Is there a way to have infinite health or ammo?My freind and I tried names to guns.

No there is not, there are literally no cheat codes for Halo.
Either of the halos and the halos are better without cheats
Sorry there aren't any but there are glitches that many will love to name. One of them is flying,flying tank etc. Just ask to find them.
The cheat is:
B, X, Y, A(3), B, X, Y(3), B(2), Y y Start at the main menu.
You already have infinet shield, If it gose low all you have to do is hide for a sec and it goes back up. And as for the ammo, you have all these guns on the floor from the aliens you killed. So basicly there is no need for cheats for any of the halos.

There is no way to get infinite ammo in this game. All ammo will deplete eventually. Just learn to make good use of different weapons.
In the original version of Combat Evolved, there is no infinite health or ammo without modding.
In Combat Evolved Anniversary, you can find a skull called Bandana that gives you infinite ammo and grenades. You can just search Google if you want to know how to get it.
Not unlimited ammo, BUT you can level up with these codes. (if you have halo waypoint). Click on the link below. Also you will need to complete some stuff but the video will tell you what you will need.

Actually my cousin came over with his memory unit to have his file on my Xbox. I don't know what he did but all of the guns had in infinity symbol next to the ammo. It's still there.
