1. Intro**********************WFP1*******************************************
Welcome to my third FAQ for the Wii. This will be my third "exercise" game FAQ
as well, so I have --some-- experience in this area. I hope you enjoy.

2. Starting Up**********************WFP2*************************************
Firstly, you are required to have a Wii (duh), a copy of Wii Fit Plus (duh),
a Wii Remote (duh), and a Wii Balance Board. Optional peripherals include a
Nunchuk, a yoga mat, and some other stuff.

I may be a little off on this, since it's been a while since I started this,
and I am not restarting everyone's profiles. I think you are supposed to make
a file for you when you begin. That means you will have to know your height
(if fraction/decimal, round up) and the day, month, and year of your birth.
When you enter all of this data, the Wii will find your weight using the Wii
Balance Board.

After all of that, your balance is also tested. It will mention some stuff to
you on it, then continue on to your Body Mass Index (BMI) and weight. After
that, I think there was more talking and then you do one of the Body Tests.
I think it is the Basic Balance Test - that was what all four members of my
family did. After that, you are told your Wii Fit Age.

3. Training Plus Games**********************WFP3*****************************

O--------------O-----------------------------------------------------O
| Perfect 10 | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board, Wii Remote |
O--------------O-----------------------------------------------------O

BEGINNER (Add to 10):
In this game, you will shake you hips in order to severely shift your balance.
Doing this will let your Mii hit some mushrooms with numbers on them. When
they have been hit, they light up. If all of the lit-up mushrooms add up to
10, you proceed to the next level. You get two minutes to complete 25 levels.

One thing to note, for the young people who cannot understand adding a negative
number. Whenever you add a negative, you are essentially subtracting that
number. Example: 14 + (-4) = 14 - 4 = 10

INTERMEDIATE (Add to 15):
This is the same as before, but you are adding to fifteen, so it is a little
harder.

EXPERT (Add to 20):
Again, the same, but you are adding to twenty. This makes it a decent
challenge.

O------------------O-----------------------------------------------------O
| Island Cycling | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board, Wii Remote |
O------------------O-----------------------------------------------------O

BEGINNER:
In this game, you will walk in place on the Wii Balance Board in order to make
the Mii on the TV start cycling. Use the Wii Remote as handlebars to turn.
You want to go through the checkpoints on the island, marked by the orange
flags on the map (press 1 to zoom out). You aren't judged on time, but
distance traveled. The less distance, the better. Once you get all of the
checkpoints, return to the starting area.

Also, the Wii Remote has an additional function. However, you must have a pet
registered. Whenever you find one of your pets, you can press A to make it come
or go away.

ADVANCED:
Essentially the same as before, but some more checkpoints.

O------------------O----------------------------------------------------------O
| Rhythm Kung Fu | Needed Peripherals: Balance Board, Wii Remote, Nunchuk |
O------------------O----------------------------------------------------------O

BEGINNER:
The Wii Remote goes into your dominant hand; the Nunnchuk in the other one.

In this game, you are in some building with four other Miis. Using rhythm, you
are to use the Wii Balance Board, Wii Remote, and/or Nunchuk to copy their
movements.

To copy the movements, just mirror it. For example, if they punch, you punch.
They raise a leg, you raise a leg.

The more confusing ones are the weird triangle-shaped hand and the other is, I
think, where one hand is over the other. For those, simply move your hands
toward each other.

INTERMEDIATE:
Same as before, but more complicated combinations.

EXPERT:
Same as usual, but even more complicated combos and I seem to notice some
routines overlapping (one Mii start when the other isn't done).

O-----------------O-----------------------------------------------------O
| Driving Range | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board, Wii Remote |
O-----------------O-----------------------------------------------------O

In this game, you are basically practicing your golf shots, like a typical
driving range.

What you do is similar to the Wii Sports games. You face downward with the
Wii Remote in both hands (remember to be on the Balance Board). If you want to
practice a swing, simply swing. If you want to smack the ball, hold A while
you swing.

The power of your shot will be determined by how much your center of balance
moves and how much your weight shifts from one leg to another. For all of the
activities, I typically begin swinging back, shift my weight to my back leg at
almost the same time, then swing forward and shift my weight forward.

In each of these, you are trying to reach a target. The closer, the better.
To maximize your score, never twist the Wii Remote or you'll create spin.

APPROACH SHOT:
Target Distance: ~ 100 yards.
Control : High.

IRON:
Target Distance: ~ 150 yards.
Control : Okay.

DRIVER:
Target Distance: ~ 250 yards.
Control : Low.

O------------------O-----------------------------------------------------O
| Segway Circuit | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board, Wii Remote |
O------------------O-----------------------------------------------------O

BEGINNER:
Here, you will use the Wii Remote and Balance Board to control some weird
motorized scooter-thing. Hold the Wii Remote sideways and tilt one side up
or down to turn the scooter. Lean forward on the Balance Board to accelerate
and backwards to go backwards.

You want to simply hit all the beach balls. You do this by running into them.
You'll get 10 points. However, moles will grab them as well; running into them
causes you to lose 5 points.

A major aid in this will be a registered pet. When you find it, use the A
button on the Wii Remote to send it forward. If it hits a ball, you still
earn the points. A pet may appear whether one is registered or not; I do not
know.

When all of the balls have been popped, a final mole appears and begins running
(or is it digging?) around, away from you. Chase after it. You'll have to use
the pet to pop its beach ball.

ADVANCED:
Same as before, except the final mole has two beach balls.

O-------------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Bird's-Eye Bull's-Eye | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O-------------------------O-----------------------------------------O

BEGINNER:
In this game, you will use your arms to flap and fly and you lean on the Wii
Balance Board to move forward, backward, left, or right. Why? In the game, your
Mii is dressed up as a bird. You want to fly above a target, then drop onto
it without flapping anymore to hit to gain a time bonus. Just keep on going!

ADVANCED:
Just getting progressively harder from there.

O------------------O-----------------------------------------------------O
| Snowball Fight | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board, Wii Remote |
O------------------O-----------------------------------------------------O

BEGINNER:
In this game, you are in a snowball fight. Your Mii is behind a screen. Lean
left or right to poke your head out to see who there is. While you are doing
this, use the Wii Remote to aim and press A to throw a snowball. You get a
point if you hit someone, and extra points for hitting a snowman. If you get
hit three times, you lose. Simple, eh?

ADVANCED:
Just getting progressively harder from there.

O-------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Obstacle Course | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O-------------------O-----------------------------------------O

In this game, you will run in place on the Wii Balance Board to make your Mii
move along the course. There is nothing much to note on any part here except
that if you get hit by a wrecking ball, log, or fall into a gap, you'll have
to continue from the previous checkpoint. When you get to a checkpoint, you'll
get some extra time. Bend your knees and straighten them to jump over logs and
gaps.

Remember, winning here is all timing, nothing more!

O-------------O-----------------------------------------------------O
| Tilt City | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board, Wii Remote |
O-------------O-----------------------------------------------------O

BEGINNER:
In this game, you will control multiple platforms. The upper, Wii Remote-shaped
one is controlled by the Wii Remote's tilt. The lower, Wii Balance Board-shaped
ones are controlled by how much you are leaning.

Control the platforms to roll the colored balls into the pipe of their color.
A Mii/pet ball earns double points (up to 10) and consecutive successes earn an
additional point for every ball put in.

ADVANCED:
The balls will come faster and a new color is added.

O-----------------O----------------------------------------------------------O
| Rhythm Parade | Needed Peripherals: Balance Board, Wii Remote, Nunchuk |
O-----------------O----------------------------------------------------------O

BEGINNER:
In this game, you will begin by stepping on the Wii Balance Board in time with
the whistle. This will be key to achieving high scores; you are stepping in
time correctly when blue light appears around your feet.

Keep this up as you continue. Two blue circles will appear. Wii Remote icons
will go into one, and Nunchuk icons into another. When an icon goes into that
circle, swing the controller that icon represented; if two come down at the
same time, swing both.

You'll notice that if you step in time and swing correctly, you'll begin to get
"Perfect" rather than "Okay" after swinging. You'll also get a larger band.

ADVANCED:
Frankly, I see no difference. It may be somewhat harder.

O--------------------O--------------------------------------------------------O
| Big Top Juggling | Needed Peripherals: Balance Board, Wii Remote, Nunchuk |
O--------------------O--------------------------------------------------------O

BEGINNER:
In this game, your Mii will be on a ball in a circus. By changing your balance
on the Balance Board, you will move left/right. Try to stay off the edge, or
you will be unable to juggle.

During this time, people will throw balls at you. Depending on which hand the
ball goes to, you'll have to flick the Wii Remote or Nunchuk. This will throw
it to the other hand. When it gets there, flick the corresponding controller.
More balls will be thrown at you as you get a streak with the single ball. You
can up to three in this mode.

Also, bombs may be thrown at you. Do not get these.

INTERMEDIATE:
Same as before, but with a maximum of five balls.

EXPERT:
Same as usual, but with a maximum of seven balls.

O--------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Skateboard Arena | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O--------------------O-----------------------------------------O

You will need to rotate the Wii Balance Board ninety degrees, depending on your
handedness.

BEGINNER:
To kick off and start (or gain speed), put your back foot off of the board.
Lean forwards/backwards to turn in that direction. Bend and extend your legs to
jump. When going off a ramp, lift your heels to do a trick.

This is simple. Simply skate over the blue strips of light to gain points. Get
enough before time runs out to continue.

ADVANCED:
It gets harder from here. You'll have to jump over ramps behind gates and other
hard stuff.

O-------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Table Tilt Plus | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O-------------------O-----------------------------------------O

Pretty simple. All you do is shift your weight on the Wii Balance Board to tilt
the table and move the balls. Get the balls in the holes to get a six-second
bonus and possibly go to the next level.

O-----------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Balance Bubble Plus | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O-----------------------O-----------------------------------------O

Lean on the Wii Balance Board to direct the movement of the bubble; you do not
want to hit anything! Begin by going straight, then right, sharply left, and
then straight. Continue slowly and avoid the pillars. When you exit the tunnel,
avoid the spinning things, then the bees, and you've won.

O------------------O----------------------------------O
| Basic Run Plus | Needed Peripherals: Wii Remote |
O------------------O----------------------------------O

Either stick the Wii Remote into a pocket or hold it. You are going to run in
place while your Mii travels around Wuhu Island. As it does, observe the
surroundings as you will get a quiz at the end.

HINT: If you've played Wii Sports Resort (or another game featuring Wuhu
Island), the island is the same in those games as it is in this one.

4. Yoga Games**********************WFP4**************************************

O------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Deep Breathing | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O------------------O-----------------------------------------O

Do you REALLY need help on this? It is merely standing on the board and keeping
your balance in the circle.

O-------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Half-Moon | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O-------------O-----------------------------------------O

In this pose, you will first put your feet together, raise your hands, and
then lean to one side, then the other for about 10 ~ 15 seconds each. It will
be a tad painful your first few tries, so don't lean too fast or too much, or
you'll lose the center of balance.

O-----------O-----------------------------------------O
| Warrior | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O-----------O-----------------------------------------O

For this, you will rotate about ninety degrees and put one foot on the board
and one foot off, making both be spread apart and lined up. Lift both arms up
and align them with your head; keep them straight. Next, you will merely try
to keep your weight of the foot on the board within the blue area of the red
bar. This will be repeated with the other side.

O--------O-----------------------------------------O
| Tree | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O--------O-----------------------------------------O

You may need someone to help you balance or keep you from falling; I usually
do...

Okay, first, you will take your left leg and put it against the left side of
the right leg. When ready, hold your arms up high into the air and hold this
pose for about 25 seconds. You will repeat with the other side.

O------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Sun Salutation | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O------------------O-----------------------------------------O

Pretty simple. You'll first put your hands together and raise them into the
air and lean back some. Now, you'll bend and touch your toes. You'll then bend
your knees and arch your back and put your hands into the air diagonally.

O-----------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Standing Knee | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O-----------------O-----------------------------------------O

Simple. You will merely hold one leg against your body for a bit, then repeat
with the other leg.

O-------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Palm Tree | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O-------------O-----------------------------------------O

Not too hard. You will begin by lifting your arms and heels, then putting your
hand behind your back, making it perpendicular to the ceiling.

O---------O-----------------------------------------O
| Chair | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O---------O-----------------------------------------O

A bit difficult, although simple to understand. You will stand on the Wii
Balance Board and bring your arms straight in front of you, then bend your
knees. You'll know you're doing it right if it starts to hurt a little.

O------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Triangle | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O------------O-----------------------------------------O

When you stand on the board, bring your left foot back in line with your right.
Next, stretch out your arms in a straight line. You'll then touch your right
foot with your right hand while putting your left high above your hand. Then
you'll switch feet.

O-----------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Downward-Facing Dog | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O-----------------------O-----------------------------------------O

Very easy. First, get on all four with your hands on the Balance Board. Then,
using your legs, raise your backside into the air, keeping your legs, back,
and arms straight. Keep your head tucked in for a bit and that's all.

O---------O-----------------------------------------O
| Dance | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O---------O-----------------------------------------O

This one is somewhat difficult. You'll lift your foot and make your heel touch
your bottom while putting your knees together. You'll then stretch that leg.
You'll hold this pose for a bit, then switch legs.

O---------O----------------------------O
| Cobra | Needed Peripherals: None |
O---------O----------------------------O

Too easy. First, you'll lie flat on the floor. You'll then use your arms to
raise yourself while keeping the tops of your feet on the floor. And you'll
hold that pose.

O----------O----------------------------O
| Bridge | Needed Peripherals: None |
O----------O----------------------------O

[Note: If you have a bad back, I recommend against doing this.]

You'll first have to lie flat on the floor. You'll then bring your knees in,
as if you are about to do a sit-up. Touch your ankles with your hands and push
your back upwards. Hold that pose.

O----------------O----------------------------O
| Spinal Twist | Needed Peripherals: None |
O----------------O----------------------------O

*As you are reading this, you hear a yelp of pain.* That will likely be you,
as I know few people who can do this without pain, me being one of them. I'm
not lying, though; most of my friends and family have trouble with this.

Firs,t lie on the floor, arms stretched out. Bring your left foot over your
right foot, pushing the knee to the floor. SLOWLY move your head to the left
and hold it.

O------------------O----------------------------O
| Shoulder Stand | Needed Peripherals: None |
O------------------O----------------------------O

*As you read this, a shriek of pain erupts from somewhere.* That is almost
everyone who has tried this. This is easily the most dangerous pose of them
all. If you have high blood pressure or some other problem, DO NOT DO THIS!!!

Now, the idea is simple; the performance is what's hard. You'll simply lie flat
on the floor and then raise your legs towards the sky, while "standing" on your
shoulders. Ouch.

O-------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Spine Extension | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O-------------------O-----------------------------------------O

A little difficult for some. You will extend your left leg back while raising
your arms into the air. You'll then place them behind your back, making your
palms touch, while leaning forward. Hold that pose, then switch.

O--------O-----------------------------------------O
| Gate | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O--------O-----------------------------------------O

Not very hard to do at all. First, you'll face left while on your knees. You
will then extend your right leg onto the Balance Board while sliding your right
hand down it. At the same time, you're putting your left hand over your head.
You'll hold this pose and then switch.

O--------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Grounded V | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O--------------O-----------------------------------------O

A bit difficult. You'll sit on the Wii Balance Board while simply lifting your
legs high. Harder than it sounds, though.

5. Strength Training Games**********************WFP5*************************

O------------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Single-Leg Extension | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O------------------------O-----------------------------------------O

Rather simple. You will stand on your right leg and then extend your right arm
and left leg a few times, then repeat with the other side.

VERSIONS: 6 reps per leg, 10 reps per leg, 20 reps per leg

O--------------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Push-Up and Side Plank | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O--------------------------O-----------------------------------------O

Pretty easy. First, you get on all fours, with your hands on the Balance Board.
You will extend your legs and do a push-up. Next, put your left leg on your
right to do a right plank. Do another push-up then put your right leg on your
left for a left plank.

VERSIONS: 6 reps, 10 reps, 20 reps

O----------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Torso Twists | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O----------------O-----------------------------------------O

Begin by simply twisting clockwise then counterclockwise. You will then twist
diagonally so as to touch your toes.

VERSIONS: 3 reps, 6 reps

O-------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Jackknife | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O-------------O-----------------------------------------O

It is essentially a sit-up where you lift your legs, too. On the whistle,
just lift you head and your legs off of the Balance Board; on the second one,
lower them. It'll help not to extremely bend your spine.

VERSIONS: 10 reps, 20 reps, 30 reps

O---------O-----------------------------------------O
| Lunge | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O---------O-----------------------------------------O

Pretty simple. Extend your left leg behind you while you put your hands behind
your head. On the bell, bend the left leg and put as much weight on the right
leg as you can. You'll then switch to bending the right leg behind you.

VERSIONS: 10 reps per leg, 15 reps per leg, 20 reps per leg

O----------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Rowing Squat | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O----------------O-----------------------------------------O

Simple in thought; not as easy in execution. Stand on the Wii Balance Board
and bend your knees, keeping your balance to the back, then extend your legs.

VERSIONS: 15 reps, 30 reps, 45 reps

O--------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Single-Leg Twist | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O--------------------O-----------------------------------------O

Somewhat simple. You will begin by extending your right arm and left leg while
you stand on your right leg. You'll then touch your right arm to your left leg
a few times and repeat with the other side.

VERSIONS: 10 reps per leg, 20 reps per leg

O---------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Sideways Leg Lift | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O---------------------O-----------------------------------------O

Simple. You will stand on your right leg. During this time, you will extend
your left leg and right arm. You'll switch after a bit. Be careful about your
speed, though!

VERSIONS: 10 reps per leg, 20 reps per leg

O---------O-----------------------------------------O
| Plank | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O---------O-----------------------------------------O

This is essentially a push-up without moving. You will get your elbows onto
the Wii Balance Board and extend your legs behind for as long as you can.
As you'll see, ouch.

VERSIONS: 30 seconds, 60 seconds/1 minute, 90 seconds/1.5 minutes

O--------------------O----------------------------------O
| Tricep Extension | Needed Peripherals: Wii Remote |
O--------------------O----------------------------------O

Very easy. First, put the Wii Remote in your right hand and raise up into the
air, steadying the elbow with the left hand. Move your right hand up and down
at the whistle. Repeat with the other arm.

VERSIONS: 10 reps per arm, 20 reps per arm

O--------------------O----------------------------------O
| Arm and Leg Lift | Needed Peripherals: Wii Remote |
O--------------------O----------------------------------O

Put the Wii Remote in your right hand and get down on all fours. At the
whistle, raise your left leg and right arm, attempting to keep the Wii Remote
level. At the second whistle, put them down. Repeat a few times, then switch
to the left hand.

VERSIONS: 10 reps per arm, 20 reps per arm

O--------------------O---------------------------------O
| Single-Arm Stand | Needed Peripherals: Wii Remote |
O--------------------O---------------------------------O

Begin by standing up, holding the Wii Remote with the sensor pointing up. Sit
down and lie flat on the floor with the sensor still pointing up. Next, using
only the other arm and some other muscles, stand up, keeping the sensor still
pointing at the ceiling. Harder than it sounds. You'll then switch arms.

VERSIONS: 6 reps per arm, 10 reps per arm

O------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Balance Bridge | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O------------------O-----------------------------------------O

Begin by sitting on the Wii Balance Board. At the whistle, lift up your body
and keep your right leg stretched out. Do this a few times and repeat with the
other leg.

VERSIONS: 6 reps per leg

O--------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Side Lunge | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O--------------O-----------------------------------------O

Simple. You'll begin by stepping your left foot off to the left of the Balance
Board, keeping the right foot on. You'll then lean to the right, putting as
much weight as possible on that foot. You'll repeat with the other foot.

O--------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Single-Leg Reach | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O--------------------O-----------------------------------------O

You'll begin by standing on the Wii Balance Board. You'll extend your right arm
and left foot while leaning forward for a period of time several times. You'll
repeat this with the other side.

O---------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Push-Up Challenge | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O---------------------O-----------------------------------------O

You'll be challenging your trainer to see who can do more push-ups. He/she will
lose at 10, 20, and so on if you make it that far.

O-----------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Jackknife Challenge | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O-----------------------O-----------------------------------------O

Here, prepare for a six-pack. I'm not joking. As with the other challenges,
you'll progressively have to do more and mroe jackknifes as the trainer loses.
The max is ONE HUNDRED JACKKNIFES!

O-------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Plank Challenge | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O-------------------O-----------------------------------------O

Here, you will be seeing who a do a plank longer, you or your trainer. It is
quite simple in explanation; much, much harder in execution. Your trainer will
lose early on, but eventually go up. The maximum time is three minutes.

6. Aerobics Games**********************WFP6**********************************

O-------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Hula Hoop | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O-------------O-----------------------------------------O

Here, you will swing your hips around in a large neat circle - like with a
typical hula hoop - to make your hula hoop swing as much as possible. When
your hula hoop(s) get high enough, another will be thrown at you. Shift your
balance to the left/right (depending on where it's coming from) to catch it
and it to your one. This means you can double the spins! You can have up to
five hula hoops and you get two minutes to play.

O--------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Basic Step | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O--------------O-----------------------------------------O

Very simple. You'll see a weird board thing in the middle of the screen. As it
scrolls, you want to do the commands you are to do. You are to do them when it
reaches the red box to get a PERFECT. You are given a tutorial on certain
commands before they appear.

O-------------O----------------------------------O
| Basic Run | Needed Peripherals: Wii Remote |
O-------------O----------------------------------O

Simple. You will put the Wii Remote in a pocket or hold it. When it says to go,
begin jogging in place AT A STEADY PACE. This is not a race, and a steady pace
will give you a better score (for some reason). If you go too fast, you'll
trip.

VARIATIONS: Short Distance, Long Distance, Island Lap

O-------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Super Hula Hoop | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O-------------------O-----------------------------------------O

Here, you will swing your hips around in a large neat circle - like with a
typical hula hoop - to make your hula hoop swing as much as possible. When
your hula hoop(s) get high enough, another will be thrown at you. Shift your
balance to the left/right (depending on where it's coming from) to catch it
and it to your one. This means you can double the spins! You can have up to
five hula hoops.

Unlike the normal Hula Hoop, this is divided into two rounds. The first makes
you spin to the right (clockwise). The second, you spin to the left
(counterclockwise). If you aren't used to one, you'll soon get used to it.

VARIATIONS: 3 minutes (1.5 minutes per round), 6 minutes (3 minutes per round),
10 minutes (5 minutes per round)

O-----------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Advanced Step | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O-----------------O-----------------------------------------O

Very simple. You'll see a weird board thing in the middle of the screen. As it
scrolls, you want to do the commands you are to do. You are to do them when it
reaches the red box to get a PERFECT. You are given a tutorial on certain
commands before they appear.

FYI, this has two new commands. Also, you do not have to do the clapping.

O-----------O---------------------------------------O
| 2-P Run | Needed Peripherals: Wii Remote (x2) |
O-----------O---------------------------------------O

This is a two player race with the same rules as a Basic/Free Run. Therefore,
you will need two Wii Remotes, one for each player. Each needs to hold it or
put it in their pocket.

Again, this is not a race (although it gets quite close). Going too fast will
make you trip. Also, player two will not get fit credits added to their profile
for some reason.

VARIATIONS: Short Distance, Long Distance, Island Lap

O-----------------O----------------------------------------------------------O
| Rhythm Boxing | Needed Peripherals: Balance Board, Wii Remote, Nunchuk |
O-----------------O----------------------------------------------------------O

Begin by plugging in the Nunchuk. Put the Wii Remote in your dominant hand and
the Nunchuk in the other.

You will begin by watching a Mii do a set of punches or dodges. To punch, first
move a foot forward based on your FIRST punch (a left-right-left means you put
your left forward, etc.) then do the punches.

This works the same if you have to move backwards: your forward foot is based
on the first punch. If you move backwards, you'll move the OTHER foot back so
the other will be in front.

To dodge a hit, tilt the Wii Remote and Nunchuk in the direction you wish to
dodge. To block, simply keep both feet on the balance board.

At the end of a game, you get ten seconds of bonus time, in which you can just
go insane on the bag. Swing wildly!

VARIATIONS: Beginner (3 minutes), Intermediate (6 minutes), Expert (10 minutes)

O-------------O---------------------------------------------------------------O
| Free Step | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board, Wii Remote (optional) |
O-------------O---------------------------------------------------------------O

In this, you will simply step on and off the board for the chosen time to a set
rhythm that can be changed. Use up/down on the D-Pad to change the speed up and
down. Press A to change the sound of the rhythm or turn it off.

You better change to something on TV while doing this. Your Wii Remote will
also talk to you.

VARIATIONS: 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes

O------------O----------------------------------------------------------------O
| Free Run | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board, Wii Remote (optional) |
O------------O----------------------------------------------------------------O

In this, you'll jog in place for the chosen time. While you jog, your Wii
Remote will make noises, such as you running, tripping, or talking to you. It
is a good idea to change the channel.

VARIATIONS: 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes

7. Balance Games**********************WFP7***********************************

O------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Soccer Heading | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O------------------O-----------------------------------------O

BEGINNER:
In this game, you are to shift your balance left and right to hit soccer balls
that are kicked at you. Doing so will give you points; consecutive hits will
earn extra points.

However, avoid the shoes (-1 point) and pandas (-3 points) as you will lose
points and break the streak you are on.

ADVANCED:
Quite similar to before, except that it is slightly longer and you may have to
deal with players who won't kick a ball, but two pandas!

O--------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Ski Slalom | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O--------------O-----------------------------------------O

BEGINNER:
Here, the goal is simple. By leaning left/right to steer, go through the flags.
You'll lose points (+7 sec.) if you do not. You can lean forward to get a
boost of speed. Other than that, practice makes perfect!

ADVANCED:
Similar goal to beginner, but MUCH harder.

O------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Ski Jump | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O------------O-----------------------------------------O

Begin by squatting down and leaning forward so that your center of balance is
very close to the blue dot on the diagram. This will give you a vital speed
boost. When you begin, just wait until you get on that ramp and extend your
knees (ie. stand up) and HOLD YOUR BALANCE. Not your old balance but just keep
your center of balance as still as possible!

O--------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Table Tilt | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O--------------O-----------------------------------------O

In this, you will lean forward, left, back, and right to tilt a table on the
screen. On this table, you'll find some balls. You want to navigate them into
the holes by tilting the table, causing them to roll. Remember, it is okay to
let a ball go away to get another in!

VARIETIES: Beginner, Advanced

O------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Tightrope Walk | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O------------------O-----------------------------------------O

In this game, you will be walking on a tightrope high above the ground. To
move along the tightrope, walk in the place SLOWLY. Going too fast will make
you lose your balance. Speaking of which, leaning left and right will make the
Mii lean in that direction. Do not lean unless the wind is blowing; if so, lean
against the wind. If you begin to lose your balance, lean left/right so you'll
get back onto the tightrope. If you see a metal chomping thing, jump over it.
To jump, get your balance (that is extremely vital) and then bend and extend
your knees. Got it?

VARIETIES: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert

O------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Balance Bubble | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O------------------O-----------------------------------------O

In this game, you will be moving a bubble. Lean forward to make it move
forward, backward to go backward, left to go left, and right to go right.

You want to start by going slowly. It is pretty simple, actually. One thing
to note: when you come to the fork, go right for easiness, left for speed.

And in Advanced, there are many more bees. Touching a bee or anything in
general will almost certainly make your bubble pop, therefore making you lose.

VARIETIES: Beginner, Advanced

O-----------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Penguin Slide | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O-----------------O-----------------------------------------O

In this game, your shifts in weight on the Wii Balance Board will control the
tilt of the iceberg. Tilting left will tilt the iceberg left, making you go
left; same with tilting to the right. You want your Mii in the penguin suit to
touch as many fish as possible to earn points. To get the red fish, go to the
end of the iceberg and quickly change the tilt for ten points.

O--------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| Snowbaord Slalom | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O--------------------O-----------------------------------------O

You will rotate the Balance Board ninety degrees for this game.

Like with skateboarding, lean forward (from your perspective!!!) to turn that
way; same with backward. Lean to the left (your perspective!!!) to get a boost.
When turning, lean right (your perspective...) to get an easier turn; leaning
left will make it harder.

VARIETIES: Beginner, Advanced

8. Extra Games**********************WFP8*************************************
For these games, go to the menu where you can select to go to a certain game
type or the My Wii Fit Plus. Point at the Wii Balance Board in the background
and press A to be offered one of these games:

O-----------------------------O-----------------------------------------O
| The Ultimate Balance Test | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board |
O-----------------------------O-----------------------------------------O

This is almost the same as the Basic Balance Test, except that you must get
~ 50-50 balance on all levels. The final level's bars are hair-thin, meaning
exactly 50-50 for three seconds. You get a total of sixty seconds.

O--------------------O-----------------------------------------------------O
| Scales Challenge | Needed Peripherals: Wii Balance Board, Wii Remote |
O--------------------O-----------------------------------------------------O

In this, you are to put objects on the Wii Balance Board that you think are
equal to the weight given. It is mostly trial-and-error, unless you know the
precise weights of what is being put on there. Press A to check it and get
points based on your precision.

9. My Wii Fit Plus**********************WFP9*********************************
Here, on the left side of the screen, you'll find four icons with these
functions:

CALORIE CHECK:
Relates your calories burned that day to certain foods. Also lets you set a
goal for burning calories.

FIT CREDITS:
See your calories burned, time played on Wii Fit Plus, and time spent in the
Activity Log for various days.

CHANGE TRAINER:
Change your trainer (has no effect in Training Plus, Aerobics, or Balance
games).

WHAT ARE METS?
Gives you the tutorial about METs.

The other icons here have to do with routines or how much you've played which
games (you can determine which easily).

Pressing A while pointing at the Wii Balance Board on the screen will allow you
to do a Balance Test. Press A while pointing at the clock to see an analog
version of the time the Wii console is currently set on.

10. Body Test / Simple Test**********************WFP10***********************

O=============O
| BODY TEST |
O=============O

First, step off of the Wii Balance Board and press A. When it tells you to,
step on.

After that, you will be talked to for a bit. At this point, your center of
balance, weight, and BMI will be measured. You might have to close your eyes
for this test; that is random. Stay as still as possible to prevent an error.

After that, you will be shown your BMI, it's relevance to you (normal,
overweight, etc.), and your center of balance. You may also see your weight.

After this, you will be asked if you wish to continue. Do so to take two of
the balance tests below:

----- AGILITY TEST -----
Here, you will simply shift your center of balance to hit the blue boxes.

----- BASIC BALANCE TEST -----
You will simply lean left and right to get your weight distributions in the
blue bars. The final round will be approximately 50-50.

----- DUAL BALANCE TEST -----
Same as the Basic Balance Test, but you will also rotate the Wii Remote some.

----- JUDGEMENT TEST -----
In this, you will be asked to center your balance. After doing so, a number
will appear. If it is greater than a certain number you were before starting,
hit it with the center-of-balance dot. If it is not; do nothing.

----- MEMORY TEST -----
Here, you will compare the number in the center with the one on the right. If
the center one is larger, squat down; if not, stay still.

----- PERIPHERAL VISION TEST -----
Here, you will center your balance and, keeping it centered, point at and press
A on the numbers 1 to 10 in numerical order.

----- PREDICTION TEST -----
A maze, in essence. Avoid hitting the green areas and the extreme edge of the
thing you're on by shifting your weight.

----- SINGLE-LEG BALANCE TEST -----
Here, you will stand on one leg which is in the center of the Wii Balance Board
to see your one-legged balance. As you go, the range you can move in will
become narrower. You may need someone to lean on.

----- STILLNESS TEST -----
Simply stay as still as possible. IGNORE THE MOVING PLATFORM AND STUFF ON THE
SCREEN!

----- WALKING TEST -----
Simply walk in place as you normally would for twenty steps.

After doing the two tests, you will be told your Wii Fit Age. For children, I
am fairly sure it cannot go below their current age. For adults, it can go
very far below it.

O===============O
| SIMPLE TEST |
O===============O

After some time of playing this game, you will unlock the Simple Test. It is
merely a quick body test that will not make you do the tests. You can only do
it once per day. If you want a repeat, you'll have to do a Body Test.

11. Weighing Pets and Babies**********************WFP11**********************
From the main menu, click on the corresponding button. If a pet, you will
choose what animal it is (cat/dog) and the pelt. As for babies, I wouldn't
know.

You'll then have to get someone to hold the pet/baby. That person must have
taken a Body/Simple Test today; if not, the Wii will take that person's weight
first. After that, it'll calibrate or something. It'll then let you hold the
pet/baby and stand on the Balance Board. It'll subtract the person's weight
from the weight of the person AND pet/baby to get the pet's/baby's approximate
weight.

The pet or baby will have a profile from then on. Neither are able to do any
Training. However, they may appear in the game for other's profiles (I know
that pets will for sure). You can, however, retake their weight if you wish
to do so.

13. (Why'd I Put This...?) Cheating**********************WFP13***************
As the title suggests, I do not know why I put this here. Maybe for the heck
of it, I guess. If you do actually plan on using these, please limit it to
showy high scores. Just standing still, shaking a Wii Remote, will definitely
not give the calorie-burning benefit an actual run would.
