Superhot: Mind Control Delete Tips
In Superhot: Mind Control Delete time only moves when you do. This allows you to plan your moves without time moving forward. Time will slowly move forward if you move your camera around while standing in place. Take advantage of this to set up a trap. Remember also that you will be able to dodge barrages of bullets from assault rifles by moving slowly.
Make sure the first thing you do when you begin a round is look around and see if there are any weapons or objects nearby you can use. Remember that every dark object is throwable and if you hit an enemy with it they will at least be stunned. You will also be able to block bullets by throwing a random object at it. You can also deflect bullets with a katana to send it back to the enemy.
Finding a gun as quickly as possible and making every shot count is the best strategy for staying alive. Shoot where your enemy is going to be, not where they are. Basically, to hit an enemy that is moving in a direction you need to shoot ahead of them to hit them. It does not matter where you hit an enemy to kill them, as long as you hit red. Enemies come from bright white doorways when they spawn into the level. You only need to kill a certain amount of enemies in order to progress.
You can make an enemy drop their weapon by punching them and as long as you hit before they do you will be able to beat whatever melee weapon they have. It takes three punches to kill an enemy. Enemies with katanas can be killed by shooting at their legs or feet. If you aim at their head or torso they will use their katana to block anything thrown/shot at them.
You will find that enemies will sometimes shoot around you, it is vital that you pay attention when this happens so you don't walk into a bullet. If you hear an enemy shooting but don't see them your best chance of dodging the bullets is to step to the side.
If you progress along the different levels/nodes it will provide new hacks that you can pick as upgrades during each level. If you fail a level/node, it might give you a different set of levels. However, each level still has similar weapons and placements of them to take advantage of.
