In Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order you play the role of a Padawan known as Cal Kestis who survives the Emperor's Order 66, a command that called for the Clone Troopers to kill their Jedi leaders. Cal manages to escape and is forced into hiding, blending in on the planet Brakka by joining a Scrapping Guild to help salvage decommissioned starships.

Cal soon finds that he is being pursued by the Second Sister, one of the deadliest members of the Imperial Inquisition who leads a force of Purge Troopers specially trained to track down leads on Jedi Sightings. With the help of his faithful droid buddy BD-1, Rebel extremist Saw Gerrera and mysterious Jedi Knight Cere Junda.

Cheats, Tips and Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include how to get hints from the game when you are stuck trying to solve a puzzle and unlocking the Double-Bladed Lightsaber. As well as these hints and tips we also have a mini-guide here which goes into more details on some of the tips we have below:

  • Ask BD-1 for Help

If you are stuck on a puzzle and need help you can request a hint from the game by holding down on your controller's d-pad. This input causes Cal and BD-1 to discuss the puzzle they're trying to solve, and their conversation yields hints as to what you're supposed to do or what Force power you need to use.

  • Unlock Glowing Red Stone Walls

When you first begin Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order not everything will be available for you to explore and will be blocked by glowing red stone walls. In order to get past these walls you must first unlock the Force Push and Force Pull abilities. Once you have gained these abilities you will be able to gain access to more areas, the once blocked areas will turn blue to signal that they are now available to be explored.

  • Scomp Link Upgrade for BD-1

The Scomp Link upgrade for BD-1 will help you access areas and chests that are glowing red. Obtaining it is part of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order's story and you will get it during your visit to the planet Zeffo.

  • How to get Databank Scans

Most of the time BD-1 will be on your shoulders but there will be instances where the droid will decide to climb off and move towards an object that is nearby. Follow the droid as it almost always means there is an interactive element nearby, such as something to scan for a Databank entry, or something to slice (once you have access to the Scomp Link).

  • When to use Stim Packs

Cal is able to take a lot of punishment regardless of the difficulty setting you are playing on. Even when the health bar is blinking red he will still be able to sustain two or three more hits before he actually dies. With this in mind you need to make sure you only use your stim packs when you really need to.

  • Stim Canister Locations

Hidden around the galaxy in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order are four yellow chests that contain Stim Canisters. If you are playing on the harder difficulties it is vital that you find them as doing so will increase BD-1's stim holding capacity from 2 up to 6. These four Stim Cannisters can be found at the following locations.

    - Stim Cannister 1: Bogano

Found in the Subterranean area on Bogano.

    - Stim Cannister 2: Bogano

On Bogano beneath the Mantis' landing pad. The same area where you find the Bogling Companion.

    - Stim Cannister 3:

Found near the Derelict Hangar location on Zeffo.

    - Stim Cannister 4:

In the Venator Wreckage area on Zeffo.

  • Unlock Double-Bladed Lightsaber

In order to find the Double-Bladed Lightsaber upgrade you need to make your way through Dathomir's main path until you reach a hooded stranger in Brother's Bastion.

At this point you have to follow the path that is located towards the left until you find a small cave entrance. Inside the cave you will find a workbench that has a special attachment that unlocks the Double-Bladed Lightsaber.
