All Overcooked 2 Cheats and Tips - Latest First.

Orders

At the start you should work on the orders in the order that you recieve them. Once they start getting more complicated and need more ingredients and involve more tasks you should focus on the simple ones first at the back of the list so you pick up the easy points and give your final score a little boost before the clock hits zero.

Clean Plates

You start with three clean plates but as you progress and start doing well you will need more so it is important that you have clean plates available. If you don't have clean plates you will end up having fully assembled meals sitting there that cannot be sent out to the hungry customers which will mean you will lose tip points and possibly your tip multiplier. To clean dirty plates you need to take them to the sink and clean them by holding the Chop/Throw button.

Dashing

Dashing will allow you to move quickly and you will need to take advantage of it to beat some of the trickier levels where platforms move and stairs disappear as it will enable you to quickly dash over them and get to where you need to go.

Throwing

It is vital that you have access to ingredients at all times therefore it is important that you get used to using the new throw mechanics in Overcooked 2. Throwing allows you to move items quickly by passing them to other people who don't have immediate access to them. You can also throw ingredients directly into pots and pans from a distance which you may have to do if you are strapped for time.

Planning

Along with communication another key to being successful is to plan everything. A good tactic for this is to play through a new level once not worrying about how well you are going to do but instead plan how you are going to tackle the level on your next playthrough. This means knowing things like where each character starts and where the ingredients are. Also, if you assign roles to each player in your first attempt you will know what you are doing the second time and it will minimise the time you waste.

Communication

Whether you are playing Solo or Co-op to be successful it is important that you are in constant communication with other players and chefs making sure you are updating them on what you are doing and what you need next. When you all know who is doing what, and at what time, you should be able to get the dishes out without any problems.

Unlock ALL the Kevin Levels

When you meet the following requiquirements in the indicated level the corresponding level will become unlocked. These conditions will depend on whether you are playing Solo or Co-op. A combo is when you serve up meals in the order they are listed without failing any.
