Beat the game once with either the Towa or Toki ending and save the game. When you do this your system data will be updated and an option for 'EX New Game' will become available when you now select 'New Game'. In 'EX New Game' you will retain the learned Skills, Gifts, GP, and Krone from any save of your choosing, not necessarily the one from when you beat the game.
When you beat an EX New Game balancing the Love evenly between Toki and Towa you will get a special ending.
