When you have cleared the game go to the Phantom Island and talk to the black spirit. When you then select the first choice the New Game Plus feature will become available.
This feature will become an available option when you beat the game.
The following characters become available options for New Game+ when you beat 'Another Marona' (you retain the character you started with).
Unlock Carona:
Beat 'Another Marona'.
Unlock Raphael:
Beat 'Another Marona'.
Unlock Sprout:
Beat 'Another Marona'.
Unlock Walnut:
Beat 'Another Marona'.
