Near the begin you're asked by an old woman to save her granson (i think). Ask you speak to the woman she gives you the hexigon key. I've found nearly everything on fable but I have no f**kin idea what this key is for. Help!

It's the key for the big door that leads to moonlit tunnel and the focus site in Hobbe Cave. If you don't have this key, you can't get past those doors. Since you have to go through the door to confront Jack, and you need to do the quest to proceed, it's a necessary item for the plot.
