The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match Cheats and Tips

Halfway through the arcade mode , you will have a predetermined mid-boss fight in between stages 4 and 5 against 1 out of 7 different characters , the choice of the mid-boss depends on how you played in the first 4 stages , each one have their own conditions to follow (except for Angel and Foxy who share the same conditions) , here they are

Kyo-1 : finish first 3 stages with a Desperation move

Kyo-2 : finish first 3 stages with a combo containing a Desperation move

Kusanagi : finish first 3 stages with a combo containing a Max cancel and a Desperation move

Kula : finish at least 2 stages with a Super Desperation move

Nameless : finish at least 2 stages with a Hidden Super Desperation move

Angel/Foxy : Fail to meet any of the above conditions.

At the end of arcade mode (either single or team play mode) you can have an extra/bonus fight against Omega Rugal right after defeating the final boss, here are the conditions to reach him :

Beat the entire game with no continues

Defeat the final boss with a Desperation move of any level

Leave at least 80% life remaining or at least 2 surviving team members (in team play mode)

Note : this fight is one-time only and the game will conclude and go into credits roll afterwards regardless of the outcome.

Towards the end of arcade mode , you have the possibility of fighting a potential one out of 4 different final bosses , the choice of the boss will be decided by how you finish the last regular stage (5th stage) , here are the conditions to reach them :

Clone Zero : finish the 5th stage with a Desperation move

Original Zero : finish the 5th stage with a Super Desperation move

Igniz : finish the 5th stage with a Hidden Super Desperation move

Krizalid : fail to meet any of the above conditions.

At the 'Main' menu select Endless mode and defeat the boss in the indicated battle.

Unlock Geese:

Defeat him in Endless mode battle No.59.

Unlock Goenitz:

Defeat him in Endless mode battle No.60.

Unlock Krizalid:

Defeat him in Endless mode battle No.62 or in Story mode.

Unlock C.Zero:

Defeat him in Endless mode battle No.63 or in Story mode.

Unlock Zero:

Defeat him in Endless mode battle No.64 or in Story mode.

Unlock Igniz:

Defeat him in Endless mode battle No.65 or in Story mode.

Unlock Rugal:

Defeat him in Endless mode battle No.66 or in Story mode.

When you defeat Rugal in Team play using the indicated characters the corresponding ending Gallery will become available.
