To get most of the tools in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town you need to enter a specific location daily and initiate talk with the townsfolk there in order to raise their affinity towards your character. Enables you to cut down trees to get wood. Given on 1st day.

Enables you to harvest grass. Given on 1st day

Hammer:

Enables you to break rocks. Given on 1st day.

Hoe:

Enables you to till the land for farming. Given on 2nd day after event.

Watering Can:

Enables you to water crops and plants. Given on 2nd day after event.

Enables you to remove water holes. Given after a day of rain, on the next morning.
