Hold L2 at the 'Start' screen and then press Up(2), Down(6), Up(3). If the code has been entered correctly a volleyball will appear from the left of the screen and splash on the sea. Alternately play the game in Puzzle mode and as you progress through the game new modes will become unlocked in Tournament mode.

Hold L1 at the 'Start' screen and then press Up(4), Down(3), Up(5). If the code has been entered correctly a volleyball will appear from the left of the screen and splash on the sea. These bonus characters can also be unlocked by completing ALL the Puzzle mode levels and then going to the volcano level in the middle.

At start screen hold L1 and press up(4),down(3),up(5) and it should now be in special mode.
