Marriage

Latest update by MongooseGeneral on Jan 21st 2013
In The Sims FreePlay, once you have reached the top of the relationships tree and are at the Partner level, you are able to 'Propose Marriage'. At this point you should look to have the other Sim move in with your Sim, if they have not done so already. Having opted for marriage, you have to purchase a ring from the options below:

Vending Machine Dinosaur Ring: $5,500
Mood Ring: $16,500
Silver Ring: 5 Life Points
White Gold Ring: 10 Life Points
Eternity Ring: 20 Life Points

As you can see, getting married is expensive! Also, if you want to give anything other than a fairly scabby ring to the betrothed, you will have to spend some of your Life Points - though the game gives you 25 for embarking on the Propose Marriage goal, which helps. It is worth noting that you have to be at the top of the Partner level and have bought a ring prior to being able to propose marriage. Once you get the Propose goal, use Be Romantic and you should have the option to Propose Marriage at that point. Should the other Sim decline, you also lose the ring that you had purchased (no one wants a re-used wedding ring right?) and face the choice of trying again, with a more expensive ring, or giving up entirely.
