We have a collection of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated cheats and tips that will help you to progress in this classic 3D platformer that was originally released in 2003. The game is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated is based on the popular Nickelodeon animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. You play as SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy, and using their unique set of skills you must thwart the bad robots that have been released into Bikini Bottom by Plankton. This remake features an all-new multiplayer mode and content which was cut from the original game.
You can switch between SpongeBob, Patrick, and sandy in-game to utilise their special abilites by looking for a bus stop which will look like a metal pole with a shell on top. If you approach the bus stop and click the button that prompts you. A red bus will appear and you will be able to switch character.
Although there are autosaves and checkpoints in SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated for when you inevitably die you can also save the game manually whenever you want. To do this press the pause button on your device and click 'Options' at the bottom of the screen. Then just scroll down to 'Save Game'.
Check out our How to Play with Friends guide to find out how you can play the new multiplayer mode that has been added to the remake of the game.
Platforming is fun when the platforms are large but when you are forced to navigate smaller platforms it can become frustrating since there are quite a few tricky actions your chosen character will be required to perform. You will find that turning off the smart camera so you can control the camera manually will often help in when you encounter these situations.
Every level of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated has a number of lost socks that you can find. For every 10 of Patrick's socks you find, you can trade with him for a golden spatula. You can see what areas you can find these socks by going to the game's menu.
Check out our Where to find Steering Wheels guide to learn the whereabouts of this collectible.
You can collect extra golden spatulas by searching the different buildings in Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrate as many of them such as Squidward's house will have golden spatulas hidden inside. You can also get a golden spatula by taking care of Mr. Krabs' robot problem at the Krabby Patty.
You will find Mr Krabs hanging around in every section of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated and if you talk to him he will offer you a golden spatula in exchange for some shiny things. Every time you go to Mr Krabs for a golden spatula he will demand more shiny things.
On the map in the 'Pause' menu you will be able to reduce the amount of time you spend running around by using fast travel. To get to a particular spot on a level you simply have to highlight the nearest golden spatula and you will fast travel there. Using fast travel does not cost anything.
The cruise bubble is like a missile you can aim at things far away. It is unlocked in the last area of Bikini Bottom once you have defeated Robot Patrick. You will find Bubble Buddy standing by the road who will show you how to use it.

First you have to beat Robot Sandy in the Poseidome to gain access to the next area in Bikini Bottom then talk to Bubble Buddy and he'll tell you how to bubble bowl. I'm not sure what you mean by this question. Bubble bash is one of the various bubble moves you could pull off. You could also read one of the signs in SpongeBob's attic at his house which I guess is also like a whole library or talk to Bubble Buddy and they'll both tell you how to do it. You could get to the attic through SpongeBob's bedroom. It is through the door to the left of the front door to his house the same room Gary is in. Just make sure you enough shiny objects to enter. There should be plenty of them in the kitchen and some in the bathroom. There is also another move SpongeBob will do where if you jump and then press O on the PlayStation, B on the Xbox or B on the Nintendo Switch while in mid air he'll do some sort of ground pound maneuver with two massive bubble feet. I think it's called a bubble bounce. Bubble bash he'll blow a bubble to give himself a viking helmet and then jump and smash anything above him with his head |
