skeleton is easily disposed off, they usually appear when you pick up special items, or whenever you enter large rooms they'll materialize out of nowhere, and they'll begin their assault. Normally your Double Barreled Shotgun is all you need if you're facing maybe 3 of them at once, but when they do appear in stampedes (Seriously) you'll need something better like the Thompson gun, Minigun, or the Rocket Launcher. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 6) Beheaded Kamikaze Endurance: Low Hostility: Extreme Weapons: Bombs for suicidal attack Threat: High to Very High First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 2(Sand Canyon) Because of the very suicidal behavior of this enemy, the Beheaded Kamikazes are indeed the most feared enemies in the entire game, all they can do are run as fast as they can toward you, and use the bombs they are holding to blow themselves to oblivion while taking you with them if you're within their blast radius. Mercifully due to their low endurance even the pistol is good enough to take them out before they get within range, but because you'll often fight more than one of them at once I recommend using the Shotgun to take them out. Since their corpses explode immediately after death try to kill them if they are huddled together so you can kill more than one of them to save ammo, and if there are different enemies next to the Kamikaze, then shoot it first so the explosion can kill, or severely damage nearby enemies. Unfortunately, this enemy will appear in every level in the game, but you can easily spot them. Even though they have no head, they actually scream very loudly, when you do hear someone screaming then take a quick look of your surroundings, a group of Kamikazes are in the area. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 7) Marsh Hopper Endurance: Very Low Hostility: Medium Weapons: Toxic Slime Threat: Low to Medium First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 2(Sand Canyon) Very similar to the Beheaded Kamikaze, but less dangerous. These frog like creatures can also suicide when they get close to you by spraying some type of toxic slime from their bodies if they get close to you. These Hoppers are easily disposed off with one blast from the Shotgun, and I do recommend using that weapon since these enemies often attack in swarms, the spread damage from the Shotgun is useful in killing more than one of these little fiends. Not a serious enemy, but try not to get cocky. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 8) Sirian Werebull Endurance: Low Hostility: Medium to High Weapons: Running Charges Threat: Medium First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 2(Sand Canyon) This Werebull loves to run straight at their prey, and ram them as hard as they can. By itself this creature is easily disposed off with the Shotgun, if they get close to you, sidestep out of the way while firing your weapon, 2-3 Shotgun Blast should drop them, but if you're facing more than 3 of them, then use the Thompson gun for best results. In rare situations these Werebulls can attack in stampedes, so using the Minigun will be highly recommended. 9) Bio-Mechanoid (Minor) Endurance: Medium Hostility: High Weapons: Pulse Rifles Threat: Medium to High First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 2(Sand Canyon) Another quick, and dangerous opponent to worry about. These minor Bio Mechanoids will hurt you badly with their pulse rifles as they fire those lasers in quick rapid shots, this is where your sidestepping skills will be tested if you want to survive. If you're in medium range of their positions then pull out the Shotgun and fire while you're moving out of the way, 2-3 Shotgun blasts should be enough, but using the Thompson gun is a much better move if you encounter these guys far away as the Shotgun loses its accuracy at long range. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 10) Levitating Gnaar Endurance: Low Hostility: Low Weapons: Teeth Threat: Low First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 3(Tomb of Ramses III) These enemies can actually levitate with ease, and you can even tell the difference from normal Gnaars by looking at them. The ones that can levitate have no arms, and no legs, but that doesn't mean they are completely defenseless. If levitating Gnaars get close to you they'll start biting you with such ferocity, but other than that they're mostly behave like other Gnaars, the Shotgun, and the Double Barreled Shotgun are still the best weapons when dealing with these pesky Gnaars, you can also use the Thompson Gun if these levitating Gnaars attack in swarms. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 11) Arachnoid(Juvenile) Endurance: Medium Hostility: High Weapons: Chaingun, and Tail Swipe Threat: High First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 3(Tomb of Ramses III) These unforgiving young arthropods can use their Chainguns with great accuracy to shred you to ribbons if you aren't careful. You should definitely hide behind a wall, or column to evade their wrath. Since this enemy is hell bent on destroying you they really don't mind killing their own friends in the process, you can try and use any foes around, and use them as meat shields while saving yourself, you can save ammo that way. Because you really don't want to get close to them, I advice using the Thompson gun to get rid of them, both Shotgun weapons aren't good since you always encounter these Arachnoids at long range. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 12) Arachnoid(Adult) Endurance: High Hostility: Very High Weapons: Chaingun, and Tail Swipe Threat: High First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 3(Tomb of Ramses III) These are the Adults of the arthropod enemies, they are bigger, and a lot fiercer than their younger brethren. Like the Juveniles, these Adults can also use the Chaingun as one of their main weapons, they can also use their tails to perform a melee attack, but you shouldn't get close to them, anyway. Same rules you used against the Juveniles will work with these Adults, the Thompson gun is still the best weapons to use from far away, but since sometimes these adults teleport close to you, try to use the Double Barreled Shotgun to inflict heavy damage to them, and watch out for their tail swipes if that happens. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 13 Bio-Mechanoid(Major) Endurance: High Hostility: High Weapons: Rocket Launchers Threat: Very High First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 4(Valley of Kings) Exactly like their Minor versions, but these Majors are bigger, and more threatening all thanks to their mounted Rocket Launchers, this enemy is indeed a walking nightmare that should be wiped out A.S.A.P. Their rockets will critically damage you quite if they connect you head on unless you move out of the way, and even the blats radius from the Rocket explosions will damage you as you sidestep to safety, try to hide behind a wall, or a nearby column, or anything to protect yourself. The best logical weapon to use against them is the Thompson gun, you can even use the Minigun to finish them very quickly, your own Rocket Launcher can also do the job just fine. Good thing this enemy isn't too common, but never let your guard down, these enemies appear when you least expect them. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 14) Alundran Reptiloid Endurance: Medium Hostility: High Weapons: Homing Fireballs, and Slash Attack Threat: Medium First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 4(Valley of Kings) This four armed humanoid has the ability to launch homing fireballs, those aren't too damaging, but these fireballs are a little tricky than you think. You can't use any walls or columns to hide yourself, those fireballs can actually go around those objects and they'll hit you unless you destroy them your self with your weapon of choice, or let them extinguish themselves since they can't follow you forever. Another problem is when you enter large areas these Reptiloids are sometimes stationed around strategic points, for example they could be on top of a building, or pillar, and they'll begin to fire their homing fireballs while you're preoccupied with other enemies, always look at your surroundings, and if you do spot a green fireball following you around, then an Alundran Reptiloid is most likely playing sniper. It is very uncommon to see these retiles face to face, and if you do then watch out for their slash attack, with their four arms they can easily kill you if you get face to face with them. The Double Barreled Shotgun is prefect when they get close to you, otherwise use the Thompson gun, or even the Rocket Launcher if they are playing sniper. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 15) Scythian Witch-Harpy Endurance: Medium Hostility: Medium Weapons: Energy Projectiles, and Claw attack Threat: Low First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 5(Oasis) This small winged creature that kind of looks like a midget wearing bikinis always come in packs, and they can fire their projectiles from far away as soon as they spot you from mid-air. Those projectiles don't give you too much damage, and you can easily sidestep out of the way. Sometimes they can appear with other groups of monsters, so it might be a little tricky dealing with land creatures, and these Witch Harpies at the same time, or you could encounter these aerial pests in swarms which could be bad if you don't take them seriously. These harpies are fast fliers too, they'll definitely get really close to you, and if that happens you'll get slashed in the face. Quite hardy as well, for something so small you'll need 5-7 pistol shots to kill one, but of course since you'll always face more than 5 of them you should definitely use the Shotgun if they're in mid-range, or the Double Barreled Shotgun if they get close to you, or even better: Use the Thompson gun, or the Minigun to attack them from far away. ***UPDATE*** I was told the Scythian Witch-Harpy also makes an appearance in the first level. (Hatshepsut) Many will spawn if you destroy a special tree where the secret Mega Health and additional Rockets are at. Destroy the tree with rockets or the chainsaw to spawn them Update has been contributed by Cacoenchanter DOOM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 16) Reeban Electro-Fish Endurance: Low Hostility: High Weapons: Electric Discharges Threat: Medium to High First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 8(Sewers) Don't underestimate these fish, they have the ability of launching powerful electric discharges that not also will they push you back a few feet, but they'll also deal plenty of pain if you aren't careful. This is the only aquatic threat you'll deal in the game, and sometimes they can appear in dark waters where they can be hard to see, but they are noisy, use that to your advantage. The Shotgun, and Double Barreled Shotgun are the best weapons for this overgrown tuna. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 17) Lava Golem Endurance: Medium Hostility: Medium Weapons: Fireballs Threat: Medium First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 9(Metropolis) This pile of inanimate molten lava may be super slow when moving around, but those fireballs they throw aren't, since they'll throw them in a straight line you should be able to dodge them out of the way. Usually if you kill a big Lava Golem it may split in 2 small lesser lava golems. All you need is the Double Barreled Shotgun if they materialize close to you, or the Rocket Launcher to get rid of them from far away. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 18) Semi-Invisible Gnaar Endurance: Low Hostility: Low Weapons: Tooth and Claw Threat: Low First Appearance: Episode 2, Level 5(Luxor) If you even ever seen something moving in the background that looks to be quite camouflaged, then chances are it's a semi-invisible Gnaar, once you see it you should be able to see a difference, other than that it behaves like any other Gnaar, the Shotgun, and the Double-Barreled Shotgun are still your best weapons when dealing with Gnaars. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 19) Zumb'ul Endurance: Medium Hostility: Medium Weapons: Plasma Guns Threat: Medium First Appearance: Episode 3, Level 1(Sierra de Chiapes) These brutes will carry a pair of Plasma Guns, and they'll fire rapid dual blasts which can be easily dodge out of the way, normally you can go around this foe preventing him from firing his weapons, since this enemy isn't very common you don't have to worry about him too much, you can use the Double Barreled Shotgun to kill them quickly. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 20) Cucurbito the Pumpkin Endurance: Low Hostility: Medium Weapons: Chainsaw Threat: Medium First Appearance: Episode 3, Level 2 (Catacombs) Wow! This enemy does have a pumpkin for a head. Anyway, all this foe does is run straight at you, and use their only weapon which considers one big nasty looking chainsaw, their chainsaw attacks can actually damage you quite good. Since all they have is a melee weapon you should easily kill them with the Shotgun, or the Double Barreled Shotgun, as soon as they get close to you fire your weapon and sidestep out of the way to avoid their attacks otherwise you'll be surprised how quickly they can outright kill you. You can also try using the Flamethrower for best results. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 21) Fiendian Reptiloid Demon Endurance: Medium Hostility: High Weapons: Homing Fireballs, and Claws Threat: Medium First Appearance: Episode 3, Level 3(Valley of the Jaguar) This reddish winged monster has the ability to fire homing fireballs just like the Alundran Reptiloids, but the ones from the Fiendian are extremely fast, and they can't be destroyed by your weapons, all you can do is sidestep out of the way, and let them expire on their own. Never get close to these fiends, otherwise their slash attacks will make short work of you, instead use the Rocket Launcher to dispose of the Fiendians from far away, you can also use the Sniper Rifle to kill them from a long distance before they launch another indestructible homing fireball. Mercifully these beasts are a bit rare. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 22) Zorg Mercenary Endurance: Low Hostility: low Weapons: Burst Laser guns Threat: Low First Appearance: Episode 3, Level 4(City of the Gods) These enemies are similar to those Beheaded Rocketeers: Weak, and easily destroyed even in groups. The Zorg's laser attacks are at least slightly faster than the energy rockets from the Rocketeers' weapons. Just sidestep out of the way, and use either Shotgun weapon to finish them off. On an interesting note as soon as these Zorg Mercenaries start to appear the Beheaded Rocketeer will appear less frequently. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 23) Zorg Commander Endurance: Low Hostility: Low Weapons: Burst Laser guns Threat: Low First Appearance: Episode 3, Level 6(Serpent Yards) Exactly like the Zorg Mercenaries, but these Commanders behave like the Beheaded Firecrackers. These guys can fire their burst lasers in quick successions which can travel on the ground instead of flying towards you, so keep your eyes peeled so you don't get blind sided by enemy fire. Either Shotgun is fine to deal with these Commanders. It seems the Beheaded Firecracker will begin to appear less frequently as soon as you start fighting Zorg Commanders. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 24) Static Cannon Endurance: Medium Hostility: High Weapons: Cannonballs Threat: High First Appearance: Episode 5, Level 1(The Bridge) This is pretty much a stationary cannon which will begin to launch cannonballs from far away, the cannonballs themselves deal plenty of damage, and should be avoided as best as you can with constant moving, and sidestepping. Try to use the Rocket Launcher, or the Laser gun to destroy these things before they destroy you. *********************************************************************** IV. Bosses 1) Alundran Reptiloid Highlander Endurance: High Hostility: Very High Weapons: Fast moving non-seeking fireballs Threat: Very High First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 4(Valley of the Kings) This big boy you'll encounter in the middle of the level isn't really threatening despite of his size, and for as long as you keep moving you shouldn't have any difficulty defeating him. This Highlander is similar to the lesser Alundran Reptiloids, it can also launch fireballs, but the ones from the Highlander don't have homing properties, instead they fly at insane speeds, and they can't be destroyed at all. You have to dodge them as best as you can, and use the Rocket Launcher to start hurting him. As the Highlander's health gets lower, and lower it will begin to launch up to 5 Fireballs in succession, if you get smacked by 5 fireballs at once you'll no doubt die, so you must dodge them, and keep firing that Rocket Launcher to emerge victorious. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) Giant Lava Golem Endurance: Very High Hostility: Very High Weapons: Fireballs, and Ground Melee Attack Threat: Very High First Appearance: Episode 1, Level 9(Metropolis) This is the grand daddy of the lava golems, you'll fight this towering pile of inanimate molten lava near the end of the level in a huge arena, when you do fight it watch out for the big fireballs this boss will no doubt throw at you, you must either dodge them, or destroy them your self with the Rocket Launcher, try to stay far away from him, otherwise he'll pound you to the ground if you get close to him. As the boss's health gets lower, and lower he'll begin to spawn lesser Lava Golems to harass you, try to use the Grenade Launcher to kill them quickly before you deal with the boss to make your life a lot easier. Since you'll run out of Rockets, and even Grenades try using the Minigun, and the Laser Gun as back up weapons to get rid of the Giant Lava Golem, and any other offspring he has created. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3) UGN-Zan III Endurance: Extremely High Hostility: Very high Weapons: Homing Fireballs, Thermal Bombs, Rocket Launcher, Pulse Rifle Threat: Extremely High First Appearance: Episode 2, Level 6(Great Pyramid) Finally your first true challenge, you'll fight this massive boss in the middle of the level, because UGN-Zan has the ability to restore his own health you'll have to find an alternative way to defeat him. When you first spot him all you can do for now is run straight ahead to the Great Pyramid while killing any enemies you'll bump in the way while UGN-Zan is hot on your trail. Once you do get to the entrance you'll notice the door is locked at the moment, so far now you'll have to fight UGN-Zan for a little bit, this giant behemoth will start by firing his pulse rifle, he can also spit homing fireballs which you can destroy your self with any weapon, and you'll have to have to watch out for the lava rocks he can fire. As soon as you give him some damage with the Rocket Launcher, the entrance door to the Great Pyramid will finally open, and you must quickly go inside. After the cinematic you'll then appear at the top of the Pyramid where you'll be in a special arena for you, and your playmate. Now you'll notice UGN-Zan will now be carrying a Rocket Launcher of his own which he'll be more happy to use it on you, and he still has his regenerating ability. Now first you'll notice within the arena there are at slopes in each corner, now go to any slope, not also will you find either a massive health pick up, or a backpack (They vary), but more importantly as soon as you step on one of those slopes you'll be flying a short distance, when you do you'll notice there's some type of Ring floating in mid-air, make sure you try to go through it whenever you go airborne, repeat the process for the other 3 rings inside the arena. Once that's done you'll notice a giant beam of light hitting UGN-Zan, but the first shot won't kill him, and he'll star regenerating 25% of his own health, so here's what you go to do: Try to lower UGN-Zan's health, and make sure his health bar is at least almost to the Red Zone. Now try to hit those Rings again, and once you do that again another giant beam of light attack UGN-Zan, now take out your Minigun and use it to speed the death of UGN-Zan, don't try to use the Rocket Launcher, or even the Laser Gun, the firing rate of both weapons are slow for this battle. Once UGN-Zan has fallen you'll finish Episode 2. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 4) Kulkulkan Endurance: Very High Hostility: High Weapons: Twisters Threat: Medium to High First Appearance: Episode 3, Level 7(The Pit) This boss isn't as challenging, or complicated as UGN-Zan was, but the Mayan Wind God can still send you to the grave if you don't take him seriously. Kulkulkan has the ability to create twisters which can't be destroyed by your weapons. Those twisters can easily send you flying sky high, and they can actually shield Kulkulkan from your own weapons so don't fire blindly hoping to hit him when twisters are around otherwise your attacks will be repelled, just wait for an opening and fire, and since only the Rocket Launcher, Grenade launcher, Laser Gun, and the Cannonball Launcher can harm him, weapons that can fire bullets like the Shotgun are useless since Kulkulkan is highly resistant to bullets. And if that wasn't bad enough enemies will begin to teleport out of nowhere to harass you, from Sirian Werebulls, to Bio-Mechanoids. Deal with them by using the Minigun, and save the explosive weapons for Kulkulkan. Ammunition is kind of limited in this arena, so make sure every shot counts. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 5) Exotech Larva Endurance: Very High Hostility: High Weapons: Plasma Cannons, Energy Orbs, Larva Spawning Threat: Very High First Appearance: Episode 4, Level 7(Tower of Babel) The Arena where you'll fight Exotech is filled with plenty of columns where you can mercifully shield yourself from Exotech's nasty arsenal of weaponry which includes Energy Orbs fired from his antennas, small aggressive larvas this monster can spawn, and his unforgiving Plasma Cannons. Another thing to worry about are the machines around the arena, they are actually generators which will heal Exotech whenever his health bar is low. You must go and destroy them with the Rocket Launcher to nullify this healing factor, there are at least 4 of them around the arena (Check the walls), and each will require 5 rockets to destroy them. Once they are destroyed Exotech will no longer heal himself. Be very careful when you do this for Exotech will no doubt try to sucker punch you with his Energy Orbs while you're destroying his healing machines. As Exotech's health gets lower, and lower he'll stop firing his energy Orbs, and he'll start using his Plasma Cannons, the laser fire from the Plasma Cannons will quickly fry you if you don't use the columns around you as protection, also keep an eye for the extra Larvas this boss will spawn, those are vicious suicidal little critters who will run quickly so they can ram into you if you don't kill them fast. The main weapons to use against this big bug are the Minigun, Laser Gun, and even the Rocket Launcher, just fire, and hide behind a nearby column until this boss is defeated. Ammo is available here just keep an eye for those Green Backpacks in this big arena if you're running low. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 6) Mordekai the Summoner Endurance: Very High Hostility: Very High Weapons: Teleportation, and the ability to summon different types of enemies Threat: Very High First Appearance: Episode 5, Level 6(The Grand Cathedral) This is the final boss in Serious Sam, Mordekai is a true menace who lives to his name, this guy has the ability to summon different types of enemies, when he has full health he'll begin to summon lesser enemies like Zorg Commanders, and Kleer Skeletons, but as his health begins to get low, and even lower Mordekai will then begin to summon additional threats like Bio-Mechanoid Majors, Alundran Reptiloids, Sirian Werebulls, Cucurbito the Pumpkins, and Fiendan Reptiloid Demons all which will begin to give you headaches as you try to deal with the final boss. Another thing to worry about is the Teleportation skills of Mordekai, he'll always teleport to another spot a few seconds after he summons enemies, so try to nail him with the Minigun before that happens, all other weapons are aren't good from far away, either Shotgun loses accuracy at long range unless Mordekai teleports near by, and when you fire a few rockets Mordekai will no doubt have teleported somewhere else before you hit him unless you're in Mid Range of his location. The Minigun is definitely useful against Mordekai from far away, and if you're in Mid range try using the Laser Gun too. In each corner of the courtyard you'll find Combat armors, backpacks full of ammo, and a mega health pick up during your fight with Mordekai, they'll come in handy, and they'll re-spawn too after a brief period of time if you are running low. After he's defeated sit back, and enjoy the ending, and from the looks of it a sequel is obviously in the making. *********************************************************************** V. Weapons/Enemy chart - Use the right weapons ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Basically this is a rundown on which weapons are suited when dealing a particular monster. These stats are based on which weapon takes down the enemy the fastest, plus conserving ammo in the process. Here are a few pointers: -When you have the regular Shotgun, or the Double Barreled Shotgun equipped keep in mind both weapons should only be used in closed range combat as the accuracy on both weapons decreases at long range. -When you have the Minigun equipped you're firing at long range, strangely enough the Minigun doesn't lose its accuracy that much at long range. -When you have either the Grenade Launcher or Rocket launcher equipped you must fire at long range, if you do fire at close range you might be blown to smithereens. -The Serious Bomb isn't listed here since it obviously kills anything in its blast radius in one mega explosion. ------------- Lesser Grunts ------------- 1) Beheaded Rocketeer - Pistol, Shotgun, Double Barreled Shotgun 2) Gnaar - Pistol, Shotgun, Double barreled Shotgun 3) Beheaded Firecracker - Pistol, Shotgun, Double Barreled Shotgun 4) Beheaded Bomber - Pistol, Shotgun, Double Barreled Shotgun 5) Kleer Skeleton - Double Barreled Shotgun, Thompson Gun, Minigun 6) Marsh Hopper - Double barreled Shotgun, Thompson Gun 7) Semi-Invisible Gnaar - Double Barreled Shotgun 8) Zumb'ul - Shotgun, Double Barreled Shotgun 9) Zorg Mercenary - Shotgun, Double Barreled Shotgun 10)Zorg Commander - Shotgun, Double Barreled Shotgun ------------- Greater Foes ------------- 1) Beheaded Kamikaze - Double Barreled Shotgun, Thompson Gun 2) Sirian Werebull - Double Barreled Shotgun, Thompson Gun 3) Bio-Mechanoid (Minor) - Thompson Gun, Minigun, Rocket launcher 4) Bio-Mechanoid (Major) - Minigun, Laser Gun, Rocket Launcher 5) Arachnoid (Juvenile) - Thompson Gun, Minigun, Grenade Launcher 6) Arachnoid (Adult) - Thompson Gun, Minigun, Grenade Launcher 7) Alundran Reptiloid - Thompson Gun, Minigun, Rocket launcher 8) Lava Golem - Double Barreled Shotgun, Minigun, Rocket launcher 9) Cucurbito the Pumpkin - Double Barreled Shotgun, Flamethrower 10)Fiendian Reptiloid Demon - Rocket Launcher, Sniper Rifle 11)Static Cannon - Minigun, Rocket Launcher ------- Flyers ------- 1) Levitating Gnaar - Double Barreled Shotgun, Thompson Gun 2) Scythian Witch-Harpy - Thompson Gun, Minigun --------------- Aquatic Threat --------------- 1) Reeban Electro-Fish - Shotgun, Double Barreled Shotgun ------- Bosses ------- 1) Alundran Reptiloid Highlander - Rocket Launcher 2) Giant Lava Golem - Rocket Launcher, Minigun, Laser Gun 3) UGN-Zan III - Minigun (Only when he gets hit with giant light beam) 4) Kulkulkan - Grenade Launcher, Rocket Launcher, Laser Gun, Cannonballs 5) Exotech Larva - Minigun, Laser Gun, Rocket Launcher 6) Mordekai the Summoner - Minigun, Laser Gun *********************************************************************** VI.
