There are four vehicles in the game which can be unlocked by placing third in the indicated class.
Unlock Denkou QX:
Place at least third in Siberia league in Proton Class.
Unlock DT Basutan:
Place at least third in Siberia league in Neutron Class
Unlock Faia VM:
Place at least third in Shima league in Neutron Class.
Unlock Kan Y:
Place at least third in Sunahara league in Proton Class.
If you press the accelerator at the exact time that the announcer shouts 'GO!' you will receive a boost at the start of the race.
