understand more about items and certain unlockables in Sonic and the Black
Knight.

1) Basics
-----------
In the game, Sonic will collect items after defeating enemies and bosses,
helping certain Townspeople, and opening treasure chests. Either way, Sonic
will always have items after completing missions. Once a mission is completed,
players will be taken to a screen where they can choose to identify the items
they�ve collected. Use Identification Points (IP), which are also added at the
end of missions, identify the items of your choice. Once an item has been
identified, you can�t take back the IP you spent and all items that weren�t
identified are discarded, so chose wisely.
Note: Sonic can only collect up to 12 items maximum.
Types
All items belong to individual groups based on their icons.
Weapons- their icon is a sword
Armor- their icon is a metal glove
Medicines- their icon is a round beaker
Necklaces- their icon is a pearl necklace
Books- their icon is a book cover
Flowers- their icon is a flower
Gem Stones- their icon is a Gem/Emerald
Minerals- their icon is an oval shaped rock
Rings- their icon is a ring
Toys- their icon is the Pawn Chess game piece
Sack/Food- their icon is a bag
Present Box- their icon is a box shaped present.
Using Wifi
If you have someone's FC and they have your FC, you'll be able to send items
to them by using Wifi. Once you have an item, you won�t lose its entry in the
Treasury. It�s easier to get items from someone who has many of it than
looking for it yourself.
Sender
1. Go to the Treasury and press the A Button to make the item caption appear.
2. Press 2 to select the item to send.
3. Check for the person's name on your Friend List. If they have it, press 1
to update it.
Note: If you don't see their name or it shows ??? next to the FC, check to see
if they have your FC or if you put the wrong one in.
4. Press A and wait for the message to say Item was sent.
Receiver
Go the Treasury and press 1. All items that were sent to you will be collected.
Important Note: You can only send 10 items within 32 hours and receive 30
items within 3 days.
2) Blacksmith
----------------
After you complete the Special Challenge, �Reach the blacksmith�s shop�,
you�ll be able to check Sonic�s Status and equip items to characters. Later
on, you�ll be able to switch Sonic�s gameplay style and make other weapons for
the Knights of the Roundtable using some of the items you�ve collected.
Changing Styles
In Adventure Mode, Sonic starts the game with the Knight Style. Later on you
can unlock his Paladin and Cavalier Styles. When you play as the other knights
in story mode, Lancelot adds to the Knight Style, Gawain adds to the Paladin
Style, and Percival adds to the Cavalier Style.

Equipment
Some of the items found can be equipped to characters for affects. Gawain can
hold 1 item, Sonic and Lancelot can hold 2 Items, and Percival can hold 3
items.
Note: Items 31-58, 64-74, 90, 92, 116, 120-124, 159, 170, 178-179, and 182-184
in the Treasury are all equippable items

Ace of Spades� number of Identification Points slightly increased when carried.
Encyclopedia Arcana- this makes the identification of special items easier.
Joker- occasional reduction of the cost of identifying items when carried.
Pendant of Eons- number of Identification Points greatly increased when
carried.
Rose- number of Identification Points increased when carried.
Tome of Amulets- this makes the identification of necklaces easier.
Tome of Arms- makes the identification of weapons easier.
Tome of Armor- this makes the identification of armor easier.
Tome of Feasts- This makes the identification of foods easier.
Tome of Games- this makes the identification of toys easier.
Tome of Jewels- Makes the identification of gem stones easier.
Tome of Medicines- this makes the identification of medicines easier.
Tome of Minerals- This makes the identification of minerals easier.

Item Collecting
Bright Red Ribbon- townspeople become easier to interact with when worn.
Expensive Broach- occasional free item identification when worn.
Rabbit�s Tail- chance of finding treasure increased when worn.
Points
Chain Bracelet- points gained for multi-hit opponents within a certain time
when worn.
Dragon Claw- while carried, points gained for defeating three enemies
simultaneously.
Dragon�s Fang- while carried, points gained for defeating four enemies
simultaneously.
Dragon Scale- points gained for finding Hidden Fairies when carried.
Flower Amulet- when equipped, Ring chains give points.
Gladiolus- points are gained for defeating enemies during Soul Surge.
Highland Mushroom- points gained for spending a set amount of time in midair
when carried.
Lollipop- points are gained for defeating enemies without pause.
Mermaid�s Tear- protects one from loss of reputation when worn.
String of Pearls- Points gained for collecting fairies when worn.
Wooden Belt- points for defeating 2 enemies at the same time.
Status Effects
Antidote- makes one slightly more resistant to poison when carried.
Cure-all Broach- resistance to all status effects slightly increased when worn.
Fiery Quaff- makes one less susceptible to becoming frozen when carried.
Hot Fiery Quaff- makes one strongly resistant to becoming frozen when carried.
Herb of Toughness- increases one's defensive strength when carried.
Ice Broach- resistance to freeze attacks greatly increased when worn.
Iron Shackle- proficiency level is reduced and advancement stops.
Magical Moth Dust- proficiency level is slightly reduced and advancement stops.
Paralysis Cure- makes one slightly more resistant to paralysis when carried.
Paralysis Immunity- makes one strongly resistant to paralysis when carried.
Petrification Immunity- makes one strongly resistant to petrification when
carried.
Philter of Tranquility- makes one strongly resistant to panic effects when
carried.
Poison Broach- resistance to poison attacks greatly increased when worn.
Stone Broach- resistance to petrification attacks greatly increased when worn.
Superior Antidote- makes one nearly immune to poison when carried.
Stone Protection- makes one slightly more resistant to petrification when
carried.
Thorn Anklet- proficiency level is greatly reduced and advancement stops.
Vial of Calm- makes one less susceptible to panic effects when carried.
Misc
Healing Potion- start with 5 rings when you lose a life.
Healing Draught- start with 10 rings when you lose a life.
Herb of Strength- one's Soul Gauge fills more easily when carried.
Medal of Sonic- �What I�m made of� plays.
Medal of Gawain- �Unknown from Me� plays.
Medal of Lancelot- �All Hail Shadow� plays.

This section will answer any questions I�ve heard being asked repeatedly.
Q: Where can I find (item name)? How do I unlock Gallery (Vault Number/Name)?
A: Check Section 3 for Items and Section 4 for Gallery unlockables.
Q: What are Lancelot, Gawain, and Percival's Ultimate/final weapon? What do I
need to make them?
A: Lancelot's Ultimate/final weapon is called Ddraig Goch. To make it you need
2 Katanas, 2 Orichalcums, 2 Dragon-Eye Stones, and 2 Medals of Lancelot.
Gawain's is called Flamberge, which requires 2 Steel Longswords, 2 Samurai
Helmets, 2 Lava Jewels, and 2 Medals of Gawain. Finally, Percival's is called
Joyeuse and to make it you need 3 Steel Rapiers, 2 Ice Crystals, 2 Wavestones,
and 2 Medals of Percival.
Q: Are the Arthur's Legends Books random?
A: That's what I used to believe at first, but now after looking through the
videos of my first walkthrough, it seems that they are either exclusive to
certain missions or levels. I'm still looking into it.
Q: I'm having trouble getting one of the Titles...
A: Post it and I�ll give you suggestions on how to get it.
Q: Can we trade any item?
A: No. Only items collected in missions.
