When you are in 1st and close to the finish line and a blue shell hits you and you come in 5th well if you have a mushroom (normal or gold) and you use it right when it circles around your head and use it and you wont get hurt not even the shock wave hurts you. (but you have a slim chance of having a mushroom though)
