If you want to prevent other people from bidding against you in the single-player mode of this game when an action opens showing all the players in chairs wait until the light focuses on the player to the immediate right of the auction opener the press "esc" and save the game. After that quit to main menu, open the game you just saved and now no one should bid against you, if they do then you didn't wait long enough before saving. To fix this simply wait a little later in the auction to save again.

If you go to the bottom brown places they wont charge as much for hotels and junk.

When you use the auction cheat, buy the land with a lot of buildings on there, city or other players, then you collect all their rent every morning.

When you complete the game you will unlock a secret mission which alowes you to build anything you want and you get lots of money.
