Well, first initiate the detective work. Ask the suspects their stories. The first answer: One of them (been too long so I don't remember who) is lying about the sun being in his eyes! The next question, I think, is their relationship to the dead man, right? Question them both on their stories, then talk to the droid. Ask about both men and their relationships. You'll find one--Handon?--is closer than he appears. Further questioning reveals he knows his wife was cheating on him! Enough of a motive, so report what you know. Next the weapon, correct? It was supposedly stolen from one man's house, but the droid comes up with no proof to that. Finally, the blood. It isn't the victim's--it's the one who runs, the one who got hurt on the side. Supposedly he's the one accused of murder--but they both did it! You need the proof, though, which is why you had to question the droid on both men's relationships to the dead man.
So here's the story: the runner, complete with NOT stolen blaster, came up to...Calder?...and shot him. The hunter, thinking the runner is the dead man, shoots and wounds. The Jedi happens upon them, and you come along. Good job.
I hope I helped, and if I missed anything, I'm terribly sorry--do save the game before trying this, just to make sure I didn't miss anything, and if I did, you can correct it.

You can do it.

When a person answers a question with "its been too long to remember" or "I think" while also asking if they are correct, just ignore the fool and find a real answer elsewhere.
