The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is a 2D RPG mobile game based on the manga and anime series Nanatsu no Taizai. The story is set in a fantasy world similar to the Middle Ages and focuses on a group of knights known as The Seven Deadly Sins, led by their captain, Meliodas. The other knights include Diane, Ban, King, Gowther, Merlin, and Escanor. Each of them is framed for the murder of the Great Holy Knight, and they disband to hide. In The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross there is a launch event called Jericho's One-Shot Defense Training which consists of several unique trials in the form of fights you must complete using a preset team of characters. This event is worthwhile doing as one of the rewards it offers for every chapter you complete are hero enhance potions which are used for leveling up your team. These events are not easy to beat and will require a proper strategy to do so.
Focus on the Main Story
There are some nice prizes locked behind the side quests and optional challenges in The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross. It is more beneficial though to focus on the main plot as it is here where the big rewards lie. Complete Hero's Way's Missions
At your tavern you will be able to access your Hero's Ways's Missions. These missions are tied to a specific character's overall progress and completing them will enable you to upgrade them to their maximum level of power. These missions are well worth doing and you should try to complete them whenever possible. Hero's Way's missions also give you the opportunity to earn useful rewards that will help game progression.
Duplicate Characters
As you progress through The Seven Deadl Sins you will likely recieve multiple instances of the same character. These surplus iterations will automatically be turned into character coins which you can then use to upgrade your most powerful hero or heroine. Excess coins along with increasing amounts of gold are also used. Upgrading a characters ultimate skill will increase its effect significantly. A character’s ultimate skill can be upgraded up to five times, to a max of level 6.
Decorating and Cooking
In The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross your tavern is your main base of operations. It is here where you are able to speak to certain characters, add new decorations to your surroundings, salvage pieces of equipment and cook dishes. New decorations either unlock over time or can be purchased using diamonds. Decorations provide beneficial boosts to various elements of the game so make sure you visit the 'Decorations' tab when you have diamonds to invest. You can cook recipes by tapping the knife and fork button in the bottom-left corner of the bar screen. Cooking a dish while you are at the tavern will give your party added stat bonuses before a battle, you can combine ingrediants to create new foods. You can buy food recipes or food items directly from the guild shop in exchange for guild coins.
Raise your Friendship Level
Whenever you complete one of the main story chapters for a town you will unlock several side quests at the 'Story' tab. Completing these side-quests will help raise your friendship level with that village, which then gives you access to more shops and various rewards.
