Secret Level hints and tips for The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

When you get to Rivendale go up to Gloin who is sharpening an axe. Give him two crams. A light will apear above his head. Then give him a lembas after which he will say "Then I must help you.".

Now go in to see uncle Bilbo. Normaly the fire in Bilbo's room is not lit but now it is and there is a light above it. Go up to the fire and press the X button.

You will have a choise betwean Frodo, Gandalf, and Aragorn. You can go into the secret level as many times as you want with any of the characters. But you must do it all before leaving Bilbo's room since once you leave the room you can not go back in.

Make sure to save your game befor going in as Aragorn. For some reason it always glitches when I go in as him and I end up having to restart my Xbox. Also the two chests in Bilbo's room.

From one you will get a mushroom. From the other you will get either an ancient tomb or a bottle of spirit. These are for Gandalf. After leaving the room you can go to Gandalf and give it to him and he will say to you "Mellon" which is the secret word you use to open the gates of Moria.
