To be able to enter a dungeon requires tickets, these regenerate over a period of time or can be gained if you run out by battling wild Solari or other wardens on the surface. A dungeon contains multiple floors and a ticket is needed for entry to each one.

To capture wild Solari you will need warden keys, warden keys take a long time to regenerate and do not stack so make sure you catch as many wild Solari as possible when you do have one.

To gain essences you need to battle and take out wild Solari, essences are essential for leveling up your Solari.

Before attacking a Solari look at the small icon in the upper-left hand corner of it's character portrait to identify it's type and use this information to select the attacks that will be the most effective against it.

When selecting an attack to use against a rival Solari make sure you pay attention to the arrows. Arrows pointing up indicate the attack will do extra damage while arrows pointing down indicate less damage will be done.

Don't forget that you can equip wardens with certain attack orbs and have them join the fight. Only wardens can attack other wardens and once a warden has been taken down the battle will immediately end.

A good strategy when starting a battle is not to wait for powerful attacks to charge but to instead focus on using attacks that are immediately available to you. Although these will be weaker attacks they will charge quickly and will not need a lot of preparation time.

To level up Solari requires cash as well as essences, to gain cash you need to complete quests and battle against other wardens and their tamed Solari.

Solari are strong and weak against certain elements. Fire Solari are strong against Nature-types, but weak against water. Water Solari are strong against Fire, but weak against Electric. Nature-types are strong against water types but weak against Fire-types.

When you have Solari learn moves that do not match it's type you will have a strategic advantage in battle as Attack Damage is determined by a moves elemental properties.

Multi-targeting attacks take a long time to charge and prepare so make sure you use them carefully. In the amount of time it takes for a multi-targeting attack to become ready you could use two or more single-target attacks that will hit just as hard if they are used against a Solari's elemental weakness.

When you enter a dungeon make sure you collect ALL the available treasure and other rewards by entering every room, this is worth doing even if you have already unlocked the door to the next level.
