Easter Eggs Video

Door Character

When you place a door in Edit mode and tap on it with the stylus you will hear someone knock back a number of times. If you then tap back matching the number of knocks you heard a character will open the door after 4-5 rounds.


Unlock Nintendo World Championships 2015 Levels

When you have completed ALL 10 Mario Challenges 7 times you will unlock the Nintendo World Championships 2015 levels.


Unlock Luigi Mushroom

When you have completed ALL 4 Nintendo World Championships 2015 levels the Luigi Mushroom will appear in Course Maker when a Super Mushroom is shaken. The Luigi Mushroom is a power-up that will make Mario slimmer and give him the abilities of Luigi. It can only be used on the Super Mario Bros. Levels.


Unlock Alternate Introduction Sequence

You will be able to see a different introduction sequence each day you start the game. Introduction sequences include Mario getting squashed by a Thwop and Luigi throwing a Fire Flower at Mario.


Unlock Fighter Fly Costume

If you have an updated version of the game the Fighter Fly costume can be unlocked by completing ALL 3 levels of Gnat Attack in Hard mode.


Unlock Amiibo Costumes

Complete the following tasks in the 100 Mario Challenge to unlock the corresponding costume for your character's Amiibo without having to buy it. Every time you complete the 100 Mario Challenge you will be awarded a random Amiibo costume. Note: You can only play Easy difficulty 20 times and Normal difficulty 45 times before being forced to play Expert and Super Expert to unlock the remaining costumes.

Clear 100 Mario Challenge on Easy or higher.

Clear 100 Mario Challenge on Normal or higher.

Unlock Mario Paint Fly Swatter Mini-Game

This feature is enabled during level creation by quickly tapping on the three little mosquitos that fly out when you remove a block or shake a muncher enemy. This will not happen with every block you move and if you complete the minigame the first time you will unlock the Builder Mario costume.


Gnat Attack Hard Mode

If you have the 1.2 update you will be able to access Gnat Attack Hard mode. To unlock this feature just keep shaking a muncher until Yaniga the giant fly appears. If you tap him you will be able to play a harder version of Gnat Attack where beating it will unlock the Fighter Fly costume for the Mystery Mushroom.


Unlock Alternate Stage End Music in Super Mario World

If you use the Bowser/Mushroom SFX tool you can change a stage's background music. Beat a stage in the Super Mario World theme while the Bonus Stage ('Mushroom') alternate background music is playing to get the 'Bonus Stage Clear' music instead of the usual theme.


Unlock CRT TV Mode

Hold D-pad Down and press B + A on a level loading screen to unlock CRT TV mode for ALL styles. If you have entered the code correctly the game will look as if played on a CRT TV screen and there will not be any Mario 30th Anniversary Edition Amiibo. To disable this feature you need to repeat the code on a level loading screen.


Control Course Objects

You can make the various objects that are in the course builder screen react differently by grabbing and shaking them. This includes the turtle-like Koopas turning different colours and the Goomba mushrooms shrinking and flying away.


Medals

When you earn the indicated amount of stars you will get the corresponding medal which will appear in the 'Play Info' screen and allow you to upload the specified amount of stages online.

Goomba:

Earn 1 star.

Koopa Troopa:

Earn 50 stars. Allows the player to upload up to 20 courses.

Piranha Plant:

Receive 150 stars. Allows the player to upload up to 30 courses.

Spiny:

Earn 300 stars. Allows the player to upload up to 40 courses.

Cheep Cheep:

Earn 500 stars. Allows the player to upload up to 50 courses.

Blooper:

Earn 800 stars. Allows the player to upload up to 60 courses.

Lakitu:

Earn 1,300 stars. Allows the player to uplo..


Mystery Mushroom Amiibo Costumes (Spoilers)

Unlock Expert Mode in 100 Mario Challenge

This feature will become available when you complete Easy and Normal modes in 100 Mario Challenge.


Control Title Screen

When the game's title appears on a demo stage background you will be able to enable the following effects by tapping the indicated area.

'Super' in the Title:

Crowd shouts the title while Super Stars appear.

'M' in 'Mario':

Changes it to a 'W' and get a thank you from Wario.

'A' in 'Mario':

Shower of stars.

'R' in 'Mario':

Some coins are revealed when you stretch the letter.

'I' in 'Mario':

Parrot that can be used in the Sound Effects editor.

Unlock Super Expert Mode in 100 Mario Challenge

If you have version 1.40 of the game you will be able to unlock Super Expert mode in 100 Mario Challenge can by beating Expert mode.


How to make a invisible block (only works for ground)

1. Put a track.

2. Put a invisible question block on the track.

3. Put a cloud anywhere.

4. Put the track on the cloud.

5. Get rid of the track and there you have it. A invisible block.
