Introduction

Pokemon Ruby is a great game, and I reccomend it to all players. Pokemon Ruby and Saphire was very much improved from the original games for Gameboy Color in all of the aspects of video games. A great game for all of you Pokemon fans out there, and one that can create even more fans of Pokemon.

Graphics

Graphics: Graphics were very much improved from the original Pokemon gameboy games. Everything was crafted with finer detail, and many nice details were added such as your reflection in the water. The graphic capabilities of the Gameboy Advance allows Nintendo to bring even more life to Pokemon, and their world. Very nice job here. 9/10

Sound

Sound and music was very good here, instead of annoying rings and tones from Pokemon Red and Blue, Nintendo has crafted actuall music and themes for the game. These tunes well suit the theme and vary throughout the game. Some special events even have their own music, which brings out the mood of the situations in the game. Great job. 9/10

Gameplay

Very realistic, unique worlds and great battles in this game. Some new added features were a great touch from Nintendo and brought even better gameplay to the game. The game is challenging, but I find that you can spend too much time leveling up your Pokemon, and some were dissapointed about the loss of Some Kanto and Johto Pokemon and the limitations of your region. 8/10

Lastability

This game is can keep the player playing for ages, trying to not only defeat the Elite four, but obtain a full pokedex and complete your training card ( obtaining 5 stars). The feature of allowing the player to battle trainers again keeps the game lasting longer, as well as completing the pokedex which takes a while.This game will amuse you for up to 120 hours of gameplay without losing it's touch. Awesome! 9/10

Overall

This game is awesome and is worth every cent in value, as it can be played for a long time without losing it's touch, which makes it a FUN game. This is the best edition of Pokemon yet, and which keeps the soul of Pokemon alive. Great job Nintnedo and this game is definatly on reccomended.
