To easily get the flawless grove achievment just play the song so watcha want with lefty flip on while holding the guitar righty style. So watcha want only has green notes so you wont have to worry to much about getting confused by the lefty flip. The lefty flip is so that you can downstrum while the game registers upstrums.By righty syle I mean the standard way of holding the guitar.

Gold Stars are very rare, and finding out what they are is more difficult than achieving this. I believe, however, that I have pieced together what they are.

I believe that, in order to earn a gold star, you must make 1.5 stars AFTER already getting five stars on expert. There is debate on whether it's 1.5 or 1.45, but I don't think it matters much. I do know that stars are based on points, so getting 100% may not be enough, but you need to use your overdrive effectively.

Again, I am not sure if this is the truth or not, but I have begun using my overdrive better, and it seems to work. Mind, some songs may require practice and help from friends, it is Rock BAND, not Rock I'm-so-alone.
