Wipeout Pulse Cheats and Tips

A good strategy is to save cannons, rockets and plasma for when you are on the straight sections of the tracks as it is easier to hit opponents then.

Make sure nobody hits you when using leech-feed or your attack will be interrupted. If you are the one being leeched, fire weapons on the leecher to break off the attack.

When you are falling behind use quakes so that you are able to hit more enemies.

The following tracks become available when you complete the indicated grid by reaching a certain amount of points.

Arc Prime White:

Complete Grid 1.

Talon's Junction Black:

Complete Grid 1.

Metropia Black:

Complete Grid 2.

Moa Therma Black:

Complete Grid 2.

Arc Prime Black:

Complete Grid 3.

If you want to get away quickly press X when 'Go' appears at the start of the race and you will begin with a boost.

Unlock Medieval Team:

Earn 70 Gold medals to unlock this team.

Unlock Zone Team:

Earn Gold medals on ALL 4 Zone tracks to unlock this team.

Unlock Karbonis Track:

Earn Gold medals in the 8 Alpha and Beta league courses.

Unlock Classic Tracks:

In each difficulty class earn ALL Golds to unlock a classic track.

Earn the indicated amount of Golds to unlock the corresponding rank.

0 Golds: Rookie

12 Golds: Trainee

24 Golds: Amateur

36 Golds: Geek

48 Golds: Enthusiast

60 Golds: Addict

72 Golds: Veteran

84 Golds: Master

96 Golds: Guru

108 Golds: Junkie

120 Golds: Legend

132 Golds: Purist

When you use the EG-X team's ship in races you will earn 'Loyalty Points', when you have collected the indicated amount the alternate skin will become unlocked.

Unlock EG-X ship Alternate Skin:

Collect 4,000 Loyalty Points with the EG-X team.

Unlock EG-X ship Eliminator Skin:

Collect 8,000 Loyalty Points with the EG-X team.

Unlock EG-X ship Zone Skin:

Reach 16,000 Loyalty Points with the EG-X team.

Unlock EG-X Concept Skin:

Reach 25,000 Loyalty Points with the EG-X team.

Unlock Alternate Skins for ALL Ships:

Reach 60,000 Loyalty Points with the EG-X team.

Unlock Eliminator Skin for ALL Ships:

Reach 75,000 Loyalty Points with the EG-X team.

Unlock Zone Skin ALL Ships:

Reach 90,000 Loyalty Points with the EG-X team.

Unlock Concept Skins for ALL Ships:

Reach 100,000 Loyalty Points with the EG-X team.

This is in the manual but I have noticed on infrastructure, not many people do this.

Ok here go's

When you have gone over a ramp or jump press left, right, left or right, left, right on your directional pad.

If you have done this successfully, your ship will roll over and when you land you will be given a large speed boost (the equivalent to the ones you pick up on item pads)

On any ships get

4000 loyalty points to get alternative skin

8000 loyalty points for eliminator skin

16000 loyalty points for Zone skin

25000 loyalty points for concept skin
