Question for Halo: Combat Evolved

Can you destory Covenant Dropships? How many hits would it take with each weapon if so? Were would be the best spot to hit it, and were would that spot be on the Dropship?

I don't think you can kill the ships. I have tried to with every weapon and in most of the spots.

You can't I've tried with a rocket launcher and nothing happened but you can destoy the covenant why they try to get out.

In Halo 1, you can't destroy any of the dropships. They just are indestructible in this game. You can destroy them in Halo 3 fairly easily though.
