NHL 2005 Xbox Cheats and Tips

Getting Good Players Cheap:

To be able to sign good players for less get your Legal Upgrades high then save the game. Now release a high salary player into free agency and negotiate a new contract and you will be able to get the player to take multi-million Dollar pay-cut. Don't go too low on the offer as the player may become insulted and not talk to your team anymore.

Scoring Easy Goals:

Using the Left Analog-stick select 'Aggressive Faceoff' and then pass to the player who is on your right. That player will be able to breakaway and whilst controlling him call for back-up from your team by pressing Black. Then when you get about halfway between the goal and the blue line stop for a couple of seconds which will enable you to dodge the opposing deffense as they check back. In a circular way go to the back of the goal and hold B and release it as you are just past the net and you will score about 80% of the time. In the World Cup of Hockey the European teams goalies will have trouble blocking hard wrist shots from either the right or left.

Easy Breakaways:

Lots of aggressive face-off formations will have a far winger and by shooting or passing the puck in his direction will lead to an easy breakaway.

Deflections:

Shoot from the point and shoot again when there are players in front to get deflections.

Unlock Videos:

At the Title screen press Start and different videos will appear. By playing with different leagues and teams you can unlock more videos.

Select Songs:

To change the current song click the Left Analog-stick.

I have been playing this game for quit awhile now and i was looking for some fresh agents then bam!!!.Rick Campanelli shows up photo and all his overall is 64 since hes a rookie you cn jack his overall by playing games and scoring.
