Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle Cheats and Tips

Postgame you will be able to find hidden areas around Peach's Castle by using the Dig ability you received for completing the game. There is one hidden area for each world and they contain secret, difficult challenges that grant you a cash price and ability to purchase ultimate weapons if you beat them. In total there are 8 ultimate weapons, one for each character and depending on the character it can be used as a primary or secondary weapon. These weapons are the highest damaging weapons of their kind and each of them ups damage by 10% against Midbosses.

The following weapons can be found by searching the indicated location on World 2.

Hog Wild:

At Peach's Castle, push boxes onto a frosty path until you gain access to a red ring. Activate it and collect ALL the coins to get the weapon.

Bwahnzai Bill:

Push a ball in World 2-1 to allow you to activate a red ring. Collect ALL the coins to get the weapon.

Brute:

Progress through World 2-3 until you reach a cannon and chest. Progress through the cannon and collect ALL the blue coins to get the weapon.

Prickly Persuader:

While crossing the wooden bridges, go through the red ring. You will get the weapon when you have collected ALL the coins.

If you unlock the first tier of skills first you will open up every ability available to your heroes and it will give you a much better sense of what they can do.

The following weapons can be found by searching the indicated location on World 1.

Rumble Bee:

Collect all the coins after activating the first red ring in World 1-1 to find the weapon inside a chest.

Turbine:

Complete the World 1-2 bonus stage by collecting ALL the blue coins. To find the bonus stage you must go through the right cannon followed shortly after by another one in World 1-2.

Rainbow Runner:

Collect ALL the coins after activating the red ring near the stone maze area in World 1-4. You will then find the weapon inside a chest.

Spike Striker:

It is essential that you plan ahead using TactiCam mode at the beginning of fights by using it to look around the battlefield to see where your enemies are located and to find some good cover.

If you go to the 'Pause' menu and choose to return to Peach's castle you will reset your progress in the current chapter but you will start again with full health.

Resist the temptation of rushing straight to your next objective but instead look around and explore the world as doing so will enable you to find coins and treasure chests.

There is no reward for getting through a fight unscathed taking zero damage so don't waste your time trying to be perfect. Your goal is to win a battle as quickly as possible while keeping all of your heroes on their feet.

Thorn Scorn:

In World 3-1, go through a tube to activate the red ring. Then collect ALL the coins to get the weapon.

Crosshead Orb:

Go through a blue cannon followed by saving Toadette. Then, collect ALL the coins to get the weapon.

No Pity Kitty:

This weapon is found next to the Boo statue.

Hydrant Hammer:

Go through the blue cannon immediately after the Boss battle. Then collect ALL the coins to get the weapon.

Brunnehildea:

At the end of World 3-7, activate the red ring. Then collect ALL the coins to get the weapon.

Finding mushrooms in the overworld will allow you to heal. Mushrooms restore a number of hit points to the three heroes in your party. You can increase the amount of mushroom healing with a skill in each character's skill tree.

When you complete a world's secret level you will unlock gold weapons.

When you complete the following tasks the corresponding character will become unlocked.

Luigi:

Defeat the World 1 mid-Boss.

Rabbid Mario:

Defeat the World 2 mid-Boss.

Peach:

Defeat the World 2 Boss.

Rabbid Yoshi:

Defeat the World 3 mid-Boss.

Don't stay locked in one perspective as doing so will mean you can easily miss a treasure cheast behind or under a tree. Also don't rotate the camera around wildly as doing so can easily get you disorientated.

Peach and Rabbid Peach have healing abilities that can be triggered during fights. Peach has a skill that causes her to heal anyone in a small area around her when she lands after a team jump and Rabbid Peach has a heal technique that will restore hit points to any heroes in range.

Make sure you take advantage of dashes and jump stomps whenever possible as the damage from these free attacks adds up fast and is invaluable.
