Introduction

I've had Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex since the day it came out. It's a good game, and gives Wii-only gamers the ability to experience the most definitive First Person Shooter game ever to be put out for current-gen consoles. Though it lacks graphically, the gameplay more than makes up for this.

Graphics

The Graphics, while not stellar, are incredibly good for a Wii game. The game runs at a solid 30 FPS, which is not half bad, especially for a system with less than half the graphic power of the X-Box 360. The characters look good, and actually human-ish (although Ssgt. Griggs looks a bit like a Muppet, but that may be just for me).

Sound

Sound is juicy... It sounds almost like you're on the battlefield fighting alongside these soldiers. You can hear gunshots, explosions, scripted utterances by characters, and even footsteps and knife slashes. Surround Sound or Headphones make and already enjoyable experience even better. I'd highly recommend them.

Gameplay

Gameplay is superb; there's just not a single moment of awkwardness or anything. The single player Campaign keeps calling me back to play it again and again, and multiplayer's frantic firefights keep you on your toes from the moment you set foot in it. All of the controls are customizable, which is good when you consider that everyone has a different play style. The Wiimote and Nunchuk make a fabulous combination, and the game has much more immersion than it's counterparts of the other consoles or the PC.

Lastability

Lastability is as good as it gets for First Person Shooters. You can go through the multiplayer a grand total of eleven times, completing challenges, earning attachments and camouflages. The fact that there are about a million players online gives you never-ending competition, but that's not the best part. As mentioned above, the Campaign brings incredible replay value to the game, because you can always go back to try to better yourself in the Arcade Mode.

Overall

Overall, I give this game a 96. It has a couple flaws, but makes up for it in the most beautiful way. If you have a Wii, and have never experienced the awesomeness that is Modern Warfare, or you want to re-immerse yourself in the game all over again, Modern Warfare Reflex is for you.

Final Score: 96%
