HMP Irongate

This is the toughest prison in the game to escape, it is based on the Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary, the famous San Francisco prison from the 1950's and said to be the highest security prison ever. HMP-Irongate houses 1 inmate per cell with security 2 cameras in each cell, has 5 job options, (janitor, mailman, woodshop, unloading, metalshop), and hardly any periods of free time.

10:00 - 11:00 - Breakfast

11:00 - 14:00 - Work/Leisure

14:00 - 15:00 - Afternoon Roll call

15:00 - 16:00 - Free period.

16:00 - 17:00 - Exercise period.

17:00 - 18:00 - Evening meal.

18:00 - 19:00 - Shower Block.

19:00 - 20:00 - Evening Roll call.

20:00 - 9:00 - Lights out

How to Escape

Below is one strategy that can be used to escape from HMP-Irongate.

Step 1

Collect 2 Paper Maches, then craft them together to a Fake Vent Cover.

Step 2

Get a Screwdriver or a Powered Screwdriver. Then, slowly get rid of the vent above your cell. In your vent area, stash all of your Contraband. Remember to block the Camera with either a Tube of Toothpaste, Shaving Cream, or a Roll of Duct Tape.

Step 3

Put the Fake Vent Cover to cover the hole.

Step 4

Craft two Cups of Molten Chocolate. Obtain Wad of Putty, then Molten Plastic.

Step 5

Knock out the Guard who has the Staff Key and the Guard with the Cell Key using the Cups of Molten Chocolate. Take one of the Guards outfit. Craft a Plastic Staff Key by crafting the real staff key and the Wad of Putty, making a Key Mold. Then combine the key mold with molten plastic. Make sure to put the real key back on the guard.

Step 6

Craft a Contraband pouch, Makeshift Raft, Multitool, Timber Brace, Guard outfit or Infirmary overalls, Bed dummy.

At night, put your Bed Dummy on your bed.

Step 7

Put your guard outfit on.

Step 8

Take a Contraband Pouch, Makeshift Raft, Multitiool, Timber Brace and Staff keys and Cell key.

Step 9

Go out of your cell and walk down through the door with yellow lock. You can leave your Cell Key.

Step 10

Go out with the door with red lock. You can leave your Countraband Pouch.

Step 11

Use the door with red lock to cross the fence. You can leave your Staff Key.

Step 12

Dig down the door with white lock to cross the wall.

Step 13

Go right, and down a bit until you find a little dock. Then use your Makeshift Raft at the edge of the dock to escape to freedom.
