Hello everyone, and welcome to my Extras FAQ for Silent Hill: Shattered 
Memories. This guide will cover such things as Echo Photo
locations, Echo Message locations, and memento locations. I decided to write
this guide because throughout the game there are many hard-to-find secrets,
and it's very difficult to find them on your own. Now, without further ado, 
let's begin.

<=1. Mementos=>

Throughout the game, you will find small trinkets. Their purpose isn't really
known, however, you feel a need to collect them for some reason... 

Memento #1 - "A Winter Beacon" (a snow globe containing a lighthouse)

Found inside the "Good Old Days Tavern", or the "52 Diner".

Memento #2 - "Hidden Fire" (A pack of cigarettes)

Found inside the glovebox of Cybil's police car. 

Memento #3 - "Frozen Waters" (not sure, appears to be a green stone)

Found in a bin beneath the water tower in the woods

Memento #4 - "A Moveable Feast" (A hunting knife)

Found in a cabinet inside the Hunter's Lodge in the woods

Memento #5 - "A Broken Ward" (A safety flashlight) ((Thanks to Lajenfodro))

Found in a dresser inside the hunting lodge. (Two mementos in the same area?
Wow!)

Memento #6 - "Pinned Beauty" (A butterfly impaled on a needle)

Found inside the trunk of a red car, right past the bridge that took you out
of the Nightmare world in the woods.

Memento #7 - "Suffocated Forever" (A bug, possibly a mosquito, trapped in a 
piece of amber)

Found inside of a box in the "Cat House", aka the brothel.

Memento #8 - "My Plastic Perfect Girl" (A doll)

Inside of a freezer in the Wonderland Burger.

Memento #9 - Heavenly Protection" (A gold charm)

Found inside of a cabinet in the school, above a fire extinguiher.

Memento #10 - "A Frigid Jewel" (A ring with a blue jewel)

Inside of a frog at the school biology lab.

Memento #11 - "An Eternal Rose" (A rose inside a clear ball)

Found inside of locker number 1037 in the school locker room.

Memento #12 - "Infinite Jest" (A ring with a skull and crossbones)

Found inside a box in Lisa's restroom.

Memento #13 - "Synthetic Femur" (a metallic bone-looking thing)

Found under the lid of a copy machine in downtown.

Memento #14 - "Memories Undeveloped" (A roll of film)

Found in the Family Pet store inside a hamster cage.

Memento #15 - "My Flying Lizard" (A...dinosaur?)

Found inside of a safe in the Fun and Games store.

Memento #16 - "The Modern Prometheus" (Frankenstein)

Found inside of the toy machine at the movie theater.

Memento #17 - "We Ouroboros" (A ring in the form of a snake eating it's tail)

Found inside of a box in the Pawn Shop

Memento #18 - "Poetry As Precise As Geometry" (A pen)

Found inside the glovebox in John's car

Memento #19 - "A Happy Bond" (A band)

Found inside a fish in the storm drain.

Memento #20 - "Memories Untaken" (A camera)

Found on an Indian statue by the cigar store

Memento #21 - "A Beacon, A Key" (Some sort of lighthouse-looking thing)

Found inside of the counter at the souvenir shop.

Memento #22 - "Your Diamond Heart" (A Diamond Ring)

Found in a telescope to the right of Annie's Bar.

Memento #23 - "The Dragon" (A dragon toy)

Found in a yellow box on a bench near the end of the road leading out of
Annie's Bar.

Memento #24 - "Eve" (A gold charm)

Found in the Jackpot Machine at the amusement park.

Memento #25 - "Adam" (A Gold Charm)

Found inside of a head statue at the Lighthouse Clinic.

<=2. Echo Photo Locations=>

During the game, you will come across certain areas that are not as they seem.
These areas are marked by a faint shadow. When you take a picture of the 
shadow, you will be rewarded with a bright flash of light, a picture of the
shadow's true form, and a message to go along with it. This will only cover the
location of the photos, not the messages that go with it. 

Echo Photo #1 - Found in the playground near the beginning of the game.

Echo Photo #2 - Found in the drain of the pumping station tunnel in the woods.

Echo Photo #3 - Found in the Hunting Cabin in the woods.

Echo Photo #4 - Found in the open side door of a red car, the same car that the
"Pinned Beauty" memento was found in.

Echo Photo #5 - Found on the sofa in the Cat House brothel.

Echo Photo #6 - Found in the school after opening the window.

Echo Photo #7 - Found on a bench to the left of the movie theater

Echo Photo #8 - Found at the rear of a parked car at the mall.

Echo Photo #9 - Found at the cardboard face-cutout thing at the amusement park.

<=3. Echo Message Locations=>

Echo Messages are different from Echo Photos in that you don't have to take a
picture to get the message, and there is static interference when you get near
an Echo Message Location. 

Echo Message #1 - Found at the television in Clear Picture.

Echo Message #2 - Found at the mannequin in the red dress at Theresa's

Echo Message #3 - Found at the phone hanging on the front of the first cabin 
you come to in the woods.

Echo Message #4 - Found at a wreath hanging on a tree in the woods.

Echo Message #5 - Found at a tent in the woods, by the pumping station.

Echo Message #6 - Found at a deer skull hanging in a tree in the woods, shortly
after your phone call from Cybil.

Echo Message #7 - Found at a poster about the choking game next to the bike 
rack at the school.

Echo Message #8 - Found at an apron hanging off a hook in the Wonderland 
Burger. (Thanks to Evan Williams)

Echo Message #9 - Found at a table in the Wonderland Burger.

Echo Message #10 - Found at the blue car in the school parking lot.

Echo Message #11 - Found at a bench at the beginning of a hallway in the 
school.

Echo Message #12 - Found on a park bench at the school courtyard.

Echo Message #13 - Found at a poster in the school locker room.

Echo Message #14 - Found by the heart balloon outside of the gym at the school.

Echo Message #15 - Found at a trash can by the Page Turners store.

Echo Message #16 - Found at a cage in the Family Pet store.

Echo Message #17 - Found at a bench near Chica Bella.

Echo Message #18 - Found on top of a trash can by the card store and the salon.

Echo Message #19 - Found inside of the Photographic Memory store.

Echo Message #20 - Found at a map on the hood of a brown car after exiting the
storm drain.

Echo Message #21 - Found at the swan boat in the Tunnel of Love at the theme
park.

<=4. UFO Locations=>

After beating the game once, you can start a new file and follow the "UFO 
Storyline." Look for a big billboard over Theresa's Clothing Store. Call the
number on the billboard (555-3825) once you get a phone. There are thirteen 
UFO's scattered all through the game. You have to take a picture of every one
to get the much-loved "UFO Ending".

UFO #1 - After you finish in the playground, go back to the alley and through
the door the door leading you into either Theresa's or Clear Picture. 
After doing that, search above a dumpster for your first UFO.

UFO #2 - Inside of the boathouse in the woods. Look up into one of the corners
where the wall meets the roof.

UFO #3 - After you go out of the hunting lodge in the woods, look for two 
barrels up against the side of the building. The UFO is on top of one of the
barrels.

UFO #4 - In the sky in between the goal posts at the Midwich High School 
football field.

UFO #5 - After you exit the Cat House brothel and you're on the roof, look to
the left for the fifth UFO.

UFO #6 - In the school courtyard hovering directly above the statue.

UFO #7 - Before you enter the gym at the school, look at the tree to your right
to find the UFO.

UFO #8 - When you're about to enter the mall, around when you get a call from
Lisa, look over the railing into the parking garage for the 8th UFO.

UFO #9 - Inside the Family Pet near the fish tanks.

UFO #10 - Once you enter the Pawn Shop, look left to find the UFO.

UFO #11 - Found inside a barred tunnel inside the water tunnel. This is the
same tunnel where you find the "Happy Bond" memento and get a call from Cheryl.

UFO #12 - At the dock area, after the theme park, but before you go on the 
boat, go down one of the jetties to find a UFO hovering near the end.

UFO #13 - Finally, the last UFO! When you are pulled ashore at the lighthouse,
before entering, follow the shoreline until you find the 13th UFO in the water.

After you've gotten all 13 UFO's, enter the lighthouse to watch your awesome 
UFO ending!

<=Phone Numbers=>

Throughout the game you will find that there are many phone numbers that you 
can using Harry's phone. Some have no purpose, while others do.
