There are 5 ship designs (not including the default version) that can be unlocked by collecting the indicated medals in Infinity mode.

Ship Design #1 - Default

Ship Design #2 - Obtain 2 Bronze Medals

Ship Design #3 - Obtain 4 Bronze Medals and 2 Silver Medals.

Ship Design #4 - Obtain 5 Bronze Medals, 4 Silver Medals, and 2 Gold Medals.

Ship Design #5 - Obtain 6 Bronze Medals, 5 Silver Medals, and 4 Gold Medals.

Ship Design #6 - Obtain 6 Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medals.

Earn the indicated scores in the various stages of Infinity mode to be rewarded special medals that go towards accessing other features.

Unlock Amalgam Bronze Medal:

Earn over 10,000 Points in the Amalgam Stage.

Unlock Amalgam Silver Medal:

Earn over 20,000 Points in the Amalgam Stage.

Unlock Amalgam Gold Medal:

Earn over 30,000 Points in the Amalgam Stage.

Unlock Assault Bronze Medal:

Earn over 9,000 Points in the Assault stage.

Unlock Assault Silver Medal:

Earn over 13,000 Points in the Assault stage

Unlock Assault Gold Medal:

Earn over 20,000 Points in the Assault stage

Unlock Chromatic Conflict Bronze Medal:

Earn over 6,000 Points in the Chromatic Conflict stage.

Unlock Chromatic Conflict Silver Medal:

Earn over 8,000 Points in the Chromatic Conflict stage.

Unlock Chromatic Conflict Gold Medal:

Earn over 10,000 Points in the Chromatic Conflict stage.

Unlock Dodge This Bronze Medal:

Earn over 4,000 Points in the Dodge This stage.

Unlock Dodge This Silver Medal:

Earn over 7,000 Points in the Dodge This stage.

Unlock Dodge This Gold Medal:

Earn over 9,000 Points in the Dodge This stage.

Unlock Highway Bronze Medal:

Earn over 3,000 Points in the Highway stage.

Unlock Highway Silver Medal:
