3-3 please help

From what I hear you have to have carrie to get past the spikey things but how do you get her? I've tried going back to the water level to see if I missed anything but I cant.... If someone doesnt mind please tell me in detail what to do and how to do it... Thanks a bunch

You have to go to level 3-4 and go in the lizard's trap door. There will be carrie in a treasure cheast in a secret room.

for getting pest the spikes you don't need carrie, you use slim and walk a little but make sure you stop before they come back up. continue doing this until you get to the end. do the same thing on the way back.
In case you didn't know you have to press 1 to use slim.
