Expand your resource satchel so you can pick up more. You will find that everything you find in this game will come in useful at some point so it makes sense that you have an inventory big enough to keep the things you find.
A quick and easy way to get Skill points early in the game is to climb all the Tallnecks. There are 5 of them in total and each one will give you 1 Skill point.
The following video will show you how you can get a permanent mount. This will involve going to Skill Menu and buying 'Call Mount +' (Forager Skill Tree) which requires 3 skill points and unlocking other skills in this tree.

There are a total of 12 Ancient Vessel locations and finding ALL of them unlocks the 'All Ancient Vessels Found' Trophy. Press R3 to scan for ancient rubble. When you have collected ALL 12 return to the collectible merchant in Meridian to receive 1500 Metal Shards and several Modifications. Note: Ancient Vessels are not saved automatically, you must reach a checkpoint or campfire to save the progress.
